| -This is a Call, This is a call out-
He led them out through the house and then onto her driveway. All of them grumbling something or another, probably about him. Or Ellen, it could've been anything really. Darren didn't care, he was just glad he didn't have to harm anyone. Atleast not yet. He smirked at his own thoughts, which luckily didn't really form to connect to Ellen's. Most of them turned, trying to ask if they could go back in. Darren didn't say anything, simply showed them his empty hand. Implying what he could fill it with. They knew, and understood him. Jason, didn't even bother looking back and asking. He walked to his car, and before getting in he gave Darren a hate look. Which only served to amuse him, rather then offend. He felt the eyes of many, through the glass. Only causing more humiliation for the men leaving. Darren sighed before returning to the house, standing just inside the door. His gaze didn't waver from Ellen, watching her deal with the other problem. Sure, he could've stepped in. Yet, he knew she could handle her own aswell. Not to mention the swarm he was under, every sideways glance was a female. Across the room was just the eyes of the males, envious, pissed off. 'Have 'em boys, I'm here for only one girl.' Darren thought, looking over at Ellen.
Hearing, and seeing everything she had, Darren sighed aswell. He didn't understand how, or rather why that girl and boy were even invited. Though he was certain it wasn't of Ellen's choice. Watching the scene, from his own perspective, Darren's eyes shot towards Catherine. She would probably feel them, consider they were filled with the hidden hate Ellen harbored for her. Darren watched the girl leave, along with a few of her associates. He returned to normal, feeling Ellen relax. His gaze shifted about, but he still had girls all about him. Any boys fantasy. When your created perfect, by a girls standard, your bound to get them. He sighed at it, smirking a little. 'All your fault.' He thought, looking over at Ellen. He decided to play along for a bit, if only to know the girl's intentions. Flirting wouldn't hurt. Darren's face went blank, as they talked. Figured. All there for the wrong reasons. That and all they spoke about was gossip, stuff he didn't know and didn't need to know. _________________ |

| -Those VOICES in your head will only get worse until they finally come ALIVE-Ellen swept up the glass with ease not worrying about the water yet. She soon enough took the glass and through it into the garbge can beore she quickly ran out once more cleaning up the water spill and then disposing of the rags. Next on her list was to get rid of Jason and his buddies of couse as she made her way out of the kitchen it didn't tak her long to see themexiting er house with Darren cose behind them. She blinked a few times when she heard Darren's voice before a smile quickly formed on her lips. 'Thank you Darren' she thought happily while outhing the words toward him. She really hadn't wanted to dea with them, they would have thrown a fit, wouldn't have listened to her and worst case they would have hit her. Nothing she wouldn't be able to handle, but she didn't exactly want to get hit today. "Now to find Catherine..." Ellen said slowly of course looking toward Ava with pleading eyes who only gave a small sigh and pointed in her direction. She was witha small group of girls who were starring at Darren of course. They wern't exactly stupid Jason and his friends wouldn't have left so easily, so of course they wondered what Darren ha pulled off to et hem to leave without any trouble. Ellen slowly moved over toward Catherine. "Hey Catherine I tihnk you hould leave as well" Ellen said slowly before giving a small sigh. Catherine only glarred at Ellen a frown on her lips. "Well you got over Jason real quick. Quickest recovery i've ever seen. Jason told me you never let him sleep with you....well I can defintly see why and you just strut around so innocent as well. Either way i'm glad you invited this one to your party, just another one I can steal" she said slowly watching as Ellen gave a small sigh. Her birthday was definatly turning out tobe quite crappy, if it wasn't for the fact that Darren was now alive shewould say this was the worst birthday she ever had, but having Darren around now definatly made it the best. "I really don't care wha you haveto say Catherine, just please leave and call your friends and tell them not to cme over again either" Ellen said head down and hand raied pointing toward the exit. Catherine of course just simply glarred beforepushing Ellen to the floor and exited the house with her friends. Ellen kind of jus sat their on the foor for a moment or two before she got up slowly. "Only a few more hours" she said slowly before rubbing at her temples. Otherthan the small little mishaps everything else seemd tobe goin fine. Ava now seemed to have picked up some guy, Brad last Ellen checked and the others were still dancing around or eating her house down. 