Her words held no effect on the situation at hand, but instead both boys were unphased by anything that passed her lips. Stepping back, she closed her eyes, praying and hoping that neither one was hurt. Poor Carmine slowly attempted to take in what occured before her. Her heart increased in pace with each moment the two collided for another attack. Easily the vampire seemed to over power the other boy. Yet the question lingered....what was Keith exactly? Even at that point, Carmine wasn't worried about that.

Flinching the moment Keith had been tossed into the bark of a tree, Carmine watched intently as the boy rose from the impact and lifted a large piece of the tree itself. Something clicked in her mind at that moment. He wasn't human, which didn't occur as a suprise anymore. She was stuck in the middle of something unbelievable, something she had caused because of one promise she broke. Now Ryan was angry with her, and who knows what would happen with Keith.

Carmine's grey hues fixated on the sharp structure of tree that was sent through the air, aiming directly at Ryan. "RYAN!" She yelled, feeling her stomach drop at the thought of it stabbing right through him. Even if he wasn't alive, would he truly be affected by it? Drawing her eyes away from the scene, Carmine felt another presence come forth infront of her. The sound of the wood breaking made her shut her eyes even tighter. Silence fell over the group. The only sound now was the footsteps that approached her. Lifting her head up towards the figure, Carmine opened her eyes to see Ryan. The boy took his oppurtunity to look her over. "Ryan....I'm sorry...." Carmine said lowly, biting her lower lip as he walked off. There was nothing she could say to him at that point. Looking down, Carmine fell silent. Turning her head to look at Rebecca, she spoke. "Will you take me home? My brother is probably worried about me by now...." She asked quietly. I know its my fault...... she thought, her gaze trailing to the direction Ryan walked in. Pushing back every emotion that she wanted to express, Carmine spoke. "Ryan I'm sorry! Yes I did go with him even after saying I wouldn't, but I don't regret it! He didn't do anything......!" She spoke as loud as she could, but being out in the cold for so long was causing her throat to become hoarse.

Ooc: Aww well glad your feeling better. =] lol and yeah i dont have a computer now, so its such a frustration to type everything from the iphone >.<

Carmine’s cries and plea’s for them to stop went unheard as Keith growled and lunged at Ryan. The vampire caught him in midair and used the momentum to throw the werewolf behind him causing him to crash into a tall pine tree. The tree buckled into two and collapsed on top of Keith as Ryan began to walk slowly towards the pile of lumber cautiously. There was a slight shift in movement near the forest and Keith stood up holding a long twelve foot branch that was broken and sharp on one end. The branch was obviously too heavy by the sheer size of it to be lifted by a human but Keith easily grasped it and held it above his head before throwing it with precision right towards Ryan chest.

Just as the huge wooden stake that would end Ryan’s life was about to sink into his chest there was a blur of movement and an explosion of splinters as the tree was destroyed. William stood in front of Ryan, bits of wood covered his body from where he had hit it the stop it from killing Ryan. Rebecca was next to Carmine and had covered her from any of the splinters that went her way and Chelsea was blocking Keith from them.

Keith seeing that he was vastly outnumbered now growled slightly but backed away into the woods before breaking into a run to get out of there. Ryan was shocked at how close he had come to a true death but quickly composed himself and looked over at Rebecca and Carmine. He walked over and looked her Carmine to see if she was injured, his hands gingerly lifting up her own and holding them for a few seconds before dropping them and turning away without a word as he began to walk away from her.

(I’m all better now so no worries. And I’m sorry to hear that your computer died!!! I fixed mine then it died like 5 seconds later again XD)

Her expression softened, a gentle smile tugging at her lips as she came to face him once more. "Yeah right..." The girl said, crossing her arms loosely as she stood there within his hold. Her grey eyes studied his face, capturing the playful and teasing expression he usually held but then it shifted, and the boy held a firm look to his masculine features. Without much warning, she felt her small frame suddenly roughly shoved aside and away from him. Her bottom hit the sand beneath, Carmine barely caught herself with both hands. Unsure of what had just happened, her eyes rose to the familiar face that now stood before her but in a manner unexpected. Closing her eyes, she bit her lower lip. No... she thought, trying to process it all. What would Ryan possibly do? And where was Keith now. He hadn't done anything to her, so there was no need to start such a commotion over nothing.

