Kaila stayed silent after she was done speaking and just looked at Coren staring at her. At least he was listening.. He was finally listening to her and not cutting her off, saying something like it was impossible for her to go back to Atylia with him. That made her a little happier, to see that he was at least listening to the things she was saying. They were all true, and she knew that Coren knew that too. So why wouldn't she be able to go with him? Slowly, Kaila looked down to the ground and brought her arm up to her face to wipe off some of the tears that were escaping down her cheeks. He still wasn't saying anything... Maybe he was thinking more about it now? Hopefully that was more of a good sign then a bad sign. Brown orbs raised from the ground and then looked over towards the portal again. They were running out of time, and fast. If Coren didn't make a decision soon... Maybe he would leave without her so quickly that she wouldn't be able to follow.

But no. Kaila refused to think of that possibility. Coren had seen what it was like for her here, it was painful and surely the words that she had just poured out of her heart to him right now would make him consider more of the possibility of bringing her along with him. Her eyes returned to Coren as she waited anxiously, wondering what he was thinking about. And then finally it happened. Coren's eyes returned to Kaila's, a different look in them. Her eyes widened and she gasped at what she heard. He was asking if she really wanted to go to Atylia with him.

Without a second thought, Kaila nodded her head and took a step towards Coren. "Yes, yes. More then anything Coren. I want to go with you."She told him with a small smile. Yes. Did this mean that he was really going to take her with him? A feeling of happiness washed over her and she wiped off the remaining tears from her eyes. Finally, she could get out of this place.

--

As Qorvus turned back around to look at Myria, her eyes widened as he frowned. Maybe.... Talking to her captor like that wasn't such a good idea after all. She was definately having second thoughts about it now as he eyed her angrily. Her eyes darted down to his hands as she felt a strange sort of aura and she noticed that they were glowing. Crap. Myria backed up a little on her bed as he started to walk towards her slowly. He was menacing, and scary. She had never really had to protect herself from anyone befoer, she always had people to do it for her. Why was she here!? The princess' eyes widened with fear as he told her sternly that she -would not- speak to him that way. The look in his eyes... Was mostly the only thing she was afraid of. Yet, he didn't continue to do anything to her.

Myria closed her eyes tightly and then sighed in relief as Qorvus seemed to calm down adn then turn away from her once more. Those hideous eyes... She couldn't stand them! But when the raven told her that anyone from Atylia that stepped into this country would be killed, her eyes widened. And then to make her feel even worse, he had to mention that they would be killed merciless. And then it was time for Qorvus to leave. He headed towards the door, telling her that if she needed anything, just call out.

"Yes! I need something! I need you to go away and die you heartless monster!"She screamed at him before taking one of the pillows off of her bed and throwing it at Qorvus, aiming for the back of his head. She didn't even stop to see if it had hit him or not. Tears were rolling out of her eyes and she curled up on the bed and just.. Cried. "I hate you! I hate this place!"She screamed before burrying her head in the blankets of the bed.

((It's okay! Still enough for me to work fof of : ) And LoL, it's alright. Just thought that I would do it myself and I wanted to make sure that ti was alright.
And... Heh... Myria's a little drama queen. Hope you don't mind XD ))

Coren was confused at that point, so confused that he practically didn't have any thoughts going through his mind. He was staring blankly at Kaila, understanding every word she said. She had a point, no, she had her points, and he wanted to agree with her, deep down. But... But it was going against the rules. He couldn't disrupt Kaila's life like that, and yet... Deep down, he didn't see why he couldn't bring her along. He was agreeing with her, and he wanted to bring her there too, just so... Just so his memories spent here with her wouldn't be forgotten.

As he arranged his thoughts, an image of Cleshire reminded him about the closing portal. He tightened his fist, biting his lower lip as he began to come to his final decision. He knew he had the urge to bring Kaila there, he knew that she was suffering here as well, seeing as how her friends and family treated her. No. She has no friends here, nor families. She had no one here. No one left for her to cherish, no one...except the memories of herself and Coren.

At that, he finally looked up to Kaila once again, with a pair of much more different eyes. "Do you really want to go to Atylia with me, Kaila?"

---

He turned and was about to leave the room as soon as he passed the messages he was told to. He wasn't expecting anything from the princess, at least not yet. But, little did he know that, the princess of Atylia was never that easy, even to someone like him, even after being kidnapped. He turned back to her, frowning. Who is she to command him like that? She wasn't even a citizen in this kingdom, for God's sake! Seeing how the princess is treating him now only irritated him further. There was the King himself, the guards, and now even the princess he kidnapped?! Will no one ever show him respect?!

With that thought, his hands began to glow in a weird way. He was eying the princess, his eyes showing no mercy. He took a few steps closer to her, then stopped midway through. "You will not speak to me in that manner." He said, sternly but in a shaky voice as he tried to calm himself down. He shouldn't just let his temper go off like that, not now. The guards were still near this room, they would barge in anytime if they sensed something weird. Then, there would be no doubt that Qorvus will be sent to the dungeons.

Qorvus did take some time to calm his temper, but after he did, he turned away, but not intending to leave the room. "Very well. But anyone from Atylia who will step into this land shall be killed." At this, he turned to her. "With no mercy." As he finished his words, he headed for the door. "If you need anything, just call out." He said.

