Niklas saw that she had slew one of the Chiropertines then he holstered the revolver from his hand as the last of the monters approached both her and Miyu, "And with this day. The bane of you monsters is born." He said to the monsters not expecting them to know what he was sawing though he jammed his own blade into the eye of one of the monsters that approached him keeping still so that Miyu could get more used to destroying the creatures herself instead of having to rely on Niklas to fight.

Haji had seen Kai use his own weapon then he tucked the revolver he as going to give to Kai into her jacket and then slammed his metal plated cello case into the side of one of the creatures approaching him just about splattering the brains of the Chiroperine all over the concrete that surrounded them.

Kai had always feared that the Chropteran would return. His greatest fears had come true. They were as vile and disgusting as they were all those years ago. They carried the stench of blood, and death with them where ever they went. “Get behind me.” He told Kayura in a musky voice. “Close your eyes. Whatever you do….whatever you hear…do not open them.” Kayura closed her eyes then put her hands over them. Her body shook, all she could do was listen. Kai did not want Kayura to see what he was about to do. He did not want either one of his daughters to be exposed to this. It was their fate. Miyu had been the one to step up and fight so that Kayura could live a semi normal life. Kai pulled out a pistol and loaded it with special bullets. He had not used them before. He did not want to use them unless he had no other choice. This happened to be one of those moments. “I am sorry Saya….” He had promised Saya that he would never fight again. He had no other choice. If he did not fight then his daughters would more than likely be killed.

Miyu closed her eyes tightly and turned her face away from the bloody battle. “STOP!” She yelled at the top of her lungs. She wanted all of this to end. She was scared, and most of all she was not ready for any of this. It fell silent for a moment. The battle fell still, not a peep was made for a few seconds. She opened her eyes to see that there was a Chiropteran face to face with her. It’s nostrils flared out as it sniffed her like a wild animal would. While the creature examined her she ran her thumb over the top part of the blade. “I….will not…..” She jumped back from the Chiropteran so that she could distance herself from it. “I will not let you win!” She ran the blade through the belly of the Chiropteran. Her blood acted like a poison as it entered in to the beast’s bloodstream. It howled and cringed as its body crystallized then turned to dust. The remaining Chiropteran’s all looked at Miyu, she was now the main threat and had to be destroyed.

(It's alright if you don't just flat out outright take over. And yes, there are 4 more. Niklas is still trying to get her to fight)

I have a couple questions....

Are there any Chiropteran left for Miyu to fight?
May I control your character a little?

The beast's body turned when she whispered and then it started running at them, "Miyu. Get ready for the kill strike." Niklas said to her urgently ignoring the questions mainly so that the beast wouldn't be able to follow his voice since they all knew Niklas since he had recently tried to go into the hive and destroy them before they could cause any problems.

Haji watched as more Chiropterines approached his group and then he made a dagger slip out of his sleeve and then he held out an oddly designed revolver to Kia, "This is a new weapon designed by a few old friends. The rounds are tipped with Saya's solidified blood and also explosive charges in each round. It carries eight rounds of ammunition according to David." He said calmly and then threw the dagger in his red hand which pierced through one of the beast's eyes.

When it was obvious that she wasn't going to fight back he advanced rapidly decapitating the creature with one slash then he turned around and took out one of his own eight shot revolvers shooting three more that had followed her nervous talk which detinated with the force of a pound of C4 explosives for each victim.

Miyu studied the elements of the sword. She wasnted to get to know this peice of equipment as if it were a living breathing person. It was important to know and unerstand ones weapon. "Sister....father...I will not fail...." She thought to herself as she tried to keep up with Niklas's pace. He was so much faster than she was. Miyu had never been really athletic. Sure she was strong, and quick but nothing compared to Niklas. His movements were so smooth and perfect. He made it all look so easy. "What did your sensei mean when he called my sister and I the new queens?" She asked Niklas as he slowed down a little. He did not answer her so she asked him again, "What did he mean??" Yet again Niklas did not answer her. It was begining to bother her a little. Miyu often talked a lot when she was scared or nervous. Right now she was a mix of the two.

To be honest she was not ready for any of this. She was scared out of her mind. When Niklas stopped she hid behind him. It was obvious that the Chiropteran was near. It was so close....Miyu could feel it in her veins. She could even smell the fowl beast. It smelled like rotting flesh, and wet dog. It was a horrible smell. The smell of it made Miyu want to vomit. She had to cover her nose for a moment so she would not throw up. "What IS that smell?!" She asked Niklas. It was a dumb question to ask since she already knew the answer to it.

A shadow was cast over the alley Niklas and Miyu were hiding in. It was the creature. It was looking for them. Miyu began to tear up as it came closer and closer to them. She closed her eyes tightly, "Go...away..." She whispered. Sooner or later the chiropteran was going to find them vand she would have to fight. In order to kill the chiropteran they would need her blood.

Niklas drew his longsword and then said to her, "That blade was specially designed. Cut your thumb on the small edge near the hilt and let the blood run down the blade throught the blood groove. Once that's done try to pierce the skin." He said to Miyu while Haji stayed back to protect Kai and Kayura if Niklas and Saya were to be unable to dispatch this new beast. Niklas was at the ready to destroy this monster with any techniques that he had at his disposal, "Are you ready now Miyu?" He asked her holding up his large blade in his hands like a knight would in Europe's middle ages.

Haji merely stood back and watched the two of them ready for the quickly approaching fiend. He saw that Niklas was indeed the guardian that Miyu needed in this battle against the Chiropterines and whoever was bringing them back to existence.

