"Ah, I knew one other with the same name as myself, but that was quite some time ago." Kane smiled though she couldn't see it as he was in front of her. She would probably be all the more scared if he had walked behind her....

"No. My mother suffered a tragic death during the childbirth, and my father fled soon after, for whatever reason I am not aware," Kane explained to her. "A woman found me in the hospital and raised me on her own terms." -Forgetting- to explain that he had been almost dead and she made him undead for him to live, he left the story at that...

"Kane isn't normally heard. Be nice to not have many with the same name as oneself." she sighs and smiled. "And last names just something for people to place you at. If you know what I mean." she kept her voice calm as she followed. "A lot of people have Anny its just a common name." she sighs quietly and looked about fighting back the fear that he may do something to her. Though if he would do something it would be far from what she is thinking.

"So you don't know your parents?" she asked looking to the back of his head. She was trying to keep the conversation a live not wanting to walk in awkward silents.

"Anny, what a lovely name," Kane said softly as he continued walking in front of her, pale hands resting by his sides as he casually walked back towards his home. "My name is Kane, I do not remember my last name, I'm not quite even sure I had been given one," he said, speaking in a calm, gentle voice as he didn't want to scare her away, he could already feel the fear that was around her, and wanted her to relax. He meant no harm....unless his bloodlust got out of control, of course.

Anny studied his features now that his hood was off. He looked as if he should still be in bed sleeping or at least having something warm to drink or eat like or something. In any case she didn't think he should be out walking in the cool air. She nodded to him as he spoke. "I don't think another 10 minutes would kill me" she noted. Though he looked pale he was very handsome and the long hair added to his features. She normally disliked men with long hair, thinking it made them look more like female, but he didn't. She had to say the hair looked good.

After a moment she notice she was staring and blushing looking away and kicked herself mentality for it. She looked back to him and smiled "I'm Anny by the way, and thank you." As she though she wondered why she was going to go with him. Though he wasn't a burly guy he still looked like he could take anyone on. And if he wanted her she wasn't going to stop him. Fear crept through her as she let him lead the way. Something kept telling her it was ok he would never heart anyone but there was a quiet voice telling her to run. She sighed quietly as she crossed her arms and rubbed her hands on her arms. She wasn't cold but the night air did sent a chill down her, or was it the man she was with?

"Wonderful," Kane smiled, and took the hood from his face, revealing quite a handsome young man underneath. There was a very pale face, too pale to be normal. Most people asked if he was just getting over the flu or something similar whenever he would venture out into public, because, as tales told, he did not turn to dust when the sun came out.. He simply had to hide for a while, until the weather cooled off a bit. He had long, purple hair that went down to his shoulders, but despite it being long it didn't make him look any female in appearance, it seemed to suit him. He had matching purple eyes, that seemed to darken slightly to black every once in a while. That was only because he needed blood...and soon. He had a stash of it in his home, but it was nothing like fresh blood from a living human, or even an animal for that matter. But a human was indeed far more satisfying. "My place isn't that far from here. Only about a ten minute walk, I'd say. I hope you don't mind walking a bit more." He said quietly, watching her reactions as well as her movements carefully, trying not to scare her off.

He gave her a small, reassuring smile. "I've never quite had trouble with my parents before, " he said quietly as he looked at her. Though, he failed to mention that he had never known them. You see, Kane lived alone for the past 100 years. He looked seventeen, but he was far from it. He barely survived the childbirth, while his mother perished. His father left soon after. He was found at the hospital, barely alive, by a vampire woman, taken in and raised by her as if she had been his own. "But I sort of understand where you're coming from," he said quietly.

"Why don't you stay at my place for the night? You don't have to if you don't want to, it's merely an offer," Kane spoke softly, watching her as he noticed that even as she said she should probably go, she didn't leave. A small smile came onto his face.

Anny nodded slowly "yes" is what she said. She didn't plan on telling him much but her lips started to move and tell him the basics of her problem. "Parents not letting me be, you know trying to from their kids to them that sort of things. I just get tired of people trying to tell me what to do." she looked away "Um sorry you really don't need to listen to a stranger. I guess I better go so I can leave you to your thoughts." she smiled at him glancing to him before taking a step away.

She whispered under her breath. She didn't know where she was going she just wanted to go somewhere away from problems. She sighs as the cold air brushed along her skin. She shivered hopeful she will fine someplace warm to stay. She glanced back to the male she had bumped into wondering what he was doing. She turned and looked away her eyes looking around the empty street.

"Oh, for about the same reason you are," he said with a small smile. "Late night walks are nice, they help calm you down when your in a mood, or when you have a lot on your mind." His problem of course, had been the second one. "You look like you've got something on your mind as well." He said, though didn't expect her to share, he didn't exactly look all trustworthy, did he?

Anny slipped her hands into her dark blue jeans as the cool night air brushes through her hair. A warm liquid ran down her cheeks as she took in a breath. She been walking for a while now. She just had some 'problems' with her parents. It was the normal fights teenagers have with their parents but Anny always took things a bit far. Her emotions was always to the extreme. Normally she was good at keeping the 'extreme' part of her emotions to herself but the fight with her parents broke her.

She looked up at the stairs as her feet softly tap on the sidewalk her mind else. She looked down in time to see someone standing in front of her. She didn't scream but it looked as if she had as she stumbled over her own feet and fell landing on her but. She sighs and took a breath. "S-sorry you startled me" she looked up at him. A shiver ran down her spin as he didn't look very friendly. She bit her lip and stood slowly.