'God they've move to diging throughm fridge. Got to go shopping later' she thought for moment before she took a seat on her couch. It took her a minute to remember what happend on the catch, what was on it and when she did she quickly jumped to her feet. "Ew" she said a disgusted look on her face. "Need a shower later" she said to herself ignoging the laughter that came from a few people aound her. Ellen of course just searched through the crowd of people for Darren who seemedto have a fock of girls already. Ellen only raised a brow and laughed, she laughed until she felt like her lungs were going to explode. She had feelings for her friend of course, but it was still funny to see that she was right. _________________ |

Darren smirked, knowing very well he was probably just annoying her now. He had to avoid all the questions of how he came to be alive, or why. So stalling was easy, and another smirk crept along his face at the sound of shattering glass. Proven right, without any need to really sense anything. Darren looked at her, even at the sound, he didn't flinch. Why was she still hiding under the cover, it was as if he was the boogey man not her dream man. He shrugged it off, blinking a bit. He wasn't liking all these thoughts, this human emotion. Atleast not its entirety. Her gaze went a little surprised, which was common. Hearing shattered glass in your own house would worry anyone. Darren watched her rush to the door, and unlock it quickly. A kiss, the contact sudden and alien. The feeling of fluttering, it was a normal feeling even for him. Thanks to her own feelings. The linger left him wanting more, just as it would any male. His gaze followed her fleeting form, was it rushed down the stairs. Darren stood, walking out into the hall. He didn't need to hear the voices of Ava warning Ellen about the scent of weed, he could smell it quickly. Darren looked around silently, moving slowly closer to the room. Darren heard her thoughts, and smirked slightly. Was that a wish, of course he knew she had made threats like that before. Many, as he knew most humans did. He walked closer to the room, and the scent got stronger. Opening the door, he stepped in slowly, closing it behind him.
Darren knew, immediately, that Ellen wouldn't want them here anymore. It was a small group, only about five. Jason, the one taking the puff now, stopped and looked at him. "Heh, hey its Ellen's little bitch." Jason spat, making Darren only smirk. "Piss of buddy." One of the other guys said. "I think Ellen would prefer you guys to leave." Darren said simply, his eyes covered by his hair. Oh, but he could see clearly. Though none of them moved, they just simply laughed. "Really? You think she can do anything about it?" Jason asked, smirking. "Or are you gonna do it for her?" He asked, making Darren chuckle softly. "You could just leave quietly, without any problems." Darren said simply, still not putting anything into his words. Darren pulled out a small switchblade, holding it out to show them. "Shit, man. Calm down." One of the guys said, Darren stepped aside to let them out. "Shit, all we wanted was a little puff..." One muttered, Darren only smirked. Darren walked out with them, and closed the door. Putting his knife back up his sleeve, Darren walked down the stairs after them. 'Though you might want them gone...' He told Ellen in her mind, smiling a bit. He knew that the guys were probably thinking Ellen's new toy was a freak, but that was fine with him. _________________ |

| -Those VOICES in your head will only get worse until they finally come ALIVE-She kept quiet for the most part listening to him. Holding her blanket as high as she could without touching her face. Her hands gently playing with the trim of it all. She would be the first to admit she needed Darren arund, but he didn't have to tell her that it was all for her. If she was a weaker kind of girl she would have fainted by now. He hadn't answered all her questions yet , but she was fine with that. She supposed he had nis own reasons and she wasn't going to bug him about it. Of course at the mention of them doing anything down there she merely shrugged her shoulders. "Their isn't much else they can do. They already had sex on my bed, how much more could they do" she said with a small shrug of her shoulders before she gave a small smile. Of course not even a minute after she spoke she heard the shattering of glass and she quickly sat up straight eyes widened from the fright of hearing