Rising to her feet carefully, she watched in horror the two were locked in fight. Keith's appearance had indeed changed, holding more of an animalistic look to him now. Fear placed itself within her for both boys, and she couldn't allow it to further continue. Words caught in her throat each time she attempted to speak, Carmine collected herself. I can't let this happen... The girl straightened herself out. She approached closer to the two, but yet keeping a safe distance. "STOP IT!" Her voice echoed in the cold air, lingering there. "THIS HAS TO STOP! PLEASE!" Carmine snapped, holding her arms as she felt several emotions find themselves within. "HE HASN'T DONE ANYTHING RYAN!" She cried, "I"M SORRY....DONT FIGHT...." Carmine trailed off. She had remain strong, and attempt to keep the two from tearing the other apart. Not once had she even realized what would happen if she had broken Ryan's promise. Taking a glance at both boys, Ryan had taken a deep gash to his perfect face which no sooner healed while Keith seemed to be recovering from the last blow.

Ooc: No apologies needed, =] I totally understand. I don't want you rushing to reply lol, just get better soon. ^^ I hate being sick, its the worst. I'm forced to reply from an Iphone right now anyway since my computer is well dead so i cant be on constantly. Sad

A slight laugh escaped Keith’s mouth as Carmine rejected him, his arms were still around her but his seductive nature was now gone and replaced with his usual playfulness. “Haha, Adeline… It’s fine really! I was just joking around. No need to worry about me trying to steal kisses, you haven’t worked your way up to that yet.” A small grin played on his lips as he spoke but his body sudden went rigid. In the blink of an eye Keith had pushed Carmine forward and turned to his left when something came hurtling towards Keith hitting him square in the chest and causing him to fly backwards into the lake with loud splash.

Ryan stood in the spot that Keith had only seconds before, his fists clenched at his side and his poise that of one on the defensive. Moving his head from side to side as if he were searching for something Ryan watched the lake without stopping. He couldn’t look at Carmine right now, half due to her lying to him and easily breaking the promise and the other half that he might be tempted to attack if she had been hurt when Keith had pushed her away. At that moment a light ripple in the water caught Ryan’s attention and he jumped towards it just as Keith sprung out of the lake dripping wet and strangely different than before.

The two met in midair but Keith had more momentum behind his jump which caused Ryan to fly backwards towards the ground with Keith on top of him. Keith’s teeth were long longer as were his nails while his muscles all had grown in the time he had been under the water. A long gash appeared along Ryan’s face as Keith brought his hand down upon him with the enlarged nails. With a quick movement Ryan had brought his fist up into Keith’s jaw sending him flying backwards but Keith managed to get back up to his feet quickly, his entire body shivering slightly as Ryan stood up and faced him, his cheek already healing itself.

(I’m sorry I haven’t been able to reply recently. I’ve been horribly sick with some sort of flu or virus and I can’t think straight enough to rp when I’m sick. As for the whole Keith thing I was thinking that the werewolves can semi-transform when it’s not a full moon but they’re not nearly as strong as they would be when they fully transform.)

With her smoky grey eyes fixated on the waves of water that crashed against the sand beneath her feet, Carmine let out a soft sigh. Her heart once again skipped that gentle beat, only to increase in pace as he stood behind her. So close, the warmth emitting from him made her feel slight reassurance of being there with him. He wasn't dangerous, but maybe thats just what he wanted her to believe. Emotions were running through her mind and body, images of her moments with Ryan often crossed her mind and it made her close her eyes for a moment. I...can't do this.... she thought, frowning lightly. "I'm...not sure...." She said, having been turned towards him with ease. There was no lying, he was indeed attractive and very muscular in built but she had just met him and yet there was something beneath it all that she couldn't grasp.

Those smoky grey eyes of hers soon fell upon his honey colored ones, pulling her in once more. His hands were warm in comparison to Ryan's, but it wasn't to say she hadn't enjoyed the vampire's touch. Keith had grown so close now, inches from her face but deep down there was regret if she went through with it, and remorse if she hadn't. Seconds later though, the girl pulled away from him and shook her head lightly. "Keith...I can't. I'm just not sure...." She explained, looking up at him. "I've got too much on my mind right now to handle..." Carmine's gaze shifted away from him, unsure of how he would act.

Upon hearing her words and watching her turn around Keith grinned and stood up. In a few steps he stood behind her and placed one hand gently on her shoulder while leaning close to her. His mouth was inches from her ear and his voice was soft and deep. “It’s true that you shouldn’t kiss strangers… but I think that you can trust me.”

