Kaila was still both nervous and utterly terrified, but a sort of curiosity seemed to have washed over her now. The King didn’t seem angry at all, he seems incredibly friendly. No wonder Coren spoke so highly of him when he actually talked about his home. He seemed like a great King, and it showed. His land was obviously prospering and none of the surrounding area seemed like there would be any sort of hostile civilian. It was... Actually a little strange. Kaila had never been surrounding by so much positive energy before. It was a little overwhelming actually. However, even though the King seemed like a really great guy and all, Kaila was nervous and a little scared as to why he was eyeing her so much. Was it really that strange or such a bad thing that she was here from the human world? Maybe he was just trying to decide what to do.

And then Coren finally began to speak. Kaila felt bad for him, his voice was strange.. He was nervous about the punishment that he may have to face for bringing her here. It wasn’t fair to do this to him, she felt so bad. The guilt finally started to really settle into the pit of her stomach as she listened to him explain to the King about who she was. She looked up at the King and then over to Coren as he stopped speaking, wondering if this conversation was going to continue or if the King was still trying to deliberate as to what he should do... With the both of them. Then his strong voice spoke out above the silence, informing Coren that he should punish Coren for involving her, an innocent human. However.. He said should.. And but... Did that mean that he actually wasn’t going to punish Coren for this?

Kaila didn’t even have time to prepare herself for what happened next. The King arose from his throne and started approaching her. Her deep chocolate orbs widened and she could feel all of the warmth and color drain from her already pale face. Her heart was beating so fast that she thought it was going to actually pop out of her chest. She was even more nervous that the guards quickly followed after the King, like they thought she was some sort of threat to him. However, one couldn’t be too careful, even Kaila knew and understood this.

Slowly and carefully, Kaila arose from her kneeling position to stand in front of the King when he instructed her to rise. Curious eyes blinked as she looked into the face of the King of Atylia. She had never seen a royal person before, not even a celebrity. It was.. Mesmerizing. It was an exhilarating experience to know that she was actually in the presence of someone important. When the King asked what her name was, she gulped once and then let out the breath she was holding before taking another one.
“My name is Kaila, Your Highness.”

--

Israyra and its people seemed to be very very strange to Myria. This Qorvus character looked like he didn’t even know what a simple hug was, like that sort of thing was never done around here and it was almost like it was a terrifying thing to be affectionate or something like that. She didn’t like it here, not one bit. It wasn’t like Atylia, she missed home. At least send her back to that god forsaken human world! She would have rathered it there then in this weird place. It was too dismal, too depressing to be here. All Myria felt like doing is crying, throwing stuff and hitting this stupid Raven who took her from everything and messed up her perfect life!

Suddenly the princess was caught before her knee’s had the time to touch the ground. She felt strong hands grab her, to stable her and to prevent her from totally falling onto the ground. Wet and tearful eyes looked up at Qorvus in slight surprise before she felt herself being lifted off of the ground completely and into his strong, but gentle arms... Wait. No. She hated him, nothing about him was gentle or kind or whatever! He placed her gently on the bed though and then once again quickly moved away from her and then turned his back to her. What was his problem?

Myria’s lips turned into a spoiled pout as she stopped crying. She didn’t want to cry anymore, but she certainly wasn’t happy and she was going to make sure that she didn’t look happy either. “I want to go home. I hate it here.”She mumbled, narrowing her eyes slightly and glancing over at the Raven. She wasn’t going to stop stating the fact that that she wasn’t happy, even though Qorvus probably wouldn’t care and wouldn’t do anything about it. “So, what are you supposed to do? Just... Stay here and watch me day and night? That seems like a pretty stupid job to me. You sure got the short end of the stick on this one.”She told him, crossing her arms.

((I think that’s a great idea!... If you want to continue this rp ^^’ I hope so! I know I was gone for a long time and I have a habit of doing that but I hope you can forgive me... Again! D: I love you Alice <3 ))

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Sun Apr 26, 2009 2:49 am

King Victor continued to eye the newcomer. She was definitely a royalty. She was similar to Myria, in a number of ways. But, it didn't seem like she knew about it. Why was she in the human world? No, wait. He had heard about it before, 17 years ago, when Israyra fell into the hands of the animals, the King of Israyra used his last breath to save his daughter, by sending her into the human world, hoping she would at least be able to grow up there happily, instead of dying at that time. If so, then... Should this girl in front of him be the real heir to Israyra? King Victor thought it was amusing. It must be fate that was pulling the strings. Logically, once the princess was sent to the human world without knowledge of her own identity, there was no way she could return back to her place, the throne she was meant to sit on. But, in the end, she was brought back to her world, and by a knight of the other kingdom. Fate's a weird thing, sometimes.

Coren took one quick glance at Cleshire, wondering if she would do anything about Kaila. But no, she did not make a move at all. After some time, Coren began to speak, without confidence that he'll be able to survive this without punishment. "Your Highness, she is a human from the human realm. She had nothing to do with anything, neither did she have anything to do with Princess Myria's abduction. But I brought her back on my own accord, Your Highness." He said, shutting his eyes, wondering what would he hear next. But, the King said nothing. He kept his eyes on Kaila, and after some time, he began to speak. "I should punish you for involving an innocent human from the human realm in this, but..." The King stopped, standing up and approaching Kaila.