[ Gahhhhh~ Sorreh for the short post. D: Oh yeah, and sorry about forgetting to unzip the spell on Myria's mouth. ^^;; ]

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Tue Mar 31, 2009 8:40 am

Kaila looked towards Coren adn then stepped back a little bit. He was so... Passionate about telling her no. That there was absolutely no way in hell that she could go back with them. This statement hurt her the worst. Coren had seen what her parents did to her, how she was treated here on earth by everyone. She was hated and she didn't even know why. Kaila would have thought that Coren would have taken that into consideration before yeling at her and basically flat out telling her no, there was -no way- that she could go with them. Tears were forming in her eyes but Kaila refused to let them fall down her pale cheeks. And then when she was about to argue back to Coren, Cleshire stepped infront of her, blocking Coren from her sight. Kaila blinked a few times in surprise as she was asked multiple questions at one time by this tiger looking girl. She was obviously surprised and... Maybe even apalled that Kaila was even here, that she even knew anything about what was going on.

When Coren pushed Cleshire aside to keep on telling her no, saying that he had told her about the troubles he had to face there, Kaila's eyes narrowed. "You saw how people treat me here! How could you say that? Why-" But befoer she could continue as well, Cleshire got in Coren's face and started yelling at Coren. She was obviously angry that Coren had told her everything.. Well.. Maybe not everything but most things about what was going on in their world and about the princess. Kaila bit her lip as Cleshire stopped talking to Coren adn then turned to her again. But what she said made Kaila's eyes widen. She.... She was going to erase her memories about all of this? She shook her head slowly. There was no way that she wanted this. She wouldn't tell anyone! Just... These wereh er most precious memories. The only memories she had of someone actually being nice to her.

Though, Cleshire's attention was suddenly cut off from Kaila and was turned towards the portal. It was closing, and if she didn't hurry up and do something, both Coren and Cleshire would be stuck here with Kaila. Her eyes looked towards the portal, to Cleshire, and then to Coren. And even though she thought that Coren's words at first were harsh, they were nothing compared to what Cleshire had just said. She was Coren's mess, and that was all that she was. The tears that she had been trying to hold back escaped from her eyes as she looked towards Coren. She didn't even bother looking at Cleshrie as she spoke to Coren, giving him a deadline to make up his mind, which was until the portal closed. And then she was gone, and it was the portal, Coren and Kaila left.

Kaila was hurt. Coren could probably see it in her eyes and in her face yet she tried to stand tall. She was trying to fight back the sobbing and the urge to just fall on her knee's and cry. "Coren, I don't care about what that girl said. You see how people treat me here! You see that I don't belong. How could you tell me no, how could you say that I can't go with you? I don't care if you leave me stranded somewhere in your world but still! Anywhere would be better then here. Please Coren, i'm begging you. Even if I have to get on my knee's and beg to you from the ground. Please, I want to go with you. You're the only person that's ever been nice to me. Only person who has shown interest and hasn't beat me up. I fear for my life here every day. If you leave and don't bring me with you, I don't know how much longer i'll be able to stand it. Please."She grabbed onto his arm gently, biting her lip. This was all really hard to say. She had never asked for anything in her whole entire life. But this was something that she really wanted. She really wanted to leave, she wanted to go with Coren.

--

Myria followed Qorvus sourly as they reached the top floor. Ugh, a prison door? She would never be able to escape from something like that and not to mention they put her in the highest room so she couldn't escape from any window either. It was almost like some sort of sick fairytale that she had read while she was in the human world. A kidnapped princess was locked away in the highest room in the tallest tower until her prince came to save her. But her prince... She didn't think he would come to save her even though she so desperately wanted him to.. Coren... Were those things that Qorvus said actually true? Myria was so confused right now. She even felt... A little sorry for Qorvus, god forbid. How could she feel anything for this monster that took her from her beloved Coren, away from her home so violently? But.. he wasn't treated properly here, that was for sure.

As she was brought into the room, Myria looked around and then nodded a little to herself. It wasn't bad, for a room in a country that wasn't as wealthy as her own. It was actually very nice. She didn't expect it to be anything like this, and it sure was decieving by the look of the door. As the gaurds left, leavign Qorvus and her alone, she turned to look at him and she felt the spell holding her voice wear off. (hope you don't mind >.<) She stood silently though, raising an eyebrow at Qorvus as he began to explain the rules to her. Basically, this room was her house. It seemed to have it's own bathroom and everything that she needed. Clothes, a shower, he would bring her food. Basically it was like getting waited on without having to leave her bedroom. Yet, she didn't like that. She always liked wandering off into the gardens at her own castle, picking flowers with Coren..

No! She didn't want to think about Coren right now. Thinking of his name only brought her sadness. But as she looked towards Qorvus.. He looked... Embaressed. If Myria was the girl she was before, she would have definately laughed at him at that very moment. He was but a mere servant, a lower being then her and he was treated like the dirt he really was by the king. Though, it almost pained her to see him like this. She knew that it was wrong to treat someone like the king had treated Qoruvs, after bringing the big "prize" back to his country even. He should have at least gotten a little respect.

