With the small bites she was taking, there was no way she would finish it completely. Her eyes soon fixated on the movie now playing upon the television since she was rather drawn into it. The idea of a werewolf running around was rather humorous, but with what Carmine knew, there was definately possibilities.

Her gaze strayed back towards Keith who mentioned Ryan and Josh, and it made her shrug her shoulders lightly. "They watch out for me I guess, I love them both though." She said with a gentle smile playing across her lips. "Neither one of them would much approve of getting on the back of a motorcycle with a boy i just met......so yeah, I suppose you are." She said, munching once again down on the sandwich. Still she wasn't even halfway finished with it.

His next words forced her to pause from eating, and found herself staring back into his eyes. "Actually...he would..." She said softly, finding butterflies flutter within her stomach but yet she couldn't seem to pull herself away from the male. Then without warning, he was inches from her own lips only to pull away and steal some of her food. "HEY!" She frowned, standing up from the couch just as he had moved away from her. "Don't lead me on like that..." She grumbled, taking a sip of her soda. Stepping up the boy she smirked lightly, "Besides what makes you think you could win me over so easily..." She stated.

Ooc: Lol i believe i've had it over a year or 2 now, but never really said anything. It isn't extremely bad, I mean i get usually 3-4 hours of sleep and im constantly waking up but according ot the doctor i should have more than that? . Well more hours of sleep

With a shrug Keith tossed the remote to the side and left it on the current channel. It was an old black and white horror movie staring a boy in high school that had been attacked and turned into a werewolf. There was a grunt of laughter as Keith took a monster sized bite out of his sandwich due to the irony of the movie. “Sounds like between your brother and your boy friend you don’t get much time to have fun. It looks like I’m your saving grace then eh?”

With a few more bites Keith finished off one of the sandwiches, he cracked open the can of soda and took a long drink from it before grinning at Carmine. He was already done with his first and she had only taken a few bites of hers so Keith decided to finish off his food then speak. “So Adeline, since your boyfriend isn’t actually your boyfriend, would he mind if I made my move?” Leaning in close he closed his eyes half way and tilted his head to the left slightly. His hand trailed from his plate to hover over her thigh. Keith was close enough to Carmine now to see that her eyes reminded him of the sky before a big storm. They looked calm and peaceful but at the same time seemed to be swirling and ominous.

Just as Keith’s lips were about to graze Carmine’s he grinned and pulled back from her but taking a sandwich from her plate as he went. The stolen morsel was already in Keith’s mouth before she could protest and he jumped away from the couch as he happily chewed. “All’s fair in love and war, and when it comes to food it counts as both to me.”
(how bad is it exactly? Like how long so far?)

Awaiting to hear the location of the phone, Carmine leaned against the wall watching him amusingly. Her expression slightly shifted into one of slight annoyance and she stuck her tongue out at him just as she did with Ryan often. "I'm calling my brother, he gets pretty worried." The girl stated, waltzing on into the living room. Within her mind she did feel like it would be better to tell Ryan that she was okay as well but there wasn't much way to get a hold of him.

Plopping herself down on the couch, she extended her arm out to grasp the phone within her palm. The brunette dialed up the phone number to her home, and it wasn't long after that it rung twice and Josh answered. "Hey." She spoke into the device, only to pull it away from her ear when Josh began questioning and demanding where she was. "Calm down, I stayed after school.....for some extra credit project." She began explaining, rolling her eyes. "Yes i'll be home later, bye." Clicking the phone off, Carmine's head rose in the direction of Keith who entered the living room with two plates piled with some of the largest sandwiches she had seen in some time. "I think this will keep me pretty full for days..." She mused, sinking back into the couch as he sat down beside her. Taking the sandwich, she sunk her teeth into it while trying to munch it all down. Swallowing it down, Carmine spoke. "Anything is good for me." She said, allowing herself to relax against him as she ate. Everytime she thought about it though, she felt slight remorse for not telling Ryan she had left to hang out with Keith.

Ooc: Lol yep ive been officially diagnosed with it, and its horrible O.o. Theres days where i go without sleep, but i seem to function pretty well rofl. And no your posts are awesome =]

Towering the ingredients in his arms Keith carried them all to the nearby counter and dropped them on it before beginning to open the bread. He smirked at Carmine’s words while letting out a deep rusty chuckle that seemed to be owned by someone ten times his age. “If you think that your day has been fun so far then just wait until you get a taste of my cooking. It’s like taking a bite out of heaven, Nirvana, and all the other places of paradise that I can’t name because I was too busy speaking to you in Global History instead of listening.”

