PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySat Jan 29, 2011 4:38 pm

Kaila smiled happily to the King. He was so kind and gentle, more so then she expected a King to be. Though, she wasn’t quite sure what she expected a King to act like. Never really imagined anything like this before, let alone imagine that she would actually be in a situation like this before. Kaila then started wondering how he could still be so kind though. His daughter had been kidnapped when she was young and he hadn’t seen her in such a very long time. Now that she was back in her dimension, she was with an enemy nation. Something like that definitely would have been hard to deal with. The young woman admired the King’s strength at that point.

She felt kind of bad for interrupting the King’s humming and his peace but she was just too curious as to whether or not Coren was coming or not. Though, the King didn’t seem to mind as he just smiled and told her that he was, but he had some things to do beforehand. “Oh, alright. Thank you.” She said sweetly before looking down at the table, trying to hide and push back the small blush that was forming on her cheeks at the thought of Coren seeing her like this. Would he even recognize her?... Would it matter? Her heart jumped a little at the thought before she was pulled from her thoughts by the King speaking with her.

Her eyes left the table to look back up to the King, nodding when he asked her about her name, even though it seemed after that it was more of a rhetorical question. When he mentioned about her and Coren meeting, and then it being fate, she couldn’t stop the small redness that creeped onto her pale cheeks. Before she could even say anything though, Cleshire had chimed in and asked what he meant about fate. The King’s answer made Kaila laugh softly and she shook her head. “It’s actually just a simple and funny story. I’m not sure if it was fate or not.” She said cheerfully, not knowing if she even believed her own words. To her, it was almost like fate, but for her own sake. Like he was sent to her to take her away from her miserable life on Earth and not the other way around.

Before she could say anything else about the subject however, Kaila heard a servant say that Coren was here. Kaila blinked a few times, looking towards the door as he it opened, revealing the cat eared male that she had, admittedly, missed all day. He was also all dressed up, with a traditional looking black coat and pants, white shirt underneath. Kaila admitted to herself that he looked quite handsome. Her hand slowly came up to her hair, smoothing out parts of it out of nervous habit before putting her hand quickly back to her lap, waiting for Coren to be seated.

--

The princess stepped out from behind Qorvus, not sure what he was standing in front of her. Perhaps it was some sort of tradition or respect thing that they did here. It sort of annoyed Myria, she hated having to stand behind people, staring at their backs. She much rathered looking at people’s faces. Her eyes looked towards the wolf-headed King as he spoke to her, apologizing for his low-disciplined guards. A frown returned to her face at the mention of them and she scoffed slightly to herself at the past thought of them but she quickly brushed that off. She nodded when he mentioned how beautiful she looked.

“Thank you for your kind words, your Majesty.” Myria said respectfully, slightly bowing to him before straightening back up, seeing Qorvus move off to the side out of the corner of her eye. When he moved away for her however, she started to feel a little nervous and lonely. Even though the King showed her hospitality, she still didn’t like him. Didn’t like the look of him, didn’t like the smell in this palace, didn’t like the feeling here. Qorvus was someone she could talk to, mostly since he didn’t say much back and seemed really nervous all the time, but he was still different then everyone else here.

Myria looked towards Qorvus as the King motioned for everyone to leave the room and shut the doors. Her eyes followed him as he bowed and then quickly left, leaving the two alone. Her eyes returned to the King, not smiling and just looking at him. “I am under the understanding that you wanted to speak with me. May I ask what about?”

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyThu Jan 27, 2011 6:07 am

The King merely laughed at the sight of two beautiful ladies, leaving behind a gentle smile after his laughter. "Now, now, no need for the formalities, ladies. Please, sit." He said as he was escorted by one of the servants to his seat at the other end of the long table. When he was finally seated, Cleshire looked around and wondered about Coren. But it would be rude to question the King like this, so she decided to keep her curiosity to herself, until Kaila started speaking.

The King was humming a simple tune as the servant began serving the King his beverage. But his humming came abruptly into a halt when Kaila's question echoed about the room. He turned up and over to Kaila, and with another smile, he answered, "Of course. The young man had a few things to do on his own, but he should be here anytime now." The King said with much confidence, leaving Cleshire sighing with much relief. Coren always seemed comfortable around royalties, and that was why having him around during the dinner with the King would probably feel better than without him.

After a short moment of silence, the King decided to break the silence by turning his attention to Kaila. "What was your name again, dear child? Kaila, was it?" He asked, and nodded to himself as if that was a rhetorical question. "I wonder, how did you happen to meet Coren in the human world? I mean, it must be some kind of fate that the two of you would meet." He said, smiling once more. Cleshire frowned slightly as she turned over to the King in haste, as if he had said something wrong. "I'm sorry to interrupt, but what do you mean by fate, Your Majesty?"

The King turned to Cleshire and his smile faded, though not completely wiped off. "Well, of course! For a mere human to have met Coren and even recognized his true form! I must say this is fate!" He said with a jolly tone, leaving Cleshire much puzzled. She wasn't all too sure what the King was trying to say here, but she didn't want to be rude.

Just then, there was a knock on the doors, and the voice of the door servant came travelling from behind the doors. "Master Coren is here, Your Majesty." When the King had given the permission, the huge doors were pushed opened. Standing on the other side of the door was a young man with two black ears. He was dressed with a white collared shirt and a black coat to cover it, with a pair of long black pants to go with it. In fact, Coren was dressing with his best tonight. "I apologize for being late, Your Majesty." He said with a slight bow.

---

The doors were opened, and Qorvus had stood in front of the Princess. It was a formality for the bodyguards to always greet before they send their escortees into the room to meet the King. But when Qorvus was just too nervous to even start speaking, the voice of the Princess came from his back and travelled to the King, pricking his attention. The wolf-headed King eyed the Princess then at Qorvus. He wasn't too pleased, but the Princess was far more important than a puny bodyguard, so he didn't care to even acknowledge Qorvus's presence.

"I apologize for having such low-disciplined guards around the castle, Princess. I will certainly do something about that after the dinner. But now, my my, you look rather beautiful, Princess." The King said and stood up from his seat, and headed over to the door to greet Princess Myria. Qorvus, knowing his position in this, retreated to the side so that the Princess and the King and meet and talk to each other directly. He wouldn't want to stand in the way of anyone else.

When the King was standing in front of the Princess, he motioned the guards to close the doors and for the other bodyguards around to leave the room, including Qorvus. Without further ado, he gave one last bow to the King and the Princess, and turned.

(Sorry for being sooooo late. /shot x_x By the way, Mikky-chan! Are you interested in continuing our Alice in Wonderland rp? xD Though I am aware that it's my turn to post. /shotshot)

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyThu Jan 13, 2011 11:12 pm

Kaila blinked in surprised when she realised that she had been the first one there. It seemed like the maid was rushing her because she was going to be late for an extravagant event. Well, it was still extravagant in its own way but she was definitely not late. She was seated at the table by a butler and she waited, looking around at all of the decorations and architecture of the room. Kaila had never been in any place as remotely fancy or well taken care of place like this. It overwhelmed her slightly because she felt so low compared to everyone else here. First there was the king, then there was Cleshire who was head of the guard, and then there was Coren. Kaila was just a girl who had begged a cat boy to take her to his world to help save this princess even though she didn’t really like her that much. It made her feel even more self-conscious then she already was.

Her thoughts were cut short by the sound of the door opening and she turned her head to see the tiger woman emerge. Kaila’s eyes widened and she blinked a few times as she gazed at Cleshire. Her hair was now pulled back and she was wearing a beautiful dress. She admired how beautiful she looked and was debated whether or not to tell her so. She definitely thought that she looked absolutely radiant but was unsure what Cleshire’s reaction would be to her giving her such a compliment. Was it weird here to compliment your peer’s? She wasn’t sure how to act or what to say.

Though, before she could think or say anything else, the King made his appearance which caused Kaila to stand out of her seat. Her eyes drifted over to Cleshire when she heard her voice before looking back over at the King. Kaila bowed as well after Cleshire was done speaking. “It truly is an honor to be in your presence, You Majesty. Thank you very much.” She said shyly before standing straight again and taking her seat after the King had been seated as well. Her eyes then drifted towards the other door and she wondered if or when Coren would be showing up. When her eyes gazed across Cleshire doing the same thing, she figured that she was also asking herself the same question.

Kaila looked away from Cleshire quickly as the tiger woman sat down beside her, making her feel even more nervous then she actually was. Why did she have to be sitting next to her? Kaila could almost feel the resentment coming off of her in waves. She wondered why she was hated so much by her. All she wanted to do was to make nice with Cleshire since she seemed like a great woman and a friend to Coren’s.

Her eyes then travelled back to the King and she smiled softly. “Will Coren be joining us this evening as well?” She asked softly, hoping that she didn’t do anything wrong by asking.

--

Myria smiled a little to herself, it seemed as though Qorvus’ words were stuck on his tongue, unable to get anything coherent out. It almost made the girl feel proud, did she really look that different or was he just more nervous now that she obviously looked more like royalty? When he blushed, the princess giggled softly, finding that cute. But then her giggle was halted by his quick response, saying that they didn’t have time for this and that the King demanded for her presence. A frown made its way onto her now pink glossed lips, hands going to her hips. “Do you always take the fun out of everything? He also did say that I had to change my clothes, it is not my fault that the maids were slow.” She snapped, before quickly following after Qorvus as he started to walk away from her.

“You know, Qorvus, you should really be thanking me right now, not trying to run away from me or get rid of me. I did you a favour.” Myria said softly as she followed him down the corridors. “Or perhaps my attempt at trying to help didn’t work… But I deserve something from you, not just an order about the King.” She felt a little hurt that he seemed to not want to comment on how she looked. Though, the blush that he displayed that she quickly caught before her turned away from her said more than enough. She just wanted to hear it in his own words. “But fine. You don’t have to say anything, I suppose it was foolish of me to expect.”

With that, the princess stayed quiet until they reached the dining room, the pair of them being ushered in to meet the King. Like any well brought up noble would do, Myria bowed slightly at the sight of the King. “Your Majesty.” She greeted him before straightening herself back up. “I hope you do not mind that I had my bodyguard escort me here. The other guards were quite rude, I despised them.” She flat out told him, a frown adorning her pretty face.

((Whoo 8D Yes, we totally do rule *highfives* Sorry it took me so long to get this up XP And really? It was in September? It definitely does feel like long than that, LoL. Oh well ^^’ ))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyWed Jan 12, 2011 9:58 pm

Cleshire sighed heavily, as she made her way through the castle grounds. She was the head of army here, so she had quite a bit of a status around. Her room was located in the main building of the castle, the same place where the King's room and the Princess's room were at. It was a great honor to be living under the same roof as the royalty, especially since that she wasn't born a human herself, but a transformed animal. Usually, humans had higher statuses than they do, but she was one of the few who fought her way up high. And she was grateful to the King as well, for he provided her to chance to even do what she was best at. If she were to be in some other kingdoms, they probably won't even have the chance to speak out. Not every kingdom viewed the transformed animals as equals, especially after what happened in Israyra so many years ago.

When she entered the main building, servants could be seen running around, as if they were busy with something. Cleshire had a mild frown, but seeing as how busy they were, she decided not to intervene to satisfy her own curiosity. She made her way back to her room, which was at the second floor, whereas the King's and Princess's rooms were at the third. Entering her room, she noted the comfortable bed and had a strong urge to toss herself on it. But self-discipline stopped her from doing so and she decided to just have a seat. However, before she could even reach the bed, there was a knock on the door.

"Miss Cleshire? His Highness will be having a feast in about 15 more minutes. He asked for your presence at the dining table by 10 minutes. I apologize for the short notice, but I couldn't find you anywhere else just now."

