Leah heard Draco echo her own swear word before reaching out to take ahold of her shoulders and steady her. She looked up with her emerald hues in embarrassment and slight shock. Her eyes locked with his grey eyes and she saw the brief concern that resided there before he looked away and coughed nervously. She looked down with a slight blush as he chastised her and led her to another bench right outside the castle never letting go of her shoulders. She sat on his command and looked up at him stubbornly "i'm ok, I swear, I was just a little dizzy" she said frantically as people passed them. The humiliation of being mothered was a big blow and she stood "look we'll be late...just" she reached out and looped her arm around his "help me a little. We're going to the same table, right? And look you can let go of me outside of the dining hall...so you don't have to be seen with me" she said and looked away. The fact that he would be ashamed to have someone like her holding onto him made slightly ashamed herself but she acted like it was nothing.

Draco rolled his eyes as the crowd of teachers appeared. Now it was defiantly his cue to leave. With another glance down towards Leah he smirked lightly to himself. She actually looked peaceful, who’d have thought someone so annoying could look so nice asleep. Shaking his head pushing those thoughts quickly out of his mind he reached up to run a hand through his blonde hair. Still he had no inkling to why he’d carried the brat out of the carriage rather then leave her to her humiliation in missing the feast. Sighing he began to walk away. As hands reached out touching his shoulder he whirled around only to find leave, “Don’t mention it, ever.” He spoke. Literally this was going to be a big blow to his ego if anyone found out he’d helped her. With narrowed eyes he saw her sway, “Damn.” He muttered before grabbing her shoulders. Steadying her his gaze held concern for a moment before he coughed nervously, “Sit down stupid you pass out again and you can stay on the ground.” He spoke gruffly trying to redeem himself. Still holding her shoulders he steered her towards another bench, “Sit down.” He ordered.

Leah felt faintly like she was floating, she smiled softly. She must be on a cloud, a dark, bumpy cloud. She groaned softly as pain spiked through her head and her deep emerald hues fluttered open to see a crowd of teachers and Draco standing above her. Suprise rippled through her as she saw him stand there, he must have carried her to the bench from the carriage but...why? She reached up a hand hesitantly and touched a large bump on her forehead "ouch" she groaned. Much to the protest of the teachers around her she sat up and swung her legs over the bench and planted her feet firmly on the ground. She swayed slightly but other than that she was able to stand, she waved their hands away "i'm fine, i'm fine. It's just a bump" she protested and rolled her eyes "geez" she grumbled before turning to head towards the school. She saw Draco in front of her, his gleaming white blonde hair a shining beacon, and she swallowed her pride before speeding up to catch him. Leah reached her hand out and lightly touched his shoulder before directing her eyes to the ground "...thanks" she said and looked off into the distance. She knew that she didn't deserve his help and she wasn't sure why he had helped her but she was appreciative of it all the same and he at least deserved a small bit of gratitude from her. She looked over to gauge his reaction nervously, a dizzy spell hit her and she swayed lightly on her feet, her hand coming to touch the bump on her head in frustration. "Damn..." she growled under her breath, that's all she needed was to look dumb.

[center][center]Draco gazed at Leah his eyes narrowed in disgust. Did she have to be in this carriage…with him. Frustrated his arms folded across his chest a deep scowl on his lips. As she glared at him his frustrations only further. Leaning forwards he decided to give her a piece of his mind only to have Leah interrupt. Growling under his breathe he sent a dirty look in her direction. Did this brat honestly expect them to get along after what she’d done. Pushing him Draco Malfoy into that muggle pool. Before the girl got a chance to finish her speech he gazed down startled to find Leah in his lap. As her lips brushed his he felt his eyes go wide. Had he just enjoyed that. Now this was awkward. With Leah unconscious he frowned unsure what to do. Although it had occurred to leave her right in the carriage while he walked away his conscious prevented him from doing that. His conscience since when had he had such a thing. Why should he care. Groaning he gently held her shoulders then swung the girl into his arms while he calmly stepped out of the carriage. How the heck was he ever going to live this one day. Spotting potter his humiliation only furthered. Potthead had seen him carrying this obnoxious little brat, “You owe me.” He hissed at the limp figure in his arms. This was his damn reputation that was now at stake. Spotting a bench he placed her down while a few of the teachers rushed over, “She hit her head…” He muttered.