The sandwich was now piled high with different cheeses and meats but Keith didn’t seem to slow down or even pay much attention to what he was adding. Just like riding a motorcycle he could do this with his eyes closed. “Phone’s in the living room, calling to let your boyfriend know your fine?” A small smirk played on his lips as he chastised her about Ryan.

It wasn’t too long before Keith held two plates that each carried a pile of massive sandwiches. Bringing them into the living room he ran back to grab a few cans of soda before hopping over the couch and landing next to Carmine. The television flickered on as Keith grabbed the remote and pressed a large red button on it, he flicked through the channels while looking for something to watch. “Tell me if you see something you want to watch.”

(I've actually been having a bit of insomnia myself. Last night was the first night in 2 weeks where I was actually tired and slept. And your posts haven't been crap o.o they've been like 10 times better than mine, which would make mine ultra crap!)

Her arms were latched around his waist, her head buried into his back as she held on pretty much for dear life. Never once had she really been on a motorcycle, and although she was half scare Carmine wasn't afraid to admit that she was rather excited about the experience. Once Keith had started it up, Carmine lifted her head to have the wind suddenly push against her. The intensity of it all was amazing. A smile played across her lips, watching the blur of colors whip on by them. She swore though everytime they made a turn, she was sure they were going to collide with the rough gravel of the roads.

Moments later she found that the wind now longer grazed her skin, but instead it had calmed down and the bike had slowed to a stop just outside a home that reminded her almost of her own. "Your insane you know that..." She joked, hoping off the bike first. Removing the helmet, she brushed back the dark locks of hair that hung in her face. Her stomach grumbled the moment he mentioned she hadn't ate, and it was true. "Yeah lunch food hasn't been too apetizing lately..." Carmine said, frowning lightly as she crossed her arms while following into the house.

The warmth inside was a relief in comparison to the cold weather outside. Rubbing her arms she allowed herself to warm up, while taking a look around the house. "Oh sure." The girl said, entering the kitchen behind him as she went over to pick up the bread and hand it to him. "I definately shouldn't be here...." She muttered, taking a seat upon one of the chairs within the kitchen. But I mean....he hasn't done anything to harm me.....Ryan's way too worried. she thought, lifting her gaze towards Keith. "You've really put some spice into my day." She commented, chuckling softly. Her thoughts soon wandered onto her brother, and Carmine rose to her feet. Shit I have to call him... she thought, knowing very well she would have to lie about where she was. "Mind if I use your phone?" The girl asked.

Ooc: My insomnia is keeping me up again >.<. lol and my post have been horrible lately

Feeling Carmine wrap her arms around his waist Keith revved the engine to a loud roar once again before twisting the handle causing the bike to shoot forward and speed out of the parking lot. The wind stung Keith’s face and he had to squint slightly as the speedometer read eight-five and didn’t show signs of stopping. If Ryan and Keith didn’t hate each other so much they might actually enjoy racing together at extremely high speeds.

The adrenaline rushed throughout his body as the bike sped over the asphalt, his fingers slightly numb from gripping the handlebars, his airway constricted due to Carmine holding on for dear life. He could feel her warmth radiating through his shirt and onto his back, in the cold weather this felt extremely nice and he was grateful for it since he had no jacket.

Taking the turns without slowly down at all it seemed impossible that anyone could keep that bike on both wheels but for Keith it was as easy as walking. He was in sync with everything that had to do with the bike and made it to his house without so much as a scratch on either of them. Pulling into the gravel driveway he shut off the engine and waited for Carmine to get off the bike before he did, his eyes traveled up to his house which resembled Carmine’s more that Ryan’s mansion did.

“It’s not much but its home. I keep the dirt bikes around back but I’m pretty sure you’re hungry. I noticed you didn’t eat anything in lunch today.” Hopping off of the bike and flipping down the kickstand he slowly strolled up into the house. It was dark inside but unusually warm. Flicking on the lights he led Carmine to the kitchen and looked inside the fridge before pulling out some sandwich meat. “Can you grab the bread Adeline? It’s over on the other counter.”

Her mind was sorting out thoughts like crazy, and she couldn't keep Ryan's words out of her mind. "I wasn't sneaking off.....and I told you he wasn't my boyfriend. He's simply a really good friend." Carmine said, her eyes settling on his face. Of course the girl took notice of how he looked her over, and it bothered her slightly since Ryan hadn't really looked at her in such a way.