something over the music. Next was of course Ava's voice yelling at some boy named Daniel, name was familiar. It took Ellen a moment to remember who the boy was and then it hit her he was the boy in her science class her partner. For a moment she felt kind of stupid, but then she remembered the shattered sound of glass. Only a few things down stairs could break. It wasn't like her mother was someone who loved to collect statues made of glass. Another few seconds passed before she remembered the globe she had gotten when her mother and father had taken a cruise together to Alaska. A beautiful place Ellen still had the photos. Her favorite photo she kept in the globe since it had a slot for it. The bottom of the globe came out and you could smaller pictures into the globe. She quickly got up moving toward her door to go down stairs and see the damage done. Unlocking the door rather quickly of course she didn't walk out. She just moved back toward Darren and placed another kiss against his lips letting her lips linger against his for a bit longer than the last one. She slowly pulled away soon enough though and hurried herself down stairs. Sure enough as soon as she made it down stairs she saw her globe broken to bits. Fake snow flakes and water spilled on the ground. The picture soaking wet. She moved quickly toward the small mess quickly pushing the glass aside and removing the picture. She set it back onto the shelf it had dropped from. Ignoring the small cut she had got from the glass bits. Nothing bad, just a flesh wound. "It wasn't my fault I swear Ellen. It was just a simple game of catch. Ava wanted to join in said she could catch the ball, but I guess I through it to hard and she ducked" Daniel said. Green eyes looking over Ellen's small form. "I-its fine....no harm no foul" she said slowly before putting on a smile. One that was oh...so fake. 'Excuses excuses, no apology asshole. Why don't you just go and die in some ditch' she thought to herself keepin her smile perfectly in place. She slowly moved into the kitchen to grab the broom and mop while Ava kept people away from the mess so they didn't hurt themselves on the glass. "I'm so sorry Ellen. I-I'll buy you a frame or something for the picture. I really wasn't thinking I guess..." Ava said slowly when Ellen appeared back with her broom and paper towels. "Its fine really Ava. I'm not mad at you" Ellen said quietly, of course she was a bit mad at her friend who wouldn't be, but it wasn't like she could rewind time and stop it all from happening. Besides it was her fault for leaving the party unattended. "By the way Jason and some of his buddies went upstairs. Probably to your mothers room. I'm about 100 percent sure their getting stoned off their asses at the moment. When I went upstrairs to see you and Darren I heard them from your mothers room went to go check in on them and well...unless you want your mothers room smelling of weed I suggest you do something. And Catherine brought her college buddy over who just went out to get some liquor for like....everyone" Ava said watching as Ellen simply smacked her head with her hand, finally noticing her cut. She was going to bandage that later, right now she was going to go and kick Jason and his buddies out of her house, hunt down Catherine throw her out a window, and then deal with her college friends when they got here with the drinks. In all honesty Ellen wasn't going to lie and say she hated rinking, but she had promised her mother a certain amout of things and she wasn't going to break every one of those promises otherwise it meant she was grounded for a long time. _________________ |

Yes, he knew everything she did, and every thought that went through her mind. Would he expose her? Not at all. The blush on her face had been evident since the beginning, and it only seemed to go away for a bit before returning. Did he really make her all giddy on the inside? Darren smirked a little at that, finding it slightly entertaining. He blinked when she suddenly clung to him, and smirked a little. Beaten, or raped. Kidnapped was an interesting one. In a field though? What was the likeliness that people would be there at the exact point he awoke human. Slim. Her touch, while firm, still put exhiliration into him. Only he concealed it pretty well, his gaze shifting away from hers. "You called me here, you needed me to show up at that door. It was all for you." Darren said, smiling a little. Even though it was the first time he was fully human, he was still able to understand emotion. He learned everything through her, which was more sorrow then anything. Except for his entrance, whenever she called on him. Now, he was free to be with her. To fully know what emotion was, what a touch felt like.
