Lexx was actually a little shocked when he actually accepted his friend request as he gave a smile. 'hey' he typed into the window wondering he was thinking the same as him. He just couldn't help but reach out for some type of friend that he could have. He was getting lonely and his teachers were actually starting to help him keep his schooling in room for the most part.

Returning back to his own dorm room, no sounds were heard inside which was a good sign. His roommate was off in a deep sleep sprawled out on his bed. Running his fingers through his hair, Cade sank down in the chair of his desk. His laptop flickered on when he moved the mouse to its side. Opening up several things on the desktop, he noticed he had a friend request. "How'd he..." Cade wondered just how he had managed to get his email. Accepting the request, he raised an eyebrow. "Guess it wouldn't hurt to talk online." The male muttered spinning around in his chair boredly. Playing the movie he was watching earlier, he leaned back in the chair.

Lexx heard what he said and felt bad. he never meant for his own pain to cause that to others. They were never to know of this as he grabbed all the things his teacher gave him he was quick to go and shut the door though that was when he looked up Cade's email from the student listing as the teachers had given it to him thinking he would pick out his attackers though he sent him a friend request for Iming so maybe on the web they could be friends. Maybe just maybe that would work.

Lex's words reached his ears, and Cade hesitated to stop. His mind told him one thing, but his instinct wanted the opposite. No one was out here, so what harm would it do. Coming to a pause, he didn't turn around to face Lex. "Technically it probably was, and I take full responsibility....but it doesn't matter anymore." Cade shrugged, turning slightly. "I've promised to leave you alone, stay out of things...." He began. "Seems like you've got to be somewhere, better go on before anyone decides to come out.." Cade warned, only to continue in the opposite direction. He had to admit there was something about Lex that interested him, but the thought was brushed aside as soon as he entered another hallway where two boys were talking about something. Walking by them, he noticed them send a look his way, apparently things weren't settling down.

Lexx turned and watched him as he gave a sigh. "I'm sorry......for what I said" he called out to Cade. He felt that he shouldn't have told him he had made it worse. It might have been but he didn't know. "It wasn't your fault and I'm sorry I blamed you" he said to him though he wasn't even sure if the guy would even listen. He remembered him saying that he was in the group with him but even with him saying that he must be a good actor or something for he hadn't even seen any signs that he was.

Shoving both hands into the depths of his pockets, Cade found himself down the wing Lex's room was in. He knew he wasn't going to stop and check on him, he had promised he'd keep out of matters. I shouldn't care... he thought, turning a corner to come face to face with Lex. Surprised to see him there, Cade soon reminded himself he wasn't going to even speak to him. The male brushed by him, continuing on his way.

Lexx was still in there as he had started to email his teachers telling them that he need the assignment and even got a few things from them. They were dropping off a few things for him to cook up in the mircowave he had so that he would still be leaving. he was going to try and get something set up so that he could be out and about while all the others were in their dorms. though when he opened the door to get the things he saw Cade there as he was a little more than shocked to see him. Though he was grateful no one else was in the hallway at the time.

Taking those words he had said that day to Lex, Cade kept his word by staying out of those affairs. No longer would he bother to try and defend or help him. It wasn't his concern any longer, atleast he tried not to make it. The male simply went on with what he normally did. From day to day he'd go to his classes and hang out with his friends often getting remarks about Lex which pissed him off quite abit. He had come to notice though that he hadn't seen him in a few days. Had he left the school? Or perhaps just wasn't attending class.

Stuffing a handful of chips into his mouth, he sat down against the chair to his desk within his room. His eyes were plastered to the laptop screen which was playing some action movie. The door behind him opened to reveal his roommate and another male. "Yeah who knows where that guy went, I hear hes still in his room. Hasn't come out for days....lunatic." He said. The other one only cracked up, "Good, we don't want some gay walking around school anyway." he said. Cade almost choked on the chips, but soon swallowed them down. "Hey shut the hell up, Im trying to watch a movie." He said eating more chips. His mind urging him to go actually check up on Lex. He couldn't stay in his room forever. Placing the chips down, Cade closed the laptop and exited the room. "Try not to mess the place up like last time." He warned his roommate before taking his walk along the hallways.

The moment he was out of the room lexx had jumped up and locked the door. He was fearful now. he didn't want to leave this room. And thats just what he did. He locked himself in and didn't leave. He wasn't heard from for a good four days didn't even show up for class. He would eat whatever he had stored in the room itself as it was enough to live off of for a few more days but he was starting to go low on the drinks and clean clothes and he knew that he wasn't going to be able to stay in the room forever though he wished that he could.

Watching his expression twist into one of tears and upset, Cade fell silent by that point. His words dug pretty deep. "Im sorry I intervened.....I'll just back off from now on." He said, that cold expression playing across his face. Opening the door, Cade stepped out of the room while closing it behind him. Stepping along the hallway, he couldn't help but feel it was entirely his fault for this whole mess. Not only were the other boys picking at Lex, but it was getting worse now. Rubbing the back of his neck, he turned a corner while bumping into one of the other boys. "You still hanging around that fag, Cade?" The other boy snickered. Shoving him up against the wall, Cade stared him right in the eyes. "Cut the crap, I'm not going to deal with it..." He growled, dropping the other boy before heading on his way towards one of his classes.

Lexx didn't hear what he was saying at least not fully. "It doesn't matter to that they see me and just me standing to what I am and I'm not force so just stop it. you made it worse" he cried out as tears finally came. he hadn't cried in a long time but he was now and he couldn't stop them as he curled up just let everything leave him. He didn't want this life anymore. He had came here for the classes and it actually had just went back to being a boys school three years back so most of the boys that were seniors were still pretty pissed and were on a hunt for guys like him. Though lexx kept to himself he was once a proud gay but after the months here he became broken.

Coming upon the room number, Cade carefully managed to keep Lex up while opening the door to get him inside. Once he was in, Cade layed him across his bed. Listening to what he was saying, he was rather upset he thought that way. Heck the same would be said about himself if anyone knew but Cade would have fought back to keep those other boys from messing with him. Closing the door behind him, Cade leaned against it. "Being gay doesn't mean your a monster, if that was true then half this school would be the same. Hell I would be included in that." He suddenly spat out, not really catching his words before it was too late. Shit.. he thought knowing it had already been said. He couldn't take it back.