The voice of a young servant echoed from the back of the door. Cleshire had halted her footsteps to listen to her, but sighed heavily as she finally sat down on her bed. Another feast? What was the King thinking? And here Cleshire would have thought that she'd be able to rest a bit. Opening up portals wasn't an easy task, and she even spent hours monitoring Kaila's performance with the bow and arrows. "What was the dinner for, if I may ask?" Cleshire raised her voice a bit so that the servant could hear her.

"I hear it's about Master Coren and his helper. His Highness wanted to show his gratitudes..." And her voice trailed off, only to be overwhelmed by a new voice. Seemed like the young servant was needed elsewhere. "I apologize but I shall take my leave now." The servant said, and Cleshire could feel her giving a bow before she turned to leave. Cleshire sighed heavily. Of course, the King was probably delighted that Coren was finally going to get his Princess back once and for all. And then there's Kaila. How was she supposed to get her rest before the next training session later?

However, further complaints couldn't be heard by anyone else so Cleshire thought she should just go get a change of clothes and prepare herself. Only 10 minutes was given to her to get herself ready.

She had chosen a white dress that goes until her ankles. Dinner or not, it was a feast with the King and they had to dress up pretty formally as a respect. Since she still had time, she decided to sit down in front of her mirror and combed her long white hair with black stripes. A thought occurred to her that maybe she could tie them up, just to be tidy, and so she did, into a long ponytail.

When she was done, she turned to leave the room, and to the dining room, which was, fortunately, as the same building as well, and just one floor beneath her. When she was standing outside the doors to the dining room, There was a couple of servants who had pushed the door opened for her. She walked in with her head held high, but was mildly surprised to find only Kaila inside the room. She sighed lowly, and was brought by the butler to be seated...beside Kaila.

She was reluctant to do so at first, but just then, the King had made his arrival. Without even sitting down yet, she turned to the King and bowed at him with her utmost respect. "Thank you for the invitation to such a grand feast, Your Majesty. I am honored to be able to be in this very room to have dinner with Your Majesty." She said, and expected Kaila to do the same.

When she stood back up, she turned around to see if Coren was anywhere nearby, but no signs of him yet. Where could he be? And to be seated beside Kaila! What annoyance it was to her.

---

Myria's words had left a blush on his face. But she probably didn't notice it as she was pulled away right after her words left her lips. But just on the safe side, he turned away to hide it. Of course Qorvus would be here when she was done. He had to be, as her bodyguard. But if little, it made him feel slightly good that she demanded for him to wait. He leaned himself against the wall. At least now he had some time alone, after so long of chasing and fighting with Coren. He wondered what he should do next, now that he had capture the Princess with him back to Israyra. The King had not yet acknowledged him, and neither did the other guards. So what was Qorvus to do now? He had no goals whatsoever, and it suddenly made him feel lost.

As he snapped out of his thoughts, he noticed how long it was to take the Princess to get dressed. He was starting to feel a little bit tired, so he sat down on the cold, hard ground as he waited. He waited for what he suspected would be at least an hour, but it was probably something shorter than that, before the door was opened again. Out of instinct, he quickly pushed himself up from the ground and turned up to greet the Princess out of the dressing room.

But what he saw behind the door was the real Princess. For the first time, he actually viewed her as a true Princess. She was astounding, striking, and definitely attractive. He stood there, stunned for a moment, before his fingers started twitching as he snapped himself back to reality.

"Oh, uh, Princess, well..." He found himself at a loss of words. But as she spinned around by the door, he couldn't help but blush, this time, it was too obvious. "Princess, we have no time for this! The King demanded for your presence, and it took way too long for you to get dressed up! So we should head there at once!" He said, turning away and was hoping that she would follow suit and just leave to the dining room without asking him to comment on how she looked like again. In fact, he was even too embarrassed to look at her.

(YUSH! THIS IS REVIVED! WE RULE. :3 Oh, by the way, I was really surprised to see that we last replied to this RP around September 2010. Felt longer than that. :X)

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyWed Jan 12, 2011 9:01 pm

Kaila stood there and stared at Cleshire as she answered her, telling her that her training was over for now. Brushed a hand through her hair, the young girl gave a sigh of relief. Hearing those words come out of Cleshire’s mouth felt like a blessing and was exactly what she wanted to hear, even though she didn’t expect it. Though her head dropped slightly and nodded when she heard that her training would resume at two in the morning. Of course, she really didn’t have much time. She was lucky that CLeshire was even letting her sleep a little tonight. Getting up at 2 in the morning for training was better than going for the whole night. Her blue eyes looked towards the tiger woman as her back turned towards her and she began to leave.

“Thank you… Cleshire.” Kaila called to her, after hearing Cleshire mentioned that she wanted this area to be perfect by the time she came back for the next training session. Even though she knew that this woman didn’t like her, Kaila felt inclined to thank her. She was still doing so much for her even though she probably resented it. Once Cleshire had left completely, Kaila turned towards where she had been practicing. Her body ached all over and she was about ready to collapse. But she wanted to have as much sleep as possible before her next training session so she got to work on cleaning up the place before going to the room that had been assigned for her to stay in.

Kaila flopped herself onto the soft bed in the room that she had been shown to, letting her body relax. She had just gotten here after cleaning up the field, which took a good forty-five minutes. Though, not even thirty seconds after Kaila had started to relax, there was a knock on her door and a voice instructing her that dinner was about to be served and that she was allowed to attend if she pleased. Rolling over onto her back, the young girl sighed and stared at the ceiling. She heard the voice tell her that they were coming in before the door opened and revealed a young maid. The maid hurried over to Kaila before pulling her up off of the bed and standing the girl upright, almost like a giant sized doll. Seemed like she didn’t have a choice but to attend dinner. She was rather hungry.

However, a large blush spread across her face as the maid started to remove her shirt. “What’re you doing?” Kaila squealed, pulling her shirt back down, embarrassed. “You cannot attend dinner in those clothes. We have to get you changed.” The maid told her before resuming. Kaila sighed and looked down at herself once her outer clothes were removed, leaving her in her undergarments. Her eyes danced across the various scars that she had from years of abuse form her parents. She quickly looked away, feeling a little ashamed as the maid slipped something nicer onto the young girl. It was a mid-length light pink dressed that lightly flowed around her knees. It was slightly more fitted towards the top, held on by spaghetti straps over her shoulders. The maid quickly ran a brushed through Kaila’s hair and promptly started pinning it up nicely after realising that it was a mess from training. The maid placed Kaila in front of a full length mirror and smiled. “My, you look beautiful enough to be a princess.” The maid giggled, letting the young girl look at herself for a few moments.

Kaila blinked a few times, looking at herself in the mirror. She almost didn’t recognize the girl looking back at her. She looked… So different dressed up all nice like this. She had never really worn anything or did her hair like this or even looked like this in general before. Though, she didn’t have long to look at herself as the maid was quickly rushing her out of the door and leading her towards the dining hall before they were late. When they made it, the maid smiled and nodded to Kaila before pushing her lightly into the dining hall before butler’s showed her to her seat, which she hoped would be near Coren. Kaila was feeling rather nervous and self-conscious by the point, she wanted to be near someone that she actually knew.

--

Myria frowned more, her eyes rolling before she looked at the guard who talked back to her. “Excuse me?” She asked, raising an unimpressed eyebrow at the guard. “How dare you! Are you saying that my bodyguard, Qorvus, is incapable of doing that himself? Have you no manners? Who taught you to talk back to royalty.” She growled, tilting her head a little so that she could look down her nose at him disapprovingly. “Even though I am somewhat of a hostage, I am still a princess and I expect to be treated like one properly while I am here. I am not to be treating like some peasant wife that you can talk back to.” Her snobbish personality was definitely showing with these guards. She didn’t like them, the only person that she remotely liked here was Qorvus, and that’s because they had talked previously.

Her eyes travelled over to the crow, making eye contact with him momentarily before he looked away from her and nodded his head. As he started leading the way, Myria followed close behind him, eying the guard as she walked past before turning her head and walking with perfect posture, as a princess should and was taught to. Once they were out of the way of the guards at her door, the princess looked at Qorvus and wondered why the silence between them was so… Awkward. She wasn’t sure what to say to him and she was sure that he was probably in the same boat as her. She was just trying to do him a favour, she wanted him to be respected a little bit more since it sickened her the way he slightly mentioned that they did.

Once they made it to the door of the dressing room, Myria’s frown softened a little as she turned towards Qorvus. “Thank you, Qorvus.”She said gently, turning towards the door as a few maid’s opened it to hurry her inside. She looked over her shoulder at the crow and sighed a little. “Well… You better still be here when I get out. And tell me the honest truth of how I look, I want your opinion.” She smirked before she was pulled gently into the room, door closing behind her.

Myria didn’t even know how long it took the maid’s to wash her, dry her, dress her and do her hair but it seemed like far too long. She was getting anxious, a little nervous and her corset was on too tight. “Loosen it.” She muttered, pointing towards it before the maid’s hurried at her command. She was thinking about Qorvus and hoping that she didn’t offend him by what she did. Perhaps her doing that would just cause him more trouble. She was only trying to help but she had never really… Helped anyone with anything before. She didn’t really know how.

Soon enough, the princess was fully dressed in a long gown that bustled at the back. The colours were slightly darker than she would have liked but this seemed to be the only dress they had laid out for her. It was navy blue with gold accents on the top of the dress where the corset part was. It looked like it was slightly reminiscent of an older way of dress but it still looked modern for their time, definitely a dress fit for a princess. Her hair has been curled and fell lightly over her bare shoulder, the dress being strapless. Myria turned towards the door as the maid’s opened it and she stepped out, the heels she was wearing clicked on the floor.

The princess smiled lightly, seeing Qoruvs there before spinning around to show him the dress. “What do you think?

((I love this new picture, I think I mentioned that when you first made it x3 I love the pictures you used for Kaila and Myria Very Happy I hope you don’t mind me making the dinner a slightly formal-ish thing. Seemed like that’s what a dinner in a castle would be like, always nicely dressed. I hope that’s fine with you ^^’ Oh, and I hope you liked what I did with Myria x3 She didn’t seem snobby princess enough yet so I wanted to bring a little of that in finally, LoL. Finally replied ;D Sorry it took so long >.< ! I hope it's alright))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] 4970591431_6be6c280cf_z

[ New image lol. xD Not as nice as the previous one, but at least this one had complete characters. Plus, I changed Myria and Kaila's pictures for this one. Sadly enough, my characters are just so rare in pictures. D: ]

Cleshire scorned silently to herself when Kaila attempted to regain her confidence before continuing her practice. Cleshire's practices were never easy to handle. Not even the strongest of fighters could complete her orders without panting. She was strict as a trainer, but now to Kaila, she would be even worse. She wouldn't spare her. If there was a time for her to prove and show everyone that Kaila was never suitted to fit in their world, it was this time. Even though Coren might not be here right now, she knew news would travel to him fast if Kaila was too weak to aid him in his search.

With everything in mind, she tossed herself on the chair and sighed lowly. Travelling through portals wasn't really an easy thing to do. Plus, it was her first time stepping through the portal to another dimension, one would have to take time to overcome that exhaustion. Her eyes then rested on Kaila as she began her practice. Kaila should have felt even more exhausted. Yet, she was still standing in the middle of the field, attempting to be good at something she just started doing. Why was she able to maintain her strength at that point? Unless she used to be from this dimension, there was no way for her to be able to overcome that exhaustion. No way.

However, when Kaila's attempted missed the bullseye, Cleshire found it difficult to wipe that faint smile off her face. It was natural for her to be happy to see someone she disliked so much failing at something she was good at. She would expect Kaila to also turn back to her and beg her to release her from this hell of a training. Kaila was jsut a normal girl, she couldn't do the things the people in this dimension do.