The other guards grew aware of this, and a couple of them walked behind the King, just in case if there were any dangers about. Since Atylia was a strong country, assassins and spies were often hired by other kingdoms to ambush on the King. When the King was finally in front of Kaila, he stopped, looking down at her. "You may rise, dear child." He said, with a gentle smile. Cleshire's eyes followed the King. She would think that the King will try to send the innocent girl back to the human realm, but this was weird. At that moment, she thought that King might consider to let Kaila stay in this world. Coren, too, followed Cleshire's gaze and turned back to look at Kaila and the King. When Kaila had rose up, the King released a breath. "What's your name, child?" He asked, soft and gentle.

---

Qorvus frowned when he heard what she told him. Just a hug? Well, it's not just a hug. Qorvus had never received a hug from anyone before. And he doubted that hugs were casual in this kingdom either. But, the princess spoke as if it was just a normal thing. Do people usually hug someone else? What was life even like outside of Israyra? Qorvus never actually knew about it. He was always alone, with no one to care about him. There were times when he wanted to care for someone, but everytime his care would only backfired. It was until a point that Qorvus tried not to care for anyone, at all. But, why did he even care about the princess crying? It was only then did he noticed the wet tears on his shirt. It was like he spilled some water on his shirt. He didn't like the feeling at all, but when he turned up to the princess, she said she was lonely.

The princess...lonely? How can that even be? A princess was always surrounded by people who love her, and people she love. A princess was never hated by anyone, always loved and respected. She must have had everything Qorvus hoped for in life, and yet now she told him she's lonely?! He grew to be unhappy at that point, but before he even knew it, the princess began to fall onto her knees. Acted by instinct, Qorvus quickly bent down to grab the princess, before she completely collapsed on the ground. She seemed weak, very weak. She must be tired from all the things that had happened today. If she were to get ill or anything, King Duran will definitely blame it all on her personal bodyguard. Qorvus carried her up from the ground, and it was then did he notice how light she was. He brought her to the bed that was beautifully prepared for her, and set her on the bed, gently. But then, he began to feel awkward again and quickly turned away, and took a few steps away from the bed. He didn't know why, but he just felt weird to be near her.

[ <3 Aww, thanks. xD By the way, I was thinking to have the two of them have those sort of love/hate relationship. And well, Myria can still have little affection for Coren, and that would definitely make Qorvus jealous. But it was because of that that Qorvus only love her silently. In the end, he would even help Myria escape and hand her over to Coren. And then, he'll go to King Duran and take all the blame. =D I just love to play tragic characters. x3 ]

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Fri Apr 24, 2009 9:10 am

Kaila's heart had to be pounding a mile a minute as she looked up at the gold doors infront of her. Were these doors made of real gold? It sure looked like it.. It shined like it.. How rich was this royal family exactly!? Kaila had never seen anything like this or even the look of this city in her own world. Maybe they were getting the bad end of things. While the human world or dimension suffered through poverty, depressions and recessions, she started to wonder if every country in this world was like this town. Beautiful and prosperous, some place that actually had money adn took care of the look of the city. Though, Kaila's thoughts were suddenly broken when the gold doors started to open and they were escorted into the throne room.

Her breath caught in her throat and Kaila culdn't help but gasp at the sight she saw as soon as she entered the throne room. Everything, literally everything was either made of gold or platinum. It almost hurt her eyes, everything was shining, clean and very very bright. The young girl blinked a few times and rubbed her eyes, just to make sure that she wasn't dreaming. When reddish-brown orbs once again opened and looked around, Kaila knew that this wasn't a dream at all. Her feet moved on their own and followed Coren as she was absorbing the sight of everything here. It was all so new... But being in a throne room.. The thought didn't seem so new. What was it about this place that was making her feel really weird? It seemed familiar but she knew she had never been here before. Familiar in a sense that she had seen something -like- this before. She knew that she hadn't though. Maybe it was in a dream...

Kaila had to snap herself out of her daze when she noticed that both Cleshire and Coren were on their knee's, bowing. The girl blushed in embaressment and then quickly got on her knee's as well and copied what Cleshire and Coren were doing. She was such an amatuer in the presence of anyone royal and she had no idea what she was doing. She hoped that the King would understand if that was rude or anything, cause she wasn't from here obviously. Kaila quickly closed her eyes tightly when she heard Cleshire's voice ring out of the silence, telling the King that she had brought back Coren and then stopped herself from mentioning Kaila yet.

Her eyes slowly opened and she glanced up at the King, blinking a few times. He didn't seem like he would be mean or cruel.. He actually looked quite content, like a peaceful man. The sight calmed her down a little until she saw his eyes drift towards her. When that happened, she quickly looked down at the ground and the King started speaking. His voice was loud and majestic, though it was kind. When Kaila looked back up at him, he was even smiling. He had asked Coren who she was. Was she supposed to iintroduce herself to the King or wait for Coren to do it? She was so embaressed and so clueless as to what she should do. Kaila looked over at Coren and waiting to see if he was going to respond first.

