Cody had nuzzled into Daniel's arms. Her eyes sparkling with joy as she kissed him "I love you Daniel." SHe spoke softly as her arms wrapped tightly around him. They would have been closer together had it not been for her stomach.

Watching as Daniel drank and started coughing she became worried. THen he was in wolf form and smiling she turned to her wolf form and moved her head under his neck like a loyal female. Her tail wagged slowly back and forth.

They where mates. Now and forever. As she looked to Daneil she looked down at the odd ring that had acustomed to sitting on her claw. With a wolfish grin she watched Daniel. Then looked to Tyr and the nurse. She owed the two so much.

Daniel higged Cody strongly.. now she was like him.. and nobody could stop them from being together. He looked at the ring on her finger. "it looks perfect on you.. but i never got the chance to propose.."I love you because your Cody.. silver or not"he said brushing her hair.. his hug tightened as Daniel suddenly shivered a little.. when he gazed at Cody his face was a little different.. his eyes were lighter and he looked fierce.. as if he could take on the whole world. "I like the silver you"he smiled differently hugging her tighter getting her scent as he did.

"uh.. the ceremony"said Daniel a little confused as his face changed back to being timid. fter all the preparations were done Daniel drank from the plastic cup.. since there were no chalices around the place,

"urghhh.."coughed Daniel kneeling to the ground clutching his throat.. the other pack member s stopped Cody from reacting. "its normal one of them said to Cody.

"Daniel slowly recovered but before he couyld stand up he transformed into a silver wolf. "you transofrm too.. its part of the ceremony"said the pack member to Cody

Cody awoke slowly in the morning. She groaned. She felt... Stronger. As she went to sit up she discovered her hands tied to the bed. She went to speak but her mouth was gagged. She screamed into the gag. Seeing Daniel though she stayed still. He was so peaceful..

Hearing the heart monitor change the nurse poked her head in. She looked at the diffrent Cody. Her hair was slightly longer. But not that that mattered much. Her hair had white tips like someone had dunked it in paint. And then steaks of white hair through the brown. It almost looked like she was sporting the 'silver and gold'

"Daniel wake up Your mate is like you." She spoke softly Cody glared at the nurse. The nurse untied her and tilted her head. Cody was also further along in her pregnacy. "Ah and the pups wont be to many more moths away." She smiled untieing Cody. Cody's barely blue eyes watched her. They looked more like a thin thin layer of blue over white. Ice blue some would call it. "Cody. Let us see your wolf form."

When Cody stood she held her chin slightly angled that said 'I dare you to piss me off.' Her eyes then closed and she focused on 'wolf' And she shuddered. No longer was it painful for her to slip forms. But as she was in her wolf form she was diffrent from the others. Her fur was a mix like her hair. Golden colored with silver. But the wolf looked taller. Stronger. But still gentle especially with the pregnate belly. "Okay Cody you can turn human. We have a ceremony to have. For you and Daniel."

Cody did as she was told kissing Daniel's forhead softly and then she looked down at her ring finger where the ring Daniel had given her was nestled on her finger. She then looked to Daneil. "Do you like it? The wolf. The silver me?" She asked softly.

Daniel decided to continue, after everything was done he slowly waited for Cody to transform, "I hope your right.. Cody and I.. were out of options.."he retorted. Daniel's vision had become blurry from the weakness. he dragged himself towards the other side of the room and plopped down on one of the chairs and slowly passed out unintentionally until the next morning

the enxt morning Daniel was asleep on the chair.. his conditon had gotten better during his sleep

The nurse tilted her head. "Did you bite her? Did you give her your blood? Im not just a silly nurse boy." She snapped. "I was once a moon carrier. I know about them because I am one." She tilted her head. Looking in on the room she tilted her head looking at Cody. The tips of her hair where turning a snow white. Almost like Daniels. "Oh its already starting. The wolf reconizes you. It's trying to duplicate you!" She watched in amazement.

Cody groaned. "Daniel...." Her voice was barely a whisper. Her eyes closed they had turned from their viberant blue to a pale blue.

"She needs a little blood Daniel... That will make it work quicker.. Wil you give her some? WE only have till morning." She spoke softly. "And this will make you the dominate one in the relationship." She spoke softly. The nurse was watching Cody. She pulled back slightly as she gave a scream. "IT's already starting....you need to be with her.. Just sit with her. This is the real transformation.."

Daniel looked at the nurse with a reluctant face. "is this too good to be true, how can the nurse know such things"he asked himself before guessing he shouldnt pass up the offer and followed what the nurse had said

"please Cody.. make it.."he whispered stepping out of the room and waiting outside the door.. Daniel turned human and leaned against the wall.. his strength was slowly beginning to wither .. if the nurse was wrong and Cody didnt turn silver like him.. Daaniel would be dead before the next morning

Cody herd Daniel's call. She woke and struggled to her feet. "Cody you need to rest..." The nurse spoke softly. Cody looked at her then opened her mouth but nothing came out. She was to tired. She struggled to move one foot before the other. There was the wolf. She reconized Daniel anywhere. "Daniel.." She whispered before she fell to the ground.

Tyr was running along side Daniel. And he basically lead the man to the hospital. When he saw Cody on the ground with the nurse talking to her. He changed and raced over. "Look out. Daniel's here."