Now it was time for the two parties to part ways before they got involved. Miyu had made her decision. She was going to fight. She was going to protect what was most precious to her. Her family is what mattered the most. If anything happened to either one of them she would simply lose it. She could not bare the thought of losing either her sister or father. Miyu pulled away from the man's hand and spoke softly to her father and sister. "Father.....Kayura....please stay with Haji. Let me take care of this." She looked back at the younger man with her light blue eyes. "Let's do this. I will not stand for this thing threatening my family. I want my sister and father to be left out of this entire thing. This is my war. I will end this!"

"Are we just going to stand here and wait for it to come and kill us???" She asked Niklas in a soft voice. "Haji......I know you are already watching over aunt Saya, but I have to ask you to do me a small favor. Please watch over my father and sister. Please protect them like they were your own kin. Make sure they lead a normal life. Keep them happy."

Miyu began to unsheathe the sword very slowly. She waited for Niklas to make a move. If he charged the beast she would be right by his side the entire time.

Haji looked to Niklas who in turn nodded before he used his speed to be able to follow close to Miyu. He had to stop her, it was all the truth and she was a target because the artificial creatures were attracted to their blood who belonged to both Saya because of their father and also to Deva. She was like a magnet for the creatures, "Miyu. Calm down. You're going to attract more of those creatures." He said to her as he slowed down just enough so that he could talk to her, "It was all the truth. My parents were killed by Deva's chivaliet when I was only three years old. Because she told the monsters to feed on them." He said to her then he grabbed onto her hearing heavy footsteps, "Quiet. One is approaching." He said to her covering her mouth so that the sound would give away their position.

"....take it back..." Miyu said to haji. Kai had never mentioned deva before. Whenever the girls broght their mother up kai changed the sbject. "You are lying!!" Miy yelled as she pointed the sword at haji's neck. "Take back that horrible lie yo jst said...or...or I will cut that pretty face of yors. Kai put his hand on miyus sholdet and said "it is not a lie..its all tre. Your mother is the reason why this wat started. She is resoimsible for the death og thosands."

Miy pulled away from her father and began to back away from the grop. "Everyone just leave me alone!" She dropped the sword then took off rnnimg

Haji closed his eyes then in a blunt yet informative tone he said to Miyu, "I regret to say, but your mother. Was a monster that fed off the blood of living humans and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of humans throughout the world. Including the uncle that you will never meet because she killed him. And also your grandfather who raised Saya since he found her." He said to her with his straight and unemotional face, "She was dispicable, but I can already tell that you and your sister will not end up like her. She was never treated like a daughter, but just a science experiment." He said to her.

Niklas had emotion to his face though he nodded to Kai, "I swear that Miyu will not be harmed on our journey to extinguish the source of these monsters. She will be returned safe and sound with me as her guardian. Haji still has to watch over Saya as she sleeps. As I'm sure that you know." He said to her then he slowly stood up from his crouched position when Miyu took the weapon, "When we get to training you on how to fight. I will explain more about that sword and how you will be able to slay the Chiropterines. You have to know."

The two men were interesting character in a nightmarish story that seemed never ending. Miyu looked at the sword then turned away from it. If she chose to take it it would mean the beginning of a neverending journey to hunt creatures that were neither dead nor alive. From what she had seen the creature looked like werewolf, but then at the same time it did not. It was a monster. "So......you need me..." It did not sound like She had a choice at all. If she did not join then the world would be taken over by all sorts of nasty little things that went bump ing the night. Miyu could still hear her sister crying. The difference between the twins was like night and day. When it came down to it they shared the same problems. "Kayura?" Miyu said softly as she turned her back to Niklas. Kayura poked her head out from behind her father as if she already knew what her sister was going to say. The timid sister ran from behind Kai and embraced her sister tightly. Her tears streamed down her cheeks and on to the ground. "Please do not go Miyu. You do not have to fight. Stay here...PLEASE stay....." Kayura sniffled. Miyu gently stroked her sister's hair, "Kayura I cannot bare the thought of anything like that happening to you again. I would simply die if one of those things hurt you. I want to be able to protect you and father. I want to become stronger. and...." Miyu could feel her eyes stinging, she tried with all her might to fight back the tears. She had to stay strong. "and....I want to know more." She had questions that needed to be answered. Kai only knew so much about this subject. Kayura nodded and slowly let go of her sister then went back to her father.

Kai looked at both of his daughters then to Haji. "If anything happens to Miyu I am going to kill you." The twins were as precious as gold to Kai. He loved them above all others. They were the only family he had left. First he lost his father, then he lost his brother. The twins were the closest thing to children he had ever had. Though they were not directly his blood was blood and it was thicker than water. He could not bare to lose anymore kin. "Miyu you know you do not have to go. You can stay here and live a normal life." Kai pleaded with her. Deep down he had always known that this day would come. He just wished he had a little more time to spend with the girls. At least he would still have Kayura, but Kayura would never be the same after this. Kayura now knew the truth, and from now on they would always be on the run from the Chiropteran. If anything ever happened to Miyu, Kayura woiuld have no other choice but to take up arms and fight. "Be careful Miyu." Kai knew there was no point in trying to beg Miyu to stop.

Miyu turned back to the red headed man and gently took the sword from him and held it up high. It was such a beautiful blade. The detail work on it was perfect, and its balance was off the charts. It was a weapon specifically made for killing. There were so many questions racing through her mind yet she could not think. It was difficult to accept any of this. It was all to much for her. She would have to take her time learning all of the information about her kind. "Blood??? I only need blood because......" It all made sense. She and her sister did not need all of those transfusions because they were sick. They needed it because it was their substance...they nutrience...their food. What she could not figure out was if she was just like the monster who attacked her, or if she was different. Was she a were or a vampire? Was she human or a monster? Would she eventually turn in to a Chiropteran or become crazed? She looked at Haji, "Did you know my mother?" She was still assuming Kai was her biological father. No matter what she was toldKai would always be her father. "I want to know more about my mother....."