Before Cleshire even knew it, hours had passed, but not a minute was her mind empty. She had lots of thoughts roaming around, mostly about the possible war that might occur between Atylia and Israyra. Israyra took the princess for a reason, and it was to use her power to gain control of the planet. Atylia had two disadvantages at this point: the inferiority of strength against Israyra now that the princess was at their hands, and the fact that they could use the princess as hostage anytime they want. The King had loved his daughter dearly, it would be impossible for him to forsake his daughter for the sake of the country.

All those thoughts racing across her mind had kept her attention away from Kaila's progress. Although her eyes were kept locked on Kaila whole day long, she didn't notice at all when Kaila had finished her training. Her eyes acted by instinct and travelled over to the bullseye, and she noticed how many arrows there were on the ground around the bullseye. Kaila had done a lot. And she was impressive not by the fact of the skill of her archery, because that still needs training, but by the fact that her will was strong, for a weak girl such as herself. No matter how much Cleshire would like to continue to torment her, Kaila deserved a rest. A long one.

She pushed herself up from the chair, with her eyes closed, as she took a long deep breath. "The training stops her for now. Take your rest. However, seeing as you only have minimal time to complete your training, we'll begin the next training session at 2 in the morning. Get here before that or you'll never have to train anymore." With that, Cleshire turned away. "Oh and, clean up the place. Pick up and reuse the arrows that are still in shape. Throw away those that aren't. I except this field to be free of any traces of archery when I come for the next session." As her words echoed to Kaila, her footsteps began to move. She headed back into the castle, as dinner was almost time.

---

Qorvus paid no heed to the guard. Sure, he was annoyed that he was ignored as usual, but it was something he should learn to tolerate with. No one in this castle was ever going to look at him straight in the eye, and no one was ever going to acknowledge him, ever. It was something he grew up with, and it was something he tried ever so hard to accept.

But something the princess had said pricked his attention, and for the first time, the guard actually turned to look at him. The princess actually...demanded for Qorvus to escort her? Well, he was her bodyguard but still... Someone actually asked for him rather than himself trying to get to that person? He turned back to eye the princess, mostly with shock. He felt rather light-hearted, something he hadn't felt in such a long time. It was the sense of happiness, but it was something he didn't want to express at all.

"But... Princess, the King asked for me to escort you!" The guard said in slight panic, knowing the consequences of defying the King's orders. "Plus... The princess should also get a change of clothes before meeting the King... I was ordered to bring you to the dressing room so that the servants could attend to your outfit." The guard was silently praying so that the princess would not continue to trouble him. But when the princess was already right in front of him and calling for Qorvus to escort her now, the guard had no choice but to give way.

Qorvus looked directly at the princess, but as soon as they made eye contact, he turned away, and nodded his head. He took the lead by taking his first step, passing through the guard who was obviously glaring at him for stealing his job away. Qorvus felt a sense of achievement at that, but he knew it wouldn't last long. The King wouldn't be happy either.

As they walked along the corridor, the silence between them was awkward. Qorvus couldn't possibly start a conversation with the princess either. But as soon as they reached the door of the dressing room, Qorvus released a low sigh of relief. At least for now, the awkwardness will leave him alone, though not for long. "The King requested for your best looks tonight." He said lowly, not looking at her at all. He just wanted her to enter the room without saying anything to make him feel ambarressed anymore.

[ Nyom. Took me a loooooong time to reply this, cause I suck at roleplaying once again. xD But YAY! IT'S BACK! I shall reply to the Alice one tomorrow cause it's so late here now. T_T Sorry~ ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyTue Sep 07, 2010 10:05 pm

Kaila stood there, bow in one hand, staring dumbfounded at the arrow on the target. Was that really her that did that? Taking a quick look around to make sure that no one else could have shot that arrow, the young girl’s jaw dropped. She had never even picked up anything close to a bow before so how… How could she have possibly hit that mark? Though once the actual fact that she hit it sunk in, a huge smile spread across Kaila’s lips as she turned to Coren. “Look! Look Coren! I did it! I actually hit it straight on!” She said ecstatically, seeing the surprised look on the feline male’s face. She was sure that even he didn’t think she was possibly going to hit it.

She laughed as Coren grinned, saying how she did it, how no one would have thought someone like her could do it. Suddenly her grin faded and she gave a fake pout to Coren. “Hey! What’s that supposed to mean!” Kaila grinned afterwards sticking out her tongue playfully at Coren. She knew that he was probably mostly joking but it was a true fact. No one would have been able to look at Kaila and figure that a girl like her could do something like that. Not a girl who was physically inept, was never good at gym class, never touched an arrow before and someone who was just a regular human girl.

Looking towards Cleshire when Coren turned to her finally, Kaila’s smile faded and she felt a heaviness in her stomach. Cleshire did not look pleased that she actually hit it. Cleshire didn’t seem pleased that Kaila was here at all. And the young female kind of felt bad about that. She could tell that Cleshire had feelings for Coren, could tell that she wanted to go on this mission with Coren but Kaila couldn’t stop now. Not here, not now. When Cleshire instructed for Kaila to follow her, Kaila glanced at Coren before following her.

Following Cleshire to the next targets, Kaila’s eyes widened at how fast Cleshire was at firing the arrow. When she explained what Kaila had to do, her eyes widened. “I have to get that many bullseyes?”She muttered to herself, her eyes following Cleshire as she went to go sit down. “I’m not giving up by the way!” She called over to the other woman. “I can’t!”

Kaila could feel herself getting stronger as a person because of this whole experience. Hopefully, she would get stronger physically in a day in order to help Coren rescue the princess. Reaching down towards the arrows, Kaila grabbed one, mounted it, and aimed. “I have to do this. I can’t give up.” She told herself before firing it. Miss. Fired another one, hit but not a bullseye. “This is going to be harder than I thought.” She told herself before continuing.

It took her multiple bunches of arrows and at least an hour or two later before she finally got the hang of it somewhat… Just 5 bullseyes left. Kaila sighed to herself, wiping off a little bit of sweat from her forehead. She had never done this much physical activity for a long period of time and it was really starting to weigh down on her. It felt like she almost couldn’t lift her arms anymore, her shoulders felt heavy and her elbows felt like they were going to fall off. “Just… Just 5 more.” She told herself, shutting her eyes tightly as she grabbed another arrow, lifted it to her bow quickly, opened her eyes and shot another bullseye.

Falling onto her knees and letting go of the bow, Kaila relaxed her shoulders, finally finished doing what Cleshire told her to. But this wasn’t over. Kaila almost felt like quitting, she almost couldn’t bare the pain that this was causing her. But then she thought of Coren and the princess. She had to keep going. She had to keep doing this… For him. She stood up onto her feet, the bow clenched in her fist before turning to Cleshire.

“I’m finished. What’s next?”

--

Myria was a little taken back when he snapped at her, starting to ask why he would feel shy. But he stopped himself for some reason. Perhaps he was thinking about it? Or perhaps he didn’t feel the need to explain himself to a prisoner. But then she noticed that he looked sad after her pile of questions and then mentioned that he was born different. He was born cursed. Suddenly the princess’ words stopped flowing out of her perfectly plump lips (perfectly plump in her opinion, of course). The way that Qorvus looked, the way he sighed. How would this man be born differently than the others? How was he cursed? Her kidnapper made her ask so many questions, and she was curious. She was also not used to not getting answers to her questions.

She was about to ask him what he meant when the raven stood up quickly, alarming the young woman, and avoiding eye contact with the princess. “What are you doing? Are you leaving? Don’t leave me.” She said, but not in a pleading way. It was more of a curious demand that he stay and let her ask him more questions. But before either of them could say anything else, someone knocked on the door. Of course Qorvus was over there in a blink of an eye, revealing the image of another guard. But he wasn’t addressing Qorvus, he didn’t even look at the raven at all. He was looking directly at Myria.

The princess stood up at the news, hearing that the King has requested her presence. Looking towards Qorvus and then back at the guard, she took a small step back, her heart pounding in her chest. She didn’t want to see anyone right now. Sure, the King seemed nice enough but he did order her to be kidnapped, he was the one who ultimately made her get sent to that disgusting excuse for a world with the humans. “I’m sure I’m not in a position to say no, am I?” She stated snobbishly, crossing her arms. “I would like my bodyguard to escort me though. None of you other good for nothings can even touch me. The thought disgusts me.” Myria frowned, turning her head to the side and tipping her nose in the air. “So, if this is not actually a request but a demand from the King, I suppose we should get a move on.” Myria walked over to Qorvus and stood beside him.

“Let’s go then. Chop chop mister.”

((Alice-chaaannnn, I hope this post was okay D: I had a little fun with Myria because I remember us saying that she’s supposed to be snobby and a spoiled brat so.. Yeah. I had fun, LoL. But I hope you liked it!))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] 4314057374_2ae619068d_o

Cleshire told herself repeatedly, deep in her heart and mind, that Kaila will never get the arrow onto the bullseye. She'll miss, and Cleshire can just persuade everyone to send her back. Then she'll be on the journey with Coren. Yes, that's what she kept on telling herself. But the thought of travelling alone with Coren made her blush. No! No. It's not for any reasons. But Cleshire was definitely a much more reliable person than Kaila. That is all. Yes.

...but, why was it that all of her thoughts seemed so far-fetched? Her instinct told her something else. Her intuition told her that Kaila's going to hit the bullseye. And she hated herself for believing that.

And before she could gather and arrange her thoughts, the sounds of the bow being released traveled to her feline ears. She turned over to Kaila, only to hear her saying things like not getting ready yet. But, acted by instincts again, Cleshire turned her head to the other side, and revealed not an surprised look, but a rather disappointed one. Kaila had hit it. She had hit the bullseye. She bit her lower lip, and turned to Coren next.

Coren had on his face both a surprised look, and a happy one. He turned to Kaila, without even casting one look at Cleshire. "Wow. You actually did it! Who would have thought that someone like you can actually do that." He said, grinning. After that, he finally turned over to Cleshire, who was now lost in thoughts. "Hey, Cleshire. So, you're going to teach her right?"

Cleshire glanced over at Kaila, and turned away immediately.

"Follow me."

She said, walking to one side to pick up a new bow and one arrow. Next, she walked steadily over to the center of the field. She took up her bow, and aimed before releasing the arrow. When Kaila was finally beside her, Cleshire pointed at the bullseye. "See that? You're standing not more than 10 feet from the bullseye now. So, get the arrow to the very center of the bullseye. If not, shoot until you get it." Cleshire said rather coldly, as she carried the pack of arrows from behind over to Kaila. "Once your arrows are finished, go collect the ones over there and shoot again, until you get at least 20 arrows which got to the center of the bullseye."

"This isn't your only training. You have more to come. And you only have one day to do them all. If you're interested in giving up, let me know anytime." She said, walking away from the field and sitting down on one of the golden benches by the side of the field.

Coren looked at how Cleshire was talking to Kaila, though rather coldly, he merely smiled. He turned and headed back to the castle as well, not intending to let anyone of the two notice him. He needed some practice too, and to practise magic, there could only be one place he can go to.

---

Qorvus obviously was at a lost of words. He didn't even know why he was embarressed. He didn't even know why he bothered to sit down here in the princess's room! Sure, he's her bodyguard now. But he could always transform back into a raven and stand outside of her window, guarding her. At least, that way, he could be alone, so he wouldn't have to feel like this at all. However, something was stopping him. Something was preventing him from doing so.

When the princess asked if he was shy being with her, he quickly turned to her, with widened eyes. "Why should I feel sh-!" Before he could finish, he turned back again, this time, with the blush wiped off from his cheeks. Then, the princess began to throw a whole pile of questions at him. But then, though her questions were somewhat maddening, some of her words did have their own sense. Being a princess's bodyguard was actually quite an important job. Yeah, none of the guards outside could ever have this chance. It made him feel important that way. But when he noticed he was smiling, just a bit, he quickly dismissed the thought.