Leah heard his own disgruntled grumble and a snake of anger rose in her like bile and she gritted her teeth in frustration. She should be enjoying her new school and the fact that she had made new friends but this jerk was ruining it all for her. She looked up and glared at him before leaning forward "listen" she said sternly "I know you don't like me and I certainly don't like you but we're just going to have to put up with each other for the rest of the year. So instead of needling at one another how about we just agree to disagree and get on with out serperate..." at this point in her speech the carriage hit a bump and jerked her forward so that she was flung forward. Her head hit the wall of the carriage pretty hard and starts burst in front of her eyes as she was thrown into Draco's lap. She grabbed immediately for his shoulders and there noses barely bumped together, her lips only brushing his but it didn't really register with her. She groaned as her vision grew fuzzy and she slid down on his chest. Great she was going to be unconcious and vulnerable in front of her new made enemy. He would probably leave her there and let her get humiliated when the carriages were taken away and she missed the start of term feast.

Harry watched Leah smiling kindly at the girl, “Don’t take it personally, Malfoy doesn’t like anyone. “ He was quick to tell her protesting against her words. Hearing the story about the pool he hide a small grin, “What I would have given to be there.” Shrugging he looked out the window, “We’re nearly there time to change.” Standing up he smiled again at Leah,” We’ll see you around Leah.” He spoke kindly then exited the compartment.

Draco moved with Pansy in deep conversation. Hearing Leah’s words a small sigh of frustration escaped his lips. It was that little brat. At her words he put a hand on Pansy’s shoulder. Did Leah have a death wish, you don’t insult Pansy Parkins. Rolling his eyes he sent a lazy death steer to annoying Witch, “What like you?” He spoke nastily. Pushing past her he exited out the train doors. Standing on Hogsmeade’s platform he shivered at the cold air slightly annoyed that it was yet again raining when they returned back to school. Shaking his head he entered one of the carriages leaving the door open. Sitting back on the chair he got comfortable only to see a figure move into the carriage. Realising who it was his eyes narrowed, “Great it’s you.” He muttered.

Leah sighed and ran a hand through her thick redish brown locks and shook her head lightly. "Yeah I found that out, but he especially hates me" when Harry started to protest she held up her maroon nailed hands "no really" she said and then proceeded to tell him the story about the pool. When she was done the three in the compartment seemed very pleased with her, Ron was practically howling with laughter and Hermione had a slight smile on her face. Leah shook slightly with laughter "well I guess it might be worth it" she said easily. When the train started to roll to a stop Leah stood and grabbed her things before going to change in one of the bathrooms. When she came out she started to move down the hall again only to find something blocking her path. It was Malfoy and a girl and Leah felt a small spike of jealousy that she couldn't quite explain but immediately she felt like poking at him. "Is that your girlfriend Draco?" she asked with a smirk "you could do so much better...or maybe not" she said with a shrug before whipping quickly down the hall with a slight blush on her cheeks. She couldn't believe that she had been mean to that girl just because she was jealous of a boy she hated, no less. Leah sighed, what is going on with me, she wondered exasperatedly before heading out of the train doors and stepping into the rain soaked night onto a platform that she knew to be in Hogsmeade. She looked around for the trio that she had come with but they seemed to have disappeared so she headed for the carriages that waited on the platform that older students were climbing into. The horses, if that's what you would call the skeletal creatures hooked to the carriages, snorted and pawed the ground impatiently. Leah ducked her head and climbed into the nearest one that was open to find herself in bad company once again. She was sitting across from Draco but this time there was no one else to witness their meeting "great" she grumbled but did say anything further. She was still embarrassed about her last comment on him and his girlfriend. She sighed and directed her emerald hues at her shiny shoes and the hem of her robs, her hand absentmindedly played with the hem of her skirt.

((I know so do I but you have to agree that it makes things oh so much more fun, lol. We can use the other characters on and off as minor characters when we need them but they don't really need to be main unless either one of us gets the desire to play them as such.))

[center]Draco set his stony gaze on Leah, who the hell did this girl think she was mouthing off to a Malfoy. Narrowed grey eyes continued to glare at her. As the girl stepped forward poking him in the chest his eyes went wide, “The nerve of you.” He hissed. She was much to cocky for his liking, someone as inferior as she was ought to learn a little more respect, “God, there is no god but here’s a correction for you little girl, This is my school you’re the one I’ve got to put up with so why don’t you turn around and go back to where ever you came from, maybe there you where the best but here I AM.” He snapped back at her. Finding out she was in slythering rather then in one of the more inferior houses plain shock was written across her face. This sucked, that stupid hat clearly something was wrong with it and dumbledore, “Keep out of my way.” Was his final threat as he stormed back into his compartment.