A smile creeped along his face, at her words. She didn't want to be like her 'friend' but she admitted she would if it was him. Darren smiled at that, but said nothing. Slowly coming to actually put emotion into everything, its not every day that you suddenly become human. Just like that, not born, but created. Dealing with the human body was sudden, and a little confusing. His eyes widened a bit, at her touch. Her soft hand against his cheek, a quick blush an then nothing as she dropped it. He looked at her, and listened. Though he did not fully trust Ava, due to that fact he barely knew her, Darren knew she was the only true friend Ellen had. His gaze shifted to the door. "You realize they could be doing anything down there.." He said, implying anything at all. Even he didn't know, but he was sure they were doing something. You don't just expect people to do nothing at a free house party. _________________ |

| -Those VOICES in your head will only get worse until they finally come ALIVE-"I know you know. You know every las detail about me and every thought I came up with. Which is really quite embaressing because alot of that stuff is just..." she paused not really wanting to got there. He knew and that was enough, she didn't have to spell it out for him. "Wrong" she said simply turning her head away to try and hide her beat red face. Ellen blinked a few times at the words 'in a feild'. Quickly looking back toward him. "A feild?! You could've been hurt. Or kidnapped...or...or god forbid raped" she said quickly eyes widened before she moved over to him grabbing his shoulders. Not enough to actually hurt him though. "Your okay though right?" she asked softly. "Why couldn't you have appeared in my bedroom or something that could havemade things a hell of alot more easier, but no you come knocking on my door like the best damned birthday present since the puppy I got when I was nine who is probably hiding under a bed some where at the moment" she said before releasing his shoulders and once more falling back into the head board. That was Ellen over filled with fear when she thought someone could have gotten hurt. "Poor Lou is probably scarred of these people" she said slowly wondering where she was going to find the old dog after the party was over. "I'm going to hit you if you keep talking like that. Saying stuff like that in my head makes it seem like i'm saying it to myself, but hearing it come from living breathing person well kind of makes me feel like i'll do something extrodinarly stupid. And wish not to pull a Catherine and sleep with boy, even if he is you, at my party" she said softly. She couldn't understand for the life of hr why she made him so....nice or whatever the word was for it. She knew she liked guys like him otherwise he wouldn't be here, but whenit came down to it, boys like that made her do stupid things like squeel and make sure they never left the bed for the next three days, but men like that hadn't really existed in her life up until now. She smiled happily when she heard his voice in her head. "Wel if it gets worse I think I can handle it alot better now. I've got you around now after all" she said leaning forward somewhat to gently stroke his cheek. A smile rested happily on her lips before she let her hand drop back down to her side. "Ava'a an okay girl. She can do some stupid things to upet me and she's boy crazy to the extreme, but she knows boundaries. She won't do what Catherine did, she'll joke about it and all if she's a hundread percent sure people are together, if she's not though then dear lord I feel sorry for that boy" she said simply before shrugging her shoulders somewhat. "I hope she respcts boundaries this time as well, other wise me and her might have some serious issues later" Ellen said quietly before a small sigh escapted her lips. _________________ |

| -This is a Call, This is a call out-
Thousands, of girls. Any mans dream, all that desire. Yet, none of it interested him at all. It gave a quick smile on his lips at her words, but it disappeared. Darren would've said something in return, but the kiss stopped him. However much time it was actually, perhaps mere seconds. It was endless to him, just another thing that was impossible the night before. A quick peck, that to him seemed like a marriage kiss. A smile creeped on his face, weak, but constant. Yes, he knew she wanted to do that. Was he surprised, not in the least. Though it still made him happy, whatever that emotion was to him. "I know" He said simply, before glancing at the door. Then back at her. Her mind was a flutter of emotions, and hard to comprehend. But, he had been doing it for years. Nine. So figure it out wasn't all that difficult, the smile on his face faded away finally. Of course she would swoon over Darren, aswell as other girls. She created him, the perfect match. Any girl could create their perfect man, but none would really get him. Ellen just happened to be lucky.