--

Myria tightened her arms around Qorvus as he just stood there. She could hear the flowers slip from the flesh of the Raven's hand and onto the floor with a soft crash. He had gone out to get her flower's to cheer her up... That was one of the nicest things anyone could have done for her right now, in this place. Even though he was the one who had taken her so harshly from her human family and from Coren, he still had the heart to try and cheer her up. He wasn't a complete heartless monster that she had previously thought after all. Myria didn't even care if he hugged her back, she just needed someone to cry to right now. The princess' face pressed a little more into Qorvus' shirt, dampening the fabric with her salty tears.

The hug didn't last very long though. Qorvus placed his hands on her shoulders and then pushed her back lightly, not harshly since he didn't seem to want to hurt her, and then backed off. The princess wiped her eyes a little with her hand before she looked over at the dark haired male standing infront of her. She blinked a few times though, slightly surprised at the sight. His face was... Slightly frightened and he looked so stiff and awkward. What? Had he not experienced a... Hug before? He was acting as if he didn't know what just happened. "I.... It was just a... A hug. I couldn't help myself."She told him, sniffling a little and bringing her hand up to her eyes again, to try and hide the tears that were still escaping from her eyes. "I'm so lonely."She muttered before dropping to her knee's. Myria felt as if she didn't have the strength to stand anymore. She couldn't pretend to be strong anymore. She was so weak..

((Yay! I'm glad you liked my idea : ) And i'm happy that you used it ^^ And... ZOMFG QORVUS!!! >w< You just keep making him so darn cute XD I love him so much XD <3 <3
And it's okay about length, I thought it was really long actually =D))

Cleshire stopped in front of the throne room, while the guards that were guarding the throne room received a hand signal from Cleshire, and pushed the wide golden door opened. Cleshire stepped into the throne room, followed by Coren and Kaila. As if the golden door wasn't enough, inside the throne room, everything was made of gold, some maybe even platinum! Everything inside was shining, all with their own designs and light. Coren had not been here since 2 years ago. Certainly, this place didn't change at all, but it still made him impress about its wonders. Cleshire had walked straight ahead, without looking anywhere else. And by the end of the room, was no one other than the King himself. The King of Atylia. King Victor.

Coren stopped looking about the throne room, and turned to focus on the person he's meeting. King Victor. How much had Coren owed him. It was because of Coren himself that King Victor's daughter was kidnapped, and taken away from his side. But still, King Victor had wanted to meet with him, and still hoping that Coren would help save his daughter. Even after so much, he would still trust Coren, his daughter's personal bodyguard, who had failed him so many times. Now that he came to think about it, Coren felt kind of guilty. He didn't bring Myria back, but he brought along Kaila as well, a human girl, and now they're meeting the King, without accomplishing his mission. He knew the King was a reasonable man, but even he shouldn't be able to tolerate with this...right?

Just as he asked himself that question, he was already standing right in front of the throne. Cleshire had already bowed and knelt on the floor at her King. Coren quickly did the same, knowing that Kaila would imitate his actions too. Never had he felt this nervous before, or rather, guilty. Waiting for the King's first words were hard moments, hardest right now. But before his great voice was heard, Cleshire's voice came echoing. "Your Majesty, I've brought back Coren, Princess Myria's bodyguard, from the human realm under your command." She said, and it sounded as if she still had something else to say, but she had to stop herself from continuing. Coren gulped once, knowing that now, it was the King's turn to speak. King Victor merely glanced at Coren, and smiled. Then, his eyes travelled to the stranger, a girl behind Coren. He knew immediately that she wasn't from around here. But at the sight of the girl, had reminded him of his own daughter. He was surprised. That girl, she's not ordinary human. And neither did she belong to the human realm. His smile expanded, and broke into a grin. "Well... I see you've brought a visitor along, Coren. It's been two years now, I hope you're still as strong as you used to be, according to rumors." The King smiled at him, and turned to Cleshire. "Thank you for a good job, Cleshire, as always." Then, he shifted his attention to the visitor, to Kaila, and pretended. "I wonder, who is that girl you've brought with you, Coren?"

---

Qorvus wanted so badly to kick himself in his butt, if he were allowed to. He felt so weak, pathetic, and he knew, he'll be insulted for the rest of his life, and perhaps even losing his last reputation forever. He wondered right now why did he choose to do such a stupid thing. Well, sure, taking the flowers would certainly cheer the princess up, but it undoubtedly lowered his reputation. It's not a good sight to see a knight plucking flowers, arranging them in his own hands. No way, no way would he ever do that again. That stupid, wretched...

And the princess came approaching, putting her arms around him, and...and...hugged him. Qorvus widened his eyes, and dropped the flowers to the ground. It was such a weird feeling. It was...something new to him. Sure, he had seen someone else hug some other people, but he never knew that being hugged was something like this. It was...different, much different from all the feelings he had felt since he was a baby. It made him warm, and it made him forget about every single thing that had happened in his life. Hugging...had such a nice feeling towards it. But before the hug went any longer, Qorvus snapped himself back to reality. He began to grow nervous at the sight of someone, especially the princess, a girl, so near to him. He pushed her back, not too harshly, and backed off. "What are you doing?" He asked, looking quite frightened, and awkward at the same time.

