Chiyo slept right through him leaving her. As she did wake up it was when he was coming back into the room. She looked to him with small smile as she just wasn't all that sure what she should say as she looked to him. "Hey" she finally said as she just couldn't think of anything to talk about.

Kai woke up the next morning, feeling better than he had the day before - after all, what was sleep for? He sat up and looked to his side, brushing Chiyo's bangs out of her face for her and chuckled. He stood up then, and went out to get the mail, hoping that Chiyo wouldn't mind his absence.

Chiyo looked to him with a smile as she nodded her head. "I really just happy" she said to him as she watched him fall asleep. It made her feel a little better about what was going on.

Kai frowned. "But you're all red..." and arched an eyebrow. "Are you sure?" he asked. Then he sat back, still frowning. "Tell me if you need anything, hm? I'm going to rest for a while." He threw a smile at her, and then fell asleep, his head lolling to the side and his eyes falling closed.

Chiyo couldn't believe it as she felt that this was so out of place for her. "Oh...no I'm okay" she though as she felt his forehead against her own she blushed at how it felt. For him to be so close she blushed deeper. "Just fine really" she said to him with a smile.

Kai smiled, to reassure her. "Alright, I'll stay here." Running his fingers though her hair, he sat down again and ran a thumb over her cheek to wipe the tears away. Looking closer, he blinked and saw her cheeks tinged pink. "Are you getting sick?" he asked worriedly, and then leaned closer to brush her forehead with his own.

Chiyo looked back up to him as she heard him try to leave and shook her head. "NO! please don't leave" she cried out as tears came. She didn't want him to leave her. Just the thought of being alone scared her more than she would like it. She wanted him there with her. As she felt his hand on her hair she blushed and looked up to him. He had always been a crush of hers

Kai frowned. "Hm. That's a problem." He sighed a little bit. This was a little bit much to take it. Then he stood up again, his knees making a loud cracking sound. He winced a bit, but that expression was replaced by a soft smile.
"Do you need some space by yourself? I mean, I could go away if you want some time for yourself. I feel like I'm intruding in your space or something." He shrugged a little bit, patting the girl's hair affectionately.

Chiyo looked to him as she really didn't know. As she put her shirt back on and laid back down she looked to him. "I heard them mumbling but I havn't a clue what was being said.

Kai smiled. "It's good that you're being honest with me," he remarked. Then he ran a hand over her arm and the bandages, feeling accomplished. Then he helped her back into her shirt gently.
Then he muttered under his breath, "I wonder what those guys wanted."

Chiyo looked to him as he started undo her old bandages as she would wince from time to time due to the pulling of dry blood but as he started to put the new ones on she felt a little better. Though as she heard his question she couldn't help but nod her head. "Yeah a little.