The previous night, and that day's morning. The period in which he had disappeared, but not entirely. It was the time, when even he felt confused and lost. Though what he went through to get there, in the field, was something he'd probably never say. He didn't understand most of it. "I was out in a field, and came here at your call." Darren said, listening to her words. All those people, they had no reason to be there. Except to use the house to party, it made him sick. Especially her ex-boyfriend, and that other girl. "I'm still yours, so I'm still looking out for you." He said, before shifting his gaze away. The thought of being tossed out, of being replaced, caused a slight shiver for him. Though he knew her intentions were comical, nothing serious. Nine years is the longest anyone has ever kept an imaginary friend, you don't just happen to have them come alive. Darren knew he couldn't be replaced, because she wouldn't. Her next imaginary friend could wait centuries, and never become alive. It was all resting on her, and her needs. Darren had been created to help her, comfort her, what better way to protect her then in flesh.'It'll only get worse, I'm afraid.' He told her with his mind, not bothering to look at the door. He knew her friend was heading up the stairs, he looked at her.'I don't trust her, but she is the only one that is here for you.' He told Ellen, running a hand through his hair. Perhaps it was that he didn't trust himself with her friend, for the mere fact that temptation was evil. Not likely to do anything, but even if her friend seduced him, he'd immediately warn Ellen. That her one friend is trying to take her guardian. It was unlikely to occur, Darren knew his place. It was beside Ellen, and no one else. _________________ |

| -Those VOICES in your head will only get worse until they finally come ALIVE-
Ellen listened to his words before a gasp escapted her lips. Sowly she growled out from under her covers and sat up. "Do you even hear yourself speak? Your going to make every girl swoon saying lines like that" she said a deep blush on her face. Times like this she wished she was tan so her blush would be hidden. "Seriously you make my legs feel like jell-o. Then again you've always known what to say. Mainly because you've lived in me for nine years. Oh who am I saying i'd swoon over any guy who looked and acted like you any time of the day. So would about a thousand other girls but....i'll shurt up now" she said softly leaning forward somewhat and placing a quick kiss again his lips and then quickly diving under her covers again like some little gil frightened by a ghost. "I'm sorry. Always wanted to do that, but i'm sure you know that and every other thing I want to do" she said quickly in a way she wondered ifhe actually understood. She really didn't know what to think at the moment. And she was sure even he would have a problem trying to decode whatever her mind was thinking. All she was sure of was she was happy as hell.
"Where did you go last night? I mean this morning you weren't with me and the you show up at my door where were you?" she asked slowly really curious. Everything was just such a shocker to her, but then again how wouldn't this be a shock to everyone. She slowly moved out from under the covers once more this time leaning her back against the board of the bed behind her. Holding the blankets up to her neck as if it were her life. The blush on her cheeks still bright with color against her flesh. "Oh and before I forget, you don't have to worry about the people down there, Cathrine and Jason, you really don't even have to worry about me anymore seeing as how you have your own life now. But i'd be really happy if you did" she said smiling widely toward him. The blush finally dieing down in color. "And are you teling me that anyone and everyone can have an imaginary friend as long as they keep them for nine years?" she said slowly before grinning like some kind of maniac. "So that means I could have another imaginary friend in nine years even better than you?" she said slowly before gave a small giggle and waved her hand in dismissal. "Kidding, Kidding your all I ever wanted and more" she said happily of course she had no clue how exactly that sounded, but even if she did the most she would do would be to hide under the covers. Soon enough she could hear the door knob rattle. "Aw c'mon Ellen your no fun"Ava's voice could be heard from the other side beforeshe left. "Heh. I knew it..." Ellen said giving a small sigh. Sometimes she had to wonder why she even hung around some of these people. It wasn't like they wanted to be her friend, the guys had one thing on their mind and that was pretty virgin girl and of course when the guy flock around one girl, every girl wants to be that girls friend to get in with the guys. Catherine was one of those girls and she definatly got what she wanted, tons of other girls were like Catherine only still trying, Ava was hard to read, and every guy friend Ellen had well as said was after one thing. 'Sounds like some drama soap opera my life...' she thought to herself for a moment before shaking her head somewhat._________________ |

| -Its All Up Here, Everything-
He gave a short nod, when she offered her place to stay. Where else could he really go, he felt like he was still just imaginary. Except, for the fact that everyone else could see him. Darren would've whipped her tears, had she been unable to hold back. He felt a little sad aswell, if only because she did. His gaze did not waver from the eyes that starred back. Like a cloud, of various colors. Were they really envious, and angry? Or just confused. Non of them knew fully about him, he knew Ellen didn't go ranting about him. They would simply call her insane. He followed her to the group of girls, and immediately knew he was being looked all over. Though his gaze rested on Ellen, or other places. Averting them completely from any of the girls. His gaze moved to Ellen, listening to her thoughts. 'I can get rid of those two, if you want.' He said, not even answering her question. It was clear to him who the two on the couch were, and he was acting as her hidden anger. He felt the need to rip them up, and toss them out without clothes. They had no respect.