[ Awww, Qorvus. <3 And well, erm... I love the idea about the King knowing about it, so I went along with your plan~ And yep, we can find out about that anytime you want. x3 Sorreh for the shorter length, if compared to yours. xD I was kinda brain dead right now. And tired. @.@ ]

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Mon Apr 20, 2009 7:46 pm

Kaila looked around at her surroundings as they made their way to the castle. Wow... This would be her first time in a castle but somehow, she felt like that thought was wrong. It was a strange feeling but Kaila just brushed it off. Maybe she went on a school trip to a castle back home when she was a little kid and that's why she was feeling this way. It was highly possible, she was hit and sent into walls so many times that she wouldn't be surprised that her lack of memory from her childhood was due to head injuries. Though, Kaila would be lying if she said that she wasn't nervous at all to go along with her curiosity to the castle. She was scared as scared could be. She just got here and she might have to get sent back as a punishment or something worse. Kaila couldn't think of anything that could be worse then a fate of going back to her home back in the human world however. It was... Like a living hell. She would rather die then to get sent back to the parents that have abused her since she was a child. And she couldn't really give anyone an approximate date as to how long they have been abusing her since she can't remember a huge chunk of her childhood. They have probably done it since she was a little girl, far back from when she can remember.

Even though Kaila was nervous and scared, once they got into the city, she gasped with amazement. It was.. So Beautiful. Unlike anything she had ever seen in real life before. It was almost as if she had stepped into a fairytale storybook. Kaila wasn't even sre if she was able to close her eyes, or rather, she didn't want to close them. There was so much to look at here, so much detail in the building structures and.. Then she was suddenly stopped when Coren was stopped by Cleshire. Blinking, Kaila looked up at the castle and then back down at Cleshire, the nervousness that she was feeling before starting to sink back in and suddenly she felt cold. They were then lead inside of the castle and the young female gulped. She could feel her body tremble slightly as she walked, her legs felt weak and she also felt like she was going to be sick.

Coren's voice snapped Kaila out of thinking about her nervousness so much when he said that it was amazing. She stopped when he did, took a quick look around and then nodded quickly. "Y... Yeah. It's very pretty."She said, faking a smile. She really meant it, this place was very amazing and very beautiful but it was just.. Hard to really appreciate it when she was about to be faced with the presence of a King.. That might even punish her for being here. She took a deep breath, looking over to Cleshire when she stated that the King would see them both now and she nodded. She could do this. She put up with more than 13 years of abusive parents, she could handle whatever the King could throw at her.. Unless it was sending her back to her home. Slowly following Coren, she ascended the staircase and made her way to the throne room..

((Yeah, I like that idea of her being the Princess of Israyra. I dunno if we shoudl find out at the complete end of the rp but yeah, we'll see : ) I was also thinking that maybe the King fo Atylia knew about what happened with Kaila and her father sending her to the human world and knows when he see's Kaila that it was her but doesn't say anything. But that could be the reason why he doesn't just erase her memories and send her back home. Just a suggestion ^^' ))

--

Myria layed on her bed and cried during the whole time that Qorvus was gone. Everythig was just so hard for her right now. But a thought suddenly popped into her head that made her think for a little bit. She thought that her life was hard right now but what about Qorvus? She saw the way that the King and everyone here treated him... Had he been treated like that his whole entire life? Myria had been pampered and spoiled, being a princess, for her entire life so she really didn't know what the term hard meant. And then the thought of that girl popped into her head. She infuriated Myria for bieng with Coren but just the look of her. Frail, pale skinned, skinny, timid and she could tell that the girl had bruises just by the way she moved and walked and carried herself. That girl had been made fun of and beaten for what seems a little while. But she was so strong... How could that damn girl do it? Everyone put her down and took swings at her and yet there she was, standing tall and strong and just taking it.

What did that Kaila girl have that Myria didn't? Here she was, a kidnapped princess bawling her eyes out because she had been kidnapped and taken violently away from two homes in two years and there Kaila was, an unloved girl who had been beaten her whole life not crying but just taking anyhting that came her way. The princess's situation was bad but it wasn't that bad. How could that damn girl do it!? She started crying harder because she was now angry and depressed at the same time. Damn it all to hell! She just wanted to scream at the top of her lungs and wish that someone would hear her and save her right this instant. She hated not having someone around all the time! Usually they distracted her from the way that she felt but there was no one here! No one here that appreciated her or loved her or even liked her. She was just going to be used here!

When she heard the sound of the door open, Myria jumped up ina startled manner and looked ove rot see who it was. It was... Qorvus again. Her eyes widened though at what she saw. In his hand was a big bouquet of flowers... Flowers of all different kinds and colours. She blinked a few times, looking up at his face to see that his head was turned away form her, to not look at her. Her eyes wandered back down to the flowers again and she smiled just a little bit. Was.... Was he trying to cheer her up with these flowers? It wasn't even morning.. With that thought, the princess quickly got up off of her bed and ran over to Qorvus, her wrams wrapping around him tightly with her face burried in his chest. "Thank you."She murmured, crying into his shirt as her hands grasped the fabric on his back. Myria wasn't even sure why she was doing this. It was so out of character for her. She would only used to crying to Coren like this. But she just.... She just needed to hold someone right now.

