| But of course she was used to her transformation by now. After all, she had been a kitsune for the past ten years, and her ears and tails had been seen with varying levels of acceptance. Some people wanted to cuddle with her like her tails made her some sort of stuffed animal, some devout religious people wanted to go as far as to crucify her as a demon. But whatever the case was, Ran had grown to love her transformation. Seta extended his arm out to her, and the first thing Ran was able to notice was the aura eminating from the tattoo on his arm. For half a moment she considered running, but then she once again looked into his eyes and realized that there was no escape. It was past midnight, she belonged to him and as far as she could be concerned, there was none stronger than him in heaven, hell, earth, or limbo. So, she took his hand with her right, as her tails wrapped around her body. With her left arm she hugged one close to her, much like a stuffed toy. _________________ This is Chen. Chen is a catgirl. | She was curious, which was customary he would guess for someone who was in her position. His black hair fell against his face as a breeze rolled through the trees, and he watched as her hair danced too. She was beautiful and was taking to the transformation well. Her body was growing accustomed to the changes that he had placed on her. Her eyes were brilliant, just like his and would glow in the dark. Her tails all looked so healthy and silky. He was rather proud of himself for picking such a great specimen.
"Seta Kinte," He answered with a short word, bowing his head to her again. He tilted his head up and extended his arm out to her, his face a picture of calm serenity. On his arm was the serpents tattoo where his demon form was locked away tightly - for the time being. His extended fingers looked so soft and delicate in the light and then his lips turned into a slight smile. "Shall I show you your new home, Ran?" |

| Because of that cloak he wore ten years ago, Ran had never seen what he actually looked like. She didn't even have any idea if he was the size of a human, or a monstrous size, or even just tiny; as she had seen many demons alter their appearance to attempt to get close to her without arousing alarm. For all it was worth, even a name would have helped her plot a connection to a human side of him, at least so he wouldn't be as scary in her mind. So at last when he stepped out of the shadows, she was able to see him for the first time. He looked human - well, about as human as he could, considering Ran knew him for what he really was. Their golden yellow eyes locked onto each other, and Ran's tails gave a light shiver behind her. For all it was worth, she couldn't even remember what her eye color had been before the change, but she had thought her golden eyes to be beautiful, attractive. Now they were just something she had in common with her... ahem, "master". A blush came across her face as she looked at him, but then again how could anyone not be attracted - the demon was a model bishounen, and even worse was that he had no shirt, so Ran's eyes were forced to take in every part of his body in detail. "Good... evening..." she said warily, giving an involuntary shudder as he spoke. Then, to her surprise, he bowed in front of her. "What is your name...?" Ran dared herself to ask. _________________ This is Chen. Chen is a catgirl. Chen is a member of a dying race. | Being a Demon Lord had it's wondrous perks. He had so many demons at his disposal who would do anything that he wanted. He had a harem of beautiful demon women who could fulfill any of his many desires, he had his own dark castle in the dark land, and was extremely powerful. What more could a demon ask for?
Nothing, that's what. Except maybe to have a few loyal pets who added their own flavor to the mix of his life. Every Demon Lord had pets, and he had been chastised again and again for not having any. Personally, Seta didn't like the idea of having creatures who were dependent upon him. At least, at first he didn't like the idea. Then he met that poor, innocent little girl and everything had changed.
Now, today was the day that she was going to be his, and he just couldn't wait. She would be the first step to his transformation, and he had been waiting for quite some time in the forest that night, his golden eyes glowing eerily with their demon precision.
Then she was there, walking in the distance and he could feel it in his bones. He moved through the trees as he felt the seconds tick by. With every step that he took time passed faster. He could feel the restriction between them loosen, and then finally...as her beautiful voice reached his ears that restriction fell away. He sucked in a deep breath and tilted his head back, his long black hair falling down his bare back as he stepped out of the trees in front of her.
"Good evening, my dear. Happy Birthday," He spoke in his rich deep voice that was chilling to the bone. His eyes sparkled slightly as he looked at her and bowed in front of her. |

| You may not know it just by looking at me, but I was born with the ability to cast powerful magic. It was for this reason that the first seven years of my life have been long and hard. Every day, I ran, fearful that I would be caught by demons, all of whom wish to use my power for their own purposes. At last, on my seventh birthday, I was cornered by a number of demons. As I prepared for my life as a demon's pet, there was a bloodcurdling scream, and a single demon stood beside me. I couldn't see his features but for a cloak he wore, but I could tell from his posture and voice that he was smiling. "You know they want you because of your powers..." he proposed. "I have a deal for you. If you agree that I may have you in ten years' time, I will take away your powers so that you may live a normal life..." he stated, conjuring up a document and pen. A smart person would have run. A strong person would have fought. I submitted to his will and signed that damned document. As soon as my signature was dried on that paper, he performed two major deeds to my person before vanishing. The first thing he did was place his hand on my head, so that I would remember this day forever. The second thing he did was place a light blue rune on my back, and I became a demon. A fox demon, to be exact. It has been exactly 9 years and 364 days since my deal was set in stone, and no matter how much I try to enjoy myself, my mind drifts back to that day. I'm normally friendly and outgoing, but today I have left everyone behind, ready to accept my fate, yet unwanting to leave everything behind. I am currently walking in the forest, and the time is now 11:59 and 45 seconds. Tears running down my face, I slowly sing "Happy birthday" to myself, as my mind counts down the last seconds of my freedom. _________________ This is Chen. Chen is a catgirl.
