Broken Half

As I look up, he walks in the room,
I study him, not sure what to do.
The sound of his presense,
The smell of his voice,
Makes my heart sink,
But I don't have a choice.
I look down to think,
I wanted to run, but I cannot hide,
The sadness within, the pain inside.
His voice worms into my head,
I sit there wishing that I were dead.
The pain deepens as I hear his laugh,
Tears well up as I try mending my broken half.
It isn't fair what he did to me,
But now I know, now I see,
His beautiful blue eyes, his wonderful smell,
They don't matter now, as my tear fell.
