Groans as she sits up in her bed, running her hands over her face before she slams her hand onto the buzzer of her clock. She pushed her self up, got into the shower and then got dressed. She pulled her hair into a lose bun with a few braids here and there.

Grabbing the paper from the printer she threw it into her back pack and went down stairs, she didn’t have time to eat. She opened the door and there was her best friends standing there looking across the street. “A new person?” Sadie asked arching a brow and trying to see who it was…but she saw no one and she frowned slightly.

“Yea…” She tried to remember his name but she had forgotten. “Uh some guy with his brother.” She shrugged and closed the door, walking down the steps and the side walk she had to listen and answer questions from Sadie who was so boy crazy.

Alex was so happy to be leaving school, she found it time wasting but she knew it had to be done. She walked home with Sadie and Ryan her two best friends and now her project helpers. They had reached her home and Ryan and her were climbing the stairs when Sadie stopped and turned. “Hey is that the new guy? He is cute!”

Alex turned and glanced across the street and nodded. “Yea.”

In a matter of moments Sadie had crossed the street, Alex groaning as she did so. “Hey…I am Sadie.” She gave him one of her flirty smiles.

Haiden could barely drag himself out of bed the next morning. He felkt as if he had a hangover, the cuts on his face bruising now. He walked into the kitchen, his brother eating cereal at the table. The tv was on, and they were displaying a news cast about a girl being attacked by a dog. Haiden shot a glance at his brother.

"I swear. I only ate the deer you ate after me." Drake said, throwing his hands up in his defense. Haiden had no reason to disbelieve hsi brother.

"Alright. I need you to go to the store, pick up some food." Haiden said lowly, handing him money. "I don't have the strength to."

Drake nodded. He could see the tole whatever brought him here was taking on his brother.

Haiden walked outside, laying in the grass, looking up at the sky. He sighed, the pain had never gone away. Just dulled without the girl being in his presence.

Yawns as she sat in front of her computer screen, she just stared at it and gave it a little glare for she was getting angry at the thing. Oh how she hated writing papers! She winkles her nose at it and got up from her chair. She ran her fingers though her hair and stretched her arms up over her head, popping her back as she did so.

Climbing down the stairs she heard the kitchen TV on. She walked into it and saw her brother in front of a pizza box in haling the pizza and she arched a brow as she looked at him. She shakes her head and grabbed a glass, going to the sink she turned on the water.

“Hey sis you got to look at this, the news says someone was attacked…” Throwing a glance over her shoulder she saw the news.

She shrugged her shoulders. “So?” She rolls her eyes, not thinking anything of it. She looked out the window and blinks, had she just seen the figure of a dog? She blinks again and then the thing was gone and she shakes her head and turned, her back pressing into the counter. One arm over her chest as she sips at her water.

She turned her eyes back onto the news, something had happened in the town. Something or one had attacked a young girl…she found the quite shocking, nothing every happened inside this town.

Even in his wolf form he couldn't stop the pain from running through his body. As if he had been kicked he rolled to his side, then sprung up and darted. He couldn;t see. The pain was so blinding. He ran straight into a car door, and rolled under it, disappearing into a mist, just as his brother always had done.

Back in the house, Haiden examined the wound. There was a giant cut across his chin, and an equally bigger one on his eye brow. He stumbled into his brother room, Drake didn't even need an invitation.

"Sit down dumb ass." he said, looking at his older brother. He stitched the eye brow and chin shut, wiping the blood away and handing him ice packs.

A soft smile came to her lips as he gave her, her hands back. “Thanks…” She looked at him and saw a pain inside his eyes but she didn’t ask this was strange enough. Blinks as she turned her head towards the sound, she barrows her brows and looked towards the house across the street wondering what it was.

Nods her head at his words but didn’t look at him, her eyes were glued onto that house. She wondered what that was about…who that was…yes these new people across the way were sure weird.

