Vincent frowned as he tugged the folded sheet of paper out of his back pocket. As he glanced at the first period on his schedule he spoke. "Aww, man. History first? I hate that class." Truth was, he didn't even bother looking at his schedule before just now. Kind of a ritual of his. Surprise him for the classes he'd have with his friends. "Shit. Who's got Biology second?" Summer slithered her arm around his. "Are you seriously implying you haven't looked at your classes? Haha, you dork. Good thing I love you." She smiled in a flirty way at Vincent.

Summer could tell that Corinne was jealous. Guess you'd call that "girl's intuition". Girls always knew things, even when they weren't completely obvious. But in Corinne's case, it was pretty much plastered all over her face when Summer got too close to Vincent. There was no way he felt that way about Corinne, right? No. They'd have already been together since they'd been friends so long. But the way Vincent had talked about her.....maybe they had mutual feelings. Summer shrugged off the ominous thoughts and tossed her hair over her shoulders, smiling at Dominic and Corinne without spite. She was a fantastic liar. "So, are you two, like, together? You seem pretty close." Vincent choked back a laugh but failed. "Ha, funny, Sum. Yeah, right. Dom couldn't get Cor to go out with him if he was the last guy on earth. She'd probably become a lesbian first." He stuck his tongue out playfully at the couple of them before changing the subject. "Sum? Don't you have first period math too? Maybe you've got the same class with them." With slender fingers and perfectly polished black nails, she slid her paper from her Atreyu messenger bag and glanced over the classes. "Yup. Algebra with Mr. Prinkey. Well isn't that an awful name." She giggled and slid it back into a pink folder before snapping the bag shut.

The bell rang loudly, letting the student body know that they had ten minutes to get their asses to class. "Damn. Guess we'll see each other at lunch? Or does this school have a fifteen minutes break after second period like middle school? Whatever. We can meet up by the cafeteria if none of us have classes together before then. See ya!" Vincent adjusted his coffin-covered red and gray backpack over his shoulder and headed to class. Unfortunately the history building was all the way across campus from the front where they were standing.

Summer re-adjusted her bag as well, pulling the single strap over her head so that it lay across her body. "Ready to go? i hope you guys know where the room is, 'cause I sure as hell don't. Spent too much time this last week with Vincent to have looked at a campus map." She couldn't help but love sticking little brags into her sentences. It was so fun to mess with people. And she loved feeling like she was winning. There was no way Vincent would leave her for that other girl. There was just no way.

Her hand slowly rose from her side brushing aside the spikes of black bangs behind her ear, her lips curving into that smile she often put on when lying to her parents. It wasn't her genuine smile, but it was convincing. Corryn's eyes focused on first her friend who had greeted her warmly, "You missed out alot this summer, Dom and I we're racking up those kills on Halo. Oh and we totally just got the new beatles rockband game." Corrine tried to put off the subject of girlfriend off her mind by trying to fill it with other thoughts but that was turning out to be difficult. Especially with that look Summer was sending her way. Love wasn't a competition, but apparently Corryn was losing. Placing the thought at the far end of her mind, her hand finally made the motion of rising up from her side ot shake the other girl's. The feeling of tension sure arose, atleast from Corryn's end. Forcing her own light smirk, she was going to play this off like it didn't bother her one bit.

"Pleasure to meet you. About time Vincent got himself a girlfriend, I was begining to wonder-" her words were cut off when the poor girl was suddenly almost knocked down by the weight of a boy's body. This boy being none other than another one of her close friends, Dominic. With the impact came Corryn's immediate reaction, and that was to shift her weight to level out her footing and turn around only to slam her fist right into the black haired boy's arm roughly. "You ass, do that again and I might kill you next time." She said seriously, her tone slowly smoothing out to a gentle one. "Well maybe if you werent daydreaming..." Dom joked turning to look at both Vincent and Summer now. " Dude glad your back, Corryn here wouldnt stop...." the boy paused, Corryn cutting in. "Sorry about that, Dominic here is an idiot."she said shoving Dominic lightly now, "Yeah yeah, so whats everyone got first period? I'm stuck in math..." a long sigh followed his words as he shoved both hands within the depths of his pockets, his eyes shifting from each perso in the group.

Mind troubled, and unable to process any thoughts Corrine was the one to fall silent and glance around. Feeling Dominic's arm slink over her shoulders, she finally spoke. "Oh right, I've got math too. Easy as pie, you know I own at math." She grinned.

Vincent didn't have that many friends that were girls. Not that he didn't like them or anything, hell, he loved them. What guy didn't? He didn't have that many because, well, they were like a different species. Always worried about appearances and all. They didn't like the same things that Vincent and his guy friends did. Except one. Corinne. She was a tomboy, and honestly the best friend Vince had ever had in his life. Even more so than the guys because you could talk to her seriously about something for more than 3 and a half seconds. She laughed at their immature jokes, played video games, listened to the same bands...she was practically one of the guys. Vince had pretty much always thought of her as one...

