Yo dont have to beat him Im sure he would follow you every wear he loves you all he has write abot you is how great you are." she walkd to Yukari. " He loves you, I mean why would you hit someone who trust you, I mean he is lie your son yeah hes gonna mess up and yeah you miht not like te girl he brings home but.....theres no reaon to beat him."
Skyler looked at her intently. " If you didnt like me then just tell me and i wil leave."

At this, Yukari couldn't help but burst out laughing. "You... hurt me...?" she choked out. "With what? You lack the mindset to physically attack me, and there is nothing invented by humans that could hurt me yet. But there is one thing you're wrong about. Say what you want, do what you want, b-"

At this point Ran interrupted Yukari. "The final truth of it is that Yukari-sama owns me. To her I am a tool, a means to an end. At the same time Yukari-sama has no romantic feelings for me, which means that I can freely choose who I am attracted to without worry that she may be removed from this dimension." he explained. "And... as correct as your words are, I had an ulterior motive for not revealing these to you. Simply put, humans aren't allowed to know of our existence." he said for her.

Chen gave a light sigh, as she allowed her ears and split tail to come out of hiding. "Yukari-sama didn't buy my master or anything. I don't know the exact details, but when Ran-sama needed someone the most, she was there for him, and she took him in as her shikigami. I know this much... because I belong to Ran-sama in the same way..." she admitted. "Even so, the way the shikigami is treated depends on the master's personality, which is why Ran-sama comes with my highest recommendation. Not only is he in charge of minding the dimensional rift while Yukari-sama is asleep, but he takes really good care of me, almost like a mother figure I never had..." she stated.

Skyler bent down and picked the parisoul up. her other hand when to the side of her had she could feel what she did. "You are a monster, it dosnt mattr if he has ears or tails you dont own him. I am free and so is he if you want to get your job done then do it yourself. I should bat you, I should make you weak." she began to walk to the woman. "I wonder what you would do if I hit you?" she looked at the wepon and then droped it on the floor. "But we will never know, i'm not like you im not a evil dictating bitch." Skyler walked to Ran and bent down with a smile. "you fell for me?" she ripped the womans hand off of him then pulled him into her lap. "I understand I know that you were scared I wouldnt like you but i think your cute and fluffy and I dont care.....I fell for you to." Skyler began to rub his hair.

Ran was struggling for breath now, unable to even struggle. It was all he could do to whisper out Skyler's name. Of course, having been able to hear it, this only served to anger Yukari further, as she pulled the parasol away. "You are such a masochist!" she stated, emphasizing the last word as she swung it against the side of his head. Countless times she swung, and how Ran was clinging to consciousness was anyone's guess. When she was finished, he hung there, limp. His ears were perked up on his head, and his nine tails lay flat. "Skyler saving you from me, how ridiculous..." she taunted.

Chen's head whipped around as Skyler pushed open the door, but it was then too late. She could only watch in horror as she saw her master hanging there, hurt. She hadn't drawn blood, but she knew firsthand just how much that parasol felt like a warhammer when swung by Yukari. "No..." she whispered, knowing that their secret had been revealed, and now wondering what Skyler was thinking.

Yukari gave a light smirk, before lifting Ran's head up with the tip of her parasol. "Keep your head up, you're in the presence of the person whom you had to ask to save you. Let her see what you are, a fox. Listen to her words as she violently denies you that happiness you have been working so hard to attain these past few months. Just don't cry. You're a man, after all, and no real man cries..." she ordered in a singsong voice as she turned to Skyler. "How does it feel, knowing that the one you fell for couldn't even show you what he really was? Do you feel betrayed? What would you give for a shot at revenge for this deception he has been putting you through for all these months?" she offered, throwing the parasol to Skyler's feet. "It's in human nature to desire revenge on those who have wronged you. Will you let this chance slip by?" she asked, pulling back on Ran's head so that he was looking straight at her.

Skyler stopd before walking on. "I have a feeling Ran's not okay." she said and started to back tward the door. "Let me check on him and ten I'll come with you to make dinner." Skyler began to walk to the door slowly unsure of why she felt to save Ran.

Ran was right. The instant Skyler left, Yukari had ordered him to stand before her. "Tell me, Ran. How could you possibly fall for someone so boring? Is it because she's human? Is it because she has something that could be useful? Or..." she paused a moment, pulling back her hand and slapping Ran in the face. "...could it be because you want to escape me by distracting yourself with another girl? You should know better than this... my little kitsune." Shaking her head and smiling, her eyes glowed, and a dimensional rift appeared above Ran's head.