His hand ran along her neck slightly and gently tugged her face towards his own so they were staring into each others eyes. His a honey brown and hers a swirling grey. “Besides… Your reckless remember? And this is another act of recklessness…” Leaning forward Keith brought his lips closer to hers, his eyes half closed and his hand cupping her chin softly.

Ryan cursed aloud as he sniffed the air, all he could smell was dog with an underlying hint of the familiar scent that belonged to Carmine. As soon as he heard she had left with Keith he had gone home to get William and the others to help search for her. They had no luck until Ryan came up on Keith’s trail and followed it to a small house that resembled Carmine’s slightly. “Carmine?! Can you hear me?” His voice echoed slightly through the woods to his right but he knew that she wasn’t nearby or she would have responded.

Sniffing the air once again the scent seemed to lead towards the back of the house and into the woods. Fearing the worst Ryan ran into the dark shrubbery full speed. His nose was his guide and he followed the scent around a dirt bike trail for a few minutes before cutting off down a straight and flat trail. He saw two people standing next to a lake and he froze when he saw everything. It was Carmine and Keith, he was holding her close and… kissing her? He couldn’t make it out from this distance but Carmine seemed to be fine with their proximity. After she had promised to stay away here she was, in a wolves arms being kissed. Anger overtook him at Keith and there was a layer of pain to go along with it due to Carmine. Ryan didn’t know whether or not to leave or attack Keith. No, he had to stay to protect Carmine, no matter what. Baring his fangs and letting out a low growl he got ready to pounce on Keith and tear him limb from limb.

Resting her head against him, she did her best to hold onto him with each jump they took. Excitement and fear were all mixed in one within her. Her head rose, eyeing the trail they turned on now. It was rather familiar, back when she was a child her parents would often bring her up here. Now a days though she wouldn't come as often, considering Josh was usually busy and if not she just couldn't bring herself much to come up here either.

The bike soon came to a rough stop at the edge of the forest to reveal the clear water of the lake ahead. Her eyes settled on its surface, watching the water crash against the earth. Removing herself from the motorcycle, she approached it while crossing her arms gently across her chest. Lifting her head in Keith's direction, she watched him send the stone across the water with great speed. Stepping over to him as he motioned her over, Carmine raised an eyebrow at his statment. "Dangerous......your not the first one whos said that." She stated, half jokingly yet holding some truth. A brilliant grin touched her face, "You really think you deserve a kiss from me?" She said, playfully sticking her tongue out at him. "Besides I barely know you, remember?" Carmine said, "I shouldnt be kissing strangers." She said, turning her back to him to face the lake's water.

Ooc: High school is horrible O.o lol. and sorry my posts are a bit short >.<, my writing has sucked lately xD

Keith continued to take the jumps on the bike, going higher each time and his heart beating along faster as the bike sped up. If it weren’t for his enhanced senses of being a werewolf there was no doubt that Keith would have crashed the bike by now but he had faster reflexes, better sight, better everything basically than a regular human. Suddenly Carmine’s hand shot out and pointed to a trail; he heard her say something but couldn’t make out the words. Turning the bike towards the trail she mentioned he found the ground to gradually be getting smoother with less jumps until it was completely flat everywhere.

Ahead of them the trail ended in a huge clearing with a lake smack dab in the middle of it. Keith slowed down and stopped the bike near the forest before turning off the engine. He waited for Carmine to get off before pushing back from the bike and rubbing his numb hands. “This is the lake? This is pretty big actually compared to lakes I’ve seen.”

He walked up towards the edge and grabbed a flat smooth stone, pulling his arm back he flung it as far as he could towards the water. It went amazingly far and skipped four times before sinking down to the bottom with a loud plop. Keith sat down on a large rock that was stuck halfway into the ground, his eyes traveled over to Carmine and he motioned for her to come over.

“You know, you’re pretty reckless. I mean, what if I was some sort of creep? You barely know me and your out here alone with me. What if I’m dangerous?” A grin played on his lips as he fooled around. “Lucky for you though that I’m just a normal high school student who thinks your pretty cute. So about that kiss from before in my living room, care to continue it?” He laughed slightly as he watched Carmine’s face for her reaction.

(High school ruins everything doesn't it? It's like hell, but worse ^^)

Even if she had managed to get home on time, Josh was still going to question and soon enough possibly get the information out of her. The thought bothered her to no end, but she didn't let that last long considering the energy and adrenaline that now filled her system. Wrapping her arms tightly around his waist, she did her best to guide him down the trails she knew. The trail itself was pretty smooth until they hit a few mounds of dirt on the way. Even then she didn't even loosen her grip on the male. Instead she found herself hold him closer than evern as the bike took its first jump over the mound.

