Cho blinked and turned to look at her. There was no reason for her to believe this was a lie, it sounded truthful to her. But for some reason she felt it was. "Of course, when you've fully recovered," she said with a small smile. The fact that this place seemed so empty didn't seem to bother Cho at all.

As Chen looked around the room for the first time, the expression on her face fell in a silent sadness. This place... It was so... dead. "Um... when I've fully recovered... can I see my father...?" she asked, still having some reservations as to telling Cho the whole truth at this point. "I just want him to know I'm alright." It was a lie, and she knew it. But, as of right now there was no reason for Chen to involve this kind woman in her own affairs.

Cho's head peaked into the room, silver hair all about her face and her cute white and black ears perked up. "Oh no, not at all, Chen. You just sit and rest, I already have the tea on the kettle, it shouldn't be long now." she said as she walked into the room. There was almost nothing to it but the furniture and windows. No pictures, no keepsakes, nothing. Cho had indeed had a lot of them in the past, but had to run and leave them all behind.

Chen stayed under that blanket for a full hour, all the while sleeping restfully. Words couldn't describe how happy she was that someone had come for her at last, somebody who knew her pain and was willing to help her to cope with it. At last her tails perked up, and she began to stir, noticing for the first time the blanket carefully placed around her body. Blushing from sheer joy, she hugged it tight, burying her face into it for a second before sitting up. "Is there anything I can help with?" she asked. It was a question she was used to asking by now, but back then this had always been expected of her.

Cho watched her, smile turning into a light frown. Whatever the girl went through must be horrible. She just...couldn't imagine. Shaking her head, she moved over to a nearby closet, grabbing a warm blanket before gently placing it over her, manuvering(sp?) the blanket so that it didn't go over her head but the rest of her body, and made her way into the tiny kitchen. She wasn't sure how long Chen would be asleep for, a while most likely, so she didn't bother getting the tea ready yet. She just did some minor cleaning around the house, trying not to wake her.

Chen gave a weak smile and slowly nodded. "That... would be nice..." she stated, still rather tired and weak from the condition she must have been in. Finally she closed her eyes and went to sleep, curling up on the couch into an unnaturally small, tight curl. Apparently this was what she was used to, after all that man had put her through this had become the only way she could sleep. She was positioned for the sole purpose that her hair came down over all her body, so that he couldn't watch her in her sleep without first waking her up to move her body.

"Chen, that's a lovely name," Cho said with a small smile and leaned over, brushing a few bangs out of the girls eyes. "I should let you rest some more. You look like you need it after whatever it was you just went through. Would you like some warm tea when you wake up?' she asked quietly as she stood up. She had never taken care of someone before, but she hoped she was doing a good enough job to not make the poor girl scared. She was worried about her, even though she knew nothing about her. It was in her nature to do so, it seemed.

Chen's left ear gave a slight twitch. "Th-thank you..." she breathed out, finally relaxing. The girl was right, after all, and Chen had even known it from her experiences with first aid.

She heard what happened, and how she was found, and she frowned, her ears and tails falling limp. "I'll tell you later..." she promised. "After I remember what happened." Well, it wasn't that she had amnesia, not by any stretch of the imagination, but rather when the rain hit her body she had reverted to a feral state, and had no memory of what happened to her or her master. So how could she possibly know that she had been the one who killed the man?

"Oh... Chen..." she replied, giving her own name. Normally she would have bowed or done something, but she needed the rest and she knew it.

(Well, I can only get on at school, so we're even.)

"Yes, I did," Cho said softly as she sat down beside the couch, staring at her with a kind expression. She tucked a strand of silver hair behind her ear, and watched her with a look of concern. "You shouldn't move around so much, you might aggravate your injuries." Cho smiled slightly.

"I found you nearly unconscious in an alley. I'm not quite sure what happened, and you don't have to tell me if you don't want to," she said in a hurry. "I brought you here, to my apartment. You don't have to worry anymore, almost no one knows I live here so you'll be perfectly safe." From almost no one, it sounded like she was hiding from people herself.

"I'm Cho, by the way," she said lastly.

Roughly fifteen minutes after Cho finished her work with bandaging the near-dead neko, the girl slowly stirred, her ear perking up, her tail giving a single lazy wave. Finally she forced her eyes to open, and the first thing she noticed immediately was that she could not see out her right eye, not because she had been blinded, but because the bandages Cho had placed all around the right side of her head completely obscured her vision from that eye. As it was, she was unable to ascertain whether or not she was still a slave, and so moved the one part of her body that could not be bound in any way - her head.

Turning her head to the side, she saw the girl sitting there, watching her. What she didn't see was that the girl, like her, had ears and a tail. Her eyes widened in fear, and she slowly tried to shift her body as far into the couch as possible. "W-where am I? Who are you? [i]Are you human?![i]" she asked, panic causing her voice to become louder with each passing question. Only once she finally did see the black on top of the womans head and realize that they were ears did Chen calm down, though she regretted that she could not see the tail behind the girl's body yet.

The strength to move around finally starting to come back to her, she looked down and realized that she was fully unclothed. The only reason she didn't freak out then and there was because she also saw that the bandages that she had been wrapped with not only covered everything sexual, but also offered her better coverage than anything her master had ever given her. "Did you... save me...?" she asked weakly, still laying down on the couch.

Cho frowned when she started thrashing, figuring something more horrible than what she thought must have happened to her. She shivered, not being able to possibly imagine. She gently carried the girl when she realized she had fallen unconscious, and due to her opening injuries once more, took into a run back to her apartment. She had a pretty good first aid kit and healing abilities. She had those abilities instead of being able to make herself appear human, and she liked them better because it gave her a chance to help those in need.

She reached her apartment in about ten minutes, thanks to her demonic speed, and gently placed Chen on the couch when she walked in, not caring about the condition it got into, Chen was more important at the moment. She then rushed into her room looking through the closet, finding her first aid kid at the top. Taking out bandages and other necessities, she ran back over to her, knelt down beside the couch and began to work, first by stopping the bleeding, which took a while, and then cleaning the blood and wounds before putting the bandages on. She did this as gently as she could without hurting her more.

Chen's ear gave a light twitch as she heard Cho's words, but aside from that she had no means to communicate that she understood - or even heard - what Cho was trying to tell her. But, she must have heard on a subconscious level, because her body willed itself to relax. Maybe it was because the voice was female. Maybe it was because it kind of sounded like her own mother.

Slowly her eyes flickered open, and the first thing she realized was that she was being carried. Having belonged to... him... for the past six years, the first assumption Chen made was that he must be the one carrying her. Her eyes widened in terror, and she began to kick out of the older demon's arms, flailing like she was possessed. This continued on for about fifteen seconds, then a splitting pain ran through her body, as the wounds reopened, and she fell limp in Cho's arms, now unconscious.