Walking over to the bed, Myria sat down and then looked at Qorvus. "I get very lonely so i'll need company, even if it's with a monster like you. I also like flowers and wish for them to be brought to me every morning with breakfast. If i'm going to stay here and you're going to be my.. Um.. "Bodygaurd", I expect that it's your job to keep me content while I am here. Maybe your company won't be so bad after a while until soemone from Atylia comes to my rescue."She said with a small smirk. Yet.. Why the hell was she feeling bad for talking to him like that? She was a princess, he was a servant. It should be like this. Her time in the human realm had made her too soft, she figured.

((Gaaaahhh!! Again, i' sorry it took so incredibly long and I hope this is okay >.< I love your posts like always, Alice <3 ))

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Tue Mar 10, 2009 5:02 am

[ First of all, I'm apologizing 'cause Kaila's gonna be treated pretty harshly. 8D ]

Kaila did well in surprising Cleshire. The moment she began to speak after Cleshire noticed her, Cleshire could only stare at her, her mouth wide opened. Coren, on the other hand, was pretty much shocked to hear what she said. "What?! No! There's no way you can-" Before he could finish his shocking words, Cleshire took a step forward and totally blocked Coren away from Kaila. "Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Aren't you just a normal human or something? No, wait. Why do you even know about Atylia? No, wait. You just heard all the things we talked about?" Cleshire asked her, looking quite puzzled and troubled herself.

Coren frowned at her words, but ends up pushing Cleshire away while he focused his attention on Kaila. "How you can possibly go with me?! Haven't I told you about the troubles I had to face there? Besides, it's not a place people like you should even know!" He said, raising his voice a little at the end, while panting softly after he finished his words. But it was only then did he notice that he did sounded a little too harsh. And, before he could continue his words, Cleshire interfered their conversation again by pushing Coren to face herself. "Wait, wait, wait! You told a human about everything?! About Atylia? About the Princess?! About everything?!" Cleshire didn't sound too happy herself, in fact, she was mad. There was absolutely no way they could let anyone in the human realm know anything about their side of the dimension. Plus, Coren should have wiped off those memories from Kaila if he were to leave. He knew that, he remembered it, but... It was a little hard to do that, especially on Kaila.

He stood there, speechless. Cleshire, on the other hand, released her grip on his shoulders and turned to Kaila. "I see what's happening right now. If you can't clear those memories off her, Coren, I will. Take it as a favor from me." She said, turning away from him towards Kaila. She approached her slowly, looking quite apologetic herself. "I'm sorry..." Then, she tried recalling her name. "...Kaila. But, this was all never meant to happen in your life. And well, nice to even have the chance to-" Before, her words came to a full stop, she turned towards the portal she stepped through.

The portal's closing up soon.

The portal had totally stolen away Cleshire's attention. There was no time for this. She couldn't open another new portal herself, even with Coren with her. Without a royalty here with them, they can never return to Atylia once the portal closes. There was no more time about the girl right now. Their trip back to their home is way more important. With these problems all cleared up in her mind, she turned to Coren. "I don't know about you, Coren. I have to go back to Atylia because I still have something to do. And I suggest you made up your mind once and for all right now-" Coren had to interrupt her, he could find no better chance to. "Of course I'm going back! I still have to save Princess Myria from Qorvus!"

"And you're leaving your mess here?" Cleshire said, pointing at Kaila, not knowing it might hurt her. But she was right, Coren had made a complete mess over here. He had brought Kaila, a perfectly normal young human girl into all these, and never even had the chance to make her forget all of these. And now, she was standing in the center of both sides, feeling troubled and...hurt of all the things they said to her.

Before Coren made his choice, Cleshire turned and walked towards the portal. "Your deadline is until this portal closes. I'm going ahead." As she spoke her words, half of her body was already through the portal. But... She was looking back at Coren. In truth, she was afraid he might actually stay here forever, though she knew the chances are slim. But, he was always unpredictable. She took a short moment of hesitation before entering the portal.

Coren, however, was looking at Kaila, looking very troubled. "Kaila... I'm sorry, but... I...I can't bring you there. It's just like what Cleshire said. This was all...never meant to be..." As he spoke, the portal was shrinking every second now. Coren was aware of it, and he would never let his chance of returning home go, but... He had to say goodbye to her, at least to Kaila.

---

Qorvus reached to the top floor, and stopped right in front of a door. The door was no different from a prison door, but he knew well that the room beyond this door was like nothing he had ever seen. Israyra wasn't that wealthy if compared to countries like Atylia, but he was sure enough that this room will pass to be a luxury, even to the princess of Atylia. He unlocked the door, and opened it to reveal a room that had reached its expectations. There was nothing there that didn't spell luxury. Qorvus entered the room, while the guards brought the princess in. They left her there, and left the room, leaving only her and Qorvus. Qorvus was dumbfounded by the room at first sight, but turned his attention back at Myria.

"So this is going to be your room. Anyone who stays in this room never leaves, other than the bodyguard himself. I will bring your food to you every morning, afternoon and night. If there is anything you need, I'll be the one to do it for you, if outside this room. And..." He turned away from the princess, couldn't help but feeling shameful deep down. She must be laughing at him, for how the King treated him. He was the one who sounded big back when he just kidnapped the princess, and now, he was treated worse than a dirt by his King in front of the princess. He couldn't stand the humiliation, but he knew, the faster he told her about the rules here, the faster he can be out of her sight.