"No! No. No..." He shook his head, looking downwards, with a somewhat sad expression. "I was born different. Cursed." He said, sighing once. Never in the world would he thought he would share his story with someone, especially a princess. But, no. Why was he even sharing all these things with a princess? She wouldn't be interested in those stories. Everything in her world was perfect. Nothing else. He didn't want to talk about it. No. Nothing about it.

He stood up all of a sudden, probably surprising the princess a little. He wanted to leave the room, for only a while. He needed to rearrange his emotions, his thoughts, everything. Then, suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Qorvus took the lead by heading over to the door and opened it. One of the guards stood on the other side of the door. "His Majesty requested for your presence, Lady Myria." The guard had ignored Qorvus's presence, and passed the message right ahead towards Myria.

[ D: I thought the whole post suck. T_T Sorry, Mikky-chan! But yes, I still love the picture a lot. <3 ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySun Jan 24, 2010 10:43 pm

Kaila felt a little hurt, like a knife had been stabbed into her chest as soon as Cleshire automatically said that if it was about training her, then her answer was no. She didn’t even stop to think about it for a second, it was automatically a no. It wasn’t fair that she was hated like this by Cleshire. She could sort of guess why she would be but it definitely wasn’t fair. Though, it really wasn’t her place to feel like this. Just as Cleshire didn’t know Kaila, Kaila didn’t know Cleshire. There was obviously some inner emotions fueling the tiger woman to act out towards Kaila like this. And she could sort of see what it was. Just in the way that she looked at Coren. They were best friends, had been for a while now she guessed. And maybe friendship wasn’t all that Cleshire felt for Coren..

Looking at Cleshire and frowning for a moment when Cleshire told her that she didn’t look eager to learn, she looked a little offended when she also coldly told her that maybe she would learn a good lesson, that she didn’t belong here. It took a lot for Kaila to not just fall onto her knee’s and cry at this point. It was true that she didn’t belong here and she was beginning to feel that more and more. But she couldn’t let this woman see her weakness, she didn’t want to seem weak in front of her or Coren. She opened her mouth to give Cleshire a piece of her mind but stopped suddenly as Coren promised to do anything for the tiger woman if she helped train Kaila.

From that point on, Kaila wasn’t sure what to think of the events happening in front of her. It all happened... So fast. Blinking in surprise, the young girl was unsure of whether or not she should be laughing, or getting angry at Cleshire, or worrying about Coren. All of these emotions were mixed inside of her head. Coren had made Cleshire look at him, Kaila could tell that she felt embaressed and then all of a sudden Cleshire punched him. Though, as they started squabbling, Kaila looked to the side and giggled a little to herself. They were perfect together, and she could see how they had been friends for a long time. It was funny to see and sort of made Kaila happy, even though she didn’t have any friends like that. Just the fact that she got to see something like that happen made her happy.

It wasn’t very pleasant when Cleshire started going off about how Coren only came to her now when he wanted something, which made Kaila’s smile turn into a small frown. This girl... She was hurting. Coren was her best friend, she probably loved him as a friend and even more and he only came her to when he needed something. Anyone, especially a woman, would feel terrible if someone did that to them. And she could tell that Cleshire was hurting because of that. If only Cleshire didn’t hate her so much, then Kaila would have offered her a chance to talk, to let it all out. But, that would have to wait.

When Cleshire suddenly said that she would teach her, Kaila felt overjoyed.
Finally, something was starting to go right. Except for when she added that Kaila would have to hit anywhere in the bullseye and if she didn’t, then she wouldn’t teach. Chocolate brown orbs widened as she looked from the bow, to Cleshire, and then to Coren. “B... But I’ve never shot an arrow before.”She stuttered before clumsily taking the bow from Cleshire. She looked down at it, to the target and then closed her eyes, taking a deep breath.

Kaila’s eyes opened once again, her hands trembling as she took an arrow and stepped up to the spot where she had to shoot from. She could do this, she had to do this. She was nervous, scared really, but she had to do this. For herself, and for Coren. The young girl mounted the arrow on the bow clumsily, the arrow falling out of her hands a few times before she finally got it right. Kaila lifted the bow, drew back the string and started aiming. “Oh god, please let me hit the bullseye. Please.”She said, closing her eyes tightly. But suddenly, her fingers slipped and the arrow went flying. Her eyes snapped open and she could have sworn that her heart stopped for that moment. She wasn’t ready! No! This couldn’t be happening. “I’m sorry! I wasn’t ready! I-“She started before looking at the target to see if she hit it.

Almost a perfect bullseye.

--

Myria blinked a few times as Qorvus shook his head when she said that he was interesting. And... Was that a blush on her cheeks? A sly smirk made it’s way onto the Princess’ lips and she lifted her hand to poke him in the cheek. However, something stopped her. It was when the Raven suddenly turned to her and told her his name. Qorvus... He wanted her to call him Qorvus, not Raven. For some reason, when he did this, she felt surprised and somewhat... Relieved. This obviously wasn’t what being kidnapped and kept from your home and the person you loved should feel like. She wanted to feel angry, she wanted to act out, she wanted to cry... Or did she?

It was the strangest feeling. She was genuinely interested in Qorvus. He seemed like such a down fellow, so blue and depressed. Everyone here seemed to look down upon him and, even though Myria looked down on a lot of people herself, she didn’t feel that was fair. Myria could feel that she had changed a little when she had been sent to Earth. She used to be spoiled, get whatever she wanted and do whatever she wanted. She used to say and do things without thinking of other people, just to make herself feel happy. Maybe she had matured since then? She wasn’t sure what it was. But... The thought sort of made a small smile come to her face. Maybe her father would be proud of her change when she saw him again... If she ever saw him again.

“Qorvus.” She repeated him, thinking for a moment. “That’s a nice name.”Myria said before laughing a little and poking his cheek. “Well, Qorvus, you seem to be blushing. Are you nervous around me? Embarrassed?” She asked him, smirking playfully. She might as well have some fun with him while they were here together. Might as well make the best of the situation.

“And are you ever going to tell me why you think you’re so unimportant? Did the people here drill that into your skull? Honestly, in my opinion, I think the gaurds outside the door are more unimportant than you. I mean, how often does one get to spend alone, quality time with a princess? Especially a princess like me? They’re just... Silly men following orders, blending in with the crowd while you’re in here, chatting with royalty. How does that not seem important to you?”

((Alice-chan! D: I’m so so so so so sorry this took me so long to reply >.< I feel so bad! But hopefully you like it ^^’ And I love the chibi moment, LoL. They make me giggle with joy =D ))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyMon Dec 28, 2009 10:39 am

Coren wasn't even sure what he was going to do. Cleshire was not someone you should approach when she's mad of you. But at this point, Coren could find no better ways to make up to her again. Cleshire can be very stubborn, and hardheaded. She wouldn't surrender herself and say sorry to you, unless you do that first. And usually when they were arguing, Coren ended up saying sorry even though most of the time Cleshire was the one who got angry first. But then again, Coren was always the one sounding sarcastic that made her angry, so maybe apologizing was what he should do. Even now, maybe bringing Kaila here really wasn't a good idea, but Coren didn't doubt bringing her here was bad at all. Although Kaila wasn't supposed to be here, Coren didn't regret bringing her here, except the fact that she might get injured, but he figured that he should just protect her whenever she was in danger. And, having to be able to spend more time with her was...great.

He started to approach her slowly. Halfway through, she had already noticed the two of them and turned to look at them. She had that 'oh-god-what-is-it-now' look on her face, but as her childhood friend, Coren knew exactly what he should do to make her feel better. When he was near enough to speak to her, she grinned and brought his hand up in the air, about to greet his friend. But before words exited his lips, Cleshire spoke first. "If it's about training Kaila, forget about it." She said, taking up another arrow and adjusted it to the bow, aiming at the bullseye and releasing it again. Coren sweatdropped, but he didn't intend to give up. "Oh, come on, tiger! You know how important this is to the kingdom!"

Cleshire looked downwards and closed her eyes, sighing softly before turning up to Kaila. She looked at her eyes for sometime, without any hint of withdrawing her anger. "You don't seem too eager to learn. Besides, it might be a good lesson for you to know that this dimension is not your place." Cleshire said coldly, turning back forward with another arrow in her hand. Coren sighed, and tried to think of another way. "Alright, I'll promise to do anything for you if you train Kaila. I don't want Kaila to go on a dangerous journey with me without being at least prepared for something." Coren said, grabbing Cleshire's hand that was holding the bow and pulled her to look at him. It was the only way he could get her attention now.

But, Cleshire blushed at the moment she felt his warmth on her hand. When she was looking straight at him, with his face near to hers, she felt even more embarrassed. And it was until a point that her embarrassment made her do thing irrationally. She brought up her fist and actually punched Coren away from her face, closing her eyes tight in the process.

Coren, on the other hand, was oblivious to what was going to happen. And when he felt pain on his cheek, he was already lying on the grass. "What the hell did you do that for?!" He yelled as he stood up, standing in front of Cleshire. "You are annoying, that's what!" She yelled back, with the blush still on her face. [Yes, another chibi moment. xD] "Everytime you just come to me whenever you need it and turn away whenever you don't! You know how bad it makes me feel?! You never even thought about how I felt ever before!" Cleshire yelled, but quickly stopped and stared blankly at the shocked Coren, before blushing and turning away again.

"...fine. I'll teach her. But unless she could actually shoot, I will not teach her." She said, attempting to change the subject in case Coren decided to bring up about what she had said. She took the bow in her hands and passed it to Kaila. "Shoot. And if you hit outside of the bullseye, I'm not teaching." She said sternly, with the blush was still leaving it's footprints on her cheeks.

---

Qorvus was surprised that the Princess actually denied what he said about himself. And she even came down from the beautiful and comfortable to sit beside him on the cold, hard ground! How could a princess, someone so highly respected and elegant be doing this with someone like him? He wasn't nothing? No, that's not what the other people had said to him. He was nothing! He is nothing! He wanted to grab the princess by her neck and tell her that, but he couldn't. No, it was that, something was pulling him back, not wanting to let him do it. He...he wanted to talk to her more, now. He wanted...her to know about him. And...for him to know about her...

Shaking his head, he blushed when she said he was interesting...and emotional. Proofs that he was nothing? He wished he didn't have to say it. What if he said it and was shunned even by the princess now? She was the only one now who would be interested in him, and said he wasn't nothing. She was the first one to be sitting down beside him, on the same level as him. She was the only one who...would talk to him this much.

He began to think about how his mother had treated him, how everyone around him had thought of him. No one, ever in his life, no one would even be kind enough to show him even the tiniest bit of love. He was an outcast the moment he was born, shunned by everyone else. And for a royalty of the other kingdom, heck, for the person he kidnapped to be getting close to him and showing him the warmth he had never felt before, it was all so ironic. And when she called him Raven, automatically he turned to her and said, "Qorvus." But when he noticed what he was doing, he quickly turned back again, feeling shy and awkward as he was reminded of the princess's presence beside him.

[ I'll skip to make Qorvus a shy fool. xD I was gonna make him stay an angry raven for some time at first, but I guessed that that wouldn't give him anything to write. x3 And yes, I can find no other way for me to show that Cleshire and Coren were actually very close friends, other than those chibi moments. xD ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyMon Dec 28, 2009 12:23 am

Being scared, uptight and nervous was the last thing that she wanted to be right now. Kaila just wanted to be herself and she found that when Coren was sarcastic and joking with her, like his normal self, she could accomplish just that. Being herself. Even though she had a lot of worries about this new stage in her life and this new world that she was plunged into, all of those didn’t seem to matter since Coren was here. After all, it was his “punishment” to protect her with his life. Though, she did want to help with that so that he wasn’t completely worried with protecting her when they left for Israyra tomorrow morning. Which was why she was wondering what she was going to be doing to be less of a burden on him. However, the thought of Coren being there protected her made her happy as well. It was almost like she was a princess for a day.

