ooc: lookin like it

I guess he abandoned us again...

Zentyu was lost in thought for the first time that he could remember his mind was drawing a blank. Not a single reasonable idea entered his knowledgeable head. He looked around at the faces of the others. He couldn't bare to fail now. It was his stupid idea to come here. He had put them all in a great deal of danger. Just last night they were all sleeping in different rooms. It's possible that mariel, and Ryan would've been all right, and he, and sunny had a very slim chance, but Momo's only real choice would be to hide. He began to feel guilty for something that hadn't happened. "I..." He was opening his mouth to tell the others he wasn't sure when Mariel touched his face in her hands. They were warm, and comforting like an old friend you haven't seen in a while. He wanted to remain in this sense of calm, but it began to fade the moment she moved away. A bit lingered helping to draw him out of his hole of self pity, and doubt he was working himself into. He looked at her. Thank you He thought to her as he looked at her. He nodded. "You are right, but still...how do we get through..."Before he could finish his sentence, or think to try to stop her she was gone. He looked at the others. There were a few houls, and bangs, and booms then suddenly quiet. Sonny moved with Momo not leaving her side, and hugging to her leg tightly. Zentyu looked at Mariel in awe. "Mariel you are incredibly." He smiled. "We should hurry we don't want any unexpected surprises."

Zentyu wondered if he would die, but only for a moment. He began trying to devise a plan to get Sonny out of here. He didn't want the child to die as well. "Sonny..." He whispered. "If i die hide underneath my body, and don't make a sound." He smiled weakly. "I will protect you." Just in the nick of time Ryan showed up making quick work of the infected that had nearly killed Zentyu. He thought they were saved, but it turned out there were more..., lots more. Zentyu was to weak to help. The blood had pooled around him. He didn't even have the energy to move. Ryan scooped him up, and in what seemd like moments got him to the kitchen area with the two girls. He watched helplessly as Ryan was pulled out of the room. Watching everyone fight. He looked at Momo. "Don't worry about me you should be hiding." He tried to force himself up causing more blood to shoot from his wounds. Sonny looked worried. He looked at Momo. "Wil brother be okay?" He was on the verge of tears. "And Ryan is not a jerk he saved us we need to help him." Sonny watched fearfully as Mariel transformed. He darted behind Momo. He shook horribly watching her slaughter so coldly. As she turned back he still remained hidden. Zentyu quickly pulled away before the blood touched his wounds. He closed his eye's, and his body began to heal itself. "Yours might be to strong for my body. I have some in my blood stream already. I don't know what would happen if they merged." He said. The wounds were fairly healed. They had at least stopped bleeding, but he was still only human. He felt alot of pain. He sat back in the chair. "let me think for a moment..", 'if this place wasn't safe where was.' They had to make it out of infected territory. It was there only chance. "We have to find a way to get to another hiding spot perferably with a lab. " He stood up wincing from the pain, and nearly falling to his knees, but he was able to stop him self by slamming his hand down on the table for stability. He breathed heavy. We may be able to find some stuff here to grab quickly. "Let's all move together. I know there are a few things we can take from the kitchen, and i can use some stuff from the lab. What else do you guys need?"

He glanced at her for a moment when she said she was scared. He didn't let anyone gather that he stared even for a sec when she thought that to him. Don't worry we'll figure this out. He coughed as he looked at the body. He released a sigh. "Okay two things disturb me about this. He one has a lab coat on. It's slightly sripped, but it doesn't look like he's been rolling around outside. In that case it would mean that he's been in here all this time, and..." Zentyu stood up suddenly, and gasped. He rushed from the room. Immediately. "It's been here all this time. Then it's possible they found another source to survive off of somewhere in here, and the fact that one came out could mean whatever they were feeding on is depleted meaning they may all come out. Sonny!" Zentyu called out. Sonny could pick up Zentyu's call, but was still tramatized. Sonny shuddered hearing a horrible noise go clank. He suddenly saw piercing red eye's coming toward him. "Ahh!" He said letting out a scream. The monster lunged at him. Sonny closed his eye's. When he opened it he saw a bright light shining through the monster. Zentyu breathed heavily. Sonny ran forward hugging him. Zentyu dropped to his knees, and hugged the young fox boy. "Big brother..." Sonny cried into Zentyu's arms shaking horribly. He didn't notice the monster coming up behind him. The monster jumped on top of him. He began to dig his nails into Zentyu's back. Zentyu let out a powerful yell. He hugged Sonny tightly refusing to let the monster get to him.

Zentyu smiled in reaction to her smile. Zentyu would rather smile than frown any day and when he saw other people do it he usually found it infectious, and unable to stop himself. He was rather surprised. That was a rather small city. If not for a few books he'd read. He'd probably never have heard of it. She seemed a bit more at ease which made him happy. He kept in the front of his mind that he was the son of the man that had claimed the lives of many of there loved ones. He decided the moment he found out that this was his burden, and he would bare it even if he found the cure. He was positive those alive would hate him if they knew, yet he still planned to tell them all, but not until he found the cure. However at this point in time he was enjoying the Momo's rather light happy company. She caught him off guard when she asked him where he was from. He was never the one being questioned. "Ah..." She went on to suggest that they go look for Sonny. He nodded, and lead the way. "To tell you the the truth. " He looked up at the ceiling as they walked. "I don't remember my early years at all my dad said they adopted me as a baby, but my first memories don't start till i was either five, or six. But i don't know if he's was telling the truth. I don't think he adopted me as a baby." He said. He didn't really get asked much about his self. "It felt good to talk to someone."

Sonny was still deep in the complex shivering with his hands around his body. He tried to control his breathing. He didn't want to be found. He wanted to be left alone. He was so scared like a baby animal.