[ Sorry Qorvus's part is short, I don't really know how to make him react. D: And well, sorry for the harsh treatment towards Kaila. It was the only thing I can come up with, me and my dumb brain. 8D And yeah, no problems for the pictures. In fact, I gotta thank you for liking it. Makes me really proud. <3 By the way, if you have anything to share about, just anything, feel free to let me know, Rosette. =)

...and yes, it's fun rping with you. x3 ]

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Mon Mar 09, 2009 9:09 am

It was hard for Kaila to wrap her head around all of this. This was the second time that she had seen a portal from another dimension or realm or whatever it was open right infront of her. It was surreal, something she had only read in books and never thought existed. Though, she also didn't think that being's like Coren or that Raven fella existed either. There were so many secrets hidden from human's in this world. If everyone knew that these things actually existed.. What would they do? Though, Kaila felt slightly honored, a little special even to be the only regular human girl to know that these things existed. Yet, Coren apologized to her for.. What? Pulling her through all of these things? Showing her all of these other worldly things? She couldn't understand why he had apologized to her. But now wasn't exactly the time to be thinking of these things.

The woman who had stepped through the portal was.. Amazing. She was so beautiful, yet she was so strange. She had ears, like Coren but they were more rounded and striped, like her white hair striped with black. By looking at her, Kaila could figure out that she seemed to be some sort of white tiger being. Like Coren was a black cat, she was a white tiger. She frowned a little as she kept quiet, standing a little behind Coren. They didn't seemt o notice that she was there, so she would just let them talk and she would listen. Kaila looked over the white tiger girl a little more, examining her appearence. It didn't seem fair. She was beautiful, almost more beautiful then anyone that she had ever seen. Much prettier then Kaila. And by the way this girl was talking, her and Coren knew eachother.. Figured. Coren was surrounded by beautiful girls. This girl, the princess.. Kaila didn't really stand a chance.

As the girl from Atylia and Coren started talking more, Kaila smiled a little. They were fighting like brother and sister or best friends.. And that seemed like all that they were. Kaila felt.. A little relieved at this. But her train of thought was cut off when they suddenly started talking about the princess. Her.. Powers were so strong that it shook the whole world when she stepped through the portal? If she was so powerful then how come she didn't save herself? Maybe she didn't know how strong her power's actually were.. Though, all of this made Kaila's head spin. It was hard for her to wrap her brain about all that they were saying, she didn't understand almost any of it.

And then she was noticed. Kaila blinked a few times, startled that the girl, whose name seemed to be Cleshire, had finally noticed her. She looked to Coren when he turned to look at her again, obviously surprised that she was still there. He said her name quietly, but then she looked back at the white haired girl. "Oh.. I.. I'm sorry. My name is Kaila."She said with a slightly nervous laugh. "But i'm sorry to have listened in to your conversation... But.. You both are going back to Atylia, right?"She asked. This was her chance. Finally, maybe this was Kaila's way to escape. Taking a few steps forward, Kaila looked at Cleshire and then to Coren, and then back to Cleshire. "Please, can I go with you?"

--

Myria pouted miserably and looked away from the king. She didn't like the way that he looked at her, not at all. And then what she had predicted came true. A small smirk formed on her lips when she heard that Qorvus was only promoted to be her "bodygaurd". She knew this was what was going to happen to him. And no matter how much he protested, this was his best offer. And apparently, it was either be her bodygaurd, or go to jail. Wow, this king is harsh. But the smirk on her face slowly faded. Qorvus had brought her back here, and the king did want her captured, right? But he was treating him so harshly.. Myria looked over at the Raven adn started wondering why he got treated so sourly. Though, his protesting did save her from getting grabbed again, which was a good thing. Her eyes glared at the guards around her before she crossed her arms and waited for Qorvus and the King to stop talking.

She frowned miserably and her glaring eyes bore into Qorvus' back as she was forced to follow behind him. He was technically taking Coren's job now. Coren was supposed to be her bodyguard.. But he did a darn lousy job. She was almost kidnapped and all he could think to do was send her to the human world. And then two years later she was captured by the enemy. Sighing slightly, Myria followed behind Qorvus as he took her to her room. She would give him a piece of her mind as soon as he took this damn spell off of her.

((LoL, good way to kick the King outta there XD That's fine with me though : ) And I love Cleshire's picture. Tis fine with me if she's an important character ^^ Tee Hee. And I -love- the picture by the way. I'll change her description in my posts to make her have blonde hair. =D Suits her more, I think. Thanks Alice! ))

[ Decided to make the messenger a...kinda important char too, just in case. xD ]

The portal opened wider and wider, until a point where it was possible for a human to fit through. Then, the figure from the other side of the portal stepped through, entering the human realm with her left feet first. Coren took a step back, not aware that Kaila was watching from behind too. It all happened in such a short time, but if he was given time to think, he would know it was someone from his dimension, but...who?