((Sorry it took so long to reply, again XP But anywho, AWWWWWWW I LOVE QORVUS! He's so adorable <3 >w< *FANGIRLSQUEE*

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Sat Apr 11, 2009 7:53 am

Returning back to the castle never seemed so...distant before. Sure, this was the first time in two years since he had actually look at that castle, and was actually heading there. Two years didn't seem too far away, now that he thought about it. It seemed like it was just yesterday that he was heading towards the castle...because he had lost the princess in the human world. It was a mistake. From the beginning, everything was a mistake. He should never had been assigned to protect the princess, never. Because of him, the princess was now gone, in the hands of the enemy kingdom. Because of him, the princess was in danger, ever since two years ago, and he couldn't be there to protect her. He snapped out of his thoughts, with only Cleshire in front of him, and Kaila beside him. Yes, Kaila. No wonder he felt different. Walking back to the castle had never been this hard, either. He didn't know what would happen when the King saw Kaila here, from the human realm. He never actually seen some human from the human realm stepped foot in this place. Kaila was the first, and it did scare him a little to imagine the consequences.

It seemed like forever for Coren, but to Cleshire, it took only a second. They were entering the city now, and in the heart of the city, was the castle, standing tall and firm. Nothing in the city can compare to its beauty and elegance. Even until now, Coren was still amazed at how wonderful the castle can be. For a moment there, he had forgotten everything about his problems, only the castle and the King in his mind. Cleshire stopped her footsteps all of a sudden, causing the daydreaming Coren to come to a halt too. They were about to enter the castle now. And that had made Coren's heart beat even faster. He's back to Atylia, again. And this time, not only he failed to bring Princess Myria back, he brought along another stranger.

Walking into the hall of the castle, everything just seemed to shine in front of Coren's eyes. Even though the beautiful hall had once again amazed him, it made him feel like home. He stopped and turned back to Kaila, finally recalling about her presence. "Amazing, huh?" He said, proud because he felt it was like he was introducing his home to her. Cleshire walked ahead to pass orders to some of the guards there, and they left. She turned back to Coren and Kaila, and approached them, with a stern look. She no longer seemed anxious anymore, or rather, she looked as if she didn't want to care anything anymore. "The King will meet you," -and she looked at Kaila next- "both of you right now in the throne room." Cleshire said, and walked up the grand staircase that was right in front of them, without waiting for Coren and Kaila. Coren took in a deep breath, and walked up the stairs behind Cleshire.

---

Qorvus leaned against the door, releasing a deep breath. It was as if he had just fought and escaped from a monster or something. The feeling was terrible. Something had stirred up deep within his memories, and it was something he did not ever want to recall. He thought he needed some rest, but the guards that were standing outside Princess Myria's room were blocking his path, with their weapons. "The King ordered you to protect the princess. And that means at all times." One of the guards said, and smirked, beneath his armor. But even though it was concealed, Qorvus knew for a fact that the guards were teasing him in some way. But they were right. The King wouldn't give him this much freedom to walk around. Everyone in his kingdom wanted to see him suffer, no matter how well he did to impress them. It was useless, nothing would help himself to be acknowledged by anyone...not even...his mother... At that thought, his old piece of memory finally brightened up. He remembered now, the woman crying, it was his mother. Yes... Because of him, his mother had to suffer from humiliation. His father had left her mother after raping her. And his birth had brought further embarrassment to his mother. His mother had suffered so much... And it was all because he was here. He clenched his fist as he thought of how useless his existence was, of how futile his actions were, ever since the beginning. He had no life to begin with, he should just...die...

And he heard it again. The crying voice. But this time, he knew, it wasn't his mother's. It was...the princess's. She was crying... But why? Well, wasn't it obvious? She was crying because she was abducted, that's why! And that shouldn't even concern him. Qorvus wasted two years to get this girl, and now she even proved useless to him. It made him angry, but somehow...hearing her cries made him feel somewhat sad too. He wanted to help her stop her crying, for no reasons. He just felt like doing so... ever since he was small... he wanted to stop his mother from crying again. He knew he was pathetic, but he did it anyway. He left the castle, and came back after a short while, this time, with a bunch of flowers in his hands. The princess had said she wanted flowers to be brought to her room every morning, but maybe, they might cheer her up right now. And since he had no knowledge at all about flowers, he had to pick every single random flower he saw outside of the castle. Without knocking, he just opened the door and entered.

At the sight of the princess, Qorvus turned away, but extended his hand, the one with the bunch of flowers. "There. You said you wanted flowers, so here they are." He didn't want to look at her. It made him feel pathetic, but at least, if her crying stopped, it would definitely make him feel better.

