Niklas tried grabbing her straight from the start though he started running quickly creating a blue outline where he ran keeping up with her though he was still behind her. He grabbed the hilt of his longsword for use if someone was trying to release the siren's song to the world. He definately had some questions for the person trying to control Miyu and if Miyu was under it's control then her sister might end up in the same situation. When they reached where the source to the music was he decided to take the stealth approach in order to catch whoever was doing this and in the process slice them like sashimi along with whatever was playing the recording of Diva's song. He waited behind a broad tree with his longsword drawn to enable his speedy kills that he deminstrated earlier that night.

He was doing it again! This guy had a talent for pushing her buttones....not the good ones though. He had tested her temper over and over again. Niklas was like a machine that could not be stopped or be dealt with. "Hey...." She called out to him as he started walking without waiting for her. Miyu sprinted over to him. "Wait up!" She fonally caught up to him, "Hold your horses! I cannot move as fast as you can." She reached out and grabbed his wrist to slow him down a little. "Please....." Her eyes went wide as she listened to the song. It was as beautiful as it was haunting. How could something with such a beautiful voice be so evil? "My poor mother..." Miyu said as she closed her eyes and began to wonder off in the direction the song was coming from. Diva's recorded song was exactly like a sirens. It was pulling Miyu towards it. "I can hear her...can sense her..." It was a long and distant cry. "I am coming Diva." Miyu said. Her eyes turned a brilliant silver. They reflected in the night like an animal's. Miyu did not seem to notice Niklas looking at her like she was crazy or something. She then took off running at an unimaginable rate towards where the music was coming from.

Niklas was already at the bottom of the ladder and then he said to her, "Miyu, if you want to gain power to kill those beasts, you have two options. Either you drink blood or you use your own power. Though in either case you have to drink to survive." He said to her and then he turned around to start walking, "I I would appriciate it if you would avoid calling the one that saved your life a STUPID JERK like you stated." He said to her then he stopped to listen, "Do you hear that Miyu? The siren's song, someone has recorded Diva's song and is attempting to control and create those beasts like you've seen. It won't work on Chiropterines like us."

"He has some nerve ignoring me!!!" She thought to herself as her lips curled back to form a snarl. "I should push him over the edge for being SUCH A JERK!" The frustration continued to build. Miyu wanted him to answer her questions, but all he did was ignore them. Miyu looked down as he face her. "You are my Chivoliet right?" She asked him. Still looking down she asked, "You have to do what I say and answer my every question right?" Rage filled her eyes as she looked up at him. She hated being ignored, or treated like she was nothing less then a piece of shit. His calm demeanor just made everything worse. She wanted to slap that smug look right off his face. "Will I ever see my family again?" Her eyes had turned from their calm teal color to a turbulant silver. She wanted all of her questions answered. "Never EVER force me to drink that stuff ever again....." She turned her back to Niklas and began to walk away. She was beyond pissed at him.She did not expect him to chase after her, or apologize. He did not seem like that type of person. "I need to get away from him." Miyu thought to herself as she climbed down the fire escape ladder on the side of the building. "Stupid....jerk...." She huffed as she jumped from off of the ladder to the ground.

Niklas watched the city from their post ignoring her question because he didn't find a worth for those questions. He had turned into a slightly smaller version of Haji, "This is what you have to protect. This city which has the highest concentration of Chiropterines in the east half of the world. What you are fighting, are transformed humans that are suffering because of what the government had done to them. You are all together a warrior, a protector, and an act of mercy." He said to Miyu as he turned his head to face her keeping his straight face, "And the reason why you blacked out was the blood of your Chivoliet entering your body. It awakens the warrior within your body and soul." He said to her keeping incredibly calm.

Miyu's eyes slowly opened. "wha..." She looked around. "where are we?" She asked Niklas. It was almost to difficult to speak. "What happened?" Her tone escalated a little. She was starting to panic. "Where is my father?" She looked around. Her eyes went wide, "Why are we on top of a building?!?" She wrapped her arms around Niklas's neck as she tightly held on to him. she was afraid of heights. "Don't let go!" She said to him. Miyu was afraid he was going to drop her. She felt him give her a gentle squeeze. It was like he was letting her know that he would never hurt her or anyhting happen to her. Miyu calmed down a little. she looked over the horizon in awe. she had never been to this part of town. All the bright lights looked like little diamonds flashing. "It's beautiful." She said to him in a soft voice.

Niklas nodded to Kai from his place then he started walking, he could hear everything Kai said to him. He walked along the roof top jumping from place to place to keep on the move against the Chiropterines so they couldn't keep a bead on his scent while they were on the move. Once at a safe distance from their initial position he stopped moving on the top of a building that was several kilometers from where they had both fought.

(Don't worry about it. I don't worry about much. Besides I'm kind of in a bind myself)

Kai hesitated to hand over his child to Niklas. “Kayura….you must not speak of this to anyone. Do you understand? If anyone asks about Miyu you tell them that she decided to go to America to live with family.” Kayura wiped her tears and nodded, “Yes father.” Kai looked at Niklas, “If anything happens to her I will come for you….I will make you understand the meaning of pain.” Kai returned his gun to its holster. “Come on Kayura. We need to get moving.” Niklas was not the only one who had a safe place to hide. Kai looked at the unconscious Miyu and sighed, “I am sorry for all of this Miyu. I tried my best to keep you out of this pointless war.” Kai then looked back at Niklas, “Tell her that her sister and I love her. And we will always be here for her.” From that point Kai and Kayura left Niklas alone to take Miyu to a safe place.