His gaze went with hers, though his face was still forward. It was odd, being able to do that. He was still apart of her, even if he was flesh and blood. The shiver, which made him even more angry. Though his features were still calm and collected. None of them knew what they were in for. He returned to himself, when he felt the tug. Brown hues shifting to the hand that he was holding. He quickly glanced at Ava, and knew her suggestion. Though still nothing changed in him, as if he was incapable of emotion. It wasn't true, in fact he was a firestorm of emotion. He just had no reason to unleash it, not unless Ellen wanted him to. He followed her wordlessly, up the stairs and into the bedroom. All of the people downstairs who saw, would immediately think something other then just talking.
He kept looking at her, ignoring the whistles from behind them. Standing in her room, he glanced at her as she shut and then locked the door. She didn't trust even her closest friend, then again Darren himself didn't trust the girl. Which could just be the reflection of Ellen. Feeling her hand slip from his, made him gasp quickly and quietly. If only she knew how long he wished to hold her. He watched her jump onto her bed, and lay there. Asking. Wanting to know. Darren knew why he was there, but she wouldn't be able to handle it then. He kept it to himself. He walked around the room quietly, still not answering her. "9 years." He said suddenly, walking to the bed. "You kept me for 9 years, near a decade. I was granted this form, because of it." Darren said, sitting down on her bed. "I don't fully understand, but the concept is simple. You kept me for longer then anyone has ever kept a imaginary friend." His voice just a bit weaker. "Now you get to have me, completely." Darren said, looking at her. It would probably be all to confusing to her. He knew, and yet he didn't. It was complicated beyond measures. _________________ |

| -Those VOICES in your head will only get worse until they finally come ALIVE-
Ellen squeezed him a bit tighter when he thanked. 'Oh god, here come the tears' she said quickly and pulled away slowly fanning her face to try anddry her eyes befre the tears ruined the make up she had spent hours doing. Not only that, but she didn't want about 20 people comin on asking what was wrong. "Alright, i'll come up with a lie for my mother so you can stay here with me alright, Darren?" she said slowly before grabbing his hand and pulling him toward a group of grils whome already knew his name thanks to Ava. "So Ellen me and the girls wanted to know about the um...lovebirds on the couch" Ava started slowly. "Yeah she's kind of already down to her panties and as much as we'd all love to see Jasn with nothing on Catherine's a different story" Ava finished and watched as Ellen only sighed. "Well i'm not going to do anything. The last thing I need is to get into a fight at my own party. Not only that, but my mother would kill me if I got a bruise. Besides not even those two can bring down my mood right now" she said simply smiling happily as she squeezed a bit tighter to Darren's hand. 'Alright spill Darren. You have to know how you came to life. Tell me i'm not just losing my mind' she though to herself green-blue eyes eyeing him down in real life.
