an apparition
form wavering
no one notices
you're disappearing
into thin air
then you're gone

floating around us
haunting
chilling to the bone
you're not dead
sitting behind us
are you watching
with those clouded eyes?

you hide
within yourself
ghostly spirit
hidden from the living
to see you
must I do the same?

you must be cold
lonely
i will wrap my arms around you
and disappear too
lurking spirits in the dark
gazing with clouded eyes