Having him mention promises, she bit her lower lip recalling the promise she had meant to keep but had now totally broken. I promised no such thing to him.....he's the one who's assuming I'm going to hang out with him... Carmine's thoughts were soon broken when his hand clasped around her own and she was soon pulled along behind the school. "Hey slow down will ya." The girl said, keeping up with him as they went further through the trees of the woods. Truly she had never been this far out, but the excitement she recieved from being out here with him was surely enjoyable. Her heart sped up with the adrenaline that coursed through her veins.

Her eyes traveled over the motorcycle that was lifted out from some of the bushes there. Deep within the corners of her mind she knew very well it wasn't a safe idea, but then the adrenaline junkie half of her definately urged her to hop on. "Guess I don't have much of a choice..." She said, wrapping her fingers around the helmets smooth surface to lift it over her head. Placing it on, she stepped over behind Keith and slipped onto the motorcycle behind him. "Don't go too fast alright?.." She said, wrapping her arms around his waist. Pressing herself into him, Carmine held onto him.

“Umm hey yourself, trying to sneak off without me eh? And who doesn’t have to worry? Did you mean your boyfriend from lunch?” Keith smirked and leaned up against the brick wall of the school. His eye’s raked over her figure as he once again appraised her worth to the vampire. His conclusion was still the same, pretty good looking but that’s all he saw. “So you promised me an exciting day of fun and adventure. You should really keep your promises because if not then where’s the trust anymore?”

With a cocky grin and a slight wink Keith pushed off the wall and took Carmine’s hand in his own as he pulled her along the school towards the back. There wasn’t much back there save for the woods and a lone basketball hoop that looked as if it were about to break in half and fall over. Leading Carmine closer to the woods he released her hand and began to shift through some bushes, a few moments later he pulled out a shiny black motorcycle and flashed Carmine a grin before tossing her a helmet. “Well don’t just stand there, hop on.”

Keith threw his leg over the bike and kicked the beast into life. The engine was a deafening roar of power and masculinity which seemed to suit Keith perfectly to a T. Patting the seat behind him he waited for Carmine to get on behind him, he knew she would have to be close to him and that made him smile knowing that it would be a cheap shot to Ryan when he found out. “Don’t make me beg now. Get on and hold tight.”

Getting out of the car Ryan looked around for any sign of Carmine, he really hoped that Josh had come to pick her up because the alternatives weren’t as safe as that for her. A girl he had seen from one of the classes he was in walked by and he stopped her to ask her about Carmine. The girl had a slight blush when she noticed it was Ryan who was speaking to her but it turned into an angry pout when he mentioned Carmine. “Oh I have no idea where the hell she is. First she steals you and then she runs off with Keith the other new boy as soon as school ends. Why is it that she’s getting all this attention and I’m…” The girl didn’t get to finish because Ryan was already in his car and speeding out of the parking lot to find out where Carmine was and if she was safe.

(Good news ^^ I think I don’t have to leave for a hiatus!)

The girl had the roughest time grabbing her things and by the time she had made it towards the door, she stopped for a moment to hear Keith shout something out to her. "All right!" The girl called back, exiting the classroom. Her mind was racing at the thought of hanging out with the boy. Would Ryan be mad? No harm was truly done if she went with Keith, it was a friendly gesture since he was indeed new here. The thoughts never left her mind, and it was a continuous debate on whether she'd go with Keith or meet up with Ryan after school.

The last period seemed to drag on for the longest time. Carmine slept soundly through it until once again the teacher tapped her roughly with a ruler to awaken her. Sitting through yet another lecture, her eyes slid closed and she slouched over in her seat once more. "Dude, hey." a voice suddenly entered her ears. Snapping back to reality, Carmine looked over at Aiden. "Whats with you and new kids? Your already getting pretty comfortable with that keith guy." He said. Carmine narrowed her eyes, "I'm just being friendly, the guy is new here...." She said, but really Keith had been the one to draw her into the conversation and now even hanging out after school. Rubbing her temples, she sighed. "You know I'm not even sure what I'm doing...." Carmine admitted, rising from her seat the moment the bell rung. "I didn't think you'd talk to Keith to begin with, considering that whole deal with Ryan at lunch." He said. Carmine frowned, Shit.... she thought, exiting the classroom to head out into the parking lot of the school.