Harry and the others instantly stopped their whispering as Leah entered. As she returned to sit next to him he smiled lightly at her. Why was it that she looked so worried. Frowning he stared at her kindly, “That’s Malfoy for you a right little prat.” Shaking his head he settled against the seat comfortably, “You should probably keep your distance from him, though its going to be hard….he’s in Slytherin…”

Leah glared at the pale haired boy as he smirked at her saying that perhaps she was a bad omen, a jinx. This struck a nerve with her, he couldn't know that she had been teased as a child with those very same words. As a young girl she had accidently set a tree on fire when she had been upset about losing a game of hide and seek with her mothers friends children. Ever since then she had never been allowed to play with the other kids and that was the reason that her parents moved them to France. It had taken a while but Leah had gotten over it as she had matured and she was a more confident person now that she understood why those things had happen, never the less it still bothered her. Leah stepped forward poking him in the chest with a glare even more vicious than the last one that she had given him "or maybe, just maybe, God is cruel and thought it would be funny to put a pig headed, puffed up ass like you in the same school as me. And maybe you're scared that i'm better than you" she snapped before stepping back and folding her arms across her chest and glaring at him with her bold emerald hues. "Please don't tell me you're in Slytherin too?" she asked with a humorless laugh, but when he confirmed the fact she nearly choked on her own tongue. "You've got to be kidding!" she shrieked and threw up her hands "well I guess we'll be seeing a lot of each other then since we're both in Slytherin...how pleasant" she said and wrinkled her nose. Leah tossed back her long chestnut locks and with that she picked up the chocolate frog and paid the trolley witch before turning on her heel and wading through the crowd once again to get back to the compartment where Ron, Hermione, and Harry were. When she opened the door the three stopped whispering to each other at once with a look at her but she didn't even care as she flopped into a seat next Harry once more and opened her frog before viciously biting its head off. She chewed and swallowed before sighing and leaning her head against the cold glass of the window and peering out into the rainy night outside. God really was playing a cruel joke on her by putting her and that boy together. It wasn't bad enough that they went to the same school but they had to be in the same house too! She frowned angrily at the mountains that they were passing through and pictured his face. His sneering, pale, handsome, strong....no! She stopped the thoughts immediately and turned her attention back to the three people in the compartment with her. Harry was looking at her with something like worry in his eyes and she smiled lightly and before he could ask she answered him "I'm all right. I just had a nasty meeting with Draco Malfoy in the hall" she explained softly. For some reason she had a good feeling about Harry, he seemed like someone you could trust, a good person and it had nothing to do with the stories about him.

((Lol, I think she sort of uses Harry as a distraction from Draco because she refuses to admit that she likes Draco.))

Hermione lingered in the door way Ignoring Ron’s whining complaints. Shaking her head she smiled at Leah, “Well if your sure…” She responded. With that the three of them entered the compartment. Taking a seat next to Ron that left Harry to sit next to Leah, “Thanks for that.” With a curious expression Hermione watched the girl wondering why they’d never seen her before. Maybe she was in Ginny’s grade. “Hi Leah, I’m Hermione and that’s Ron and Harry.” She answered, while each shook her hand. Finding out that she was a new student Ron grinned, “You’ll love hogwarts.” He insisted , “Might be a bit different to what your used to though…” He added. All that earned was a sharp,hard slap from Hermione. Protesting he sighed then leant against the seat sulking, “Your in Slytherin…” Hermione whispered. Frowning she looked away not seeming to be rude, “Yes we’re all in…Gryffindor.”she mumbled.Listening to Leah Harry nodded his head lightly continuing to watch her, “The hat never lies…” Not explaining he just gave her a weak smile while thinking back to his own experience with the hat. He himself had nearly been sorted into slythering, much to his pleasure the hat had relented placing him in Gryffindor, “ It means that, well we have problems, it would be good if a few slytherins and Gryffindors got along .” Hermione explained while Ron snorted rudely, “Ignore Ron, we …just have our disagreements with that house,as do every one..” Meanwhile Harry continued to watch Leah, something about her was quite striking. Nodding his head he watched her stand up loosing himself to his thoughts.

Draco strolled out of the compartment pusjing a first year out of the way. With a sly expression he reached for the chocolate frog only to have someone else’s hand brush against his. Realising who it was his hand instantly yanked back his arm falling to his side. He’d enjoyed touching this brats hand. Shock written plainly across his face he gazed up at her, so maybe she wasn’t a muggle then. Shaking his head he returned a matching glare, “You.” Disgusted he abandoned the idea of buying something then gazed up at her with a cocky expression, “Didn’t fancy seeing you again, maybe you’re a bad omen ,you afterall where the one to say see you around, perhaps you jinxed it.”

