"Oh, so that's what this is about......." Ezo's fist shook at his side, as he was trying to suppress some pent up anger. He stared at Nakia, sucked his teeth, and unconciously began tapping his foot on the metal tiles. It was obvious that this bothered him, but he didn't speak. after what seemed like forever, he sighed. "How long have we got?"

"Night Kammie," the two girl said at the same time and then Lia looked at Nakia questioningly, but her gaze was locked on the walls. Suddenly she shook her head and told Ezo, "You have to get ready to leave soon. Our father is coming through with an army to clean up the tunnels. Lia and me will guard you, but even I can not stand against our father. He sent warning, so I want to heed it and not fall out of his graces." They looked to Ezo, knowing he'd probably be angry, outraged that they were telling him to pack up and leave and that two females would guard him.

"Awww do I really have to go?" Kammie whined, with a pleading look upon her face. She looked at all three of the adults, hoping for a sympathetic response. Ezo shook his head, and pointed to the stairs. "Oh....alright...." admitting defeat, she hugged Lia, giving her had a quick squeeze before pulling away. She hugged Nakia tightly, practically squeezing her. She jumped over to Ezo, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Good night Ezo!" "Sleep tight Kam." Kammie kissed him on the cheek, then ran up the stairs. A few seconds later she came back down, giving Ezo a confused look. "Uh.....Ezo?" "What?" "Wheres my bed?" "Oh" Ezo had almost forgotten about the mess that the screechers caused. Her bed nearly crushed him earlier. "Nevermind that. Sleep in my room, okay?" Kammie nodded before trotting back up the stairs "G'night everyone!"

"Fine! I'll take this half, but you better take care of your half!" Lia replied, giggling and also trying to glare. She tugged at Kammie's feet and whined again, "Mine!"

Suddenly Nakia was in the doorway to the room, clapping her hands, and saying, "Okay, bed time for the munchkin. I need to talk to the adults."

"I don't wanna go to sleep," Lia protested jokingly, but Nakia just shock her head wordlessly.

Ezo grinned, playfully glaring at Lia. "You want her? Fine. But I get this half!" he gently pulled at Kammie's ankles, tickling her feet. In between laughs, she pleaded with the two of them. "C'mon you two! Stop! This isn't fair!"

Nakia walked out of the room, to the living room and started to poke around, thinking about where she'd have Lia sleep. After a while, she climbed out onto the roof to sit guard. The whole time, Lia laughed at the sight her two human friends made. Walking over, she grabbed Kammie's hands playfully and tugged. "Gimme Kammie!"

feeling Ezo frowned, watching Lia gulp down the soup with a sour look. Kammie was still on the floor in hysterics. Kneeling down beside her he poked her in the ribs. "All right kid, that's enough." Picking her up, he flipped her upside down, and began carrying her around the room. He did this until she begged him to stop.

"Sorry, Ezo, no hard feelings, right?" Nakia said, releasing him and giving him a playful peck on the cheek as she switched her gaze to Lia whom gulped down the bowl. The cat like girl licked her lips and purred, "I don't see why you didn't just drink it. I like it." The girls looked at the laughing Kammie with matching soft smiles.

Kammie quickly rushed over, a wide smile plastered across her face. Ezo's eyes shifted from the bowl to Lia's face, then back to the bowl again. It seemed he was in checkmate. Hanging his head in defeat, he finally blurted out: "Alright!Alright! I won't cook anymore! I got the message! Now please just get that away from me!" Kammie was tickled to see Ezo in this state, and fell on the floor in a giggling fit. "Y'know, I'm glad someone sees the humor here!"

It was hard to tell who was laughing harder at Ezo's expression, but just before the bowl touched his lips, Lia pulled it back and met his gaze. Dead serious, he asked, "Will you refrain from poisoning-I mean, cooking for Kammie or at least taste your food first?" Nakia laughed harder as Lia swiveled the bowl towards him threateningly, and called to Kammie, "Get over here, in case we need the hands to pry his mouth open."

"Aw damn!" Ezo struggled against Nakia's grip, shaking his head wildly as Lia slowly approached. "Hey! You aren't serious about this, are you? I mean, we could try to work this out right? C'mon, you honestly don't expect me to drink it do you? GET THAT CRAP AWAY FROM ME!!" Kammie could barely contain her laughter as she watched Ezo being tortured like this.

"Nakia get his hands!" Lia crowed as she went after the bowl and Nakia did as instructed, pinning Ezo's hands behind his back. The oldest girl leaned against the wall, laughing too hard to stand up straight, as Lia slowly advanced, her cat like tail waving behind her and an evil smile curving her lips up. Teasingly, she cooed, "Say 'ah' for the soup."