Before he could get an answer himself, the figure stepped out of the portal. White. Pure white...hair... No, it wasn't all white. There were black stripes at intervals on the white hair. It was as if that had struck him. An image of a familiar person began to form in his mind. "It couldn't be..." He muttered softly, holding his breath, waiting for the light emitted by the portal to fade off a little. And when it did, in front of Coren stood a girl with white hair and black stripes, with...tiger ears. She was beautiful, and she looked up at the image in front of her, trying to get used to the human realm for a moment, and looked straight at Coren with a warm smile.

Coren stared at her for a moment, awestruck at first, but his expression changed immediately he saw her smile. He blinked his eyes for quite some time, and he smacked his face with his right hand, while shaking his head. "Oh God... Of all the people, why did the King sent you?" He said, lowering his hand to look at the girl in front of him again.

The girl's smile faded away slowly at first, until she revealed a face of annoyance. "What did you say?! I came all the way here from Atylia just to hear that from you, cat boy?!" The image of a beauty, smiling while emitting some sort of white aura around her broke apart to reveal an annoyed tiger girl trying to hit the cat in front of her.

[ Yes, I was intending for some comedy, but it's hard to tell, huh? xD You know, those sort of chibi moments we see in animes. xD Pity this story ain't an anime. =P ]

Coren grabbed both of her arms to stop her from hitting him. "Well, you don't have come, actually. You won't be much help, either." He said, not looking too happy either. But after some time, he came to recall about Princess Myria, and that had brought him back to the problem at hand. "Wait. Now's not the time for this. I have to go find Princess Myria, Cleshire. She was...abducted by Qorvus, back to Israyra." He told her, with slight panic in his tone. The girl, Cleshire hold her palm up, right in front of his face. "Yes, yes. We all knew that, Coren. In fact, the whole world knew that."

Cleshire could tell that Coren was even more surprised at this, and his reaction gave her satisfaction, although she pretty much hid them up. "As we all know, Princess Myria's powers are growing everyday. That's why, the moment Princess Myria stepped through the portal with Qorvus, the whole world shook along with her arriving aura." Cleshire stopped her explanation, trying to catch her breath. She even gave time for Coren to accept all of that in his mind. Surely he knew about the princess's powers, but... Was it even big enough to shake the whole world by just...stepping through the portal? He never knew...that her powers had grown that much...

"The King knew about his daughter's arrival. And he knew that...you, Coren, had failed your mission to save Princess Myria. But, His Majesty is never the kind of person who would kill his knight if he were to fail, especially when he's the princess's chosen personal bodyguard. He wants me to bring you back. His Majesty wants you, to continue your mission." Cleshire said to him the messages she was told to send. Her eyes were staring at Coren all this time. He was always her best friend, as the both of them served the King and Princess Myria. She had truly missed the times she spent arguing with him, especially during these two years when he was here in the human's realm. But she knew that Princess Myria was their priority now.

As Coren was still making his decision, Cleshire happened to look behind him, and it was then she noticed a girl, staring at them, looking very surprised, and perhaps shocked at the same time. Cleshire blinked for a moment, and looked at Coren. "Who is she?" She said, pointing at Kaila, while still blinking. Coren was interrupted, as he snapped out of his thoughts and turned behind...to see Kaila, standing there.

He had totally forgotten about her. And...she had heard everything they said. He had gotten her further involved in this...

"...Kaila..."

---

King Duran waited for the princess to speak, but she didn't. He knew that some sort of spell was casted to shut her up from saying anything stupid, but he didn't pay much attention to it. He smiled, looking at the princess. Then, after some time, he turned his back at her, and walked back to his throne. "Qorvus. Since you're the one who brought her back, you'll be her personal bodyguard for now. Guards, bring her to the room on the top floor. Qorvus, stay with her in the room, at all times, and serve her so our guest can feel like her home." As his orders were finished, he sat down on his throne, and the guards answered him in union. "Yes, My Lord."

Qorvus, however, stood up from kneeling, looking shocked. He did all that, risking his life, searching for the princess in the human realm, and all he got was a...bodyguard? He expected much more. He expected the King to at least raise his position into becoming the General or something... But... A bodyguard?! Of the prisoner?! What the hell is this?! "But..But My Lord! We have guards specially for this job!" He spoke out, and that had stopped the guards from attempting to grab the princess again.

King Duran looked at Qorvus, the same way people look at beggars. "Or do you prefer a job in prison?" He said no more, and Qorvus, knowing his position, stood back and bowed at the King, before leaving the throne room, with the guards holding the princess behind him. How can things turn out like that? How can King Duran treat him like that? He did so much for his country, and yet, this is what he gets?!

A bodyguard. The princess's bodyguard. Very well then. He will prove more to his King, and his country, that he is not a failure. He will show them his strength. And he will, one day, take over Israyra, for the better of the country, and to avenge his own broken dignity.