[ Lol. Qorvus ish soooo cute~ x3 Oh yaaaah! I forgot to answer that one. =X I had been daydreaming some time ago, and I thought, wouldn't it be great if Kaila was supposed to be the princess of Israyra before the animals attacked her father and took over his throne? =D Her father wanted to save Kaila, so he sent her to the human world, hoping she could continue to live there. Just a random idea. If so, maybe by the end of the rp? Cause by then, Kaila and Coren would reach Israyra to save Myria, and then the truth will be revealed when they head on face to face with King...whatshisnameagain? Lol. <3 If not, you can choose, really, whenever you want Kaila to remember. xD Just a suggestion. ]

Kaila looked at Cleshire as she obviously tried to let herself adjust to what Kaila had just said. Could she realise just how important this was to her now? How important Coren was to her now that he had somewhat changed her life? she hoped that Cleshire would finally understand how badly she wanted to be here and how desperate she was to start a new life. Though, Kaila also hoped that neither her nor Coren would get into too much trouble. There were obviously some sort of rule against letting humans from the human world come into their world or country but Kaila was unsure of what the penalty or punishment would be if someone were to break those rules. Hopefully it wouldn't be anything too rash or harsh or else Kaila would feel.. Really bad. But it made her happy that Coren agreed to let her come back here with him, even though he knew that he would be breaking the rules by doing so.

But Kaila didn't have time to say anymore, or to hear Cleshire's answer or reaction to what she had just said. Suddenly, there were gaurds here, around them. Subconciously, Kaila moved a little closer to Coren as she stared, bewildered, at the gaurds. They weren't attacking them so they either knew Coren and Cleshire or they were a part of the country. She figured that it was probably both, since she knew that Coren worked in the castle and she figured that Cleshire did too. Then one of the gaurds spoke up, saying that the king had instructed on Coren's safe return. Even though Coren had failed to bring the princess back, the king still wanted him back safely. He must have been pretty respected, well at least, that's what Kaila had thought.

And then Cleshire told the gaurds to tell the King about their.. Unexpected guest. Kaila tensed up a little as she looked at Cleshire, wondering if it was truly that much of a deal that she was here now. Would her memories be erased and she would then get sent back to her world? She hoped not... She really, truly hoped that wouldn't happen. Kaila just stood there, thinking about what could happen as Cleshire and Coren had their little conversation before she heard Coren tell her that they should start going. She blinked a few times and then forced a small smile herself with a small nod." You're right. Let's go."She said softly as she started following. That smile that Coren gave her... It was grim. Either that, or he was just as nervous about what would happen as she was.

--

Myria's eyes widened a little and she blin ked a few times at Qorvus' blatant response to her question. He just said that he had to go, walked towards her, opened the door even though she was leaning against it and then left, closing the door behind him. The princess, still leaning against the closed door, frowned a little to herself and pushed off of the door to turn around and face it. "You meanie. Rude person."She muttered to herself and stuck her tongue out at the door before she went to go sit on her new bed with a sigh. "How long will I be here?"She asked herself as she looked around. Though, Myria had to admit that her situation wasn't really all that bad. A 24/7 bodygaurd that was going to do.. Most of whatever she said within a reasonable boundary. She would have to watch what she says from now on though. Figuring out that Qorvus had a nasty temper was... A good point to learn sooner rather than later. Though, it was going to be hard for Myria to hold her tongue.

The princess was used to telling people and.. Requesting them to get things that she wanted. When she was in Atylia, she got whatever she wanted whenever she asked for it. She always had people to keep her company, things to entertain her, food that she preferred. It was the perfect lifestyle for her. And then she was thrusted into the human world to live with a couple who's daughter had died just 2 years before Myria had arrived. She lived... A very very different lifestyle then she did in the castle and it took a while for her to adjust. But it wasn't a bad life. She figured that she was like a new daughter for the couple that she lived with and it was... Nice. She felt loved there, somethign that she felt that she lacked in the castle. Sure, Myria's parents loved her but they were always busy running a country. In the human world, her parents would arrive home at 4:30 and 5:00pm every day from work and were off on weekend to spend time with her. It was... Nice.

Tears welled up in Myria's eyes as she thought about her two very different homes. She missed her castle life in Atylia, and she also missed her human life in the human world. Leaving that couple so abruptly without even a goodbye... It was probably like they had just lost another daughter. The tears started rolling down Myria's eyes as she thought about this. It must be... So hard for the couple, losing two daughters in the span of 4 years. The young princess laid back down on her bed, burrying her face in her pillow and just... Cried.

((Sorry, again, that ti took so long ^^' At least it didn't take more then a week though!.. I don't think @.@
Anyways, it's okay about the Qorvus thing. I still manage to find stuff to write about : )
And I guess you didn't see my question in the last post ^^'
You know how we said that we wanted Kaila to be another princess? Well, how and when do you think they should find that out?))

Coren couldn't answer Cleshire, he didn't know how to. He wanted to let her know about his thoughts as well, and he knew Cleshire would agree to them if she actually hear him out. But right now, he knew, Cleshire was just too shocked to hear him. Before he could start speaking, Kaila had spoken first, surprisingly both the cat and the tiger. The both of them turned to face her, Cleshire with a much more surprised look. "...what?" She had muttered, while her mind was still busy, trying to process all the words Kaila had said. Yell at her? That she was the one who wanted to come? That didn't matter! Anyone would want to come over to this dimension if they were to hear about it from someone else. Likewise, Cleshire used to want to go the human realm when she was younger, when she heard all the stories from the other human maids in the castle. But, the one at fault right now was the one who had granted her the wish to come here, despite knowing all the dangers, and that was Coren! But still, why did this girl even try to protect him? The only ones Cleshire knew would do this was herself, and maybe Princess Myria too. But why, a girl Coren had just met a couple of days ago, would do so much as to come with him and admitted all the blame on herself?