“Nice meeting you to and thanks again.” She held her hand up. She walked into the house and closed the door. Looking down at her hands again, she shakes her head and lets her hands drop. Walking into the kitchen she grabbed a bowl and poured her self so cereal. Yawning she went up stairs, to eat, think and do some home work.

Roxie walked past her window and glanced out of it, there below it she saw a black dog. A bit of a large black dog. Going down stairs she opened the door, not scared at all she loved dogs and any way she had to check if it was lost, right? “Hey there…where did you come from?” She knelt and held out her hand to the dog.

The wind caught her scent and he shifted. His head began to ache.

"Well, there you go Alex...." He said, returning her hands to her. He was in so much pain standing by her. He prayed that something would catch his attention, and his prayer wan answered. Drake had jumped in through the back window, crashing into a bookshelf.

"THAT WASN'T FUCKING THERE THIS MORNING!" Drake yelled at the top of his lungs.

"I....I need to go. It was nice meeting you." Haiden said, doing an about face and trotting into his house.

Drake was standing with his hand behind his head, scratching, trying to look all non-chalant.

"Drake..." Haiden said and shook his head, leaving the house in hurry, disappearing into the woods.

The wolf was sunning faster then he ever had. His heart raced, but not because of his speed. He stopped, the smell of blood heavy in the air. He looked around, his brother was messy with his meals. The black wold nosed part of the deer leg he was standing on. He bit down into it, only taking a mouthful or two.

Haiden looked up, and ran back into the streets. He had been gone for a while, it was dark. He sat outside of a nice house, looking up into a window.

Tyler looked around wondering where his brother was and wondering just how old he was. There wasn’t many people around and he would love to meet someone he could hang with. A soft sigh left his lips as he turned and looked at his some what mad sister. “Oh she is always mad at me.” He rolled his eyes and laughed softly.

“Oh no-” She was about to tell him she was fine but then he was gone and she looked at her brother, not happy at all and wondering who in the hell this strange man was.

Looking at him she arched her brow. “Uh ok…” She shrugged. “Look you really don’t have to do this, I am fine. I got stuff in the house to…so…” She felt his touch and was about to take her hands away but stopped her self she had to be more nice. “Uh thanks.” She winced slightly as she felt the sting on her skin. “My name is Alex.”

Tyler gave them a sides why glance and grabbed the bowl and was going inside.

Alex frowned at him and his look. “Don’t wake mom up, she has to work in three hours…” She tilted her head so she could look at the back of her brother, knowing his loudness.

Haiden looked at the boy and smiled softly. "Hello, my name is Haiden. My brother is around here somewhere....We're new to this state." he said lowly, looking around the wooded area for a brown figure. he saw nothing. "I believe your sister is mad with you." He added, looking at the girl. The pain struck him in the heart. Haiden noticed that she was limping. The pain grew even more. He grunted in pain, softly.

"Let me help you with your cuts..." he said lowly, running into the house and grabbing paper towels and antiseptic to clean her wounds.

"My name is Haiden." he said, taking her hands and cleaning the cuts. The smell of blood caught in his nose. He waited for her answer, slowly cleaning her wounds, looking up at her occasionly.

Tyler was biting his lower lip as he sat on the front porch, a bowl of fruit loops sitting in his lap. He watched his sister run into the words and then he looked over at the house across the way. He was eyeing the man and tilted his head as he fell to the ground for a moment. He shrugged it off and eat it his food, finishing it off quite fast.

Alex moved down the path, really not paying any mind to the trail. The music was blasting hard in her ears, just like her heart in her chest. Her foot got caught under something and she feel forward, her hands coming out to block the fall. Rocks cut into the palms of her hand and her knees and she winces. Rolling over onto her bum she looks at her hands and frowns. “Crap…” She whispers and rises up. She threw her ear bugs over her neck and started to walk home. Her hands and knees stinking.

