Rose Hathaway....
Thats my name well not my full name but you dont need
to know that all you need to know is that I am a Damphir.
Half vampire, half human. I am also training to be a
guardian... or I was before I took my best friend away from
the Academy. Her name is Lissa and she is a Moroi which
is a full blooded vampire with morals and the use of
elemental magic.

We had escaped the Academy because of some danger that
we both felt. I felt I needed to protect her and so we left and
for the last two years we have been on the run from Strigoi
which are evil vampires that the humans always talk about.
Well now on to present events.

Rose sat in the Headmistress' Office while she berated her for
running away with Lissa and putting her into more danger from
the Moroi-hunting Strigoi. Though they never had a run in with
them for two years. The guardian that had brought them in was
standing behind them and actually stood up for Rose. "I do not
think that sending her away from the Academy is a good idea.
We are short on guardians as it is." a good looking Russian man
said solemnly.

"She is two years behind every other novice her age. She will
have to do double the training and we do not have anyone to
spare at the moment. Unless you are volunteering Guardian
Belikov?" Stated the Headmistress.

Rose could feel Lissa's tension and fear thin and be replaced
by hope. How could she not hope for Rose to stay when they
were best friends and they had this incredible link. Rose moved
her hand to Lissa's arm but tried to keep her mouth shut since
she had been arguing with everyone about staying until now.
She wondered if Guardian Belikov would agree to this for two
reasons. He was really cute and she HAD to stay with Lissa no
matter what. She needed to be nearby.
