She didn't get far because Shimei had grabbed her hand and pulled her back into his arms. Resting his chin on her shoulder he said, "You need to relax.... Just breath and calm down.." He gave her hands a gentle squeeze before letting them along with her go and he pulled his shirt on.

She walked right inside, and was going to start yelling at him, but froze just a few steps inside the room he had chosen as his own. Her hands came up quickly, her fingertips running over her cheeks as they became heated with a blush that was bright on her pale skin. Her lips moved as she tried to make sense of what she was seeing, her hands turning to seem as if she was thinking of walking closer, but she quickly shook her head to banish such thoughts. "S-Sorry....." She turned and fled from the room.

Shimei just looked confused as he sat there. Sighing he shook his head and finished up with his guns before standing up and taking them to his room. Pulling off his shirt he went to put a clean one on.

She yelped and pressed her hands to her face. "Oh my god! What the hell?!" Catching sight of herself in the clean chrome front of the refrigerator and she screamed again. "Dammit, I look like hell! OH god!" Turning off the fridge, she ran from the room and up into her private bathroom. She was so mortified that he had seen her after a series of horrible nightmares and with no makeup on!

A few soft mews were heard as Jasmine rubbed on her legs purring loudly. "Ah... ah.. Jasmine you been fed." Said Shimei who sat at the kitchen table. She had been so rattled she didn't notice him. On the table he had several weapons spread put in pieces and was cleaning the compartment out of his favorite hand gun with a special swab.

She sighed and gently rubbed at her temples. "Maybe you'll be gone before then...." Putting away her book and returning the blanket to where it was, she went up into her room and fell asleep. Her dreams had her waking up, shaking and remembering just bright flashes of light, and the sound of screeching tires, followed by loud gun-shots. Shaking her head, she checked the clock as saw that it was only six in the morning. Shaking her head, she pulled on a black nightgown that reached down to her ankles, then moving into the kitchen to start cooking a bit of breakfast.

"Says the woman who invited this gun playing rough talking pig of a man into her home. You don't know who I am or two shits about me yet you invited me into your home. For all you know I could be an international spy hell even a wanted criminal." Said Shimei giving her the blanket. He then stood up and walked to the door. Stopping he looked at her and said, "I'm a mercenary and the best there is in my field. There ain't no one I can't kill and I hope you're ready for the trouble that might come here." He then left after that.

She raised her head, her hair covering the left side of her face, her glasses perched on the end of her nose. Blinking, she looked at the tray before looking at him. "A rough talking, gets-into-gun fights, lives like a pig, man knows how to make tea? Simply amazing." She reached up and pulled her hair to fall forward over her right shoulder, hiding the scar. "And you should pay more attention. See that blanket on the back of the chair? Hand it to me please. I am dressed in just a robe, you know."

Shimei had woken up from his nap and went to go have a bath. But seeing the tub and how big it was he whistled saying, "Damn this place is ritzy..." After his bath he went to hunt her down. Finding her in the library he set the tray down and said, "I took the liberty of making you tea. It's the least I can do for you letting me stay here." He sat down across from her.

She walked inside and up to her room. Once there, she stripped from her clothes and wrapped herself up in a simple white robe, closing it tightly around her waist. She let her hair down, and looked at herself in the mirror, raising her right hand to lightly trace the scar that ran along the back side of her ear, when it disappeared down her back. She had been in the car crash that had claimed her mother, and the scar and memory loss of that night were all she was left with. Sighing, she turned and headed to her library.

Shimei came running up and took her saying, "You didn't tell me you had dogs. He sighed and carried Jasmine back to his room after that. Putting her in her bed he sighed and collapsed onto his own his eyes closing.

"Serah! Yoshi! Noel! Stop right there!" The wolves tried to skid to a halt, but they ended up tumbling over their own legs, landing in a heap together. Walking up, she hooked a chain to each of the wolf's collars and began to lead them towards a holding pen situated in the distance just beyond the boundaries of the redwood. "You know not to chase things unless they are food. That is a cat, a guest of this place. Not a meal!" The wolves cowered, slinking low to the ground into their own dens. She had raised them by hand after finding them abandoned in the wild, and they had learned the tones of her voice. Leaving the pen, she found the cat hidden in a tree, and carefully got her down. "Jasmine.... It's alright...." She spoke calmly, gently petting her until she relaxed.

"Great... why not just start your own in home museum and no worries I'm not a big reader the books I had were something needed for my line of work." Said Shimei as he grabbed his bags. Once he had been shown his room he went and unpacked and was about to nap when heard barking outside. He went out seeing a few dogs chase down Jasmine he ran after them saying, "Hey you mutts leave my cat alone!" Though Jasmine ran toward him and streaked between his legs making him land on his back with a yelp and the dogs ran over him causing him even more pain. Getting up cursed up a storm and went to rescue his poor cat.

