Victoria looked over to Lena. "Now, we don't kill humans when were hungry we simply get animals." "Yes, although, I'm not exactly, crazy about animals and teenagers blood is very good." Kairo said aloud...what was even worse he wasn't trying to scare them it was true. Lena started to wake up. "Kairo you jerk..." she whispered. Kairo looked down at her. Lena opened her eyes punching Kairo in the face. "Get away!" she shouted. Standing up she ran to Victoria. "Okay, kids, were here." Victoria announced waving her hand to a huge mansion. "This is where your parents live now." Lena looked shocked. She only lived in a house with not alot of furniture. "Oh, my...it's so big." she whispered.

As another kid joined Selene looked into her folder. There was something seriously wrong with the people who gathered around. All of the people were from very different cliques and some even had some friction between them. The couple that had called them, seemed odd to her, but so did everyone here. “What could they possibly want with me?” She asked herself. With people like Ion, she could guess they wanted to lock him up for some crime. Even Lilly looked like she could have kidnapped someone. However, if they were cops what would they need her for? She had a spotless record. Selene pondered her endless questions.

As she though of every possible reason for bringing her here, she heard Ion pick a fight with the scary looking guy. She just shook her head, he was stupid, and had the grades to speak for it. Celeste, said this might have been a scam, and Selene nodded. That was the best reason she had now.

Though she didn’t speak, she listened to the words everyone said and took each of them in. Then she saw blood run down Victoria’s arm and felt sick. “He bit her!” Her mind screamed. Selene had to bite her lip in order to keep from screaming. The next thing she heard was vampire. “Vampire? Are these people insane! There is no such thing as a vampire. Maybe in fiction, but it was called fiction for a reason.” She thought. At the words parents, she dropped her book and folder. “They’re dead.” She says barley above a whisper. Her body felt cold, and her knees felt weak. “They’re lying! They have to be.” She told herself over and over again in her head. No matter how much, she didn’t want to believe them, something in her new they were right. Selene grabbed her things, and slowly followed them, to where ever these strange vampires, were leading them.

Lilly watched the display unblinking, she felt her stomach flutter as if it was reilizing how empty it was. She wasnt surprized at what they where, she was surprized at how long it took to get to this point. "Kate is confused, she knows her parents are dead." Lilly had a bad habit of blurting out things she picked up, it was something that always freaked out people, students, teachers, her dozens of foster parents. Its kinda hard to be loved and welcome in a home when you blurt out the the foster father is fucking one of the many 13 year olds. She lowered her eyed to try to avoid picking up anything else. Last thig she wanted was to be pushed out of this group. Dispite the clash of cliches they seemed to have one commen flaw : being forsaken children.

Kate's eyes narrowed when the couple said that they were normal, weren't even human. She almost laughed in skepticism until she watched the man bite the womans arm and her blood was more molasses then blood, her honey orbs widened and she took a step back. The girl, Lena, seemed to come to the conclusion the quickest and even blurted it out. Vampires? Kate shook her head "they don't exist" she hissed softly but she couldn't deny what she was seeing before her. When the couple brought up the fact that they were the only orphans in the school she frowned "how do you-" she started but Lena interupted her with another revelation and it felt like someone had punched her in the stomach. Her parents were alive, well somewhat if what these people said were true. The news floored poor Lena and she even shook her head "no..." she said in a disbelieveing tone when they confirmed the fact. Despite the fact that she didn't believe a word of what they were saying she followed them when they started to leave, she had to know for a fact that her parents were dead.

Lena stared at Ion in disbelief. Kairo wanted to kill him. "Well kids, since your getting a little impatient, We'll continue." Victoria told them. "So, I am Victoria, and this is Kairo, or, if you'd rather be formal, Mr. and Mrs. Sweet." she announced. Kairo? Sweet? That was ironic Lena thought. "We know all of you, and so do your parent's." Kairo said angrily. The couple stayed silent for a moment, then continued. "We aren't...normal...like humans...do you understand?" she asked. Looking around the kids didn't seem to understand. Victoria smiled. She raised her arm in front of Kairo's face. He ran his fingertips up and down her arm slowely...finishing it with a bite. Her cold dead blood ran down her arm.

Lena froze almost as pale as the two mysterious adults. "You aren't humans...you vampires." Lena whispered. "Then, what the hell do our parent's have to do with you two?" she asked frightened and angry. "Look kid, don't you find it...odd, that you are the only kids in the whole school that are orphans?" Kairo asked. "Our parent's are with you?" Lena whispered. Victoria lowered her eyes then her eyes widened when she realized Lena was about to pass out. She snapped her finger. Kairo jumped behind Lena then picked her up. She felt dizzy. The touch of his hands...it was cold...dead cold...."Oh, my..." Lena whispered she passed out. So scared. Victoria lowered her arm. "You kids need to meet your parent's quickly." "Follow us, okay?" she asked.

"Okay dumbass, no way in hell that was nice." Ion told him. Ion bacame angry that Kairo was like that. "Damn I can take you on." he told Kairo he put both fists up ready to "beat him". But was only putting on a show.

Lilly smurked trying to hide it when Kairo told Lena about the degree of politeness.

"Lena, Lilly, Celeste, Selene, and Ion please wait." Victoria told the girls and boy. "We are still waiting for one more kid." She said quietly. Lena looked around noticing a goth, prep, nerd, troublemaker, and skateboarder was around her. "So can't you tell us what's going on...?" she asked. "Hey missy, you don't ask us anything until that last kid comes, got it?" Kairo told her. "This is as polite as I'm going to get about it." Polite? more like a damn jerk, Lena thought. "Yes sir, sorry sir." she said to Kairo then lowered her head pratically bowing.

Ion walked out his apartment door. Annoyed that school had to start early it didn't matter to him because he skipped half of his classes anyways, he didn't have parents to scold him. He skateborded to school nearly sidetracked by some sporty cars. He knew the girl in one of the cars. Kate he thought. She was popular. He sighed then continued to school. His first class was art he smiled when Lena came in. But she was scolded. "Ugh, how annoying..." he muttered. Skipping a few other classes, having lunch twice and walking around the school building, he noticed Kate cleaning the room. Then Sasha joking with her. He got annoyed watching a bunch of preps. He went to his locker noticing it started to rain. "Oh, dammit!" he shouted. He then grabbed his skateboard and left the building noticing Lena talking to a couple he froze. He then noticed. A goth girl, the prep Kate, a total nerd, and a troublemaker. "This can't be right, "Clash of the cliques"." he told him self. He left to the crowd. "Hello ladies, and thing." he said. He had been addressing Kairo as the "thing". He picked up the skateboard and looked over at Lena. Then back at Victoria. "Why is everyone here?"