[ Bah! I was rushing to kick King Duran out of the rp. xD I didn't want to rp him much. =P Kinda lazy to. xD;; Hope you don't mind. And erm... I had Cleshire into the rp to make things a little more...light, if you get what I mean. xD And well... Hope...you like my post? ^^;; ]

[ Oh and... I found a picture that can be Myria's picture if you want... Although she had blonde hair instead of brown hair as you described before... If you wanna check it out... click here. xD ]

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Fri Mar 06, 2009 9:39 pm

Stumbling when she was pushed forward, Myria frowned and closed her eyes tightly. Whens he was forced to kneel, this was the first time that she tried to say anything. Except... Her eyes widened when she realised that no voice or sound would come out of her mouth. Frowning angrily, her hate filled eyes moved over towards Qorvus. That.... That monster. He probably put a spell on her to ban her from screaming or saying anything else while she was in the presence of the King. She had never had to kneel for someone before. This wasn't right. Myria was royalty too so why should she have to kneel infront and for someone else? It didn't seem right to her. Not at all. And the worst part was that she couldn't talk back to these people who were being so incredibly rude ot her. She also couldn't get away, even though she tried to struggle. A princess should never be treated this way, however. It was wrong, rude and downright disrespectful.... Even if she was a kidnapped princess, she was still a princess nontheless.

When Qorvus started his introduction, Myria rolled her eyes. It was like he had just caught some prized animal and caged it for his King. What was he trying to prove by doing this anyways? She could tell by the way the gaurds looked at him that he wasn't very well liked. Maybe he wanted to rpove his worth by capturing something that the King desired? Yeah, like that would work. Myria was here now, and she wouldn't be surprised if they threw Qorvus aside now that the King had what he wanted. When the Raven finished speaking and the King's eyes looked to her, Myria looked back up at him. Her eyes were red from crying, and glaring with hate at her current situation. After the King had looked at her for a few moments, he congratulated Qorvus before paying attention to her again. She blinked in surprised when the King proceeded to tell her to make herself at home. Make herself at home!? Her eyes narrowed at this and she quickly stood up and shuffled away from the gaurds when they were signalled to let her go. And then he told her that it was an honor to have her here. Myria rolled her eyes. Yeah right. They just wanted to use her for something. For what? She wasn't sure. But she could feel that's what they wanted her for. Her mouth stayed closed and she didn't say anything, she just crossed her arms. If Qorvus did put a spell on her to stop her from speaking, then she didn't want to make a fool of herself by trying to speak and not being able to.

--

Kaila didn't know what to say after she had proposed her idea's to him. She wanted to help him.. That's all she wanted. Please, just listen to me. She wanted to tell him that.. It seemed like he was paying attention but she wasn't very sure. But then Coren stood from his kneeling position on the ground. She just looked at him silently as he looked at her. There was nthing more that she could say to him. Maybe she should apologize? She didn't know. "Coren.. I.. I'm so-"She began but then she yelped softly when he smiled at her and then gave her a hug. He... Was hugging her. Something that she wasn't used to people giving her. She... Really liked hugs. Kaila quickly hugged him back, not knowing how long he was going to hold onto her for. Though, she couldn't lie.. She liked this very much. The feeling of his arms wrapped around her made her feel... Warm.

Though, that feeling quickly went away when she heard what Coren started to say to her while he was hugging her. Was this.... Was this a goodbye? Tears started welling up in her eyes as he continued to apologize but then thank her for the moments they shared. And then the one word that she didn't want to hear from him came from his mouth.. Goodbye. "Coren.. No."She cried as he let go of her and then quickly turned around and walked away from her without looking back. "Coren, wait!"She called to him before running after him when he made his way out of her backyard and towards the street. But then she stopped when she chased him around the house. Another portal... Another portal was opened. And another strange, unknown person to her stepped out of it, infront of Coren.

((Yay ^^ Well, I replied. A little later then I wanted to but I still did : ) Good idea, about the messenger thing ^^ ))

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Thu Mar 05, 2009 10:32 am

[ Lol. Right after a minute you posted, I decided to check out the site in case you're on. And well... OMG! You are! xD And you replied! =P Talk about coincidence? xD ]

The guards presented themselves to the King, followed by Qorvus while some other guards forced Princess Myria to walk ahead, and to kneel like the others did. Qorvus stood nearest to the King, and was displeased by one of the head guards, who went to kneel beside Qorvus, just in case he might do anything barbaric. [Irony much? xP] Qorvus noted his actions. If he were to be his usual self, he might lose his temper out of ego, but not today. Today, he's going to show everyone that he, Qorvus was capable of so much more, if compared to these weaklings around him. "My Lord, I, Qorvus of Israyra has returned from the humans' realm, with something My Lord should find very valuable of." He said with much exciteness, but tried hard to conceal it. Behind him was the princess, silently struggling, if he wasn't wrong. He had placed a spell on her, so she couldn't speak when unnecessary, but she wasn't supposed to know that until she actually try to speak. If he's going to impress the King, he might as well do it to convenience his King. Besides, a loud-mouthed princess with much magical power than anyone else in this world would definitely be a problem.

The King, slowly shifted his lazy sight, from his knights below, to the striking princess in the center of them. His eyes shone for a moment there, but it faded right after. "Very well done, Sir Qorvus." He spoke with a louder and clearer voice as he addressed the raven, but clearly, still with sarcasm. However, the raven didn't note that, and was deeply satisfied at his new address. The other guards knew well that the King wasn't at all impressed at him, but was nonetheless happy to have received the princess. They smirked, without revealing it to anyone, especially Qorvus. "Princess Myria... Please, make yourself at home." As he said this, the King signaled the guards to let go of the princess, to let her free. "Forgive my knights. They can be...harsh at times," commented the King on the forceful actions of the guards on the princess.

