(OCC: Shot gun huh? Hmm, I was thinking this more of Feudal Era-like time but I suppose there's nothing wrong with some modern stuff. Then again its a open world with no real background so it doesn't really matter; well build as we go lol)

Norpheus was just grateful to have a roof over his and Yulina's head. While he did have the resources and means to stay in a hotel, he much preferred some place they could relax without worrying about more unsavory individuals. His daughter always came first when it came to these things so he always kept her safety in mind whenever visiting or staying at any place.

It was the reason he had decided to go with this in the first place, there was something about Natsuye that let him know that she was a good person and could be trusted.

"I'll manage." He decided not to comment further on the snoring. "Again, I thank you for housing us like this Natsuye since you really didn't have too."

"Well,I do but he is still a puppy.I had a friend give him to me since I am alone here at the house.She thought he would be a good friend and a good watch dog once he got old enough.Heh...he actually gets along quite well with the cats.They will play with each other from time to time.Anyway,he already let's me know when someone comes near the house.So,I am grateful for that.That is why I keep him inside with me at night.In case he hears something.That way I can get the shot gun if I need to.

Anyway,this will be your room Norpheus.It is a little bigger then the others but I figure since you are the man you should have this room.Plus,it used to be my parents room so any clothes that are in the closet or drawers don't be afraid to use.Yulina has one of the smaller rooms but that is because I am putting her next to your room in case she would wake up needing something through the night.The door stright ahead of us is the bathroom,so you will be close to it in case you need to use it.My bedroom is across from yours Norpheus.Although,I hope I don't snore to loud and keep you up."

"That would be appreciated." Norpheus said sincerely as he followed her, taking mental notes of what around the house needed to be fixed or replaced. Natsuye was going to run herself in the ground at this rate. A farm this large was hardly meant for any one person but rather a family of at least a few people. However he understood her not wanting to part with it, first it was her home and secondly it had too many memories for her to simply sell.

"You have dogs too Nat?" Yulina asked the young woman, she was just as cheerful and happy as ever.

"It's alright.In a way it was kind of nice.It has been a long time since I have been scolded like that.Reminds me of my father.....in a good way though.He used to get angry when I used to say things like that in front of him as well.I think that why I keep myself so busy at times.So,I don't have to think about him or mama.It makes things less painful and it keeps me from crying.Anyway,let me show you both to your rooms.I am sure you would like to at least rest a little while before having to wash up."

"Stop that." Norpheus said gently but firmly. "You might not have been able to be where you want exactly in life, or do everything you'd think you would be able to do. But there isn't any doubt you've been a bit successful. Do you realize that many other females your age would have long ago given up by now? I know many that would not have gotten as far as you have on your own right now. Because of the society we live in, its much harder for a woman make her own living then it is for that of a man in most places. You've done well, be proud of yourself, don't belittle what you've already done."

The Seraph then chuckled. "Forgive me Natsuye, I didn't meant to lecture you. I just hate it when people bring themselves down."

"Oh,I have a garden....it's just that....well,you see....that is the one thing I am not very good at.I just can't seem to get anything to grow.Same way with plants.I love them but I always end up killing them.Anyway,I eat vegetables.I help others and in return they give me canned vegetables.Also,to answer your other question...yes,both my parents tied to help me several times with gardening but it never did me any good.I am still a complete failure at it.Just like I am with pretty much everything else!"

Even though Norpheus clearly knew what Natsuye was referring to when she said gifted, he wasn't going to further embarrass her. Secondly he was a gentleman and tried not to ogle at girls just because they happened to be very beautiful. Natsuye was undoubtedly very pretty and more then a bit physically attractive but that wasn't the first thing that drew Norpheus; but he would frankly be lying if that didn't play a part.

"What about growing your own garden?" Norpheus said suddenly. "Is that something you learned from your mother or father? You can't eat meat all the time and the things you have to do to prepare meat normally are a bit on the..unsavory side. Even for myself. "

"Well,you don't have to wear them.It's just that I fugured since they are collecting dust in the closet that you might like to wear them.If they need hemmed or anything I can do it.I know how to sew.Mama taught me.See the dress I have on?I took of dress of my mothers and hemmed it and made it to fit me.Heh...I guess you can say she was almost as gifted as me in certain ways."

With a blush rushing to her face,she looked down at her feet,trying to hide the embarrassment on her face.

"Don't worry Norpheus.You and your daughter are a nice welcome to home that has been empty for quite a long time."

OOC:Sorry about that.Anyway,I will give you a description here that way you have an idea of what the place looks like.

It is a 2 story home.

Upstairs:5 rooms upstairs.One is a sewing room while three of them are bedrooms.....one small and the other two medium sized.There is also a good sized bathroom with a clawfoot tub,toilet and sink in.

Downstairs:Medium sized kitchen and living room.Medium sized dining room.1 small washroom with sink and toilet and a mudroom where she does the laundry and keeps canned goods....when she has them

The outside is white with a wrap around porch that is also white.

A large barn that hold the cattle and sheep while there is a chicken coop outside the barn that houses several hens and roosters.There is also a small garden out back that is growing some vegetables as well but are not growing like she had wished.

Anyway,it is to big just for her.Yet,she tries to take care of it. on her own since it was her father's way of making a living.It isn't filthy or scummy but it is lived in and hasn't been dusted for awhile.Plus there are a few things faling apart like cabinet doors in the kitchen and the screen door on the back of the house. A few broken windows that children have thrown rocks at.Oh and the leg on the one chair is broken and sits lopsided.As far as the color of the rooms I will explain more as we go on.Hope that helps.

(OCC: You think can describe just a bit how the place looks? I hate descrpition too about houses and the like but some times its needed to give people an idea)

Norpheus wasn't sure if he was comfortable with the idea of having Natsuye let her borrow her deceased father's clothes. More of because that it belonged to someone precious to her that was no longer around and he didn't know the young well enough in his opinion to borrow them.

"Are you sure about me borrowing your father's clothes? I don't want to impose on you, Natsuye." Norpheus was still a bit troubled about that dark feeling he had sensed before they left town. He shouldn't worry but he couldn't help it. If it was hostile then Yulina and Natsuye wouldn't be able to defend themselves from it, that much he knew.

"Um....not really.Not that I can think of really.I can show you to your rooms so you know where you will be staying though.I will have to change the sheets sine no one has stayed in the rooms for quite a long time and I will have to get some quilts out for you to use.If you would like you and your daugter may get washed if you like.There is a bathroom upstairs that I can lead you to if you want.By the time you are done I should be done with my nightly chores.Oh and I may have something for Yulina to wear for bed if she would like to wear it.Mama kept alot of my clothes from when I was younger.Also,maybe some of my father's clothing may fit you.That is if you would like to try them on."

Surprisingly or not, the cats didn't seem scared of Yulina, at least some of them didn't. They stood some cautious distance from her before one came forward. The small angel looked at it then smiled, petting the small creature which purred. For whatever reason, the cats, or at least some of them seemed to trust the small girl despite her wings. It was probably due to the facts that animals could pick up things normal people couldn't.

"Is there anything I can assist you with?" Norpheus asked, looking around the house as he walked in. The place seemed a far too big for any one person to reasonably look after.

"Trust me...it really isn't that much.You and your father have already given me more then I could you.Also,you don't have to hide your wings while you are here.If anything they are quite beautiful.I love to see you with them out.

Well.I better show you inside.I can help you both get settled before doing a few chores out in the barn.oh,and if the cats are afraid of you don't be surprised.They are not used to other people being around.In all honesty all they know is me because I got them after my parents died."