Suddenly, at just that thought though, a weird feeling coursed through her entire body which caused her to stop walking for a moment. That was... Strange, Kaila thought to herself as she ran her hand through her hair and then continued walking with Coren so that he wouldn’t really notice what had just happened. Just that one thought made her feel extremely strange. Odd. Maybe it was just because she had never thought of being a princess before in her life since her whole life had been far from a fairy tale. That was probably it. Maybe it was a feeling of joy that washed over her. Finally, she was going to be somewhere where she could be happy.

As Coren answered her, Kaila blinked a few times in surprised. “Training? Like... Like fighting training?” She asked, obviously with shock and surprise in every word. Kaila had never thought of herself as being the fighting type for real. Sure, she had imagined it before in her dreams of taking down the people that bullied her but to actually fight people? She quickly followed him down the corridors and listened as Coren verbally debated with himself what would be good for her.

Magic? No, she was still just a human after all. Sword fighting? Kaila stopped walking when Coren did and blinked a few times as he looked at her and concluded that he couldn’t see her carrying a heavy sword. She laughed a little bit, finding it cute and amusing how he was trying to figure all of this in himself, not letting Kaila have a word in otherwise.

It was then, however, when the guards bowed their heads to Coren as a sign of respect, did Kaila fully realise just how important Coren was here. He seemed to be well respected and was a higher rank then the guards who bowed their heads and addressed him as ‘Sir Coren’. Having a job to protect the princess and be her body guard must have been some special job. Kaila hadn’t fully grasped the idea until just now though. Made her feel a little insignificant, in a way, but also proud. She knew someone who was well liked and respected and of a high rank in society, but she was just an almost poor, abused human girl. Maybe Coren shouldn’t even be this casual with her, and vice versa.

Kaila tried not to think of that right at this moment though, as Coren finally decided that archery would best suit her. “Me? Handling a bow and arrow? We’ll see, Coren.”She laughed a little. Sure, he made it sound simple to do but she wasn’t quite sure that she had the hand-eye coordination to pull it off. But she was going to try whatever it took to not be a burden to Coren! If it was the last thing she did. She wanted to try any way that she could to not just be a dead wait on their journey to Israyra.

“... Who’s the trainer?” Kaila asked suspiciously when Coren said that the trainer might not care to teach her, after going through so many things. After thinking that through, even though Coren told her to never mind it and then sped up his pace, Kaila had a suspicion as to who it might me. The young woman sped up her speed to keep up with Coren as they made their way to the training area for her to get train in the art of archery.

As they approached the open area, occupied by one person who seemed to be practicing, Kaila’s eyes widened. No, please. Anyone but her. Standing in the middle of the field, practicing her skills, was none other than the one person that Kaila was suspicious of being the trainer that Coren talked about. Cleshire. There was no way that the young tiger woman was going to train Kaila. She hated Kaila! The young woman stood at the edge of the open area, waiting for Coren to approach and speak with Cleshire.

--

This was another reason why she really disliked using her power when she didn’t need to. Myria watched as the Raven was jolted up and then stepped away from her. A slight look of sadness and disappointment flashed on her expression before she looked away and replaced it with another whiney pout. It wasn’t until after she had told him that she was too tired to snoop that he stopped being scared or nervous of her. The powers that she had... Scared people. Her family was the only ones that she knew of that had this power, which was why it was so valuable. Though, to say the truth, the princess didn’t know why someone would want to look into someone elses mind. Sure, it would be useful but what if you found something that you didn’t want to find in there? It just... Her own powers just scared her a little as well.

With a shake of her head, Myria decided that she wasn’t going to think about that anymore right now. She was too depressed already, being locked up here with an anti-social Raven who called himself nothing. She didn’t need more on her plate to be depressed about at the moment, she had her hands full. Royal blue orbs looked in Qorvus’s direction, for once it was really hard for her not to just look into his mind. What was he thinking, what was he feeling at this moment? Did he hate it? Of course he did, he got the butt end of this job that he wasn’t even praised for completing. Did he hate her? Was she talking to much? Did he really not want her to talk to him? It was so frustrating because she was so bored and this anti-social Raven was her only source of entertainment!

Back home, she would be constantly entertained so that she would never be bored. How would she survive here if he did nothing but just say short sentences to her? Myria needed him to talk to her. She didn’t even care that he was the one who kidnapped her, even though she should be trying to push him out the small barred window in this room. She just... Needed something. Though, in a way, she didn’t need anything, didn’t need just something. She wanted him to talk with her. She found herself interested in him.

“Why do you say that?” Myria asked, getting up from the bed and then sitting on the floor across from him. If he wasn’t going to sit on the bed or on the chair, then she wasn’t either. She wanted to be somewhat eye level with him when they spoke. “Why do you keep saying that you’re nothing? You are hardly a boring person. You’re actually quite interesting, beside’s being a little over emotional I think.”She said with a nod, giving him her own diagnoses. “Everything is something, Raven. No one is nothing. I do not believe that you were a mistake or born for no reason. Unless there is evidence to prove that, or if you can tell me differently, I refuse to believe it!” She said, crossing her arms stubbornly. She was getting a little tired of Qorvus calling himself nothing. It was absolute rubbish until she had some proof.

((Ha ha.Good! So you should stop saying those silly things about your post being too small or something because it’s perfect! ^^ And I think Cleshire being the trainer is a good twist XD gives her and Kaila some getting to know eachother time.))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySun Dec 27, 2009 10:43 pm

Coren smiled as well, when he heard that Kaila was about to return to her old self again. Now that Princess Myria was once again being caught away in danger, he had no choice but to face this problem calmly. There was no point in panicking. Besides, he was pretty sure that Israyra would not harm the princess, because they needed her abilities. What he needed to do now, was to bring the princess back to her rightful position, but not an abducted princess in a dangerous kingdom. With that in mind, Coren once again decided that it would be best to train Kaila a little, even just a little.

"Well, easy. By training of course." He answered Kaila, turning back forward and walking ahead, leading the way for her. Coren walked down the labyrinth of corridors as if they were nothing. Even though he had left this place for 2 years, he still grew up here, running errands everyday beside protecting the princess. Of course he wouldn't forget about these memorable corridors. "I would bring you to my trainer, but he's probably not around now. I'm not that sure, but I also don't think you should do magic, at least since you're never exposed to it before. Something physical would work. Maybe sword fighting?" He said, stopping his footsteps to turn back to Kaila.

After some thinking, he raised his eyebrows and shook his head. "Nah. Can't see you carrying a heavy sword." As he said that, he continued forward, taking sharp turns around the corner. As they walked, a number of castle guards passed by them and all of them bowed their head at the sight of Coren. "It's good to have you back again, Sir Coren." Some of them would have said that. Coren would always turn to them and smile, and greeted them back. Coren was definitely highly respected over here. Even though Cleshire's position was higher than his, but he was equally respected, all because Princess Myria had chosen him as her personal bodyguard, out of so many other choices.

"You know what? I actually think archery suits you." He said, turning back to her, but never slowing down his footsteps. "It's easy to learn, plus it's light and all you have to do is to learn how to aim. That's all." He said, and made up his mind before he even heard about Kaila's opinions. "Then, I have just the perfect trainer for you. Although I'm not sure if she would care to teach you, after going through so many things." He said, turning back ahead and thought for some time.

"Well, nevermind that. We'll see when we get there." He then sped up his footsteps, and brought Kaila to an open area. It was a big field, with a lot of bullseyes hanging about. Obviously, it was an archery training area. But what was more interesting was the person standing in the field, aiming an arrow at the bullseye. She had long white hair with black stripes at intervals. And when she let go of the arrow, it had hit the bullseye. When she finally lowered her bow, Coren approached her; approached Cleshire.

---

When the Princess actually mimicked what he had thought in his mind, he was taken aback. So, she really could read his mind?! This made Qorvus unease, and he took one step backward. But when she said she was too tired to even go read his mind, he stopped, and looked away, ashamed that he was actually scared of what a princess can do. And then, the princess laughed at what Qorvus was commenting about the guards. Her laughter somehow made him lighthearted too. Hearing someone laugh beside him, but not laugh at him was a nice feeling. Although he didn't want to admit it...

He was surprised that the princess would want to talk to him. Though, she might not know since she just came here. He was no one here. Talking to him would be a disgrace. If the princess knew about that, she wouldn't even care to look at him anymore, he was positive. But... But, somehow...he had doubted those thoughts in his mind.

"You'll bore yourself even more by talking to me. Besides, I have nothing to talk about. I am just nothing." He said, sitting down on the cold, hard floor, looking ahead with dull eyes. "Besides, even if I have something to talk about, there's nothing you would enjoy listening to."

[ I'm not going to even repeat about the length of my Qorvus part. xD I lost him, somehow. I wasn't sure how I should make him like. D: But well, I'll find it out sooner or later. xD And yes, only reason why I chose Cleshire to be the trainer is because...I am lazy to create a new character as the trainer, and it would be great to use this chance to make Cleshire think better of Kaila. xD ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySun Dec 27, 2009 1:58 am

Blinking in surprise at Coren’s answer, Kaila’s jaw almost dropped. But telling by his tone of voice, he was just joking and being sarcastic like he usually was. This made the young woman smile a little bit and laugh, rolling her eyes. “That’s not very nice, Coren! Not nice to say at all!”She said, jogging a little as he started to walk away from the throne room. He wouldn’t actually leave her behind, he was obviously joking... Right? But she wouldn’t be surprised if it was a joke. What was she going to do if they were attacked? Fight the enemies off? With what skills? She learned a little fighting skills from getting picked on at school, but she never used them. She was completely defenceless.

However, it just occurred to Kaila that they had the rest of the day to themselves to just relax, and then go to sleep to get a fresh start in the morning to start heading to Israyra. Wow... Kaila couldn’t even believe that she was here. In a land with such neat things like magic and people who were previously animals and could turned back into animals, like Coren. She was shocked before when she first saw Coren because that wasn’t something that was normal in her world. But here, it must be very normal. And she felt a little.. Alienated. She was just a normal human from Earth and she didn’t even look similar to everyone else. She looked and felt very weird.

And it just occurred to her that she might not even be accepted here. That thought had never crossed her mind until now, until she started realising how weird and awkward she felt. With Coren bringing a stranger, a human stranger from Earth to their world and dimension, it must be a very rare occurrence. So how were people going to react to her being here? Hopefully they were better than how the people back in her world were..

Then Coren suddenly stopped for a moment, so Kaila followed suit. Blinking a few times, she wondered what he was thinking about, and what he was looking at. She looked in the direction that he was looking and then saw Cleshire. Even though Cleshire didn’t like her, Kaila couldn’t help but feel a little bad for her. Coren was her friend, right? It must be hard for her to go through this, to be apart from him so often. They seemed like they would have been close friends. So even though Cleshire didn’t like her, Kaila couldn’t find a reason not to like Cleshire. She couldn’t really say that she disliked the woman, because she didn’t know her. Other then insult her a little and not like her, Kaila couldn’t find a reason to dislike Cleshire.

Looking back towards Coren as he looked towards her, Kaila rolled her eyes a little at his question. “Come on, Coren. That’s not fair to use my sad words against me. But yes. I would feel a lot better if there was something I could do to feel less like a burden to you. “She said, laughing a little nervously. The crooked smile kind of made her a little nervous though, but curious as to what he was going to get her to do. “How can I be less of a burden to you, then?”

