Kio stared at the scene that unfolded in front of his bright green eyes. He stared on in horror at what happened. Being here was not going to be a good experience for him, he could sense it. He reached a hand out towards Akina’s shoulder to ask her what he had done, since he had not been paying much attention, but remembered his position and withdrew his hand back to his chest, following her again. His legs ached. Although he had been sitting down for the last couple of hours the vibration of Icarus always made his legs feel like Jelly if he had to endure it for over an hour. He sighed as he rubbed his hip with one hand.

Kio sighed quietly to himself and glanced at Pluto. The little robot thing scared him more than anything he had experienced before, not even his training officer was as scary as this. In addition, to be honest that had terrified him to the core of his inferior being. He had learned to take heed of what he had been ordered and to avoid the merciless beatings that he would be given by the officers if he did not obey his commands to the utmost detail.

Kio’s mind wandered back to his hometown as he glanced over Akina. Her figure reminded him of his sister’s. He missed home but after enrolling, he figured out that bottling your emotions was better than releasing them in front of your comrades. If your leader started doubting, why he was in the military then that would seriously affect your own moral. His mind went further back to when he was a child. His mother had been so loving and caring to him in his younger years, denying him love more and more over the years.

Kio had started seeking love from his older sister. He had felt more than just brotherly love for his sister. They had kissed but he had been drafted the day after. It had never led to anything.

Akina felt around for a cigarette, "....." She sighed as she remembered that she was no longer in her suit, but instead a short, white, plush towel. "Plu...." She said as she looked down at her body guard. "No Aki!" Plu said as she held on to Akina's leather suit tightly. "Plu do not do this to me right now. I am not in the mood to fight with you." Pluto stuck her tongue out at Akina then looked at the new recruit. "I do not like you." Pluto said to the young man. Akina cracked a smile and tried not to laugh. Pluto said random things, but never had she came out and said she disliked someone. "That was not nice Plu. Tell him you are sorry." Pluto shook her head and narrowed her eyes at the man. "He smells like a human." Akina stopped for a second to think about Pluto's comment. Most of the people here were from other planets. "Apologize now." Akina said in a soft voice. Pluto shook her head. "Pluto do it or you are sleeping by yourself....." Pluto looked up at her mistress, her bottom lip began to quiver. "Aki.....No..." Akina shook her head and waited for Pluto to make her decision. Pluto growled as she locked eyes with the young man again, "Plu is sorry." Pluto said. "Good girl." Akina pat Pluto on the head and began to walk again.

"Ireland you say?" Akina asked the new recruit. "I have never been there before. I here it is charming though." As they passed through a set of 20 foot metal sliding doors they entered in to the main hall of the station. Here all of the seasoned soldiers met to socialize. It was pretty empty since everyone was out training, or resting. There was a small group of men watching Akina walk by with Plu, and the new recruit.

"Heh.....check out the fresh meat." The red head said to his friend with blue hair. "Ohhhhhhhh.....he's in for it...look who he is stuck with..." The trio began to laugh and point at the new recruit. The older looking man of the group with light blonde hair elbowed the man with the red hair lightly and said, "I would give Hades three days before she eats him alive." All the men in the group bust out laughing. they were not laughing at Akina, just her latest victim (the new recruit).

Akina could hear their every word. She said nothing to them though. She was not in the mood to fight or argue with any of the other idiots. Pluto tugged on Akina's towel, "Is Aki ok?" Pluto asked. Akina nodded to her friend and smiled faintly, "Yes Pluto. Let's just hurry up...." Akina did not want any of the other men to approach her, and make fun of her new trainee.

"Hey! Hades!!" Akina hated that nickname. Just because she was from the royal family of the planet Pluto did not mean people could call her Hades. There was a reason why everything that revoled around Akina involved death, or hell. The older man with the blonde hair approached Akina and held his hand out to place it on her shoulder. He wanted to get her attention. "Wrong move....." Akina said very softly without looking at the man with the blonde hair. Pluto dropped what she was holding and went in to battle mode. No one was allowed to be near, or touch Akina. "AHHHH!" The man with the blonde hair cried out as the 5'2 hybrid tackled him to the ground and helf a dagger to his throat. Pluto's eyes turned a blood red, and a smirk crawled across her lips. "Plu wants to play." Said Pluto as she began to run the blade across the man's throat. The man with the blonde hair shivered with fear as he looked deep in to the hybrid's souless eyes. He wanted to scream, but one move could kill him.

"Get off Pluto. " Like a faithful dog, without question Pluto retracted her dagger and got from on top of the man. Overeacting the blonde man put his hand over his throat and began to wriggle around. Pluto watched with pleasure as he rolled around and tried to get to his feet. Akina rolled her eyes and continued to walk, "Quit being a fucking pussy! It's only a fucking flesh wound!" Aki was right. Even though Pluto cut him it was only a little. When the man refused to stand up and act like a man Akina stopped, and let out a growl. "YOU TWO! DON'T JUST STAND THERE GET HIM OUT OF MY SIGHT!!!" The two men jumped atleast three feet in the air and took off running to help their friend.

Akina was not the highest ranking officer in the fleet, but most feared her. It all started six years ago when she first enlisted. The "trainers" were told not to go easy on her just because she was royal. In fact her father told them to be harder on her. Akina started out like any other new recruit she followed every command without question, put up with the abuse, and bent over backwards for her fellow comrades. It all ended in a split second.......A few male soldiers thought it would be funny to teach the little princess a lesson in respect and obedience. Late one night as she prepared for bed she was dragged out in to the main hall against her will, stripped, then beat. If the men would have raped her they would have been put to death immediately, but since they beat her they would only have to do some type of community service. Towards the end of the beating they soon realized the true meaning of pain. If they would have stopped to think about where akina was from, what she was capable of, and why her nickname was Hades, things would not have ended up the way they did. In a blur of rage Aki blindly ripped the limbs off each person who had touched her. She did not stop there she continued to torture each man until they begged for death, she did not kill them immediately. She made them watch as she tore them up from inside out by ripping through their stomachs and tore all of the inards out. When Aki was found she was covered in blood. There were no survivors, she had decorated the main hall with the body parts of the men who attacked her.

