| Unfortunately, Levi never really made it easy for anyone to like him, especially in his thirteen year old form. Someday, hopefully soon, he would just be Lucien again, and the last thing he needed were attachments to his thirteen year old counterpart. He wasn't much different when he was nineteen, but he still found that people treated him better and liked him more. There was just something about being berated by a thirteen year old that really irked people. She retook her seat at the table, a slight frown on her lips. "He's fine. He's just tired, apparently." At this, the group grew uncharacteristically quiet. "Just who is this kid anyway, Riley? Did Levi tell you anything? He did seem tired, but that was no reason for him to be so angry about some kid he just randomly met on the street. Hell, it even seemed like he was being nice to him before." Her tone was one of annoyance; it made things difficult for all of them when their boss was in a bad mood, and Levi actually becoming angry was a rare. Usually, he remained calm, maybe a little irritated, but always calm. The silver haired individual sighed and leaned back in his chair. "I already told you; he's just a delivery boy who happened to show up at the wrong time. At least, that's all Levi told me. Maybe we should just ask the kid, intimidate him a little, get some answers." One of the other guys spoke up. "You know as well as I do that Levi would wring all of us out if we did that, and I'm not really up for getting shot right at the moment." All four of them fell silent when Andrew entered the kitchen, all of them automatically looking to him. Upon listening to him speak, realization sparked into each of their eyes. Two of the guys grinned, while Riley started laughing. The laughter was brought to a swift halt by a sharp kick in the shins under the table, courtesy of the raven haired girl. Riley yelped and clutched at his shin, glaring indignantly at the girl. Of course, this started the other two guys laughing, their full attention now temporarily diverted from Andrew. "H-hey! What the hell was that for Alexis?!" "For being a rude idiot." She looked to Andrew, smiling ever-so slightly. "Sorry babe, but leaving isn't an option anymore. Seems someone planted a bomb somewhere on this street and demanded everyone stays inside." "Wha-" Upon Riley opening his mouth in order to question her, he received another sharp kick to the shin, which successfully quieted him again. One of the other men realized what she was doing and nodded. "Yep. A bomb. Right outside. Can't go anywhere at all until the police clear it, which could take a while." Alexis stood from the table and placed her hands on Andrew's shoulders, turning him around and guiding him back to Levi's bedroom. "Real sorry, but it looks like you'll have to stay the night, so you should just head on back into the bedroom and get some sleep. We'll let you know as soon as they've cleared the street. Promise." With that, she gave him a little push back into the bedroom and closed the door. Alexis returned to the kitchen, retrieved a chair, brought it back to the door of the bedroom, and wedged it under the handle. Now, even if Andrew wanted to get out, he couldn't. Unless he jumped from the window, but they were on the top floor so that really wasn't advisable. When she took her seat at the kitchen table, Riley frowned and looked at her questioningly. "There isn't really a bomb, is there?" When she shook her head no, his frown grew. "Well, then why the hell did you do that? Levi's going to be livid if he wakes up and the kid is still here. Besides, isn't this kind of like kidnapping?" She sighed, "You really are about as smart as you look." Absentmindedly, she picked the deck of cards up from the table and began to shuffle them. "Just wait till morning and you'll see. Plus, it isn't kidnapping until we tie him up." "What if he starts screaming or something though?" "He won't. Even if he does, you'll just threaten to shoot him." Riley opened his mouth to object, however at the risk of getting kicked again, swiftly closed it. Alexis did always seem to know best when it came to Levi, generally it was a god idea to trust her judgements, no matter how extreme they may have seemed. |

| Levi looked back to Andrew and his eyes narrowed dangerously. "Excuse me?" This time, rather than surprise him, Andrew's audacity merely made him irritated, and that joined with his tiredness to form an incredibly rude, tired thirteen year old. "That nerve is going to get you killed someday, and no one is going to be around to help you. In fact, I'm done helping you. If you want to leave, then you can walk out of this room and ask one of them to take you home, which I doubt will happen, or you can walk. Whichever you choose, I expect you to be gone by morning." With that, Levi promptly left the room. He hadn't seemed totally furious; he hadn't been yelling, he hadn't slammed any doors, and he had placed the nano phone down without breaking it. Still, he was angrier than he usually got. When he strode right past the kitchen, ignoring the questioning calls of his crew, they knew better than to pester. Instead, their voices died down even more, and only one of them, the only female, left to check on their boss. Levi, meanwhile, headed straight into Kairn's bedroom, retrieved some clothes from one of the dressers, and proceeded to the bathroom in order to change out of the clothes he was currently wearing. When he came out, the raven haired female was waiting for him by the doorway, watching him questioningly. A frown met his lips, but in spite of the fact he did not want to deal with a conversation right now, answered her unspoken question. "...Tell the crew I'm fine. I'm just...tired. Don't wake me up in the morning unless it's urgent." "And what about the kid?" He turned his back to her and proceeded towards the bed. "...Escort him home when he wishes to leave, but make sure it's before I wake up." "Alright, if that's what you want..." He paused, standing at the side of the bed. His eyes narrowed. "And what exactly does that mean?" She sighed softly. "You certainly are grumpy. Well, it's nothing we can't postpone talking about until tomorrow. Goodnight Levi." She flicked off the lights in the room and closed the door behind, returning to the kitchen table and relaying Levi's message to the remainder of the crew.