((Okay, well, here’s the Kaila part and when you post the Qorvus part, i’ll post the Myria part ^^))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySat Dec 26, 2009 11:54 pm

Coren turned over to Kaila when she came to his side. He was a little worried about bringing Kaila with him on this journey, but he thought things would just be well. He was sure Kaila would be fine on her own. Of course, he might even teach her a little something before they leave on this journey. A skill or two might save her life, or even his, if the time comes. When she had asked him about the punishment, he merely shook his head. And when she asked about her being a burden, he smiled and turned back forward. "Don't worry, I'll just leave you behind if you were to be a burden." He said, walking faster ahead. He just thought that since the King wanted things to go this way, he might as well accept it and return to how he was before: his sarcastic side.

Once she exited the throne room, Cleshire walked the other direction from Coren and Kaila. Somehow, things never went as how she wanted things to. Although what the King said had definitely made some point, about her staying here, but she was sure that sending Kaila with Coren was never a good idea. The more she thought about it, the more angry she felt...and jealous. No, wait, jealous? Why was she even feeling jealous...? Was she...

She turned backwards, and looked at the reflections of Coren and Kaila. Before Kaila, it was Princess Myria who had kept all of Coren's time. Cleshire was always left behind, no matter what. She had missed those times when she played with Coren when they were younger. She had missed those times when they were training together. She had missed those times when they were comparing their heights and arguing that they themselves were the stronger one. But when they were both assigned with different positions, Cleshire felt that Coren was getting further. She could never be with him, this she knew, but at least...at least spending some time with him was all she ever wanted.

Cleshire felt an urge to cry, but she knew she couldn't, not when she's the leader of the castle guards. She had to be strong, and relationship must never be in her way. She turned back, and took one last deep breath, before turning up and moving ahead.

Coren stopped his footsteps suddenly, turning backwards this time, to look at Cleshire's reflection. Cleshire was always his best friend, the only one in the world who would understand his every feelings. But, it seemed that she wouldn't be talking to him for a while now. And... And if Coren never even survived this journey, he will never see her again. Coren nodded his head once, as if saying one last goodbye to his dear friend, before turning back.

He then considered what he could do with his time for the day. Well, since he had some spare time, he might as well teach Kaila a few tricks or two, in case she needed it. "Hey, Kaila. Want to be a lesser burden for me?" He turned over to face her, with a crooked smile.

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySat Dec 26, 2009 7:48 pm

Kaila’s dark chocolate eyes looked over at Coren as he began to say something at last. But what he started to say made the young woman’s smile fade from her face, a small frown replacing it. What was he saying? At first she was a little offended, thinking that it was because having her get taken hostage or being a target would slow him down to getting to the princess. Though, as she continued to listen to him before Cleshire interrupted, she thought that maybe... Maybe it was because he didn’t want those things to happen. Was he worried about her being here? For her own safety? That made her feel a little better. But really, she would be fine. He underestimated her a little. Even though she wasn’t magical like everyone else in this world and she seemed weak, she could hold her own for sure... Or so she liked to think.

Sighing, Kaila looked over at Cleshire next as she started to complain about the King’s decision. She obviously wasn’t happy that she wasn’t able to go with Coren instead of Kaila. As she looked towards Kaila, her eyes met Cleshire’s and she frowned at the lack of trust and acceptance. It almost seemed like Cleshire was insisting that Kaila wouldn’t be able to help Coren at all with bringing the princess back, and that was why she wanted to go with Coren.

It was smart of the King to respond to the woman’s disagreements in the way that he did. Mostly every girl couldn’t reject a compliment. Though, the compliment wasn’t just to get Cleshire to back down. It was a truly sincere compliment; he really did trust her a lot with his army and to protect his people. This made Kaila smile a little. It was nice and it made her happy that they had just a kind hearted King ruling over their country. But it broke Kaila’s heart a little to see him like this as well. His daughter was in the hands of their rival country and has been missing for the past two years. How could he stay smiling when he knows this? She thought that he must be a very strong individual.

Kaila listened as the King continued to speak with Coren until she was addressed again. Her eyes flickered up to look at the King again with a little surprise, listening to what he was telling her. But as he smiled when he finished, he left Kaila with a puzzled expression. She was... More than she thought she was? What did that mean exactly?

As Coren knelt down and nodded to the King after he said that they would leave in the morning, Kaila was off in her own little world and she barely heard any of that. She was really confused at what exactly he meant. He had just met her... And he didn’t know her so how could he say that? It meant something, Kaila just didn’t know what it was though. As Coren left the throne room, Kaila followed after him, not minding the obviously angered Cleshire.

When they were both out of the throne room, Kaila turned to Coren. “Are you as angry about the punishment as Cleshire is?” She asked with a frown. He seemed pretty upset and she really didn’t want that. “I’m sorry if this is just a big burden on you, I... I didn’t mean for that..”She trailed off, her eyes looking down at the floor. Her head was spinning and she was starting to get a headache from how many questions with no answers were running through her mind.

--

Myria blinked a few times curiously when he answered her question with “I was just born wrong”. And now he was angrily annoyed with her, just like she thought he would be. But for some reason, she didn’t feel as happy as she thought she was going to be by angering him with this topic. She felt a... A little sad for him maybe? She thought that him saying that was melodramatic but it seemed actually real. Like he truly shouldn’t even be here in this world. Sighing, Myria rolled her eyes and then smirked a little.

“Why am I talking like this? Some power she has to spy on everything in my mind.” Myria mimicked him, picking up a few of his thoughts. She truly was going to go mind snooping but really... She really wasn’t that insensitive. She liked to give people their privacy. She didn’t really like using her power unless she really wanted to. Her father would use the same power on her a lot to tell if she was lying and it just annoyed her that their power didn’t give people privacy. She didn’t want to know everything about everyone. It was true that she could pick and choose what she wanted to look at. Mind or heart.

“I don’t like to use my power on people unless I’m really curious or I need to. Besides, I’m too tired to go snooping in your head or your heart, for your information.”She snapped with a frown. Even though Myria didn’t like to use her power, she didn’t like it when people insulted it either.

Though, the princess started to laugh when Qorvus said that she should talk to the gaurds outside the door, since they spoke more then they needed to. It was almost like he was making a joke or insulting the guards outside. It was hilarious. “I don’t want to talk to them, silly.”She told him, reaching over and poking Qorvus in the cheek. “I want to talk to you. How long am I going to be here? Probably a while unless Coren hurries his feline butt over here. Which he should be but I highly doubt that’ll happen. So it’ll be very boring if we don’t talk. I want to talk to you, you’ll be around more often then the guards outside.

“Unless you don’t want to talk to me?”Myria asked, pouting. “Come on. Talk a little. Doesn’t seem like anyone else around here wants to talk to you. You must have something to talk about.”

((Nooo... Stop apologizing, Alice-chan! It's perfect! ^^ <3 going to reply to the Alice one now. : ) Yay! ))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyThu Dec 24, 2009 8:27 am

Both Coren and Cleshire were shocked at Kaila's words of appreciation. No, it wasn't supposed to be a reward, Kaila. It isn't even something near to it. Having Kaila getting harmed on his journey to saving Princess Myria was the last thing he wanted. As for Cleshire, she just didn't like the fact that the King actually made things go worse. It was already breaking the law that Coren brought Kaila here, but it was even worse that the King had to send her with Coren to Israyra. Israyra was not just any other kingdom. In terms of army, it might have been as strong as Atylia, and Atylia was already known to be one of the strongest kingdom in the world. The only thing Israyra lacked was political stability. But despite that, Israyra could rise any moment. And with Princess Myria in their hands, it was no longer a laughing matter.

King Victor smiled at Kaila's words, knowing that she would very well appreciate it. But the only reason he did this was to send Kaila back to her homeland, to where her throne lied supposedly. It was only right for the true heir of the throne to be sitting on that very throne. And Kaila's return to this dimension had already proven that right. Besides, with Coren alone, he could never bring Princess Myria back, even Coren himself knew this. But one thing that Coren did not know was Kaila had powers just like Princess Myria and King Victor had. It was only that all these years in the human realm had affected her mind, leaving her no space to discover her abilities. But with this journey with Coren, she'll have her chances of noticing them, and by then, Coren will be there to help her.

When Kaila spoke to Coren softly, calling him to voice out, he merely turned back to her and noted that everyone had now set their eyes on him. He never expected to receive such a punishment. Though it may not be entirely bad, it wasn't good either. "But, Your Majesty... Would she be...a target for Israyra if I were to bring her with me? They might catch her as hostage and..." Before he could finish, Cleshire walked ahead and interrupted him. She wasn't happy that the King did such a decision, but she was even more angered by the fact that the King sent a powerless human girl with Coren on this important journey instead of herself. She was much more dependable, much more powerful, strong. But why?

"Your Highness, I personally think it is better for me to go with Coren on this journey instead of her." She said, casting a side glance at Kaila. "I can assist Coren on his journey, and I can help to bring Princess Myria back and restore peace once again to our lands." She spoke, lowering her head as a token of respect for the King, despite disagreeing with what he had planned.

King Victor stood silent for some time, thinking deeply. "You are not entirely wrong, Cleshire. Yes, you are strong, you are dependable, and that's why I need you here in Atylia to protect our kingdom whenever anything happens. Without you here leading the troops, I don't think Atylia can be as strong as it is today." King Victor said, revealing a gentle look to Cleshire. Cleshire went speechless, and she even blushed a little at the compliment she was given.

"And as for you, Coren. You must never question your punishment. Your punishment for bringing Kaila to this dimension is that you must protect her with your life even while traveling to save Princess Myria, my daughter. And so, your punishment is to never let yourself nor Kaila die." He said, smiling as Coren turned back to the King with a surprised look. Maybe just a little, but Coren started to understand why the King was doing this to him. He nodded his head with a stern look. "Yes, Your Majesty."

Then the King turned back to Kaila. "As for you, dear child. You are more than you think you are. And I believe this journey will give you the answers you need." King Victor smiled and turned back to his throne, without speaking another word. "Now, leave and rest yourselves. You are to leave first thing in the morning tomorrow." Coren looked at the King's reflection and nodded, while kneeling down. "Yes, Your Majesty!" And stood up, turning to Kaila before he left the throne room. Cleshire did the same, except she did not eye neither Kaila nor Coren. Obviously, she was still mad at everything.

---

Whats your story?

Her words resonated deep within his mind. It was as if someone had struck a bell right beside his ears, and he was temporarily deaf. His story? Well, he never really had a story. All his story was filled with hatred. And that's all. What would the Princess want to know? Her life was filled with everything he sought for. Why would she even be interested in his story? Why did the King treat him this way even after kidnapping a Princess so crucial to the kingdom? Oh, of course Qorvus knew. In fact, everyone in Israyra knew about that. It was no mystery. Qorvus was well-known there, and was well-hated.

"It was nothing. I was just born wrong." He said softly, slightly angered that she even brought this topic up. "Unlike you, I was born wrong. I shouldn't even be here. I shouldn't even exis-" And he stopped his words halfway through. Why was he talking like this? He never ever spoke to anyone in the world about his story at all. And now he's telling it to a spoilt princess whom he just kidnapped and for nothing? What is this? Some power the princess had to spy everything Qorvus had in his mind?

But when the princess brought up another conversation, he snapped out of his thoughts. The princess sure was nosy. Her questions never did end, and they just seem to pour out of her mouth like water from a fountain. "Talk? It's not my job to talk to you. If you want someone to talk to, go talk to those guards outside. They speak more than they need to." He said, turning away from the princess. She was something, the princess was. She seemed to be able to bring out the emotional side of Qorvus, despite his hard efforts for not trying to reveal them for years.

