Eliza looks up and gasps as she senses something and her locket glows briefly and she pulls Mehira closer to herself as a burst of dark energy rocks the rooftop apartment.

"We really need to get out of here now".

Lisa looks at the girl and nods as she then suggests, "All of us can help you if you let us we can fight pretty good".

"If you says so," I reply, meaning to sound more in agreement than skeptic, though managed to work both in. The girl was just crazy in my opinion.

She burst into the room with Lisa and Naomi, and stood there panting a moment, the kitten looking at them wide eyed, before she spoke, "Let Momo and me out. We want to go. Now. Not dark. Dark isn't safe either. Let us out."

Eliza shakes her head no as she gets up and helps Mehira up and then says to her with a very serious look on her face as she can tell something is going to happen very soon if not now, "I think we should listen to that girls advice something is about to happen".

Lisa can feel it to that something is about to happen and she and Naomi are already prepared and just waiting for every one else to come so that they can get moving.

"Momo says and Momo knows! We have to go. Night fall be too late. Momo says either come with us or let us out. Momo no wants us to die," she replied, still tugging on Eliza's hand. Suddenly she gave up on Eliza and ran in search of someone else, probably Lisa. I looked at you and asked, "Did she hurt you?"

Eliza nods as she then runs one of her hands through Mehira's hair and when she says for a very long time a big smile floats across her face, "Yes and that time well be cherished always".

Eliza looks suprised and then asks the girl, "What is going on please tell me why do we need to go?".

"A very long time," I said in agreement to her. I nuzzled her neck to hide my smile and joy. The most peaceful moments are always the best...and always the most short lived.

Suddenly the cat girl was on the roof, tugging on Eliza's hand and crying, "We have to go! Momo says we have to go now!"

"Alright then its a promise may our paths cross again when either one of us dies but lets pray that does not happen for a long time to come".

Eliza says and then looks at Mehira and smiles softly at her.

Comfortingly, I stroke her hair, glad that she feels as though she can rely and trust me. I press a kiss to the top of her head and reply, "We'll meet again after death, just as the spirits of the wolves and vampires meet again. I know it." My confidence was great in the matter and I was certain that our souls were destine for each other, not just in this life.

"Yes death comes to even those that time can not reach but even so my time on this planet well be as long as any vampire or even werewolf or any of those mystical creatures".

Eliza nestles close to Mehira glad that she is there for her.

"Death will claim those that even time can not. Worry about the now, not the next, okay?" I replied, stroking her cheek again, not liking her to be upset. I tried to be soothing, but wasn't sure if I was helping or not.

Eliza looks at Mehira and her face gives away all that she is thinking and feeling because she does not want to lose Mehira because of not being able to die of old age or age period.

"But I dont want to lose you later down the road I dont know if I could continue to live if and when you die".

I took her hands in mine, enchanted by them again, drawn in and into their depths, amazed at their depth and color and everything about them...her. Lifting her hands up, I pressed them to my cheek and replied, "Life is a curse and a blessing, don't pass on what is giving to you to another. It is your burden and gift. cherish and hate it."
