Skyler stired and then streched looking at the wide space and a Cute little smalish house. "Were here Already." she said all grogy and then fell back closeing her eyes.

As they talked, Ran periodically glanced over to see if Skyler was asleep yet. It took about thirty to thirty-five minutes, but eventually she went down. Now's my chance... he thought to himself. Knowing Yukari was watching from the other dimension, he swung off the highway to a deserted road and drove a few miles out. Then, the rift appeared, a dark purple on black, only visible because it happened to be near a streetlight. Twisting the wheel a bit to veer into it, Ran drove the car straight into the next dimension.

Once inside, the gap quickly closed, and Ran slowed the car to a stop. If Skyler were to wake here and now, who knew what she would assume. At last there was color again, as a small house appeared in the middle of nowhere. The fox boy put the car back in drive and slowly cruised to the house, shutting the car off and getting out, circling to open the door for Skyler.

Skyler was determend not to fall asleep and after thirty minutes she had falllen asleep and was could cold she had gotten tired driving over here and she didnt like the fact she fell asleep on the guy she came to talk to and meet.

Ran gave a heavy blush. "N-no... I mean, why would you think to be worried...?" he covered up. Although... if she only knew what kind of person Yukari could be to those who did not interest her... Ran gave a light shudder. If Master hadn't explicitly ordered him to return as soon as he picked her up, Ran had a silent feeling that Skyler would be a lot happier without knowing Yukari.

Quickly he shook his head, to clear his mind of that thought. "It'll be a while still..." he told her. "If you'd like to take a quick nap, you'd likely be better off." he promised. Who knew, maybe he could pull this one off without resorting to enchanting sleep.

What dose what mean?" she laughed and looked out the window as he drove off not sure what to exspect.

Ran gave a light smile as she handed him the keys, mentally breathing a sigh of relief. So this may end up working after all...

Now, considering his powers, there had never been any need for Ran to use such a vehicle, which was why he had been made to settle for watching and learning from when Skyler had attended Driver's Education. "Wh-what do you mean...?" he asked, opening the door and starting the car. He pulled out of the McDonalds and drove away toward the highway.

As Skyler gripped at his arm, Ran had to struggle to keep his emotions - and his ears and tails - in check. The girl that he had fallen for over the internet was holding him, and he was blushing. "Your car, but... if you don't mind, would it be alright if I took the wheel...?" he asked, for two different reasons. One was that in order for this to work, the car would have to be moving relatively straight, something a sleeping driver could not hope to do. Secondly, the thought of traveling so fast in a hunk of deathtrap was not very high on the kitsune's things-to-do list. As long as he was at least in control of it, though...

Skyler laughed and gave a nod. "Yeah I finnished." she got up grabbing her jacket and standing up. She looked up he was diffrent some how. She tought about it till she gave up.
"My car or yours?" she smiled and latched to his arm like she had known him for ages.

As Skyler gave out a loud laugh, she managed to turn a few heads in their general direction. Ran quickly looked down, his face turning scarlet, not used to so many people around him looking at him. Usually his only company was his master Yukari, and his shikigami and surrogate younger sister Chen. "Well... are you finished with your burger and drink? I mean, we wouldn't want to keep my parents waiting." he questioned, already knowing how he was supposed to do this.

They would take her car, and he would offer to drive. They would drive for a few minutes, and then Ran would use a sliver of his magic to cause Skyler to fall into a light sleep, while Yukari used her power to send the car to the border where he lived. It was the perfect setup, especially since Yukari, not Chen, was the person doing it, all he had to do was release just enough of his magic to work without revealing his true self to her.

(It's your choice whether he fails at this or he accidentally reveals himself later on down the line. Alternately, if he does accidentally reveal himself, perhaps he could try to pass it off as a dream, since she'd likely be asleep immediately after.)

Skyler felt as if she had been stood up so she sat down and beghan to eat a big mac. " Ugh, I guess Ill just head home tomarrow." she wisperd as she stuffed the burrger into her mouth and began to chew.
Skyler began sipping on her soda and thinking of a way to tell him he stole her heart.
"I have fallen.. no no sounds like I broke my ankel" she laughed. and finnished up eating. Skyler jumped as she felt a hand on her shoulder and turned trying to smile with buger in her bmouth.
"M..mdjh-jflj." she swollowed. "Sorry, I mean yean and you look the same as your photo." her laugh ecoed through the building.

Although there was no possible way Skyler could have known, Ran had been watching her from the border the entire time, actually breaking a nervous sweat when she started speeding. Does she have no concern for safety...? he asked himself, just as he heard Yukari wake up. "Ah, master..." he stated, surprised, as a fully rested Yukari Yakumo meandered up to the hole he was watching from.

"You may go now Ran, I'll keep an eye on the two of you from here." was her simple reply. Ran gave a quick bow, before walking off to the side of the room and tearing at the air. The air around his hands gave way like fabric, and he tugged it apart until he could fit through the gap that led straight into the men's bathroom at the McDonalds. He put one foot through, then the other, then his whole body, before closing the rift. He closed his eyes quickly, before anyone decided to walk in, and his ears curled in upon themselves, while his nine tails all fanned upward and tucked into his clothing, melding themselves with his body perfectly. As far as the naked eye, and any earth technology was concerned, Ran Yakumo was a full-blooded human.

He stepped out of the bathroom and looked around the area, finally finding a familiar face. Not wanting to scare her or anything, Ran walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. "So this is what you look like in person, hm?" he asked, a smile on his face.