[ Sorry I guess I didn't quite give you anything to write for the Qorvus part. D: And yes, I still luffles you, Mikky-chan. <3 ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyWed Dec 23, 2009 8:03 pm

Kaila started to feel a little nervous as the King watched her for a few moments after she told him her name. She was just.. Overwhelmed with this whole experience. Excited that she finally had found a way to escape her crazy parents and the world that was so cruel to her but also scared of what would happen to Coren for bringing her here. He.. Saved her in a way and to punish him would be wrong. An internal debate was going on inside the young woman’s head. Was she to jump in front of Coren and insist that she take his punishment instead since she practically begged him to take her with him? Maybe the punishment wouldn’t be too bad but she was starting to highly doubt that. A King could only be so nice before he would have to put his foot down for some order.

Her heart beating echoed in her ears, making her feel incredibly nervous as King Victor turned to Coren, looking sterner instead of friendly like before. Kaila closed her eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath and letting it out slowly and quietly, trying to calm herself down. Her eyes reopened to gaze upon the King as he spoke with Coren. But then he looked back to Kaila once more with another smile before speaking of his punishment. It almost seemed weird that he was smiling just before giving out a punishment, but as he continued to speak, Kaila could see why.

She... She was to go with Coren on his quest to bring back the princess? Kaila’s eyes widened and her jaw almost dropped at the shock of that statement. Was that really a punishment though? Or was it more of a request, making it seem like a punishment since he had to “punish” Coren somehow. Bringing what he started with him in Atylia. Wasn’t the type of punishment that Kaila was expecting and as she looked to Cleshire and then to Coren, she could tell that it wasn’t the punishment that they were expecting either.

It was almost hard not to just break out in a smile and Kaila had a very great urge to get up and hug the King for some reason. It was just.. One thing she was nervous about was that she thought he was either going to send her back to her dimension or have her stay here somewhere, without Coren. And just the thought of being able to stay Coren brought her so much joy. So much joy.. That she almost forgot that this place was much different than her own dimension.

Chocolate brown orbs drifted over to look at Coren, meeting his eyes for a brief instant before she looked back at the King. Coren looked.. Surprised to say the least. And he was speechless but she couldn’t determine whether or not it was a good surprised and speechless look, or a bad one. Her mind was running in a million different ways right now that she was going to have a hard time answering to what the punishment would be. But.. She had to say something.

“Excuse me for speaking suddenly but...” She started, looking at Coren, to Cleshire, and then back to King Victor. “I wanted to thank you. I thought... Well, I was scared that the punishment would have to be to send me back to my own world without any memories of this. Even though i’m not sure that a thank you is really appropriate right now, I still wanted to say thank you.” She smiled a little bit, feeling a little awkward but it had to be said.
Kaila then looked at Coren again with a puzzled expression.

“Aren’t you going to say anything..?”

--

Myria was honestly getting tired of crying and throwing a tantrum, since Qorvus really wasn’t doing anything about it. Usually she had people all over her when she made a fuss, wanting to make her feel better, to do what she wanted to make her stop but Qorvus just didn’t seem that interested in her antics. And that honestly bored her, it wasn’t worth it to get upset if there was nothing that was going to be done about it. With a sigh, the princess fell onto her back, laying on the nicely made up bed that she had. Her situation wasn’t too pleasant but at least her room was liveable. For a kidnapped princess, she was getting spoiled.

Instead of crying and getting upset, she decided to try and make conversation with Qorvus, or what she was under the impression would have been the start of a conversation. He actually looked slightly agitated after she asked him that question, obviously thinking it over a little bit. And then his answer came and it actually made her laugh a little bit. “I’ll know in time? Yeah, okay.”She said as she rolled onto her stomach and looked at Qorvus.

“Seems to me like you’re not well liked here for some reason. You don’t quite fit in, do you?”She asked him with a sigh. “So what’s your story then? How come your King sent you out on such a huge job and then tossed you like dirt after you accomplished it? I would have thought that kidnapping a princess would have been a job to get praised for.”Myria stated in a slightly snooty voice. She was aiming to irritate him. It was the only thing she could do that would be remotely entertaining.

Myria then started to picture in her mind what he might look like when he was irritated. Not in an angry way, just in an annoyed kind of irritated way and it actually made her smile. She thought it would be funny, just teasing him like this to a point where he’d get so annoyed with her. “Why don’t you talk more? It’s going to get boring just sitting here, doing nothing when we’re both in the room. Don’t you think?”

((It’s okay, Alice-chan! It was an awesome reply! I loved it, as always <3 You gave me so much to work with! Thank you ^^ And the Qorvus part was awesome too! YAY FOR CONTINUING ROLEPLAY! I’m so happy! =D ))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyTue Dec 22, 2009 8:42 pm

The moment she spoke her name, the King did a thorough examination...into her heart and mind. Yes, that was the King's ability. With only a name, he could see into one's deepest soul, but of course, depending on whether or not the name is actually the real name. As for Kaila, it wasn't her name as a princess, but her real one as a human girl. So he could practically see through every single thing that happened in her life in the human realm already. And judging from her memory, he could already confirm that she is the princess. For one, she didn't have any real parents over there. At least, she already didn't feel like they were her real parents. And the other thing is, she didn't have even the slightest memory of when she was a baby. Normally, no one could remember things like these, cause they were hidden deep within their subconscious part of their mind. But King Victor can see through anything. And with that, he had already confirmed her identity. So now, it's time for the...punishment.

King Victor turned to Coren now, wiping off the smile on his face. He gave both of them a stern look next, and did as if he was thinking deeply. "No matter what, you will still have your punishment for bringing an innocent girl over here, Coren." The King said, eyeing Coren for a while. Coren looked up at him and nodded. He was ready for anything the moment he brought Kaila here. He knew it was against one of the most important rule of all, in this dimension. It was dangerous for people from the human realm who weren't aware of the existence of magic to enter this dimension, where magic is the key to their living.

The King once again turned back to Kaila, and for that one short moment, he smiled before he spoke of the punishment. "Coren, Knight of Atylia, your punishment for breaking the rule is to bring this girl with you on your quest to saving Princess Myria." He said, and his eyes traveled to the shocked Cleshire. Cleshire, for one, totally agreed with that one rule, above all the others. But now, to hear that the King not only was going to discharge the fact that Coren disobeyed that rule, but also to want Coren to bring Kaila on such a dangerous quest? That's insane! But she didn't speak, out of respect for the King. But she couldn't resist turning to see Coren's reaction either.

And when she did, he was just as shocked as her, or rather, even worse than hers. Coren never thought of bringing Kaila out of Atylia. In Atylia, it's safe for her. Plus, he was going to send her back after having her here some time. But the King's order... It totally went against everything! The quest itself is dangerous and it took Coren and the enemy kingdom two years to get to the princess! Even in a dimension where no magic existed. What more can he say if it's in this dimension? Kaila will be in danger at this point, and Coren didn't want that. But at that moment, he was speechless. Out of instinct, he turned to Kaila, to see what she have to say about this.

---

Qorvus turned over to the princess, not exactly surprised by what she said, but the fact that she was whining, even now. God, he hated it when people whined. The fact that they don't want to do anything and yet whined to get things they yearned for annoyed him. Since he was a kid, he had to do everything himself. But what did it even matter if it's anything about him? No one would care. No one would want to care about a raven who was an alien in his own country. No one.

When the princess questioned him, or rather, insulted him about his given job. Yes, it is stupid. Don't she get it? It is stupid, and that's why the King decided to give him this stupid job. Just so he could make Qorvus look even worse than just stupid. It angered him to remember about how he was treated here, but somehow it had never occurred to him to escape from this living hell. All he had in his mind was to strive high to get what he wanted.

He didn't want to let the princess know anything too, so he merely said something else. "You'll know how important this bodyguard job is in time." Then he was silent. Qorvus never really spoke much. He didn't have anyone to talk to before.

[ BLAH! Sorry for the long wait, and the STUPID Qorvus reply. T_T I was totally out of ideas when I finished the Coren part. D: So sorry~ Will definitely do better by the next post, I promise!! T_T But, other than that, yes! The roleplay finally continues! xD ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyThu Aug 06, 2009 9:03 pm

Kaila was still both nervous and utterly terrified, but a sort of curiosity seemed to have washed over her now. The King didn’t seem angry at all, he seems incredibly friendly. No wonder Coren spoke so highly of him when he actually talked about his home. He seemed like a great King, and it showed. His land was obviously prospering and none of the surrounding area seemed like there would be any sort of hostile civilian. It was... Actually a little strange. Kaila had never been surrounding by so much positive energy before. It was a little overwhelming actually. However, even though the King seemed like a really great guy and all, Kaila was nervous and a little scared as to why he was eyeing her so much. Was it really that strange or such a bad thing that she was here from the human world? Maybe he was just trying to decide what to do.

And then Coren finally began to speak. Kaila felt bad for him, his voice was strange.. He was nervous about the punishment that he may have to face for bringing her here. It wasn’t fair to do this to him, she felt so bad. The guilt finally started to really settle into the pit of her stomach as she listened to him explain to the King about who she was. She looked up at the King and then over to Coren as he stopped speaking, wondering if this conversation was going to continue or if the King was still trying to deliberate as to what he should do... With the both of them. Then his strong voice spoke out above the silence, informing Coren that he should punish Coren for involving her, an innocent human. However.. He said should.. And but... Did that mean that he actually wasn’t going to punish Coren for this?

Kaila didn’t even have time to prepare herself for what happened next. The King arose from his throne and started approaching her. Her deep chocolate orbs widened and she could feel all of the warmth and color drain from her already pale face. Her heart was beating so fast that she thought it was going to actually pop out of her chest. She was even more nervous that the guards quickly followed after the King, like they thought she was some sort of threat to him. However, one couldn’t be too careful, even Kaila knew and understood this.

Slowly and carefully, Kaila arose from her kneeling position to stand in front of the King when he instructed her to rise. Curious eyes blinked as she looked into the face of the King of Atylia. She had never seen a royal person before, not even a celebrity. It was.. Mesmerizing. It was an exhilarating experience to know that she was actually in the presence of someone important. When the King asked what her name was, she gulped once and then let out the breath she was holding before taking another one.
“My name is Kaila, Your Highness.”

--

Israyra and its people seemed to be very very strange to Myria. This Qorvus character looked like he didn’t even know what a simple hug was, like that sort of thing was never done around here and it was almost like it was a terrifying thing to be affectionate or something like that. She didn’t like it here, not one bit. It wasn’t like Atylia, she missed home. At least send her back to that god forsaken human world! She would have rathered it there then in this weird place. It was too dismal, too depressing to be here. All Myria felt like doing is crying, throwing stuff and hitting this stupid Raven who took her from everything and messed up her perfect life!

Suddenly the princess was caught before her knee’s had the time to touch the ground. She felt strong hands grab her, to stable her and to prevent her from totally falling onto the ground. Wet and tearful eyes looked up at Qorvus in slight surprise before she felt herself being lifted off of the ground completely and into his strong, but gentle arms... Wait. No. She hated him, nothing about him was gentle or kind or whatever! He placed her gently on the bed though and then once again quickly moved away from her and then turned his back to her. What was his problem?

Myria’s lips turned into a spoiled pout as she stopped crying. She didn’t want to cry anymore, but she certainly wasn’t happy and she was going to make sure that she didn’t look happy either. “I want to go home. I hate it here.”She mumbled, narrowing her eyes slightly and glancing over at the Raven. She wasn’t going to stop stating the fact that that she wasn’t happy, even though Qorvus probably wouldn’t care and wouldn’t do anything about it. “So, what are you supposed to do? Just... Stay here and watch me day and night? That seems like a pretty stupid job to me. You sure got the short end of the stick on this one.”She told him, crossing her arms.