~-OOC-~ Lol, he definitely would if he had a gun on him XD But, since the story must go on and Levi isn't allowed to kill Andrew...he'll have to settle for being snarky and rude instead. By the way, you've probably already noticed, but I only include pictures of the important characters. The girl will actually become really important later on, because she's one of the very few people who know Lucien's secret, but for now, she's more or less just a helpful side character ^-^ |

| At the sound of Andrew's voice, Levi's ears twitched slightly. Whatwith the cat ears and all, he was a relatively light sleeper, and due to the way he grew up, he had learned to wake up to unfamiliar voices. Since he had met Andrew only a few hours ago, he did not recognize his voice very well. The thirteen year old stirred slightly, before rolling over, apparently still asleep. A few moments later, he rolled over again, this time remaining still for an even shorter period of time before sitting up. For a few moments, he more or less just stared at the blonde. Unfortunately, while the sound of unfamiliar voices did wake him up, if he didn't get enough sleep he wouldn't fully awaken very quickly. In this particular instance, he was still about half-asleep. "...You're still here?" Not the nicest thing he could have said, but he was still tired, and considerably grumpy after getting shot at and such. "I assumed you would have fled the building already. Most people would." Levi stood up from the couch and headed for the door of the bedroom. "I'll be right back." He exited the room, and judging from the voices emanating from outside of the room, went to the kitchen. A short discussion occurred, and the voices quieted down a bit more. A few seconds later, Levi returned to the room, closing the door behind him. He was carrying a glass of water, and a bottle of aspirin. He placed the aspirin and the water on a bedside table relatively near Andrew. "You should take one or two; it will calm your nerves a bit." The thirteen year old proceeded to the corner of the room and flicked on a lamp, shedding a soft light throughout the room. Prior to that, it had only been moonlight illuminating the bedroom. "It's rather late, but if you want to leave right now, I can arrange for someone to take you home. Your belongings are safe, by the way. It seems they weren't interested in stealing anything or destroying anything." "Speaking of which..." He turned around, directing his coal black hues on Andrew. "It really was not necessary for you to lock me in the closet. Really. I can handle myself perfectly fine; in fact, you should be more concerned about yourself. Your actions were careless, thoughtless, and, although they may have seemed brave at the time, were foolhardy. A word of advice; if the person trying to attack you is armed, and you are not, it's best to stay in the closet." About halfway through, it more or less transformed into a lecture. Poor Andrew; now he was not only being ordered around by a kid, but he was also getting lectured by one. None of this was probably helping his self-esteem. Anyway, Levi seemed to realize that he had begun to lecture the blonde, and swiftly turned his attention elsewhere, focusing instead on the open window on the far left wall of the room. After a few moments of silence on Levi's part, he spoke again. "...Never relay anything you witnessed here to anyone, not even your closest friends or relatives, alright?" Normally, the thirteen year old, when telling someone to stay quiet, would utilize threats, however, in this particular situation, it seemed inappropriate. He almost felt inclined to be relatively nice to the blonde, if only because he seemed to display a kind of innocent recklessness.

