It was getting late Cadense yawned and ran his hand through his unruly blonde hair. He growned when he heard the door open, it was closing time and he wanted to go home.
He looked up, but once he saw the tall hot red entering the pawn shop, he perked up and quickly straightened out his brown sports coat and checked to make sure his navy blue silk button up shirt was clean...
Cadense popped a breath mint into his mouth and put on his best smile hoping she would take notice of him while she looked over the jewelry cases.
However he noticed by the woman's apparel that she was obviously a woman of class and couldn't help but wonder why she would come shopping at place like this.
"How much......for my lost jewel" Elizabeth asked Cadense stiffened meeting her gaze, "Uh... you mean this," he asked? putting his own hand over the case. At that moment the gem vanished and reappeared in his opposite hand. Cadense quickly regained his composure and grinned smugly... seeing the potential to make a lot of cash.
He studied the blood red stone a little closure, "Something this old is probably worth a lot of money," he mused out loud.
The stone vanished once again, "Come by early tomorrow mourning with a suitcase full of cash and I'll give it to you no questions asked," he said, patting lumb in his left chest pocket.
