Chiyo looked to him as she heard him speak about her stomach wound as she nodded her head. The bleeding had yet to stop but it had slowed down and that was a start though she had already lost a pint of blood and that in it self was horrible. Her skin was already starting to palen from the lose of blood.

'You don't know why he was there?" Kai's brow furrowed. "You didn't know what he wanted?" He leaned back into his seat. Then he eyed Chiyo's arm. "Does it hurt?"

Chiyo looked to him as she wasn't sure what to think as she heard what he said she tried to stay awake as she nodded her head to him. "I went.....back to....get something.....he just....showed up and.....we struggled and he shot me.....I got the gun......shot him" she winced for a moment before going back to the story. "I dropped it and....ran" she said to him as she just didn't know

Kai didn't like seeing her in pain, and he held her against him. "Shh..." he whispered. "It's out. You'll be fine."
He stroked her hair, closing his eyes.
"Do you want to tell me the story now? The whole story?"

Chiyo gave a cry as she felt his tweezers go in as she tried her best to keep still for him though as he pulled the bullet out she cried out in pain finally as she knew that she could. Though as she felt him put a towel over her side she felt her head start to get dizzy as she was bleeding out at the moment as she felt her eyes blur. She opened her eyes like she was going to say something but nothing came out.

Kai smiled and took his hand, ran it over her cheek to distract her. Then with his other hand, grabbed a pair of tweezers, and moved his hand over the wound before hitting something, and then letting the bullet fall to the ground. Almost immediately after, he grabbed a nearby towel and wrapped her stomach, determined to stop the blood from oozing out.
"Are you alright?"

Chiyo felt him there as she just didn't know what to say as she heard him say that she had done everything that she could. Though as she felt him touching her wound she looked up to him. "Please...." she said to him as she knew it had to get out though the thought of the pain didn't hit her.

Kai's eyes softened, and he held the girl's hand gently, trying to soothe her. "It's alright," he hushed. "You did all you could." He stared at where the bullet tore the skin.
"Is it okay if I remove it?" he asked softly.

Chiyo gave a groan as she felt some more shooting pain from the bandaging. As the bullet was still in her and had just seemed to look really bad as she opened her eyes looking to him. Her eyes glazed over with pain as she gave a whimper. "i.....killed him' she cried to him as she had never wanted to kill someone. Protect herself yet but not kill another.

Kai didn't know what to think. He was tired, yes, but Chiyo...he had yet to know the whole story.
"Why were they chasing you?" he asked absentmindedly. Then, feeling something wet on his shirt, he looked down. It was Chiyo's blood, from before. He pulled his shirt off, left it hanging on the side of the laundry basket - he'd get to it later - and went back into his kit for more bandages, just in case.