| Andrew had guessed correctly; Levi was considering jumping out side of the closet if only to distract them for a bit. The blonde's intervention prevented him from doing so; the thirteen year old could tell that he was kind of panicking inside, and if he left, there would be nothing to stop Andrew from fully freaking out. So, in spite of the fact he did not wish to and it went against his calculations, he remained still. He may have acted a bit snobby and rather self-centered at times, but he knew how to respond to people in difficult situations, and would act accordingly in order to keep them calm. A frown met his lips when he heard the phone vibrate; he shifted so that Andrew could try to reach it, and found himself pressed against the door of the closet. When he heard the men outside of the closet, he tensed and his ears flattened against his head again. It seemed like they had less time than he had previously calculated. He was about to prepare to spring out of the closet in order to catch them off guard and such, but paused when Andrew started to move around again. Naturally, he was just as surprised as the men when Andrew just abruptly sprang out of the closet. His first reaction was to curse silently under his breath and attempt to jump out after him in order to prevent him from getting shot, however, instead, the closet doors shut on him and Andrew trapped him inside. He wasn't the type to start yelling and cursing, but rather attempt to pry open the doors. He braced his back against the back of the closet and pushed as hard as he could with his feet on the doors, however his attempts failed miserably. He just wasn't strong enough in his thirteen year old form to overpower Andrew. Yet another reason for his foul mood to manifest itself once again. Frustrated, Levi reached under the jeans he was wearing and produced a startlingly sharp pocket knife. He went right to work on the hinges of one of the doors, simultaneously listening to the commotion outside of the closet. He heard the first guy take off; that was a good sign, however he couldn't hear the second. The shock of the blonde jumping out and hitting him with the doors wouldn't be enough to knock the guy out, it would've incapacitated him for a minute or so, but he should've still been conscious. Meanwhile, Levi's contact had just reached the hotel suite, and ran into the room as soon as the escaping guy ran out. The first he saw was Andrew, and, of course, Andrew was the first thing he directed his protective anger at. "Just who are you and where's the kid?" His voice carried a dangerous edge; Andrew may have looked young, but he knew better than to judge based on appearances thanks to Levi. "Hand him over or else!" He raised his hand to reveal a gun and directed it at the blonde's head to demonstrate his point. As if on cue, the door of the closet burst open. Naturally, as soon as Andrew had moved from the door, Levi had finished taking out the last bolt, and had consequently kicked the door to force it open. Unfortunately, surprised by the sudden movement, Levi's contact jumped, his finger tightened around the trigger, and he accidently fired the gun. Acting purely upon instincts, Levi more or less shoved Andrew out of the way, and narrowly missed the bullet himself. The bullet embedded itself in the closet, and Levi's contact turned white as a ghost upon realizing he had just almost shot his boss. By now, Andrew had probably already fainted. It wasn't surprising considering the circumstances. The first thing the thirteen year old did next was stride quickly up to his silver haired comrade, and snatch the gun from his hand. "From now on, you're keeping the safety on. I called you to help me Riley, not shoot me." Next, he turned his attention to the first man, who was currently trying to sneak out of the room. He fired the gun towards the man, effectively hitting him in the foot and causing him to fall over. "Make yourself useful and phone the rest of the crew to come pick him up before he stains the carpet with blood, but first..." He glanced to the unconscious Andrew lying on the floor. "Carry him into the bedroom. You can stay here after he wakes up, but you have to stay out of sight. I don't need him to freak out when he sees the idiot who almost shot him. Now go, and make it quick." "Right away boss!" Riley replied sheepishly, rushing to Andrew's side and hefting him over his shoulder. With a sigh, Levi followed the silver-haired male out of the room. First, more aspirin, then he would have to dig up a cold compress or smelling salts or something. He doubted the blonde would wake up anytime soon, but it was worth a try. By the time he did wake up, it would probably be too late for him to go home anyway.

~-An undetermined number of hours later-~
When Andrew woke up, he would find himself lying in an oversized round bed in one of the suite's bedrooms. If he got up and walked around the room a bit, he would notice Levi sleeping on one of the couches in the bedroom. Another downside to the thirteen year old body was that, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't stay awake forever. When he was exhausted, he usually passed out. Anyway, judging from the fact that Levi was sleeping inside the room and that it was characteristically neat of the thirteen year old, it was probably Levi's room. Currently, Riley and a few more members of what was probably Levi's private little crew were seated around a table in the kitchen, playing cards and boasting about the last job they had pulled off among other things. Judging from the sounds of their voices, which were somewhat audible, most of them were guys and there was only one girl. Hopefully, considering that they were just kind of chilling out in the kitchen, Andrew would realize they were, in fact, some of Levi's acquaintances.
~-OOC-~ Don't worry about it; I like it when unexpected twists happen and you have to figure out what to do next ^-^ I hope you don't mind the time skip; I just want to keep the story rolling so we don't end up getting stuck on a certain part.