Students were exiting and leaving in their own cars, other still hung around in their groups around the campus. Walking forward, Carmine heard her name called once more by Aiden. "Remember, think about what your doing!." The boy said. Carmine rolled her eyes, "I know exactly what I'm doing....Ryan doesn't need to worry-" She was stopped in mid sentence when she bumped into Keith. "Umm hey..." The brunette greeted him.

Ooc: I figured she'd run into keith and didn't really have a choice, lol that and I suppose it would cause more drama there

As the bell rang Keith just grinned and stayed in his seat, he watched Carmine fumble to get her things together quickly and get out. Pulling the pencil out of his mouth he shoved it into his pocket and shouted out towards the escaping figure of Carmine. “So after school I’ll meet you in the front and we can hang out. I’ll see you later Adeline.” A soft grinned played on his lips as he watched her turn the corner or the door and go out into the hall.

There was complete silence as the group of four vampires sat in the living room. The discussion on why Ryan had told Carmine about them had come and passed with little incident. Rebecca had supported Ryan while William reminded Ryan of the consequences, it had gone better than he had hoped but the real problem was what they were thinking about now.

“So your saying that he’s a werewolf? But what would a werewolf be doing here of all places William?” Ryan had described the odor to William and he had known at once what Keith was. It was Rebecca who spoke up and William let her explain it for him. “Well probably the same reasons we’re here. For peace and quiet away from our own kind…” That could be true but really it was a long shot that the two of them could co-exist.

“I’ve got to go see if Carmine is fine, I’ll be back later to finish the discussion.” Ryan stood and made his way to his car, he started it up and began his drive towards the school. He would make it in time for the end of the last period. The car glided over the ground at amazing speeds and Ryan would have made it there faster if it wasn’t for a tree that had fallen in the middle of the road while some lumberjacks were cutting down a few of the tree’s that were too close to the street. They told him he had to take a detour which cost him a few minutes to get to the school but when he made it there he saw a few groups of people around it. His head moved from side to side as he tried to spot Carmine.

(I left it up to you whether she goes with Keith or Ryan, it doesn’t matter to me ^^)

The distance grew to a few inches now, and Carmine was definately feeling a little more uncomfortable the way he leaned in towards her. Yet he didn't appear to be more than a flirtatious boy. "Umm sure...." She said in return, not really being able to turn him down at that point. Lowering her gaze down to the notebook she had pulled out earlier, the doodles she had done with Ryan were still there and it made her clearly think of the promise she had made him which was now pretty much broken. I'm such an idiot... she thought, brushing back a few strands of dark hair out of her face.

When he spoke of Ryan, Carmine gazed back at him. "He's just a bit overprotective is all....we're really close." Carmine explained, tracing patterns on the desk as she spoke. Once she felt the space between them open up once more, she felt her heart return to a normal pace. Her breathing had evened out as well. Her smoky gray eyes lowered to his hand which was placed down by hers. Raising her head to look up at him, her gaze met with his own. "I....well...." Carmine didn't necessarily have an answer at that point. "We're just friends...." She said, relieved that the bell finally rung moments later. Thank god.... she thought, rising to her feet while collecting her things. "It was really nice talking to you." Carmine said, trying to ease her way out of the classroom as quick as possible.

The slight shift in her demeanor was easily noticeable, the way that she tried to move away from him only made Keith grin wider and lean in closer. “Skateboarding? I do a little of that from time to time. Although I do also have a dirt bike that I could use. You’ll have to take me out there and show me the trails later.” It wasn’t so much of a question but more of a command as he spoke to her. Keith didn’t use a condescending voice when he spoke but people usually felt compelled to do as he told them.

“So I saw you staring at me in lunch, I don’t think your boyfriend liked that very much… the one who got up and wanted to fight. I don’t know what his problem was but I guess he’s lucky the other girl got in the way.” Keith was smirking but had moved back into his seat to allow Carmine some room as he spoke about Ryan, he had a cocky attitude that was obvious but still knew how to work people into not hating the way he was.

Placing his pencil in his mouth he bit down on it slightly and chewed, it was a habit of his that might have to do with him being part canine. Keith placed his hand next to Carmines on the desk and the contrast of their skin color was strange but seemed to fit together nicely. “So is that kid your boyfriend then? The one from lunch, are you dating him or are you available?” Keith looked at her slightly and raised an eyebrow slightly as he waited for her answer. The closer he got to her the closer he got to getting rid of the vampire.
