Jade smiled. "Of course you can, dear. Tea will be ready in a moment. And thank you, I do my best to keep this place spotless." She said as she stepped away from the two and seemed to silently walk into the kitchen. A few minutes later some rummaging could be heard and the tea was cooking on the stove.

Kane had watched Jade until she left, then took his long coat off and put it in the closet. He then looked over at Anny with a light smile. Out of the darkness, he just looked like a normal, yet oddly pale, teenager. Or what looked like a teenager. "What would you like to do while we wait?"

Anny looked to the women softly unsure if the knowledge of him not bring anyone over eased her worry or made it worse. She stood there for a moment the spoke quietly "Um, mind if I have something warm to drink tea maybe... I'm not really hunger." she glanced around the house. "You have a nice place" she noted trying to keep the room from going silent.

She looked to Kane and studied him a moment wondering why, if he hardly brings friends over, why he would bring a total stranger over. She shifted her wait and cleared her throat but didn't say anything looking away from the boy.

"Oh no, of course not dear," Jade said with a smile and gave Anny a small hug. "I'm sure Kane here already told me about you, but my name's Jade. It's not often when Kane brings friends over." She of course, knew all to well that the two had just met, but still, Kane hardly brought anyone over as it is, so she had been ecstatic. "Would you like something to eat?" They still had food, even if they were both vampires, just in case Kane had any human friends.

Anny jumped slightly seeing the women jump to her feet. She smiled weakly and nodded her head. "Hello" she said quietly as she watched the women. She glanced to Kane then spoke. "I'm Anny I hope I'm not bothering anything" she looked back to the women and smiled again feeling uneasy.

"Of course. Jade won't mind at all, I think she'll like you myself," Kane replied turning to give her a reassuring smile as he approached the two large doors,opening them with a light push. The woman named Jade was already sitting on the couch in the main room, but had instantly jumped up when she saw Kane and Anny enter.

"Your back! And you brought someone with you I see," Jade said with a smile, looking over at Anny. She seemed friendly enough....

Anny looked to him with a nervous smile and murmured. "Ya" she blinked seeing the women in the house. She assumed it was the same one Kane talked about. It would make since. She blinked back to Kane "Um you sure it is ok I can stay?" she asked not wanting to offend anyone, though some part of her wished him to say no and leave her on the side walk but on the most part she wanted in away from the cold.

Kane gave a small smile. "Yes, I find old houses rather fascinating myself. The creepy kind especially so," he said with a small chuckle, as if he had been reading her mind. Looking up into the window with the only light on, he saw a woman peeking out down at them. She was very beautiful. Pale skin, long dark hair, and just as black, piercing eyes. But despite that, you could make out a red gown on her. Kane could see that from where she was seated at the top of the house. He gave her a light smile. She seemed to return it.

She left the room, the light turning off in the room, walking downstairs. A light could be seen coming on downstairs, and she seemed to be merely waiting.

Anny looked to where he pointed. She bit her lower lip seeing the house. She didn't mind the old style but everything about it was so dark. A shiver ran down her spine but it wasn't from the cold. Her eyes glanced around and seen the flowers. They did show life but the home still looked cold.

She looked over to him and gave him a week smile. "Its very.... old, but Old homes are fun to look at." she noted honestly. She didn't want to lie to him but also didn't want to say out what she though of the house. The feeling for her to run crept back up and it took all she got to not turn around and leave at a dead run. 'Nothings going to happen' she thought to herself and waited to follow him on up to the house hoping it will be warm inside.

He gave a small chuckle. "Yes, we are. Look up a head there. See the black house?" he asked, pointing with his hand to a rather large, yet old looking, three story house painted in all black, except for the doors which were a white color. The lights were off in all but one of the windows, and long, tall trees surrounded the place, making it look exceptionally creepy.

The area around it looked almost symmetrical. There was a road path separating two parts of grass, both were gardens and had all sorts of flowers growing everywhere. Despite how creepy the house looked, the flowers still found some way to grow. It seemed to be the only sign of life around the place besides the light in the window.

"That's where I live." He told her, watching her.

Anny shrugged "true but then again is it?" she sighs and puts her hands in her pocked. "One can want something they never had, like love. You never had it but you still want it.... I'm strictly speaking. " she paused "You may know what love feels like I was... ehh I'll just shut up" she blushed slightly. She probably sounded like an idiot stumbling over her words.

"Not to sound like a kid, but we there yet?" she made a face looking to the back of his head. Her feet started to hurt and the air was chilling her skin more and more. She didn't know a ten minute walk could be so long.

OOC: ok well if there's something I need to change tell me

"She didn't, no, but I don't need a las name to go on in life," he shrugged his shoulders. He hadn't been to school, he had merely been homeschooled, though he wondered what his life would be like if he had been...Shaking his head, his gaze turned towards the moon. "It's alright, I don't miss her, though I suppose I should." He knew that probably sounded cruel. "But I can't miss something I never had."

"And this lady didn't give you her last name?" she asked quietly confused. How could he went through school or go anywhere without someone looking for a last name. "Sorry to hear about your mothers death." she added looking down. Here she is running away from her parents and he never had a chance to know his. She sighed and looked away watching the houses go by as they walked. She hummed quietly to herself wondering what it would be like not to know your parents. She took a breath and looked back to his back staying quiet.
