She tilted her head in thought as she watched him. She looked up as the woman walked away, with the order. Her gaze traveled back to Kyle and she shook her head. "It's fine. And you don't seem creepy." She said calmly. In truth he wasn't, he was actually being a bit better then most guys. Her eyes drifted down toward the table. She wished for her laptop or at least a notebook or something. She hated having nothing to do. A book would even be good. The situation wasn't peaceful, but it wasn't weird... It was hard to explain, and she knew she didn't have the emotional or people skill to comprhend it. She looked up and nodded as the latte's were placed before them. She placed her straw in and took a drink, smileing happily at the tasts.

Kyle grinned and nodded slowly. "That sounds really, really good. I might have the same thing. If you don't mind that is.." He looked down at the table, a smile never leaving his face. "I hope you don't find me creepy for this." He looked back up at her briefly and turned away towards another set of people at a booth across from them. They were sitting next to a window and there were people sitting at tables, reading or having conversations as they the sipped their coffees, lattes, or whatever they had. Kyle didn't really care, he just sat there and watched them.

Her eyes trailed over the room. Alex was thinking of where to sit, when Kyle spoke up again. She turned to him with widdened eyes. She had no idea why he was offering to pay. She could pay for herself. Useually this would have annoyed her. Most times when a guy said something like that he was either after something, or was one of those the 'man' should pay. But she could tell that he just didn't really care. He wanted to be nice and pay. She she allowed her pride to be locked away for once. She didn't want to anger someone who seemed decent. Someoen who didn't seem like a jerk. She shrugged, and moved her head toward a table. "Lets' sit there." She muttered calmly. She hated sitting at the bar. Everyone always watched you, though they prtended they didn't. Her eyes drifted back to teh menu as she looke dit over. "I'll take your word for it." She stated. Her eyes moved along teh prices and the items. They did sound good. But that didn't always mean the quality was equal. She finished and looked up when the cashier spoke up. Alex glanced at Kyle and spoke first. " A Carmal Latte." She stated simply. She really didn't want anything sweet to eat right now.

Kyle walked in after her and smiled looking around at the cafe. "So.. Where ya wanna sit? We can sit at the little bar type thing, or a table or something. Your choice." He turned his head to look at her and smiled. He looked up at the menu and grinned. "They have the best lattes here. And the pastry's are amazing also. I'll pay for this too. Its fine with me."

She was surprised to see how happy he became after she agreed. Alex blinked in slight shock when her hand was grabbed and he started pulling her along. She tilted her head watching him as he spoke. It was a little amusing to see him so happy. She blinked again when he smiled back at her, and she returned it slightly. "I'll take your word for it." She muttered slowly. What an interesting day already. A few moments later he stopped grinning at a small cafe. She glanced up at the building glanceing over it. It seemed empty, but not in a bad way. She shook her head when she heard him speak again. She looked toward him to see him holding the door open for her. She grinned slightly at him nodding as she walked past him. "Thanks." She said. Once inside she glanced over the place. It was cozy. She glanced around, at leats it didn't feel stiff and cold like other coffee places.

Kyles face lit up as he took her hand and began walking. "I think you'll like it, they have the best coffee in the city." He let go of her hand and smiled back at her. This excited him, someone to talk to. He stopped a few moments later and grinned at the little cafe. It never had many people in it, and the people that frequented it liked it that way. He looked at the girl, opening the door for her. "After you."

She smiled in amusement at him. He was interesting. Most people wouldn’t be so calm about being pushed over. However, she was glad he hadn’t gotten hurt during the fall. She shook her head no. “I’m fine.” She muttered lowly. She looked at him and tilted her head, blinking in slight shock. “No… I wasn’t actually going anywhere. I had been forced to leave the house. A friend said I wasn’t allowed back in for a while… Coffee would be great though…” She muttered. He was interesting and maybe she could get along with him. People got on her nerves a lot, and irritated her. But he seemed all right. And she could use some company. She smiled slightly at him. “So where to?” She asked, with a small smile.
