" Catreece, wake up...." a female voice called out to her room-mate calmly from within the dark room. Catreece, who was still in bed, just groaned and rolled over in response. " Catreece...." the female voice called out once more through a sigh as she walked up beside the white bed and gave her feline friend a tug on the shoulder with one of her black, furry hands. " Nya....five more minutes, V...." Catreece yawned out as she continued to just lay there on her side. " You've been saying that for the past half hour, so get up....now...." Vladdia muttered as she suddenly kicked the side of the bed, knocking it over with Catreece still in it. The bed was easy to kick over since it was just a twin-sized bed. When the bed landed on Catreece, she jumped and scrambled to her feet, completely awake now. " Trying to flatten me with the bed again, I see?!" Catreece yelled after she was on her feet, a deep frown crossing her face. " Never trust a mouse...." Catreece muttered through a sigh as she shook her head. " Look, that's the only way I can get you out of the bed....now come on and get ready, we're going to be late...." Vladdia stated in a nonchallant voice as she walked out of the bedroom.

Catreece blinked and paused for a moment, smiling a little when she realized that today was finally the day. " Oh yeah, I almost forgot! Today's the day we're gonna start going to that new school....hm, I wonder if it'll be like our old high school....?" Catreece said as she pulled out a pair of jeans and a shirt before she went off to the bathroom to freshen up. Vladdia did not respond to Catreece's pondering statements. Instead, she just silently sat there on the couch in the living room, secretly pondering about what the new high school would be like as well. She stood up and walked into the kitchen, grabbing a piece of toast for breakfast just when Catreece walked into the kitchen as well. " Okay, I'm ready--nya, toast! Thanks V, you're too kind!" Catreece said, smiling as she took Vladdia's toast from her and began to munch on it. " I'll let that one slide, now come on...." Vladdia muttered through her slight monotone voice as she grabbed her bookbag and walked out the door with Catreece following behind her. They were new to the school, so they had to come earlier to complete the registration process or else they would have to wait even longer. Vladdia was not a very patient person, so she preferred to leave early.