"However, it is truly an honor to have you here, Princess Myria."

---

Coren continued to kneel on the ground, still speechless, still a total blank in his mind. But, once Kaila approached him and struck through his messed up mind with her voice, he seemed to have waken up. He looked at her at first, then stood up. He didn't know why, but no matter what, no matter when, when Kaila spoke to him, it was as if she had the ability to retrieve his attention at once, and somehow...gave him strength to stand again. He heard her words, every single one. It had hurt him that he wasn't able to save the princess.

But right now, it seemed like it had hurt him more to look at Kaila.

Coren had never felt this guilty before, or regretted. Not only did he had Kaila experienced things a normal human shouldn't had, he had probably ruined her life. He should never had met her in the first place. He should never had try to even know her in the first place, no matter how much she wanted to. He should never had try to hang out with her during his days at her house. He should never had been here at all! But, why? Why did he repeat all those mistakes again and again? Why?

When Kaila proposed some ideas to him, and that she wanted to help him in any way, he felt even worse. No, Coren can never create a portal, at least not by his own. He needed someone with strong magical powers to help. It was the same with everyone else, except the royal family. The raven too, needed the princess to open the portal. And now, Coren, without the princess or anything else, could never create a portal on his own. But... But... Right now, that's not what's in his mind right now.

He looked at Kaila, and forced a smile as his tears began to dry up. He did not say a word, he did not make a move at all. Until...

He took one step forward and hugged her.

"I'm sorry, Kaila, to have involved you in all these things. I shouldn't have entered your life in the first place. I'm...sorry. But, Kaila, thank you for all the great moments you gave me. Thank you. And well, goodbye..."

As he finished passing her his last message, he released the hug and turned, not taking even one look back at her. He walked away from the backyard, trying to approach the streets ahead.

But, in front of him was a new portal.

[ I was thinking of the King of Atylia sending a messenger to Coren, knowing that his daughter in back in their dimension. So the person stepping through the new portal was the messenger. xD And definitely Coren will follow the messenger back, and Kaila would join him. =D Sorry for the...erm...okay-okay post. xD I was going to bed actually, but I told myself I must reply no matter what right now. xP And yeah, the King of Israyra, King Tithan is a cruel, etc King, but mostly a sly person? I dunno. 8D Since I'm not gonna play him that often, I'll just let him be. xD And well, sorry for the short post for the Qorvus part. >>;; And... And...! Thanks for liking this rp! =P ]

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Thu Mar 05, 2009 9:56 am

Taking a large gasp of breath when Qorvus finally released his hand that was covering her mouth, Myria looked over at Coren. When she heard what the Raven said... For Coren to say goodbye to her forever, her eyes widened. "You monster!!"She screamed at Qorvus at the top of her lungs. "Let me go!"She yelled as tears streamed down her face. "Coren!!" She managed to wriggle one of her arms free from Qorvus just in time to reach out for Coren. "Save me, Coren!"She screamed, crying out for him before she was dragged into the portal with the Raven. And then they were gone. Gone from the human world forever. Myria didn't even get a chance to thank or say goodbye to the kind couple that she had known as her mother and father for the past two years.. They had done so much for her and she didn't even get to give them any sort of thanks.. No goodbye's.. No nothing. And Coren... She would never see him again. What was this Raven going to do with her? The last thing she saw was Coren's surprised face and that girl Kaila running after the portal..

--

Kaila's eyes widened when she saw the portal. She had never even imagined in all of her life that she would ever see something like this.. It was.. Magical almost but very scary as well. When she saw that the Raven was about to leap into the portal, Kaila's heart jumped and without thinking, she reached out her hand and started running towards the portal, past Coren. But it was too late. She couldn't make it to the princess on time. The portal closed. Kaila froze where she was and let her hand drop back down to her side. She knew how important this was to Coren.. How important it was that he had to save the princess and the fact that he failed... She turned around adn looked at Coren. Frowning, Kaila closed her eyes when she saw Coren reach up to grab his face and scream out. Taking a few steps towards Coren, she suddenly stopped. He probably didn't want to have anything to do with Kaila now. He was crying though.. Maybe she should just take the chance..

--

The next thing that Myria knew, she was in a dark room. A very very dark room, no window's, no light, no anything. She tried struggling away from the Raven but his hold on ehr was too strong. Her eyes adjusted to the room a little more as Qorvus snapped his fingers, illuminating the room a little bit. Israyra.. She closed her eyes tightly, sobbing softly. Myria didn't want to be here at all. She just wanted to run... Run somewhere other then here with this.. This monster that took her away so brutally! Her and Qorvus were then taken to the throne room, or at least, that's what it appeared to be. There were so many gaurds around them.. It would be impossible to escape from this place. It was already impossible to free herself from this Raven's grasp. He was so strong..