She found it truly amazing how he had managed to drive the bike so well, and yet it felt each moment she swore they would fall. It was almost like the moment she was sitting in the car with ryan who drove at high speeds without even focusing on the road. Was it because boys merely had a good handle of vehicles and machinery or something else. "Try not to kill us!" Carmine yelled as loud as she could, but with the wind blowing against them it was hard to speak. With each jump her heart skipped a beat, her breath caught in her throat. The excitement was clearly shown on her expression as a smile grazed her lips. "I think the lake is up ahead!" She said, pointing off on another trail. It wasn't the best day for swimming, but Carmine merely wanted to see it.

Ooc: Lol i use to be able to sleep fine, but like I swear I entered high school and things shifted for the worst =[. But as long as im fully functioning, its fine lol

Waving away her warning that she only had a few hours left to ride Keith tossed his leg over the bike and start down. As soon as he felt Carmine get on and grab onto his waist he started the bike and after a few sputters of the engine it came alive. “Just point me in the right direction when we’re riding. I won’t be able to hear you over the engine.” Pulsing under his hands and vibrating the rest of his body he kicked the foot stand up and pressed on the acceleration. The tires spun for a few seconds before getting enough traction to shoot them towards the dense forest.

Weaving his way past tree’s Keith made it onto the trail and kept the bike at a steady pace of 35 miles per hour. The ground was nearly flat in this part so it wasn’t difficult for Keith to navigate through the unknown trails; the only hard part was dodging all the branches in the middle of the trails. Looking to his side slightly he could see Carmine in his peripheral vision, a grin spread onto his face as he saw the excitement in her eyes while she gripped his waist even tighter.

Taking a right turn as Carmine instructed him Keith came to a small mound of dirt. He smirked and sped up as he approached it making sure that they would hit it with a nice amount of speed. As the bike barreled over the mound the tires left the ground and they soared through the air for a few seconds before coming back down into a perfect land on the trail again. There were bigger mounds up ahead and he took aim for the ones safe enough to jump with two people on board.

(Lol I would go crazy. Sleep is my best friend and I need all of it I can get. I hate not being able to sleep)

Carmine's face held a slight blush hearing his words, and she knew they were partially true. Why couldn't she pull away from him before, she didn't feel for him like she felt for Ryan. Then again being that close to either boy really mixed her emotions. Rolling her eyes she sighed, "Right whatever..." She muttered. Without much warning, she once again was pulled along behind him outside. The cold air touched at her cheeks, and she was forced to zip up the sweater she had on once more.

Crossing her arms she watched him intently, wondering now where they would be off to. "I have to be home in two hours....kind of lied to my brother that I was at school...." She said, capturing the helmet within her grasp. An amused smile tugged at the corners of her lips, "Yeah the don't dying part seems to be the most important." Carmine stepped over to the bike, only to lift her head up in the direction of the main trail she recalled. "I haven't been out here in a long time, but take that direction." She said, allowing him to get on the bike first before lifting herself onto it behind him.

Ooc: Lol yeah not much, but sometimes i'm sleeping during the day. And supposedly he sugguests i take the pills, but i really don't want to >.<

[center]As Keith sat back down with a grin he finished off the rest of soda that was left in the can. He cleared his throat and put his hand to his chin as if he were trying to solve a hard puzzle and needed to concentrate. “Well… for starters I’m going to say that my good looks and charm could win you over. Fact number two is that you didn’t back away from me and seemed to be pretty disappointed when I didn’t kiss you. And the third reason could be that when I see something I want, I don’t rest until I have it.”

Flashing his, ‘Oh what big teeth you have,’ grin at her he grabbed her hand and pulled her to her feet along with him. “Come on, let hit the trails before it starts to rain. Don’t want to get your clothes all muddy now do we?” Pulling her along towards the back of the house he opened a door which led to the backyard. It was more of a clearing in the woods than a backyard but there was a small shed off to the left which Keith led her to.

“Okay, so same rules as the motorcycle. You wear the helmet; you hold on tight, you don’t die.” Grabbing a medium sized bike that could fit them both on it safely he wheeled it out into the back yard and tossed Carmine a helmet. “So which way to the best trails around here? I’m driver, your navigator.”

(Only 3-4 O.o how do you even function? I usually get at least 5 hours or so but only 3? Does he prescribe sleeping pills or something to help?)
