She looked at him and smiled. "That little doggy means everything to me. Id die if something happened to him" She smiled as she follwoed him with a slight limp to class. Looking to him work on the report she folded hers up and placed it in another paper. 'cange the answers some what' and handed it to him. She hated seeing him struggle. Especially after she knew what she knew. He had two things going inside him. And she was wondering if the less stress made it better for him.

"well it wasnt really a fight so much as a misunderstanding.. but its ok now.. we talked about it.."smiled Daniel

"i cant imagine what would cause you 2 to fight.."said the boy

"oh it was about a dog I was giving her.. i wasnt sure she would accept such an ugly looking mutt that needed lots of love but.. well i misjudged her"he continued as they got into the classroom

as the boy left.. Daniel whispered in her ear

"you do own the dog now.. its heart is yours.. be careful with it"he spoke softly as he clasped her hand before returning to his seat.. he started finishing his report because he was so busy yesterday

She looked at him and hugged him in return. "I always thought there was something about you. Your to territorial. Even after I found out Paul thinks im hot" She shot him a look that said 'your busted' but she was smiling. As she walked with him she had her small artistic hand in his and she nodded. "Ill be there. What better way to replace the sketch i threw at you...." She blushed wondering if hed seen the sketch of him dribbling the ball. "Ill just say I have to take meds and lay down" She shrugged. No one would think it a lie. And she was quick alot of the track team had wanted her to join them. But she was to into her art. She held his hand until a boy came running towards them. "I thought you two got into a huge fight!" She blinked and then giggled. "We did" Looking to Daniel she begged for his help

"how can you be that understanding.."smiled Daniel hugging her back

"still im kind of worried about the other attacks.. what if theres another wolf out there.."he sighed as they arrived in school

as they got down the car.. Daniel caught her hand and began walking towards the entrance of the school.. everyone looked at them

"by the way.. I have a game later today so ill be excused from afternoon classes.. I really wish you could come though.."smiled Daniel as he opened the door for her

She smiled and hugged him as soon as she saw him. She looked him over and smiled happily. "Thank you." As they where driving to the school she tilted her head. "Maybe you where born with the gene I mean you never knew your father and it took a certain age to become one you know like an age unlocks it?" She spoke softly as she watched him. "And you never attacked me. And if you did its only because a your hungry or b your scared." She smiled and looked at him.

next morning Daniel was waiting outside of her house.. her bike the back of his car

"good morning"smiled daniel as she stepped out of the house

as they drove towards school Daniel began explaining what exactly he was

"I think im a werewolf like the ones in movies.. but im not sure.. what do you think?" he asked her

"Im not sure how I became one.. but it began coming out a couple of years ago.. I was so scared I didnt tell anyone.."he added

Daniel then looked serious

"those attacks on hikers and tourists.. most were by me.. except recently there had been couple I hadnt done"he sighed wondering what happened to them

"I attack people at night.. what do you think.. maybe its not a good idea for us to be together when it gets dark?"

Daniel was full of questions and comments.. she was the only one who knew about his "condition"

She had smield and nodded. "alright." She moved inside. Dinner that night was quiet. "So whats going on between you and Daniel?"
"We stopped being friends because he was scared his true feelings would hurt me."
"True feelins?"
"He loves me"
Her father smirked. "Always knew you and that boy would get along one day. Bout time you both realized it to." "DAD!" She shook her head in embaresement as she walked to her room after doing the dishes she sat on her bed thinking. 'so what does one do when their boyfriend. well the guy they liked was really a dog;

"ill bring your bike to school tomorrow.. that means ill pick you up here in the morning if its ok?"answered Daniel as they arrived.. as soon as her father mentioned dinner Daniel shook his head. "Its ok sir.. I need to get home as well" the word dinner had reminded him he had missed that nights hunting and he was troubled

"take care of yourself"he smiled as he watched her get inside her house.. he then left.. he had a reason to go back for her back.. he was still hungry and the rain looked like it was going to stop

She had screamed as she was lifted into his arms and she watched him. As he had come to the car. Her hand had gently found his and held it. As they arrived at her house she looked up to him and she smiled softly. She gathered her paints and tilted her head. "Think my bike is okay out there till tomorow?" She asked softly as she looked at him. She hugged him then looked as the door opened and her father watched them "Thanks Daniel!" he called."Want some dinner?"

"right.."responded Daniel as he slowly got up.. without asking he picked her up and began walking towards his car.. he placed her in the passengers seat.. then he went back and gathered her paints

"lets get you home.. your dad is pretty worried about you"he said as he started the car and began to drive.. they arrived at her house some time later

"i still have a lot to tell you about my.. condition.. but for now get some rest.. its been one hell of a day"he said smiling opening her door to her side of the car

She stared in dismay as he proclaimed his love for her. She bit her lip and a smile formed across her face. She nodded her head. "Oh yea you have deffinatly been one of those. But come on your going to get sick" She crouched infront of him shifting her bad leg so their was no strain upon it as she leaned down and kissed his forhead. "And my paints are getting soaked."

"I love you.."he said looking at the cloudy sky

"i always have.. im just a stupid ashole for not realizing how lucky I am this whole time.."he said as he turned his head and looked at her