--

Kaila slowly took a few more steps towards Coren and then stood infront of him. Her hand, shaking, slowly reached out and then was gently placed on Coren's shoulder. "I'm not going to tell you that it's alright... Because it's not. I don't.. Know what to say really." Her soft voice told Coren quietly befoer she bit her lip. What was she supposed to say to someone like Coren? He had just lost his whole mission of being in this world for two years.. "... Coren, you can't give up though."She told him after releasing her lip from her teeth. "Can't you make your own portal back to your world or whatever world that dark guy was from to go get the princess back?.. Um.. I.. I don't know. I don't know anythign about this sort of thing. Can I help you in any way Coren?"She asked him. Kaila didn't like seeing Coren like this. She wanted to help him so badly. Even if it cost her anything. Even if it hurt her.. All she wanted to do was to make Coren happy.

--

Myria's eyes were planted to the ground. She didn't want to look at any place like this. It disgusted her that she was even here in the first place. She refused to look up.. Except for when she was suddenly halted when Qorvus and the gaurds stopped walking. Her soft orbs looked up slowly from her feet to look up towards the King of Israyra. Her heart started thumping. What were they going to do now that she was here..?

((Eeeee! So excited : ) I love this roelplay so much <3 I missed you too Alice! *huggles* And I really missed roleplaying. I'm having so much fun already : ) Well, if Human's are slaves in Israyra, wouldn't the King be somewhat cruel, demanding and controlling? Kinda mean maybe? I dunno what you want my response to be to that but.. yeah ^^' There's some idea's on how to play him if you want to take them into consideration. But yeah! Let the fun continue! =D ))

PostSubject: Re: Princess, Where Are You? [Rosette]   Thu Mar 05, 2009 5:49 am

Coren was lost, a lost little kitten. He didn't know what to do at this point. Surely, saving the princess was all he should think about. But still, he couldn't yet accept the fact that the princess wasn't found by him, but that...that...raven. The very thought about it was unbelievable. For two years he had imagined himself as the one to save her, and it took him two years later to find out that he failed. The only reason he didn't try to attack, was that his mind was still a mess, and the fact that the princess might hate him for this made it worse. However, from behind him came a familiar voice he heard so much of these days... Kaila, she was protecting Coren, even though he rejected their relationship to the princess, even though he might have...hurt her. But, no, she's not important now. Yes, she was just someone who lent him a place to stay for the night. Yes, she was just someone who brought him into the house thinking he was a normal cat. Yes, she did know a lot about him. Yes, he did want to stay with her longer. Yes.. It was all his fault. He shouldn't have tried to stay any longer. He shouldn't even rest at her house at all. He shouldn't even have...met her.

But by then, Qorvus knew that the portal was already done. Smirking madly, he looked at Coren while releasing his hand that was covering the princess's delicate lips. "Say goodbye to your princess, Coren..." As Qorvus finished his words, the portal behind him opened, to reveal an opened space behind him with swirling dimensions. "...forever." Then Qorvus took a small leap backwards, bringing the princess with him, giving her the chance to call out for her supposedly knight in shining armor, if she even cared to.

...Then, the portal closed as soon as both of them were in it. The raven and the princess were no longer to be seen. Coren stood there, awestruck. His fists loosened itself. He fell onto his knees. His mind turned, from a mess to total blankness. He had failed. Not only that, he didn't even attempt to free the princess from the enemy's hands when he had the chance to. How could he...even face his master now? How could he even go back to his home now? How could he even...talk to the princess now? About everything?

You're the best, Coren!

Those words rang, resonating endlessly within his mind. Both of his opened palms slowly approached his stressful face, and grabbed it tightly. Then, he let out a loud yell. "Princess... Princess... Princess...Myria..." Tears began to dwell about his eyelids. He wanted so bad to kill himself right now. He did a huge mistake when the princess was abducted before back in Atylia, and now... He repeated his own mistakes by giving the princess to the enemy. Without the princess in his life, he couldn't imagine his life at all!

The princess...is gone.

---

A portal revealed itself inside a dark chamber, with no windows, not even any sources of light. Exiting the portal was two figures, one grabbing the other one by force. The larger figure smirked, and extended his right hand, while the left continued to grab the princess. He snapped his fingers, and a soft light began to illuminate the dark room. "Israyra." He muttered softly.

---

The castle guards brought Qorvus and the princess to the throne room. Qorvus couldn't resist the smirk on his face. Finally, he was able to prove himself to his so-called country. No one in this country believed him. No one ever thinks he could accomplish anything. But now, he did. He did it. Traveling all the way to the humans' realm was never his King's idea, but he decided to go there right after Coren opened the portal when the princess was abducted before. The King intended to let Coren save the princess back, so he could continue to abduct Princess Myria. But Qorvus knew that this was his chance. And now, he had proved it. Most of the guards who was leading him and were following behind, didn't seem too pleased. Qorvus was never respected in Israyra, even by the most useless beggar in the country. Why? Because he was born a dark creature, like the rest of his people, but possessing the power of light.

Their footsteps stopped, and the grand door to the throne room opened. In the other end of the room sat the King of Israyra, and the sight of how things were proceeding, could never been better, to Qorvus.

[ Yesh! The rp's comin' back! =D I really miss ya! <3 By the way, I was thinking, humans are slaves over in Israyra, it was the dark creatures like ravens, wolves who were governing over the country. But I seriously don't know what the King should be. 8D And, erm... Forgot what I wanna told ya, but oh well! xD Lets get the fun restart-ed again! x3 ]
