| A few guidelines I've noticed for placing RPs that could fit multiple subjects...
Actual Anime takes priority over any other subject with one exception. Actual Anime only takes priority over Yaoi and Yuri if the relation is canon.
Yaoi and Yuri take priority over anything with the exception listed above.
Everything else goes to whichever genre fits best.
Mature, Main, and Descriptive boards have little priority - 90% of topics are marked "Mature" in the subject, and there aren't a lot of RPs that don't fit any of the subjects listed. Though, people will put it under Descriptive if they're specifically looking for 3-6 paragraph-length posts.

| Depending on which genre you'd like to roleplay, post on a specific board. Fantasy for things like vampires, werewolves, fairies or magic. Yaoi for boy on boy type roleplays, Yuri for girl on girl type roleplays. If you want to roleplay slave, that goes on the slave board. If you're looking for a love or romance roleplay, place it on the romance board etc etc.
Next, you create a New Topic on that board. In the title, you place your title and in parenthesis, put a quick overview of what you are looking for, much like what you will see on the boards from other members. (M/M) stands for Mature, and they are seeking a Male roleplayer. (M/F) means mature and seeking a female roleplayer. (M/P) means Mature and that roleplay is private and no one else can join.
If you see a roleplay that has already been responded to, try PMing the original poster and asking if you can join before posting on their topic.
Or if you are looking for more specifics, in your title, say (Read OOC). OOC means Out Of Character, its where you can chat with the other member in your roleplay. Keep in mind to read the rules please and if you intend for your roleplay to get mature, put it in the title or in the first post in your OOC.
This should just about explain the entire process of starting your own roleplay. If you want to know how to reply to someone elses roleplay, read the FAQ or some of the other topics on this board.