((I think that’s a great idea!... If you want to continue this rp ^^’ I hope so! I know I was gone for a long time and I have a habit of doing that but I hope you can forgive me... Again! D: I love you Alice <3 ))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptySun Apr 26, 2009 3:49 am

King Victor continued to eye the newcomer. She was definitely a royalty. She was similar to Myria, in a number of ways. But, it didn't seem like she knew about it. Why was she in the human world? No, wait. He had heard about it before, 17 years ago, when Israyra fell into the hands of the animals, the King of Israyra used his last breath to save his daughter, by sending her into the human world, hoping she would at least be able to grow up there happily, instead of dying at that time. If so, then... Should this girl in front of him be the real heir to Israyra? King Victor thought it was amusing. It must be fate that was pulling the strings. Logically, once the princess was sent to the human world without knowledge of her own identity, there was no way she could return back to her place, the throne she was meant to sit on. But, in the end, she was brought back to her world, and by a knight of the other kingdom. Fate's a weird thing, sometimes.

Coren took one quick glance at Cleshire, wondering if she would do anything about Kaila. But no, she did not make a move at all. After some time, Coren began to speak, without confidence that he'll be able to survive this without punishment. "Your Highness, she is a human from the human realm. She had nothing to do with anything, neither did she have anything to do with Princess Myria's abduction. But I brought her back on my own accord, Your Highness." He said, shutting his eyes, wondering what would he hear next. But, the King said nothing. He kept his eyes on Kaila, and after some time, he began to speak. "I should punish you for involving an innocent human from the human realm in this, but..." The King stopped, standing up and approaching Kaila.

The other guards grew aware of this, and a couple of them walked behind the King, just in case if there were any dangers about. Since Atylia was a strong country, assassins and spies were often hired by other kingdoms to ambush on the King. When the King was finally in front of Kaila, he stopped, looking down at her. "You may rise, dear child." He said, with a gentle smile. Cleshire's eyes followed the King. She would think that the King will try to send the innocent girl back to the human realm, but this was weird. At that moment, she thought that King might consider to let Kaila stay in this world. Coren, too, followed Cleshire's gaze and turned back to look at Kaila and the King. When Kaila had rose up, the King released a breath. "What's your name, child?" He asked, soft and gentle.

---

Qorvus frowned when he heard what she told him. Just a hug? Well, it's not just a hug. Qorvus had never received a hug from anyone before. And he doubted that hugs were casual in this kingdom either. But, the princess spoke as if it was just a normal thing. Do people usually hug someone else? What was life even like outside of Israyra? Qorvus never actually knew about it. He was always alone, with no one to care about him. There were times when he wanted to care for someone, but everytime his care would only backfired. It was until a point that Qorvus tried not to care for anyone, at all. But, why did he even care about the princess crying? It was only then did he noticed the wet tears on his shirt. It was like he spilled some water on his shirt. He didn't like the feeling at all, but when he turned up to the princess, she said she was lonely.

The princess...lonely? How can that even be? A princess was always surrounded by people who love her, and people she love. A princess was never hated by anyone, always loved and respected. She must have had everything Qorvus hoped for in life, and yet now she told him she's lonely?! He grew to be unhappy at that point, but before he even knew it, the princess began to fall onto her knees. Acted by instinct, Qorvus quickly bent down to grab the princess, before she completely collapsed on the ground. She seemed weak, very weak. She must be tired from all the things that had happened today. If she were to get ill or anything, King Duran will definitely blame it all on her personal bodyguard. Qorvus carried her up from the ground, and it was then did he notice how light she was. He brought her to the bed that was beautifully prepared for her, and set her on the bed, gently. But then, he began to feel awkward again and quickly turned away, and took a few steps away from the bed. He didn't know why, but he just felt weird to be near her.

[ <3 Aww, thanks. xD By the way, I was thinking to have the two of them have those sort of love/hate relationship. And well, Myria can still have little affection for Coren, and that would definitely make Qorvus jealous. But it was because of that that Qorvus only love her silently. In the end, he would even help Myria escape and hand her over to Coren. And then, he'll go to King Duran and take all the blame. =D I just love to play tragic characters. x3 ]

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyFri Apr 24, 2009 10:10 am

Kaila's heart had to be pounding a mile a minute as she looked up at the gold doors infront of her. Were these doors made of real gold? It sure looked like it.. It shined like it.. How rich was this royal family exactly!? Kaila had never seen anything like this or even the look of this city in her own world. Maybe they were getting the bad end of things. While the human world or dimension suffered through poverty, depressions and recessions, she started to wonder if every country in this world was like this town. Beautiful and prosperous, some place that actually had money adn took care of the look of the city. Though, Kaila's thoughts were suddenly broken when the gold doors started to open and they were escorted into the throne room.

Her breath caught in her throat and Kaila culdn't help but gasp at the sight she saw as soon as she entered the throne room. Everything, literally everything was either made of gold or platinum. It almost hurt her eyes, everything was shining, clean and very very bright. The young girl blinked a few times and rubbed her eyes, just to make sure that she wasn't dreaming. When reddish-brown orbs once again opened and looked around, Kaila knew that this wasn't a dream at all. Her feet moved on their own and followed Coren as she was absorbing the sight of everything here. It was all so new... But being in a throne room.. The thought didn't seem so new. What was it about this place that was making her feel really weird? It seemed familiar but she knew she had never been here before. Familiar in a sense that she had seen something -like- this before. She knew that she hadn't though. Maybe it was in a dream...

Kaila had to snap herself out of her daze when she noticed that both Cleshire and Coren were on their knee's, bowing. The girl blushed in embaressment and then quickly got on her knee's as well and copied what Cleshire and Coren were doing. She was such an amatuer in the presence of anyone royal and she had no idea what she was doing. She hoped that the King would understand if that was rude or anything, cause she wasn't from here obviously. Kaila quickly closed her eyes tightly when she heard Cleshire's voice ring out of the silence, telling the King that she had brought back Coren and then stopped herself from mentioning Kaila yet.

Her eyes slowly opened and she glanced up at the King, blinking a few times. He didn't seem like he would be mean or cruel.. He actually looked quite content, like a peaceful man. The sight calmed her down a little until she saw his eyes drift towards her. When that happened, she quickly looked down at the ground and the King started speaking. His voice was loud and majestic, though it was kind. When Kaila looked back up at him, he was even smiling. He had asked Coren who she was. Was she supposed to iintroduce herself to the King or wait for Coren to do it? She was so embaressed and so clueless as to what she should do. Kaila looked over at Coren and waiting to see if he was going to respond first.

--

Myria tightened her arms around Qorvus as he just stood there. She could hear the flowers slip from the flesh of the Raven's hand and onto the floor with a soft crash. He had gone out to get her flower's to cheer her up... That was one of the nicest things anyone could have done for her right now, in this place. Even though he was the one who had taken her so harshly from her human family and from Coren, he still had the heart to try and cheer her up. He wasn't a complete heartless monster that she had previously thought after all. Myria didn't even care if he hugged her back, she just needed someone to cry to right now. The princess' face pressed a little more into Qorvus' shirt, dampening the fabric with her salty tears.

The hug didn't last very long though. Qorvus placed his hands on her shoulders and then pushed her back lightly, not harshly since he didn't seem to want to hurt her, and then backed off. The princess wiped her eyes a little with her hand before she looked over at the dark haired male standing infront of her. She blinked a few times though, slightly surprised at the sight. His face was... Slightly frightened and he looked so stiff and awkward. What? Had he not experienced a... Hug before? He was acting as if he didn't know what just happened. "I.... It was just a... A hug. I couldn't help myself."She told him, sniffling a little and bringing her hand up to her eyes again, to try and hide the tears that were still escaping from her eyes. "I'm so lonely."She muttered before dropping to her knee's. Myria felt as if she didn't have the strength to stand anymore. She couldn't pretend to be strong anymore. She was so weak..

((Yay! I'm glad you liked my idea : ) And i'm happy that you used it ^^ And... ZOMFG QORVUS!!! >w< You just keep making him so darn cute XD I love him so much XD <3 <3
And it's okay about length, I thought it was really long actually =D))

Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] Empty
PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette] EmptyThu Apr 23, 2009 10:03 am

Cleshire stopped in front of the throne room, while the guards that were guarding the throne room received a hand signal from Cleshire, and pushed the wide golden door opened. Cleshire stepped into the throne room, followed by Coren and Kaila. As if the golden door wasn't enough, inside the throne room, everything was made of gold, some maybe even platinum! Everything inside was shining, all with their own designs and light. Coren had not been here since 2 years ago. Certainly, this place didn't change at all, but it still made him impress about its wonders. Cleshire had walked straight ahead, without looking anywhere else. And by the end of the room, was no one other than the King himself. The King of Atylia. King Victor.

Coren stopped looking about the throne room, and turned to focus on the person he's meeting. King Victor. How much had Coren owed him. It was because of Coren himself that King Victor's daughter was kidnapped, and taken away from his side. But still, King Victor had wanted to meet with him, and still hoping that Coren would help save his daughter. Even after so much, he would still trust Coren, his daughter's personal bodyguard, who had failed him so many times. Now that he came to think about it, Coren felt kind of guilty. He didn't bring Myria back, but he brought along Kaila as well, a human girl, and now they're meeting the King, without accomplishing his mission. He knew the King was a reasonable man, but even he shouldn't be able to tolerate with this...right?

Just as he asked himself that question, he was already standing right in front of the throne. Cleshire had already bowed and knelt on the floor at her King. Coren quickly did the same, knowing that Kaila would imitate his actions too. Never had he felt this nervous before, or rather, guilty. Waiting for the King's first words were hard moments, hardest right now. But before his great voice was heard, Cleshire's voice came echoing. "Your Majesty, I've brought back Coren, Princess Myria's bodyguard, from the human realm under your command." She said, and it sounded as if she still had something else to say, but she had to stop herself from continuing. Coren gulped once, knowing that now, it was the King's turn to speak. King Victor merely glanced at Coren, and smiled. Then, his eyes travelled to the stranger, a girl behind Coren. He knew immediately that she wasn't from around here. But at the sight of the girl, had reminded him of his own daughter. He was surprised. That girl, she's not ordinary human. And neither did she belong to the human realm. His smile expanded, and broke into a grin. "Well... I see you've brought a visitor along, Coren. It's been two years now, I hope you're still as strong as you used to be, according to rumors." The King smiled at him, and turned to Cleshire. "Thank you for a good job, Cleshire, as always." Then, he shifted his attention to the visitor, to Kaila, and pretended. "I wonder, who is that girl you've brought with you, Coren?"

---

Qorvus wanted so badly to kick himself in his butt, if he were allowed to. He felt so weak, pathetic, and he knew, he'll be insulted for the rest of his life, and perhaps even losing his last reputation forever. He wondered right now why did he choose to do such a stupid thing. Well, sure, taking the flowers would certainly cheer the princess up, but it undoubtedly lowered his reputation. It's not a good sight to see a knight plucking flowers, arranging them in his own hands. No way, no way would he ever do that again. That stupid, wretched...

And the princess came approaching, putting her arms around him, and...and...hugged him. Qorvus widened his eyes, and dropped the flowers to the ground. It was such a weird feeling. It was...something new to him. Sure, he had seen someone else hug some other people, but he never knew that being hugged was something like this. It was...different, much different from all the feelings he had felt since he was a baby. It made him warm, and it made him forget about every single thing that had happened in his life. Hugging...had such a nice feeling towards it. But before the hug went any longer, Qorvus snapped himself back to reality. He began to grow nervous at the sight of someone, especially the princess, a girl, so near to him. He pushed her back, not too harshly, and backed off. "What are you doing?" He asked, looking quite frightened, and awkward at the same time.

[ Awww, Qorvus. <3 And well, erm... I love the idea about the King knowing about it, so I went along with your plan~ And yep, we can find out about that anytime you want. x3 Sorreh for the shorter length, if compared to yours. xD I was kinda brain dead right now. And tired. @.@ ]