After that night Aki created the design for Pluto so she would never be attacked, or harmed again. Pluto was programed to be more than just her body guard. Pluto was also Akina's best friend, and sometimes lover (x_x lol Do you mind if Akina is randomly bi?).

Pluto rested her head against Akina's arm and purred. Akina laughed softly and went on. "Tell me about your home land. Is there anything to do out there? What is Earth like?" Akina had never been assigned to work with an earthbound human before. There were subhumans, as well as humans, but it was rare to see one homegrown from earth.

Kio glanced at Akina from time to time, aware that she was getting undressed. He wondered for what but didn’t voice his question as she had already asked him hers. He thought about his answer for a second and his mouth opened to reply but it turned it hung limp at his jaw as she took off her leather suit. He looked away from Akina, trying hard not to look at her practically naked body. During training things had been so much different and the base had never offered a unisex shower but they had been warned that most outposts or military buildings held only unisex bathrooms but some would have 3. He sighed in relief as she left him. He peeked into the middle shower room for both genders. No one was around. He figured he would take his chances with that one then.

Kio started to get undressed from his tight uniform and threw into a heap onto the floor in a dry area of the unisex shower room. He walked underneath one and switched it on, feeling the warm water coursing over his body. He leaned back against the wall, the water still showering down upon him. His mind dwelt on the questions about his life. Why did he join? It was an impulse decision that he didn’t regret. He had to come up with something more interesting than that to tell her. He let his shoulders drop, relaxing under the flowing torrent of heated liquid.

When he was satisfied that he was done Kio turned it off and stepped out from under the nozzle. He grabbed one of the towels that lay folded in the corner. He dried his hair then proceeded to dry the rest of his body. When his body was relatively absent of all water he discarded the towel and got dressed again. He wished he had thought to bring his civilian clothes with him when he had gotten out of Icarus. When he had gotten fully clothed in the tight fabricated uniform he exited out to where he found Akina waiting for him, impatiently.

Kio smiled awkwardly as he approached Akina. “I joined because I felt like it, an impulsive decision. Sorry to disappoint but I didn’t have any family in the military and I didn’t have any friends that were even remotely linked to fighting. I come from a small town in Ireland, Cork to be specific. As to why I’m here; I picked it at random.” He replied his smile fading slightly as he spoke. She must’ve heard thousands of people with the same story over and over again. It was typical in his mind and he didn’t care, it was his story.

Letting out a long sigh she pulled the hand rolled cigarette from out of her mouth and allowed the smoke to exit through her mouth this time. "Well...." She said then paused for a moment. Usually a question was met by an answer, not with another question. Though she appreciated his polite response it irritated her at the same time. Handing her chest plate over to Pluto she continued to remove piece after piece until she was down to a black, leather body suit. It looked similar to the little one Pluto was wearing yet at the same time it was different. "Well lets start out with a brief history. Why did you join? Where do you come from? Did you choose to transfer here or did someone assign you to this job?" The cigarette was down to a knub now. Her frustration, and sudden anger had caused her to smoke a bit faster then usual. "Goooooood damnit!" She said as she looked at the knub. Simply tossing it aside she pulled out another and placed it in her mouth without lighting it. They were now entering the locker area, even she knew not to smoke indoors. She just liked the feeling of having the cigarette in her mouth.

Unzipping the front of her leather suit and pulling it off from her petite frame she started heading in the direction of the showers. She would not tell him that of course, in fact she really did not think twice about it. There were three different bathing areas, male, female, and one made for both. There were thousands of people stationed on the base, and at times the only place to clean up was in the unisex area. Fully removing her leather suit her bare backside faced him. Even though he tried to stay even with her as they walked she refused to allow it. She thought of herself as better than him and pretty much anyone else for that matter.

She was not completely nude, she was wearing a ruby red thong made of silk. Pluto carried Akina's leather suit and glared at the new recruit the entire time. She was waiting for him to look down at Akina's chest or something else. "Aki! Aki!" Pluto said as she pulled on Akina's hand. "Hmm?" Akina looked down and stopped just before they entered the bathing area. Pluto pointed to the female area, "Plu wants to go there." It took Akina a moment but it finally kicked in. If she walked in to the unisex one the newbie could pretty much clean up in there with her. Even though Akina was not shy about her body, Pluto did not want to share her. "Alright Pluto we will go in to there." Akina looked at Kio, "Clean up soldier. We will meet up afterwards and finish our conversation." After that Akina walked off with Pluto. Pluto was a lot older then what she liked. When she died (hybrids are made from dead human tissue @_@) she was 22. When she was turned in to a hybrid she was programed and built to look younger. She served more than one purpose, she was a body guard, and also used to infultrate enemy lines. No one in their right mind would suspect someone so young looking to be a spy. the womens area was empty just as Akina suspected. All the other women were probably in the mess hall or elsewhere.

Akina removed her bottoms (the thong) then tossed it in to the dirty pile in her locker. "Ready Plu?" She asked. Pluto was already in the showers waiting for Akina. Akina and Pluto pretty much did everything together. They even slept in the same bed, but that was pretty much because Pluto was like a little puppy dog. She followed Akina EVERYWHERE! Akina came out of the bathing area wearing a towel around herself. She wated for Kio for a while, "What is taking him so long?" she thought to herself. She hated waiting on other people.