She was seriously bubbly with joy on the inside. Of course she wanted nothingore tha to endthe party and just do circles like some maniac. It was just she had to act calm. She was probably already being looked at like avslut by some or most of the party. The last thing she needed was to add the word insane to that. She stood a few more minutes listening to some of her freinds speak. They wished her ahappy birthday and other things, talking bout future boyfriends, concerts, other parties. Eventually Catherine and Jason finished on the couch. Ellen gave a smal shudder of disgust as they got dressed. She was definatly going to havet clean up her couch later. "Hey um..Listen i'll be back later..." she said slowly pulling Darren slowly behind her. "You taking Darren with you?" Ava asked with a slight grin on her lips. "Not what your thinking" Ellen said quickly blushing a bright red color. She just wanted to talk to the boy. Come one nine years of actually having a freind in your head, was like nine years of having a phone only friend. Whe you finally meet them your insane and feel like being with them instead ofthe people you spend every waking moment with. She had no problem ditching her party for a few minutes to spend time with Darren. She would eventually go down. Besides he had some questions to answer.
She pulled him up the stairs ignoring some of the whistles she got. That was quite annoying. She quickly pulled him into her room and shut the door locking it behind her. Knowing Ava she would try to come in, either that or Catherine and Jason. She soon released his handand quickly ran over to her bed and jumped onto it. "Alright tell everything" she said slowly befre tilting her head somewhat. "I mean unless you don't even know. WHich wouldn't surprise me cause its not like you see on the news everyday, 17 year olds imaginary friend comes to life" she said slowly blinking a few times a realization hit her. He knew everything. Every sick fantasy, every horrible thing she thought about herself, every fight with her mother. A blus quickly crept to her face and she quickly moved under her covers.

| -Its All Up Here, Everything-
He couldn't help but feel the touch as something extraordinary, seeing as he was never able to touch her. Not physically atleast. Darren 'Well not all' He said in her mind, smirking a little. He assumed she would probably be surprised, though he would be surprised if she was. Nine years of having that voice in your head, you'd be used it by now. Even if the holder of the voice stood before you. So she had taken on his recomandation to confirm his existance, simply by asking them if they saw him. He chuckled inside, but his face was straight. Even if they did see him, they still gave her the look as if she was crazy. Fools. Why were most of them there anyways, definitely not for his Ellen. Yes, indeed, he completely claimed her. Not in an overly obsessive way, but nine years showed him enough. No one there was even close to being better then Ellen. Darren's eyes flashed from Ellen, to the approaching girl. Mildly attractive, something he doubted she'd want to hear. Sure, he could speak, but to what purpose. He was only there for Ellen, and this girl wasn't worth his time.
No expression either, most would think he was the freak. He didn't blush, or become offended by Ava's words. Single in relationship terms, by human status atleast. Darren however, knew he was taken. Not by force, but by his own affections. Still, he held no expression when Ellen spoke. About to respond, he blinked suddenly at the interuption from her 'friend'. He blinked and watched her closely, she was envious. The fact that Darren was attractive, and showing little interest in her. He smirked slightly, but it disappeared. Humans were entertaining creatures. 'Not likely to happen, girl.' He thought, talking about Ava. "My name is Darren, Ava." He told her, not hinting at anything at all. What was the use, no one would believe him anyways. Not to mention he didn't want Ellen being considered crazy, or powerful. Even if someone tried taking her away from him, it was unlikely to actually happen. He had protected her for nine years, he could do it for enternity.