(sorry it’s so short I did not want to jump ahead in the story)

Niklas looked to Kai then he said to him, "I had only awoken her nature as a warrior by giving her my blood." He said to him and then he picked up Miya's unconscious body, "I will take her somewhere that the other CHiropterines will not be able to easily find her. This method was what Haji had done to Saya according to his own words." He said to Kai as he walked off, "She will be safe with me Kai. Trust me as her guardian." He finished vanishing from sight in a blue flash quickly reaching the roof tops and avoiding the streets to avoid attracting attention to themselves.

Haji had not gone far frm their first location which he walked behing Kai, "What Niklas said is true. He gave her a kiss of blood like I had done to Saya in order to awaken the warrior in her like Niklas had just done." He said to Kai as he looked to Kayura, "Your sister sacrificed her normal life in order to allow you to live a more normal life. You should be thankful that things have gone this way, because now Miyu is perfectly protected." He said to Kayura and then he bowed to Kai, "I must go to Saya. To accompany her sleep."

"Dear lord Miyu is fighting......" Kai looked back at Kayura as memories from his past flooded in to his mind. His memories were from from pleasent flashbacks. They were nightmares. His brother, and his father were both destroyed because of this pointless war. "Kayura come on!" Kai said as he reloaded his cur with the crystalized bullet. "But.....but...." Kayura said in a shaky voice. "I....I'm scared father! I do not want to go!" Kayura really did not have any oher choice. Kai was afraid that if he left Kayura behind she would get captured or killed. He reached back and grabbed on to her hand. "It's ok Kayura. Daddy's here. I will not let anything happen to you or your sister. Please be brave and believe in yourself. Your sister has sacrificed herself so you can go on living a normal life. And right now your sister needs us." Kayura eased up slightly and followed behind her father.

The taste of his blood taste like iron. She tried to turn her head away from him so she would not have to swallow it but the way he held her she had no choice but to drink it. As his blood entered her body it caused her to feel pain. It was like everything in her body was dying! In reality her body was not dying it was evolving. He had given her the nectar of life, it was the one thing she needed to awaken. How long would it last? Would it be permanent? More than likely it would only last a few minutes or even a few hours. Her silence was frightening as she glared at the remaining Chiropteran, "Shin ne (Die)" She said outloud. Using blind rage she pulled out her weapon once again. This time instead of running her thumb across it she ran her entire hand. "Do I smell fear?" She asked the dumb beasts. The smell of so much blood was briving them insane. "Come and get some." She did not wait for the Chiropteran to come to her so instead she went to them. It was a blood bath after that point. She took down one after the other. It was like a waltz, her moves were perfect. Finally it was down to the last one.

Kai and Kayura hid in the darkness and remained quiet as they watched Miyu. Miyu took down the very last Chiropteran with ease. Kayura screamed as the Chiropterans head flew right off of its body and rolled across the street. Kayura hid her face in her hands. "She is a monster!" Kayura said to Kai. Miyu sheathed her sword and looked at Niklas. The gleam that was in her eyes during the battle faded quickly as her body returned to normal. "Wha...." She looked around The entire world was spinning. Her body was o weak to go on and it gave out. She fell to her side and fainted. "Miyu!" Kai yelled as he ran over to her. Kai picked her up and cradled her. "Miyu....MIYU! Wake up!!" Kai looked at Niklas, "What have you done to her?!?"

Niklas appeared directly in fornt of the chiropterine then back handed the beast sending it flying in the direction of the hit. Then he looked at her and bit his lips with his sharp fangs before he went to her and then kissed her letting his blood enter her mouth to help her to be more aggressive by having her drink his blood. And since he wasn't a chivaliet from her sister his blood was perfectly safe for her to drink without the crystalization.

Haji then turned to Kai and said to Kai and Kayura, "For here on Niklas will be your protectors. I still have my loyalty to Saya. And no one else." He said to Kai and then began walking off with his cello case in hand, "I look forward to seeing how Miyu fares against the future chiropterines. Niklas is assisting her as we speak."

Miyu defeating the Chiropteran was a fluke! It was an accident! The Chiropteran actually ran in to the sword. It was all by luck that she killed the horrid beast. She was not ready to take one on all by herself. But it looked like Niklas was leaving it all up to her now. Her breathing became became short as she panicked, “I….I can’t do this!” She said out loud. The next Chiropteran could sense her fear. Fear was like like wine to Chiropterans they could not get enough of it. Fear is what attracted Chiropterans to humans the most. The Chiropteran charged Miyu then stopped right in front of her. It was toying with her like a cat would with a mouse. Miyu jumped back a few feet. Every time the Chiropteran would approach her she would jump back. It finally got to the point where she was cornered. She gave Nikolas a desperate look. She needed help but did not know how to ask.

Kayura kept her eyes shut tight as her father fended off the beasts. She could hear screeches and screams from the Chiropterans. It was like something out of a Hollywood horror film. “MAKE IT STOP!” She yelled. Soon the screeches stopped. Kai and Haji had killed every single one (except for the ones niklas and miyu are fighting). “It is alright Kayura…” Kai huffed as he put the gun away. “You can open your eyes.” Kayura opened her eyes then ran to her father. “Papa what is going on?! Where is sissy (Miyu) We have to find sissy she is in trouble! We have to save her!!!” Kai looked at Haji, “Your sister needs to do this on her own.” Kai said in a shaky voice. “She has to learn to fight. Please try to understand Kayura……” Kayura nodded. In order for Kayura to go on living a seminormal life Miyu had to fight.