Before anyone among the trio can make another move, guards had arrived. The three had landed from the portal in the edge of the forest beside the kingdom, Atylia. And since their return, the King had sent guards over to take them back. But something's wrong... There weren't only two of them, but three. How could this be? Coren looked at the guards, recognizing most of them. Most of them were once animals too, with granted forms of humans. And some of them were about the same time as Coren when he was granted a human form, so he knew them. He smiled, and despite the armor, he knew those guards had given him a reply. "The King had instructed on Coren's safe return." One of the guard went forward and told Cleshire. She nodded her head, and turned to Coren, lastly at Kaila. "We'll return to the castle ourselves. But tell the King one thing, that we have an unexpected guest here... From the human realm." Cleshire said, and the guard hesitated for a while. Cleshire had to turn back to the guard, before the guard obeyed her instructions. While most of the animals were given jobs as castle guards and Coren was given a job as the Princess's personal bodyguard, Cleshire was given the duty to be the leader of the castle guards.

She sighed softly when the guards had left. She turned to take a glance at Coren, and began to walk towards the castle. "Well, we better get going now. We don't want the King waiting, right?" Cleshire said. Coren stood still, looking at Cleshire's reflection. "But, Cleshire. What about..." Before Coren could finish his question, Cleshire had stopped and turned her head back, halfway through. "The King can decide. I'm not one in position to decide a matter as big as that." She said, continuing to walk ahead. Coren turned away from her reflection, back to Kaila. "Well, lets go then." He said, forcing a faint smile.

---

He could see it. A silhouette of a woman could be seen, kneeling on the ground, with her hands covering her face. She seemed like she was crying, but Qorvus could hear nothing from her, or anything else. All he could see for that few seconds was a crying woman, who seemed so familiar even though it was only a shadow. And suddenly, the woman had stopped crying, it seemed. She turned up, and stood, looking straight at Qorvus. Qorvus's heart skipped a beat, this was all too familiar, but he couldn't remember them. And just then, a familiar voice began to echo about in the dark place in his mind. A woman's voice. "I hate you! I hate this place!" And then the image blurred.

He snapped out of his thoughts when he heard the door closed. He turned up to see no princess on the bed, instead, she was standing right beside the closed door, asking Qorvus what he just said. Wait, did he even say anything? Wait, what had happened? No, wait. What did he say to the princess? No, wait, wait. That woman in his mind, who was she? No, there were all too many questions in his mind at once. He had to rest. He must be tired, yeah, that must be it. "I have to go. Call me when you need me." He said, walking towards the door, and opening the door, even though the princess was practically trying to hold it shut. He left the room in a hurry, and vanished into the dark corridors.

[ Maybe we can have different timelines for Coren's part and Qorvus's part. If you understand what I mean. xD And yeah, I know what you mean about Qorvus. <3 But I just find it hard to write looooong stuffs about him. =\ ]

Kaila's reddish brown orbs looked at Coren as he turned back to her once more, his face in a soft expression. When he said let's go, Kaila's eyes and her whole face lit up with happiness and she nodded. Her hand grasped onto his as his hand took hers and then that was it. They both walked through the portal and it was something that she didn't really know what to expect from. She looked back at her world one last time before the portal closed and she smiled. Finally, she didn't have to put up with her parents any longer... Would they miss her? She doubted it. And she surely wouldn't miss anything that she just left behind. She finally felt somewhat peaceful, like her new future would be much better then the one that had previously been planned for her. Kaila was with Coren now... Nothing could make her regret this decision.

It was a strange feeling, going from one world or dimension to another. Kaila wasn't even sure how she felt, she couldn't describe it even if someone asked her to. It didn't take long to get back to Atylia, but as soon as Coren stepped through the other end of the portal, he stopped for a moment before pulling her through. Once her feet set foot on ground that she was unfamiliar with, Kaila opened her eyes and then looked around. It was unlike anything that she could have imagined. This world had a totally different feeling then her usual world, it was almost weird. She wasn't really sure what to make of it all. But then her eyes looked past Coren, to see the tiger girl from before. She definately wasn't going to be happy that she was here.

And Kaila was right. Cleshire, the tiger girl, walked right up between Coren and her and pulled their hands apart, seperating them. The look on her face was irritation or anger there she went again. Almost yelling at Coren about how he could bring her here and then something about rules. Kaila closed her eyes and then sighed, opening her eyes again to look at Cleshire. Kaila frowned and then looked over at Coren. He was going to get in trouble for bringing her here, wasn't he? ... She couldn't let that happen. "Look, I asked to come here. If Coren is going to get blamed or in trouble for it, then that's not right because it was all my doing. Don't yell at him for it, yell at me."She said sternly.