The nurse looked over to see Daniel. "You didn't bite the right spot... Bite the moon. Then give her a little of your blood. And she too will be a silver wolf. You need to move quickly. She's used most of her strength just to get out here. Take her back into her bed. It's going to be slightly painful."

Daniel's eye's changed as soon as he heard the news.. he looked at Vera with piercing eyes. "that was the truth wasnt it?"he asked her , but before she could even respond Daniel threw the cup to the floor and ran towards the exit. Those loyal to Vera tried to stop him only to be met by a silver wolf instead, this time Daniel's form was different, somehow it looked stronger and seemed to have a dominating presence in the midst of the pack

"Cody!!"roared Daniel bursting out the door and into the open land, he was determined to go to her at all costs

"The Alpha silver wolf.."gasped Vera amazed at the presence of Daniel but his awe changed to a frown. "fool.. you will die"

Tyr had been there standing in the back before shaking his head. "VERA! you lie like a bad rug! You have no right to be a wolf! Your greedier then i thought!" He snapped. Turning to his wolf form there was an uproar. People started screaming. A young girl cousin to the 'Vera' fell knocking the cup from Daniel's hand.

"You are a disgrace to those of us who work in this pack. Your not fit to be leader!" he snapped through his wolf teeth. "Cody will come forth and demote you. You watch! She will wake from her black world! One you refused to have us save her from!"

His gaze turned to Daniel. "You should have asked about Moon Carriers. You are a fool. Your true mate lies dieing. And your here bonding yourself to another!" Shaking his head Tyr turned and looked at the people around him. They where all confused. Tyr understood why.

"Cody's house was broken into last night and she had been taken! Taken by humans so they could try and copy our DNA! And you know what precious Vera said? Tell no one. Especially not Daniel. Sure he would have been emotionally stable. But if he wants to bind himself to this wench. Then he doesn't even deserve to know she made it home just a little while ago. And colapsed in hunger, depression and exhaustion! That is the form of a true leader! One that will come back to their pack no matter what."

Guards grabbed Tyr by the scruff and he growled. Before they went to throw him outside.

Daniel looked at his face through a mirror in the bathroom just outside the grand hall where the event would take place. He should be becoming healthier but his skin was still pale and his eyes were shot. he also didnt feel too well at all. this time though Daniel knew why. With Vera the silver wolf inside him was thriving.. but without Cody, Daniel himself grew weaker.. as if all the hours distanced from Cody was just an empty mask

"are you ready? the ceremony is about to start"said one of the pack outside. Daniel quickly washed his face and proceeded into the grand hall where most of the pack was

Daniel walked into the center of the room and felt all the eyes on him.. until Vera arrived wearing a long white gown. She was carrying a small chalice

"this ceremony will represent Daniel and Vera's bond.. Vera will draw blood from her hand and have daniel drink it "announced the coordinator "then they will be mates.. the wolves inside them will only know of each other and are promised only to the other

"whats going on?"asked Daniel as he was waiting for Vera to draw blood. Daniel noticed that at the back of the crowd some of the pack members were talking as if something had happened

"nothing.. just drink this. then all is well"said Vera handing him the cup

"as you say"responded Daniel taking the cup in his hand and lifting it

Cody continued to ram her body against the cage. Growling. As she smashed through the cage finally she glared at the men. They where completely shocked. Cody realized now she was on her own. One man pulled a gun aiming at her Cody leapt aside The gun's bullet shattered a window. Which Cody took full oppertunity of. Leaping through. On the other side there where several dogs looking at her. She growled and ran past them. To the high fence with barbed wire top. She gave a growl before she ran along the fence. There was a creek. Jumping in she went under water and under the fence.

She made it back to the lands of the pack by at lest noon the next day. Sore tired and starved. She saw one of the pack mate's come towards her and she snarled at him. Teeth barred. Then she collapsed. The man lifted her carrying her away from the open sights. Softly stroking her pale brown fur. He took her to the hospital and sat there talking to the nurse.

"I can't beleive Vera. She would rather a ceremony then the pack's life. Who knows what's going to happen. It's obvious people know we are here. And what is she saying? Tell no one! Especially not Daniel! He deserves to know what danger his pups are in. God I hope someone knocks her down to our level. Just because she's rich and a silver wolf." Shaking his head Tyr looked down at Cody. "How is she?"

"She's just holding on. She's beyond exhausted. And Moon Carriers never live without their mate's for long unless they have a purpose."
"You mean those people arnt just myth?"
"No but I don't get why she's not silver wolf. He must have only given her half the gene. Making her a normal wolf." She shook her head looking down at her before moving Cody's hair aside where a pale mark almost like a scar was on her neck. It had been since she was a baby. "Theres the mark..." She said softly. She sighed. There was nothing they could do for Cody. Daniel's ceremony would start in an hour.

Daniel slowly gazed outside the window.. the estate was beautiful but without Cody it was worthless.."please be ok.. im so sorry"he said

the next day Daniel woke up around 9am beside his new "mate" before he could step out of bed his mate tugged on his arm

"are you ready for later.. your suit should be downstairs"said Vera looking sleepy

"ready for what?"asked Daniel with a perplexed look

"the ceremony that will join us together of course silly.. didnt I tell you?"answered Vera remembering she failed to mention it to Daniel

"Oh.. i see. "sighed Daniel getting out of bed to get some breakfast. after he left the room a pack member appeared hurriedly towards Vera whispering something to her

"tell no one else.. especially Daniel"she said with a serious look
