| Christian paused upon hearing the commands and dangerous threats eminating from a drunk’s mouth. He didn’t need to witness the scene to know that he was harming some innocent victim and would probably soon become abusive. A very faint voice of a young girl could be heard beneath the man’s enraged yelling. Christian sighed exaggeratively, an obvious indicate of annoyance and partially, surprisingly, of indifference. He turned around to find the arguing couple not far behind him along the deserted sidewalk. He didn’t hesitate to walk right up to them, stopping just behind the young girl he’d captured in his grasp. “Well, well, well,” he murmured between the cigarette. He’d obviously caught them off guard with his intrusion. He took advantage of that and walked slowly, slyly, around the girl to go up to the man in front of her. “I believe I’ve seen this scene before.” He lifted his fingers to his mouth and took the cigarette away from his lips to linger between his fingers casually at his side. He released a warm mist of smoke from behind his lips, blowing it lightly into the man’s face. “But, you’re doing it wrong.” He waited to see the confusion on the man’s face. “The thugs usually find an abandoned alleyway or a dark corner to harass the beautiful young girls.” Pointing at the man’s face before letting his hand drop to his side again, he remarked, “You’re not sticking to protocol. And,” he bowed his head as he moved to circle around the man and stop on the other side of him, “-I think this is the part where the dashingly handsome superhero,” he said gesturing to himself, mockingly arrogant, “Makes his appearance to rescue the maiden and return her safely home.” He paused, his expression completely calm and unfailingly confident as he eyed the man carefully. Lifting his hand to his mouth, he took in another breath of smoke and finally broke the silence and murmured indifferently, “That is how it goes, isn’t it?” When he finally turned his head slightly to the left to look at the “damsel in distress”, the first time he looked at her, his entire countenance froze. His deep eyes remained on her face, never showing any hint of hesitance or faltering confidence. He looked at her, really looked at her, for what seemed like a long while. Never saying a word, but instead embracing the brief silence. |

| Rosaline moved almost soundlessly along the sidewalk, her footsteps light against the solid concrete. Her head bowed, she fixed her gaze upon the ground a meter or so ahead of her, icy blue hues shimmering with unshed tears. Slender arms were folded across her chest and shoulders hunched against the cool night air, her clothing clearly not managing to keep her warm. Fine stands of raven hair fell around her face only highlighting further her pale complexion. She hadn’t even noticed Christian yet and, with her gaze directed to the ground, it would be more than likely that the two would collide if he stopped in front of her for whatever reason. “Rosa! Rosa, don’t you walk away from me!” The girl’s steps faltered and she turned sharply, lifting her gaze from the sidewalk to look back up the street. A male, tall and well-built, stormed toward them his face puce with rage as he continued to scream various obscenities, threats and demands at the raven-haired girl. As he drew closer Rosaline began to back away from him, clearly frightened, but was unable to move out of reach fast enough as the male reached out and snatched hold of her small wrist. A faint cry of alarm escaped her as she was jerked forward by her arm and sent crashing into the enraged man’s chest. “Where do you think you’re going, eh?” The male sneered, the stench of beer radiating from his clothes as he reached out to grab Rosaline’s free arm, crushing both slender wrists in his grasp. In pain and clearly terrified, the girl could only stammer weak apologies and pleas for him to let her go, the tears that had been shimmering within her eyes now trickling down her cheeks. ((Sorry if it isn't the best, wanted to get something up tonight before i went to bed! Will expand on her as we go)) |

| ((human form)) “C’mon, man. You’re seriously gonna miss out on all the chicks in there?” Erin said as he stood anxiously in the doorway. Inside, a tempting collage of pool tables, a thriving bar, and sensual waitresses could be seen. A typical place that was heaven on earth to a twenty-year-old guy. But Christian gave a wry smile and spoke over the roar of music emanating from the room inside. “Keep your ‘chicks’. I’m headin’ back to the apartment.” Erin shrugged in defeat and retreated to the party without argument. Letting the door swing closed behind him. Christian turned away in response and began walking down the deserted sidewalk, shadowed from the light of the moon by the tall buildings that lined the left side. He stuffed his hand in his pocket to pull out a half-full box of cigarettes and lifted it to his mouth as his other hand reached down into his back pocket to pull out a small silver lighter. He trapped a cigarette between his teeth and pulled it out of the box, placing it back in the pocket of his jacket and then cupping his hand around the flame as it blackened the smooth white exterior and set it ablaze. He released a breath of smoke through parted lips as he cocked his head to one side to sway a lock of black hair away from his eyes. It was ironic that his name was Christian, as was the silver cross he wore around his neck. Ironic because he had no definite beliefs of his own and he was anything but a Christian devoted to prove them self before God. Besides spending most of his time either hunting in the far-off woods or lingering at an exceptional bar, his appearance alone would be enough to prove that his name opposed his being. He wore black jeans, a deep gray T-shirt that fit closely to the perfectly sculpted features of his body, covered by a dark jacket. His ears were pierced with few jewelry ranging from spikes to crossbones, along with a silver piece at the corner of his brow, and his hands were encased in torn, fingerless gloves. He always figured that it matched his disposition in perfect synchrony. Looking up at the sky, he saw that the moon was almost full. It will probably complete its cycle in the next couple of nights. When the moon was full, Christian was nearly unstoppable, but he also found it difficult to control himself in his “wolf state”. On any other night, he could shift on a whim as long as the moon was in the night sky. However, under the light of a full moon, he had no choice but to shape shift. He was forced into his wolf form and lost most of his human thoughts and feelings, but he also gained additional abilities such as healing and greater strength and speed. It was on these nights that he usually took off into the woods miles away from civilization in order not to cause any… disturbance. As he walked, Christian seemed to notice another pair of footsteps against the concrete, a very faint and paced pattern of footsteps that trailed not too far behind him. ((well, there’s a lil sumthing to start us off. Hope it isn’t too horrible)) ((and wolf form))