| Once again, Andrew's audacity surprised him; his primary assumptions certainly seemed unrealistic at this point, with him more or less straddling the blonde. It didn't bother him as much as it probably should have, but it was...well, awkward, to say the least. Moving as silently as possible, Levi slowly reached into the blonde's pocket, which, to make things just that much more awkward, was impossible for someone his height to do unless he pretty much laid down on top of Andrew. In the process, his cat ears brushed up against Andrew's face, and his head ended up resting on the 'older' male's chest. For a minute or so, while Levi was trying to reach the cellphone, they were stuck like this. Of course, the instant the thirteen year old had the phone in his grasp, he sat up in order to reduce the awkwardness of the situation, although, at this point, that was pretty much impossible. Before flipping open the cellphone, he listened for the movement of the men; it sounded like they were only about halfway across the room, so it would be safe to make the phonecall now. He flipped open the cellphone and rapidly dialed, listening carefully as it rang. On about the fifth or sixth ring, someone on the other end finally picked up. "There's a situation in the hotel suite; Henson sent some visitors." He spoke rapidly, yet quietly, focusing about half of his attention on his conversation over the phone and half on listening to the men. "If I could deal with them, don't you think I would have already? Just get over here and be quick about it." He hung up and leaned forward again in order to slide the cellphone back into Andrew's pocket, freezing in place when he heard one of the men calling out. "We know you're in here kid; just give yourself up and we'll promise not to hurt ya too much!" Well, at least he knew part of their intentions now; they probably planned on kidnapping him, but judging from the fact that they had guns with them, they weren't opposed to killing him either. At the very least, it didn't seem like they knew that the blonde was with him, which, depending on how this played out in the end, could be bad or good.
~-OOC-~ Don't worry about it; it isn't short at all, I just write too much ^-^ It is quite amusing and adorable; I love the awkwardness of the situation XD

| Levi did have a few issues with coming off as snobbish, mainly because he still acted like a nineteen year old rather than a thirteen year old. He also had issues with the whole thirteen-year-old thing. He didn't appreciate being treated like a kid, and he didn't appreciate being too short to reach most things. He was supposed to be a feared businessman for crying out loud, and he was being treated like a cute little kid with animal ears! Regardless, this was currently the last of his worries. Unfortunately, whenever 'Lucien' was away, a lot of violence did occur. The main problem was how he acted when he maintained his nineteen year old form; he made a lot of people angry. So, when the angry people think Lucien is away, they take it upon themselves to get back at him by stealing from him, and either kidnapping or attempting to kill his younger brother. Thus, the closet was born. Normally, he would just beat them to a bloody pulp with the use of his superior intelligence, dexterity, and multiple weapons, however that didn't always work depending upon who was coming after him. On this particular occasion, with an innocent bystander and an exceedingly violent gang involved, he decided to hide in the closet, and wait until they left. It was the gang that he had sent a present to this afternoon; he recognized the voice of one of the men. Apparently, they hadn't appreciated his little gift. He always did survive these ordeals, just not always without a few injuries, and sometimes only after being kidnapped and escaping. Besides, a civilian was involved this time, and that made the situation just that much more complicated. "Just a little." He whispered softly in reply, barely focusing on the conversation at all. "As long as we stay here, nothing probably will happen..." He fell silent, cat ears twitching lightly as he tracked the movement of the men. Levi's eyes widened slightly when he felt Andrew's arms around his waist, pulling him closer to the 'older' male. The movement had mildly surprised him; he had pegged the blonde as timid and generally unused to dangerous situations, but he may have been wrong. Unfortunately, he really wasn't sure of this. He didn't know enough about the gang to calculate what their goal would be, killing or kidnapping him, and Andrew was here. It would not be good if he let the blonde get injured. It wasn't too bad if he got a little banged up, he knew he could handle it, but he wasn't too sure about him. His ears flattened against his head as the footsteps grew closer, and his body tensed slightly. In his head, he was rapidly calculating the possible options. So far, there were three. One, stay in the closet. Two, sneak out of the closet and try to attack the men. Three, sneak out of the closet and give himself up to, hopefully, just be kidnapped. No matter what, the blonde was staying the closet; it was just a matter of whether Levi would leave the closet or not. <---(Ridiculous paragraph involving coming out of closets XD) He considered his choices; the latter two had a high risk of him getting shot, while the former posed the risk of getting both of them shot. There was also a fourth option, but it was highly unlikely. Still, it ran the least risk of dying... "...Do you have a cellphone with you?" His whisper was incredibly quiet now, but they were close enough that it was easy to hear. If he could phone one of his contacts, there was a chance they would get here in time before it was too late. Regardless, this option was probably just as risky as the others, although, at the moment, it seemed to be the most appealing considering how long it would take the men to find the two of them in the closet amidst the junk cluttering the room.
~-OOC-~ ...I really want to write something involving the two of them coming out of the closet now XD But, seriously, I'm glad you're enjoying yourself and aren't confused yet ^-^