-3 Months Ago-
Vincent stood on the front porch with Corinne, watching the sunset. The last he'd see with her that summer. The next day he'd be departing for a small town across the country, with no cell service or internet. For practically three fucking months, he would have no contact with any of his friends. What would he do without Corinne? Then he thought about high school and how they were starting next year. There was a long pause after Corinne complained about how he'd be missing in action on Halo. Vincent broke the calm silence. "Hey, Cor? Do you think we'll change?" She responded by shoving him off the porch with a grin. He grinned back. Nope. Nothing would ever change between them, would it?

-Present-
Vincent entered the school grounds, arm wrapped arm the skinny shoulders of a thin blond girl. Her bleached hair was puffed out on the top and accented with a large bow clip. He couldn't wait for Corinne to meet Summer, his new girlfriend. Vince's parents decided to cut their vacation with the relatives short to spend the rest of break at home. Of course, Vincent hit the mall. He called up his friends, but Corinne's phone was off (probably dead from texting) and the others were busy with "important" halo missions. At that he'd promptly rolled his eyes. So he went alone. While searching through Hot Topic's cds, he'd bumped into Summer, who'd been wearing a band shirt with the same band as the shirt that Vincent had currently been wearing. And once they began talking, it was like they had a ton in common. He asked her out, she said yes, and voila! Girlfriend. He figured that since Summer had so much in common with himself, and himself with Corinne, then by definitive property they'd adore each other. Then Cor would have a girl friend instead of just guys. All problems solved, right?
Not really.
Summer looked at the girl before her, as Vincent tapped her shoulder. She turned around, sporting a rather surprised look. Her expression was...a little upset? Disappointed? What? Was Vincent too good for her or something? Summer grimaced slightly. "Cor!" Vince hugged her tightly for a moment before introducing the two. "This is my girlfriend Summer. Summer, this is Corinne." Summer extended a hand slowly. "Pleasure," she smirked, squinting her eyes a little.

I May Not Be As Pretty As She Is....

She was the tomboy, the odd girl who‘d kick anyones ass, and even at times the scene emo chick. These labels didnt bother her, she simply found herself to be different. She didnt need to be like those girls in the size 3 or 4s, or the ones with the really tiny mini skirts. Which really didnt even meet the qualifications of a skirt. But anyways she had her friends. All of them guys, they each saw her as just another one of the guys since half the time she'd be beating them at videogames, or often participating in their rough play. She didnt care what anyone said, they were practically the older brothers she never had. They'd always be friends, nothing more. Or so atleast thats all she thought through elementary school. That next school year changed everything, though.

→Three months ago
Corinne stood on the porch of her home, both arms crossed over her chest as she allowed her back to rest against the wall. It was the end of their 8th grade year, they'd be moving onto highschool now only in a few months. Though this summer was different, he was going off to visit family and well....she was stuck here. Although she hated to admit it, things just wouldnt be the same without him here. Shaking her head she looked up at him, "I cant believe you wont be here, who the hell is suppose to play halo with me? You know I have the worst luck of getting stuck with a bunch of noobs...." she joked, reaching forward to slam her fist into his arm playfully.
She remembered that day like it had been yesterday. The last thing he had asked her was if they would change? She of course gave him her usual goofy grin, and shook her head before shoving him off the porch.

→present
The sun peeked in through the cracks between the curtains, allowing the orange rays to spill over her face. After a few minutes of constantly pushing snooze on the alarm clock, her sister had come barging in and practically thrown her out of bed. Corinne groaned rubbing her eyes as she tiredly stepped around her room. "Five more minutes and I would have been up...." the dark haired girl muttered. Her sister rolled her eyes, "Hurry up, I'm going to leave with out you. And try to look somewhat decent.." the older girl said, watching Corinne pull on a black shirt with the words Love is the movement in white on the front along with a pair of red jeans. She had her style, and she wasnt about to change it to impress some guys. Who needed a boyfriend
anyways. Finally changed; the two girls headed on out the door, towards the car. Corinne couldnt exactly drive yet, and she didnt want to take the bus this year. Getting in, she sighed wondering what the first day of high school would be like. Minutes later they had pulled into the parking lot; Each girl getting out, and heading their seperate ways. Both Corinne and her sister were complete opposites, she was well...preppy and Corinne was…well not.
Making her way around the school yard, she glanced about looking for any sight of her friends. Her mind often spacing out into her thoughts. Corinne came to a stop, frowning as she crossed her arms, "This is gay..." she muttered feeling like a loser amongst the different students. Finally she felt someone tap on her shoulder, and with that she spun around to meet her best
friend. Though to her surprise he was with another girl. Deep down the brunette felt... jealous, but why?

.....But I'll Sure As Hell Try My Best

[[Ok basically need a guy, who is her best friend. He sees her as just another one of the guys, his best buds or whatever and she does until now. She realizes she likes him, but he has a girlfriend. So now she wants to prove she isnt just another one of the guys, but more than that lol....if any of that makes sense. I also want the girlfriend to be a total bitch to Corinne lol which is why the two are always arguing. But anyways possibly mature, but it'll be down the line and please dont oneline. PLease have a picture Very Happy