--

Myria could tell that she had angered Qorvus again by yelling at him and hitting him square in the head with the pillow that she had thrown. His feet pounded loudly on the floor as he stomped over to her but then he suddenly stopped. What was he doing? Or... What was he going to do? The princess didn't know whether or not she should look up from the blankets of the bed to see. She was.... She was scared of him. Would he actually hurt her if she talked to him in a certain way? Myria knew that she had hit a nerve by the way she was speaking to him befoer, and her next comment had probably fueled more of the fire that was Qorvus' bad temper. But.... It didn't sound like he was doing anythign but just.. Standing there. What was he doing? That was weird...

Slowly, the princess looked up a little from the blankets on the bed that she had previously burried her head in to look at Qorvus and see what he was doing. He was, indeed, just standing there but he was staring blankly into space after she had yelled at him. His face seemed like it had a mix of emotions and then... It was faint but Myria could hear it just barely. He said sorry to her... He apologized. What was he apologizing for? If anyone should be apologizing, it should be her. But he... It was weird. It was like he was either being controlled or he just said it by instinct. Myria blinked a few times and then wiped the tears from her eyes before slowly and carefully getting off of the bed. Was he alright?

"Um.... Hello?"She asked, slowly waving her hand infront of his face. Myria frowned a little as she stood infront of him, looking up since he was taller then her. She was a fairly tall individual for being a girl but she wasn't that tall. She was only about 5'7 and Qorvus had to be at least a few inches taller then her. Before he could snap out of his little trance thing, Myria jogged over to the door and then closed it, since Qorvus had left it a little open when he stomped over to her in his little fit of rage. She stood by the door, her back leaning up against it as she looked at the Raven infront of her. "What did you just say?"

((Aww, really? D: I luffles Qorvus <3 Such a sad character but oh so cute : ) And that's okay that it's not that long. I'm sure it'll get longer.
And I was just wondering. When do they find out that Kaila is actually a princess too? ))

Coren expected that answer from her. And he did want to smile at that moment, thinking that he can continue to search for Princess Myria, with Kaila by his side.... No, wait. Now's not the time for that! He turned back to the portal, noticing the small gap between both worlds. He turned back to Kaila, with a softer face now. "Let's go then. Wouldn't want the portal to close up to have the both of us suffer here, right?" He said, smiling as he grabbed her hand, and brought her into the portal... Into the other dimension.

Cleshire was walking around in circles, glancing at the portal at intervals to see if Coren was ever going through it. She was worried. At first, she doubted Coren would ever let this chance of returning back to Atylia go, but right now... Right now, he might be capable of anything right now. What if he wasn't thinking right? What if he was being attached or something to the human realm? What if Coren actually stayed in the human realm forever, never ever returning back to Atylia?! What would happen to the princess?! To Atylia! To the whole world?! Cleshire couldn't help but to get much more panic when those questions rose to her mind. But actually, the only thing she worried the most was that...she might not be able to see Coren again.

She turned up to face the closing portal. She wanted to sob so hard now. She had this resentful gut feeling that Coren will never walk into the portal. And thinking about that just makes her sad. She couldn't bare to live on, with the thought of never being able to see him again. Just when she thought the portal was about to vanish any second now, she saw a shadow. Hope returned to her eyes, her urge to cry now held back, successfully. Cleshire kept her eyes locked on the portal, hoping that Coren would step foot into...

It's Coren! He did come back!

Cleshire could no longer stand still, she ran forward, extending her arms to hug him. She had a tear or two on her eyes, but she was grinning, so happily. "Coren! You came back!" And she hugged him the moment he stepped foot in the dimension. He was frightened at the sight of that, but nevertheless, he had expected that to happen. He used one of his hands to push a crying Cleshire away, while his other hand continued to grab a hold of Kaila's hand. The moment she stepped through the portal, the portal closed. When Coren pushed her away, Cleshire just let him do so. She turned up to him, after wiping off the tears on her face. "Geez... You don't have to cry just for that. Of course I'm coming back! No way I'll ever want to stuck in that world forever!" Coren said, looking down at Cleshire. Cleshire smiled, but only then did she see a familiar face...

...the human girl...stepped through the portal?!

At first, Cleshire had thought it was the girl herself who stepped into the portal without Coren noticing. But when she saw their hands together, she immediately walked over and separated both of their hands, this time, with an irritated look. "What are you even thinking of bringing her here?! Didn't you know about our rules?! How can you just bring a girl from the human realm over here?!"

---

Qorvus opened the door and had stepped halfway through out of the door, until the princess yelled again, this time, with her 'bratty' voice, or so Qorvus thought. His grip on the doorknob tightened. He was trying so hard to control his temper, and now the princess just had to stir up something again to unleash his other side. Before he could turn back to the princess to give her her next warning, a pillow came flying to his face, and hit him directly. He didn't move an inch, but the hit certainly did toss away all his angry vibes. But right now, he will not tolerate with her attitude, not right now.

As he stomped his way towards her bed, something she yelled reminded him of something of his past. He stopped halfway, staring blankly into the space. It was a woman. She used to shout the exact same words, but Qorvus couldn't quite remember who it was. As if being controlled, he muttered softly, but the princess might be able to hear him, despite her little drama act. "I'm sorry..."

[ Meh... In case you wanna know, it's his mother who yelled that to him. And he always said sorry to her whenever she said that, so unconsciously, he was saying that to Myria as well. =P By the way, I noticed my Qorvus part was never long. =O ]