Ran looked up, and his heart sank. She wanted him to reach in. She always did, and he knew firsthand how much worse her fury became when he defied her. Shaking now, he lifted his arms up and stuck them into the gap. As usual, he could now see his arms come out on the other side of the rift, into a pair of stocks which Yukari kicked down and locked shut, leaving the fox helpless to a beating.

"It hurts me to do this, Ran. You would be so much better off if you would just learn your lesson." she stated flatly, picking up her folded umbrella and smashing it alongside his face. "Cry for help, see if your friend hears." she ordered, swinging it like a baseball bat at his right-hand ribs. "You know as well as I do the steps I take to make my own room absolutely soundproof." At this she held her parasol sideways, pushing against Ran's neck. "You have a choice, Ran. Beg me to end this, or cry to your 'Skye' and hope she hears."

Back in the hallway, Chen heard of what was happening in her head, and she realized that Skyler could not be allowed to see Ran in this state. Not only would it end any illusion she may have that the Yakumo family may be normal, but in his weakened state there was no way the fox could keep his ears and tails hidden. Even by now they had to be revealed, all nine of them spasming out with each individual swing of the parasol. "Hey..." she offered, desperate to draw the girl away. "Could you help me with preparing dinner? Normally it's my brother's job, but he'll be with Yukari a while." she explained, holding her hand hopefully.

Skyler smiled and walked out of the room to the girl and asked to see the home. "Wow its beautiful." she said as she talked to the girl and waited for Ran to come out and get her.

Ran nodded. "That won't be a problem, Skyler. I'll just sh-"

Stay here with me. Won't you, Ran? the space-time witch asked him. Well, asked didn't exactly do this order justice, but it was an order, meaning Ran would have to obey.

"Actually, could you... ask Chen to show you around the house? My mother needs help... with something." he came up with, knowing full well what would happen the moment Skyler left.

Skyler smiled and nodded "Oh, I dont mind I am not here to get in the way I just wanted to meet my pen pal and stuff." she said and gave Ran a nuge. "Is it okay if i look around?" she asked and then looked like a dork when she fell backwards because of her pants.

Yukari gave a light smile, but Ran wasn't fooled for a moment. "Oh, don't worry about it, Skyler. I just woke up myself, and even I'm not exactly in the best of mental states.

Oh? Ran thought to himself. Then is that why you're always barking out impossible orders from the instant you wake up? he imagined. As soon as the words came to his mind, a mental spike felt like it had rammed itself into his mind.

Watch it, Ran. I can always be coherent when it comes to ordering you around, but you can't disobey me. she threatened. "Well, I'm sorry, but I'm afraid I won't be seeing a whole lot of you, Skyler." she stated, sounding sad. "I have a night job, you see, so I have to sleep all day. I usually wake up around suppertime, then fall asleep before dawn.

Riiiight.... And during those twelve hours you're awake, you take no less than five hour-long naps, you take an hour each for your three meals - which you mercilessly wake me up for, then you take one hour getting ready. That's what - three hours left in the day that you actually 'work'? Ran thought to himself. Remarkably, Yukari remained quiet in his mind about it, but he could see the threats coming to mind, kept back merely by Skyler's presence.

skyler poped up at the word mother. "Oh, sorry Uh, Im skyler ..." she wabbled and stood streight then looked like an idot for faceing the wrong way. "Oh, !" she jumped and turnd to face the women that was the guy she was in love withs mother. "Im sorry i just woke up and I am already lookin like an idot." she said and laughed nervesly.

Ran smiled, leaning over to undo her seatbelt. "We're here already." he replied, pulling her out of the car, picking her up, and carrying her, bridal style, into the house.

The two of them were greeted immediately by Chen, who thankfully had her ears and tails concealed. "Nii-san!" she exclaimed, running up to him and holding back just enough so that she wouldn't bowl Ran over. Not that she could knock him over normally running full speed, but rather, if he was holding someone she doubted he'd have the same balance.

Where is Yukari-sama? Ran asked mentally, sure that Skyler would find it odd for the two of them to be speaking of Yukari as if she were their master.

She's in the next room, and... well, she's kind of pissed at this whole deal. Even if she knew it meant bringing a human into the Gap, she went along with it for your sake. I just hope Skyler's got an interesting personality, or...

Don't remind me... Ran interrupted. Yukari wasn't exactly known for being... the nicest person in all of Gensokyo, and underneath the clothing Ran had the scars to prove it. Sighing once, he carried Skyler into the next room. "Mother? This is the girl I was telling you about." he stated, gently lowering Skyler to the ground so that he was now supporting her instead of actually carrying her.