"Well, just don't disorganize my library. It took a lot of time to get it organized, and even longer to beg and auctioning to get them. There are a couple of books in glass cases. You can look but don't touch. One has letters from each of the United States founding fathers. Another is a journal that was found hidden under a board in the Lincoln bedroom. I also have several highly sought after movie pieces from the Star Wars series. Tomorrow, I will be having someone from Skywalker Ranch coming in with a casting set for the R2-D2. So.... You know, don't stare at her too much. She's.... a bit shy and over-reacts a lot. You might want to plug your ears when she arrives."

"I can do that but no promises my room will stay clutter free. I seem to find my things a lot easier that way." Said Shimei with a grin. Looking around he had never seen such a nice house. For being simple the place had a very nice touch to it. He set his bags down and set down Jasmine who ran down the end of the hall and hopped into a window.

Eventually, the car went outside of center of the city, and they approached a nice two-story Victorian style house on the edge of the eastern side of the South Side, where the back of the house was bordered by redwood trees. Closing the garage door behind her, she walked up to the door that led into the small room where the people who cleaned the house would leave their keys and tools and things for safe keeping. Hanging up her keys, she pushed open the next door, which opened into a small hall, which was connected to the front hall. For being such an old house, it was quite modern, but with very little in the way of extravagance. When it came to her own home, she liked things simple. "Please, do clean up after yourself, try not to break anything, and put things that you take right back where they were when you got them."

"I guess..." Said Shimei as Jasmin hopped into his arms. Before he knew it he had been packed and was in the car with his cat on his lap as she drove him to her home.

She groaned, gently pressing the palms of her hands against her eyes, taking in a slow, deep breath. Now that she saw how horrible his place was, and all the ways he might end up killing himself, a compulsive thought came to her mind and then slipped from her lips, her face burning with a blush as she realized what she was saying. "I don't really like being in the suite, so I'm going to my house in the historic part of South Side. You are coming with me, as pride demands."

Though the stove caught on fire and Shimei cried, "Shit not again!!" He quickly threw salt on the fire putting it out" Yanking the plug cutting off the stove he said, "Now you see why I don't eat much...." He gave a nervous laugh.

She had gone back the suite, and has tossed and turned for a few hours before getting up and taking a shower. She pulled on a pair of jeans, her black boots, and a low-shoulder, long sleeve red shirt. After curling her hair and putting on her make-up, she picked up her bag and left the hotel. Halfway back to the guy's place, she found herself flushed with embarrassment. A total stranger, and yet she had fixed herself up like that? The moment she came to the door, she smelled burning food. Sighing, she barged in and flipped the charred contents of the pan into the trash. Reaching into her bag, she pulled on an apron, shooting a glare at him. "Really? You can't cook a simple egg? One, you've got it too high." Setting the pan down onto the burner, she turned down the heat,

Shimei smiled and said, "Thanks I think I'll be fine now. You should head home before it gets too late. " He collapsed onto the sofa and said, "Stop by some time if you want. I won't be working much with this shoulder anyways."

When the woman left, her OCD started to creep up on her, She was about to start kicking things into piles, when the sound of loud growing caught her attention. She blinked at him, confused for a second before sighing, shaking her head with a slight smile. Opening her cell, she dialed a number quickly, and rattled off a small list in Mandarin. Closing her eyes and imagining herself somewhere more organized and clean, she waited five minutes before opening the door. "Thank you, Zhang." Closing the door she walked over and pushed the bag towards him. "Fried rice, lo mein, and chicken. From the best little Chinese place in the South Side."

"Ha Shimei if you know what's good for you you'll drop the rich baggage anyways I got business to handle so ta ta for now" Said Kat as she left slamming the door behind her. "Sorry about her she's a handful even for me and I have to work with her." A loud growl was heard and Shimei just coughed slightly saying, "That was my stomach I haven't eaten in a while."

"We Westons do not let the words of others bother us, because that is what they are: just words." Her voice was clear, and she was going to say something else when her cell rang. Turning her back to the two, she pulled out her cell and flipped it open. "Carriteani! Where the hell are you?!" Wincing at the shrill voice, and the face that her cell was on vibrate, she turned that feature off. "Rhy, do you have to yell? ....... I had to run an errand. ........ WHAT?! I am SO going to kill Phillip! ....... Yes, I took him to his place. ........ Whatever." Closing her phone, she looked at the woman with an eyebrow raised. "Judge us not equally, for it will bite your pretty little ass."

"Yep that's my girl her name is Jasmine and she was given to me for a job I did about a year ago." Said Shimei with a smile. He set of bowl of milk down along with a dish of soft cat food for her and she ran over and he reached out to pet her. Standing up he said, "Either way she's a spoiled little princess I make sure to take care of her well." Clearing off the sofa he said, "Please have a seat." Though the door came crashing open and a woman came walking in fuming with anger. "How dare you hang up on me Shimei! I thought you were in trouble!!" She yelled. "Please Kat calm down I just was busy is all." Said Shimei backing up. Though Kat punched him sending him falling back up against the wall. He sat there wincing and she said, "Some partner you are!" She suddenly noticed Youko and said, "What's this Shimei you're picking up girls now? Bah this woman looks like she's never seen the light of day. I hate rich people..." "Hey now Kat that's rude...." Said Shimei standing up.