His eyes wavered only a bit, from her contact again. It seemed the only thing that gave him any emotion, though his emotions reflected her own. Just most of the time he was able to hide them. The touch of her hands, and the feel of her body against his own. He smiled a bit, noticing all the glares. Not that they mattered at all, just pathetic boys who only wished, and girls who knew nothing. Naive people. The envy of females, and the hate of males. Oh how it was entertaining to be human already. His arms wrapped around her gently, his head to the side of hers. "Thank you." He whispered to her. There was a whole list as to what those two words meant, that no human could really think of. Thank you for creating me, for keeping me, for talking to me, for being there, for making me who I am in your arms right now. All those, and more summed up in two words. _________________ |

| -Those VOICES in your had will only get worse until they come ALIVE-
Ellen stood a bit longer, hand still pressed to his chest, unmoving. 'Oh god...you see Ellen this is what happens when you talk to a boy in your head for nine years. They com to life...' she thought to herself expecting to hear his voice in return and find out this as some strang, out of ths world, coincidence that this boy looked just like her Darren. She was thrust back into reality though when she heard his voice, everything matched. She took a quick shallow breath before quickly moving her hand from his chest blushing a bright red color. Oh lord...she had never been able to touch him. That was deifnatly a new feeling, one she would have to get used to and quickly as possible. 'Okay Ellen take a breath and say 'hello'' she thought to herself carefully. "Hello Darren" she said slowly, her mind making the wods feel foreign on her tongue. Usually she never saw him, standing in front of her and saying hello. Upon hearing his request she figured that was a good idea. "Guys....Ava in specific. Do you see this man?" she asked slowly watching as some of her friends raised a brow, some continue whatever they were doing like dancing and ignored her, others continued having to much fun on her couch or somewhere else in her house, Ava of course walked over. "Wow! Ellen no wonder you were't so bummbed about losing Jason. Of course I thought you were a bit above Catherine if I might say" Ava said before quickly smiling toward Darren. Ellen knew the smile. 'Oh dear lord in heaven she's flirting with my imaginary freind...Darren...I mean....what the hell is this natural?! No one ever told me if I keep an imaginary friend for years they come to life' she thought quicly to herself.
She was to busy freaking out about her no existing imaginary friend that she hardly took notice to the fact that Ava just kind of dissed her in a way, saying she was like Catherine. Of course the next words that flew out of Ava's mouth she definatly heard. "Is he single? Tell me your not actually dating him?" Ava asked only to watch Ellen stumble back some. This was a little, alot, to much for one day. "D-Darren? Are you really my Darren?" she said softly before taking a small breath to try and calm her nerves, but to no avail. Ava starred at her for a moment wondering about Ellen odd mood, but quickly sighed "Ellen that is not 'Darren'. If you start going on about that stupid imaginary friend of yours again people are going to start thinking you to be a freak like back in middle school" Ava said slowly before shaking her had slowly and trying to get Ellen to stand up straight. Eventually she succeeded. "You better watch it with this one though Ellen. I might try and steal him away from you" Ava said softly closin the door behind Darren. Of course Ellen hardly cared if Ava was serious or joking at the moment. If ths really was her Darren, then she hoped she didn't have to worry about him actally bein taken from her. He could date whom ever he pleased as long as he was still alwas there for her. ANother thought quickly hit her...mother? How was she going to explain to her mother that a boy was going to be living with them? Sur eher mother usually agreed to everything, but letting a boy live with them. One whom her mother never met...? Oh god she was going to have to come up withone hell of a lie.
She blinked a few times. Shouldn't she be happy he was real now? She shouldn't actually be like this at the moment. She could wory about other things later right? She bit her lip somewhat, how was she suppose to act in this situation? It wasn't exactly like it was a common case. It wasn't everyday your imaginary friend for nine years came to life. She was confused, happy, feeling a bit insane at the moment, and scarred as hell as what was going to happen now. If someone found out he was created by her, form her head, they might imprison them both or deam her insane. She quickly pinched her side and winced lightly at how rough she had been with herself. Apparently she wasn't dreaming, so there was no real explanation for this. She took a few more breaths before taking a few steps toward him and wrapping her arms around his waist. "I can actually hug you now" she muttered under her breath hardly noticing a few glares she got. Guys could cheat on women and get praised for it, if people even thought a girl had been cheating they were deamed a slut. Lovely how the world worked, f course at the moment Ellen didn't really give a shit about her reputation.
