Aki nodded her head as she stood in front of her parent's house, the confidence she once had beginning to fade away. She stood, waiting for one of her parents to answer the door. She just hope it wasn't her father. To her happiness, her mother answered the door, wiping her hands with a dish rag. Akira looked at the two, smiling before she invited them inside. "Come on in, you too! We just got through with breakfast. Sorry, but there isn't any left-overs. You know how your father is." She smiled as she opened the door wider, allowing them to walk inside. She couldnt help but notice something a bit different though; a smell lingered on the two of them and thanks to her sensitive sense of smell, she knew something was up but she kept quiet. She wanted for them to tell her, not for her to burge in on their business.

Aki nodded, walking inside first before glancing back to see if Croix was going to follow her. Her father, Kyo, was sitting on the couch, watching the news as one hand rested on his stomach. "Well hello; good to see you too." He greeted them, unaware of the fact that they were now mates.

"Take care mom." Croix placed two fingers to his forhead before vanishing as if they were never there. Instantly later, they were at Aki's house but despite himself he felt a bit nervous. Normally he was cool with the big guy but he didn't know how this would turn out. True he could take care of himself but he really hoped things didn't go that far but it seemed out of his hands. "I guess it's now or never with us huh?"

Then he knocked. And waited.

Aki couldn't be more grateful towards the women. She smiled, nodding her head. Sad to see them grown-up? Well they did do alot of growing up in the past years. They weren't little kids anymore that were always challenging and playing with one another; they were full-grown adults that were now mates and possibly will start a family with one another. She looked at Croix, smiling before she turned her head back to Helena, hugging the women in return. "We will, thanks alot Helena." She thanked her before she turned to her mate. "We should be going now." She suggested, feeling confident about telling her father after the pep-talk from Helena.

Helena grinned a bit. "Of course, I'm always right." She said in a almost matter-of-fact tone of voice, but it was obviously just teasing. "I know your father can be protective of you, but I also know he wants you to be happy. And if Croix makes you happy then I think he'll eventually calm down and come around, he's never been able to stay mad at you or your decisions for too long."

She looked at the two. "..I'm almost kind of sad to see you two grown up. You used to be such a cute little thing Aki. Not that you aren't now, but now I can't spoil you like I used to." She then gave Aki a hug. "Just please be careful out there all right? Just know you'll always have a home here if you don't have a place to go."

Helena smiled a motherly smile at her. "Aki, out of all the people I know, I know you're are truly serious about this. More then that I used to remember when you were so small you barely reached my knees. You're not a little girl anymore Aki but instead your a young woman. Croix is a good young man, I should know, I raised him." She said, winking at the boy who rubbed the back of his head as she continued. "He'll have to accept this one way or another, even if it'll be hard. Don't look so down, it will be fine. But do one favor for me, ok?"

The woman gently lifted her chin. "Smile. You're much prettier when you smile instead of looking worried. You have to keep your wrinkles out for your future husband." She teased good-naturedly.

Helena watched them curiousity, her mother's tution was getting the better of her by the minute. Croix and Aki did smell a lot like each other, this was normal but this time they seemed to be apart of one another. If she didn't know any better, she would say the two were already mated to one another. The woman was about to say something when Aki answered that silent question that was on her mind. Oh..

"You two are mates now?" Helena asked surprised, then it melted away as she gave both her 'children' a hug. "I'm so proud of you two!"

"Gah! Mom!" Croix said embarrassed, feeling like a little kid, and reluctantly pulled away.

"Sorry, I just got caught in the heat of the moment." Helena looked at them, becoming a bit more serious. "I want you two be more careful for now on okay? I can't have my future daughter-in-law getting herself hurt." She said, winking at Aki. But she knew she was embarrassing them(or at least Croix) so she let it drop. "Do your parents know yet Aki?"

(OCC: Sorry for the wait, writers block and such. I forgot the name of Croix's parents lol)

Croix thought that would be the best idea to go see his parents first. He didn't think Aki's mom and sister would have too much of a problem with it, but he didn't know about his father. The Alusarian wasn't sure about Sayain culture, but he knew they were a warrior culture with a sense of honor(at least the Sayain's these days). Hopefully, a aspect of that culture wouldn't require Aki's old man to challenge him in a fight to see if he was worhty or something. Or maybe he had been watching too many movies.

"Yeah. My dad's probably out but I know my mom is there." Croix wrapped a arm around Aki's waist somewhat protectively before putting two fingers to his forhead, locating the familar ki signature before vanishing from his apartment; appearing seconds later in front of another house. Letting go of Aki, he knocked on the door, then calmly waited.

At first there was no response, then Croix's mother(we'll just call he Helena) opened the door, dressed like she was going for a jog. She always up in the mornings. "Oh, you two? Come in, come in." She ushered the two young people before closing the door. "Thanks for looking after my son Aki, what did you do to wake him up?" Helena teased lightly.

Croix watched as Aki stuffed herself silly with food, not minding at the least. Instead his own corner he was busy stuffing himself with his own food. He was slightly worried about how the mission would pan out, it shouldn't be Too hard. However he knew that some of the easier-sounding assignments were often the most deadly and dangerous of them all. There were stronger people to look after the young princess, that was true, but he partly suspected that he and Aki were used because while they were strong, not overly so to attract others attention. Once they were done saying good byes they'd have to ask their boss more of the details. Of course by then he should have the information printed and filed for them to read on.

"Do you want to visit my parents or yours?" He asked, trying to keep his voice light.