Tyler stood up and cast his dish on the wooden railing and started walking across the street towards the knew people. He had a smile on his lips as he climb one stair. “Hey…I live right next door, my name is Tyler…” He held out his hand.

Walking with a slight limp she walked down the street, taking a leaf out of her hair. She threw it a glare and threw it to the ground. She got to her house, not even looking over at the other house. She climbed the stairs and saw the bowl and frowned and grabbed it. “Tyler…” She groaned out as she called him and turned and saw him over at the house. She frowned and turned to face him, waving the bowl. “Tyler!”

[center]The town was very small, quaint. It looked like every one knew everyone. But it was still too much for Haiden. He was used to the desolate place he lived originally. But a voice in his head brought him here. In all his nineteen years he had never felt so out of place. The house was small, the way he liked it, but still had a very lavish look to it. Why not? He had all the money to squander.

"Quiet though" he said to himself and walked into the house, a faint fog seeming to follow him. Before he entered the house he looked at his neighboring house. Something told him this is where he was supposed to be. "Come on Drake....." he sighed, motioning for his younger brother. The seventeen year old followed him obiediently, looking at the street with a slight smirk on his face.

Drake walked out of the house early in the morning. He darted into the small woods near the property line and disappeared into the fog that had formed. Haiden was already gone, getting them furniture for there new house. He returned with a rental truck, and started moving all the things in himself.

He paused. Looking up into the sky as if something had caught his attention, he turned around to see a girl running, a sharp pain struck him in the chest and he fell to the ground. he clutched his chest in pain and yelled out.

"Gah!" he exclaimed, pushing himself back up to his feet. He continued loading everything into the house with ease. Everything either had wheels, pads or could be moved on a handtruck.

When he finished he lay on the front lawn. Half waiting to see the girl again.

“Alex…” A voice came into her ear and she swat towards the area where she had heard the voice coming from. “Uh come on! Alex…” Now hands where upon her and shaking her back and arm. “Wake up!” Now she knew where she had heard the voice before, Tyler her younger brother.

Slowly her eyes fluttered opened and Alex turned her eyes towards her brother. “What do you want…” She speaks out, quite tired still as she turned her eyes towards the clock. It was not even 2:00 A.M. “What the hell are you doing waking me up so early?” She was angry, she was sleeping so well. She slowly sat up, running her fingers though her some what messy hair.

“Something is out side! Very strange mist…come on!” He had hold of her arm and was tugging on it motions towards the window. For being only 10 he was getting quite strong.

“What…are you talking about strange mist?” She though he had watched one of his scary movies again and were seeing things. She sighed and pushed aside the blankets. “Ok, ok ill look.” She rose up and went to the window. She moved aside the curtain and looked down upon the street. A mist was rolling down the black top, it was indeed strange and she tilted her head. It seemed as if there was a soft glow coming from it. Her eyes shifted and she looked across the street towards the empty house. “Someone bought the house…” The sold sign was swinging slightly, she swore that it wasn’t there before…

She shakes her head and turned to face her brother. “Its nothing…you need to get back into bed before mom finds out you stayed up late.” She points towards his room.

“But…” He was about to start but she made him leave. It wouldn’t do anyone any good if their mother came to find that Alex wasn’t doing her job. She climbed back into the bed and threw the covers over her self. But something strange came over her. She didn’t feel the same…as if something in her life was about to change.

Alex woke up with the sun coming into her eyes and a soft groan left her lips as she pulled the sheets over her head more. But she wasn’t tired anymore, but she laid there for a moment or two more before sitting up and looking at the clock. It was early morning and a Sunday. Pushing the covers off of her she slides out of the bed and stumbled into the bathroom.

After changing and getting ready she came out in running cloths. She was stretching and then grabbed her I pod. Slipping on her shoes she walked out of her room and looked over and saw her mothers door closed and knew she was home. She stuck in the ear bugs and left the house. She was happy that they lived in a small town, there was forest all around their street and many trails and she loved to run here and listen to her music. It cleared her mind so much.