Leah turned her head and watched as a trio of people came into the compartment she had chosen. A girl with bushy brown hair was muttering to a tall redheaded boy while another boy followed them with an exasperated expression, his jet black hair and startling green eyes attracted her attention first before she saw the lightening mark on his forehead. That mark could only mean one thing, this must be the famous Harry Potter she had heard so much about at her school in France. Leah smiled and held up her hands to the girl when she apologized "hey don't sweat it, it's plenty roomy if you guys want to sit in here. I don't bite, promise" she offered with a wink and motioned to the seats around her "I don't mind the company" she said. When they accepted her invitation she looked them over with a curious expression, the group looked pretty tight knit but it wouldn't hurt to start making friends before she got to the school so she wouldn't look like a complete idiot when she didn't know where to go. Unlike the first years she wouldn't have to sit through the sorting ceremony since the headmaster Dumbledore had came to her house with the sorting hat and taken care of that. The results weren't exactly what she had expected or what she had hoped for, she had been alotted to Slytherin house and she wasn't exactly sure just how everyone would take that. "I'm Leah" she said with a friendly smile and held her hand out to each of them in turn when they introduced themselves. She blushed when they asked her what house she had been put in "I-I was put in Slytherin but I wish I had been in Gryffindor...the hat didn't seem able to make a sure choice between the two but it said that I might be a good ambassador. Whatever that's supposed to mean" she said with a sigh and a shrug. She knew that these three would most likely be in Gryffindor and she hoped they didn't mind that she was in a different house, especially the house that they hated the most. Harry seemed to be quite interested in her and was staring at her like she was fascinating, little did she know that the sorting hat had done the same thing with him his first year at Hogwarts. She just brushed it off and figured it was her looks that attracted him, after all the stares weren't uncommon. She watched slightly amused as the girl Hermione slapped Ron on the arm for staring with his mouth slightly open. Leah heard the trolley down the hall and she stood ready to excuse herself before the boys got into too much trouble "excuse me" she said politely leaving them to their discussion before heading out into the hall once again. She easily slipped through the many students clogging the hallway and made it to the trolley with only a few incidents with some boys trying to get her attention. When she saw all of the food she couldn't quite decide until she saw the object of her desire, she reached for a chocolate frog just as someone else did. Their fingers touched and electricity seemed to shoot through her while her stomach filled with butterflies, her hand didn't move and neither did the persons before she looked up to see the boy she had pushed in the pool. Draco. Her eyes widened and she yanked her hand back "you!" they said at the same time, she glared at him pointedly her emerald hues narrowed severly. Just her luck she would bump into this boy here and even worse was the feeling that had shot through her body when their hands touched. She felt betrayed by herself and it only made her want to lash out at the boy even more.

It was on his mothers words that Draco Malfoy now found himself to be in this disastrous situation. A pureblood wizard surrounded by these…things in Sunny England, the water park to be exact. Sighing he looked towards Grabbe and Goyle, the two cronies that happened to be his followers. Almost like pet dogs, but free of the expense at having to feed them. Shaking his head his grey eyes drifted across the place. His mother, why had that woman more or less order him out of the house…To have fun in this hell hole. What had she been thinking. This was the pits of hell in his opinion, to be surrounded by muggles. What he would do to be running in diagonalley or nocturnalley this very instance. With a bored expression he moved towards the diving block only to have moments later a child appear. Smirking he gazed down at the muggle boy, “Pipsqueaks can’t dive here.” As the kid ignored his words proceeding to climb up the later Crabbe pushed him off with a loud snigger. Rolling his eyes somewhat he leant against the ladder watching as the kid tore of, probably to cry to his mummy Draco thought. Oblivious to Leah he failed to notice as Goyle turned around his eyes practically glued to her, “H…hh…ii..”He stuttered. At Goyle’s voice he turned around with a lazy sigh, “What now?” He grumbled. As his gaze fell to Leah he silently watched her, for a muggle she was quite…passable. Pushing that thought from his mind he continued to watch her a slight sneer on his face, “Authority like you would know what that is.” He snickered. Shaking his head he turned his attention to Grabbe and Goyle, did these two mindless idiots honestly not know how to talk. Letting his gaze drift make to Leah he listened to her quietly. Introducing Grabbe and Goyle he once more set his sights on her.

As she stepped closer his eyes close, to what find himself falling backwards into the pool. With a growl of frustration he glared up at her muttering a string of curses under his breathe. That…b!tch,how dare a muggle treat him this way. Glaring at her he watched her leave. While Grabbe and Goyle pulled him out of the pool he continued to glare after her disappearing shape, “We’re leaving.” He hissed.

With a lazy manner Draco began to push his trolley along the platform. Shaking his head he pushed the trolley through platform 9 1/3 thus entering their world. While his trunk was loaded onto the train he quickly boarded entering his compartment. A few moments later Grabbe and Goyle entered along with Pansy. Frowning he watched them before turning to gaze out the window. Soon the trolley lady would arrive, feeling peckish he stood up the compartment door sliding open while across from him he could see the potter trio, “Why if it isn’t pothead, weasel and the muggle. “He taunted. While they scurried into the opposite compartment he leant against the wall snickering.

“Ignore him Ron.” Hermione spoke firmly as she pushed open the compartment door. Spotting Leah she quickly apologised, “Sorry we thought it was empty.” She explained.
