| Anakin looked down at the floor, silently seething within his mind as they exited the Council room. He had done it again! Why couldn't he clear it all the way?! His hands clenched into fists and he continued to stare at the ground. Things were so much easier.... when I was with you.... Mother..... Those old emotions welled up again, disturbing the Force all around him. Not thinking he could stand to be told off by Obi-Wan again, he rushed off, his shoulders set and rigid. He weaved through the people and went into one of the meditation chambers. He sat down in the middle of the room, trying to expel the negative thoughts swarming about inside of his mind. Why was such a stupid emotion like resentment showing up at a time like this? Why was he mad at Obi-Wan.... and.... Qui-Gon. He shook his head and stood to his feet, unable to concentrate. He began to pace, his hands grasped tightly behind him. |

| ...In A G a l a x y Far, Far Away;;Obi-Wan sighed heavily, looking at his once padawan with doubt. He knew that the young man couldn't help but lose the present and drift off into the future or even the past. Obi-Wan had to trust the now Jedi knight, after all, they did have to watch each others back. Obi-Wan cleared his mind as well prior to entering the Council room; he used the force to move the large double doors open and ambled into the room first. He made his way into the center of the room and bowed to the entire Council with respect.
"What have you found, Master Obi-Wan?" Mace Windu spoke up, eying the two Jedi before him.
"On the planet Arorua, we found no information for leads against the Federation...the only thing that we found were exotic animals--the very same ones from when I was a padawan myself," Obi-Wan Kenobi replied.
"It seems...something happened, horrible it is. Anakin's mind is occupied, but on what?" Yoda spoke up, pointing his finger at the Jedi Knight.
"Master Yoda, we did encounter some trouble, with the creatures that is. During our battles, my lightsaber had been knocked out of my hand and into a nearby mass of water. When I attempted to use the Force and retrieve the lightsaber, I had pulled in a fish, who was the one who ate my lightsaber." Obi-Wan's face was red, flustered from the occurrence and to make it worse, admitting it to the Council.
"I see," Yoda spoke up. "Master Obi-Wan, lost you are. This worries me. You shall remain at your quarters until some matter has appeared that requires your assistance. For now, you rest. Meditate and study the Jedi Code once more you will."
The members of the Council looked down in dismay, though they knew it wasn't like Obi-Wan to make mistakes. Only one couldn't hurt anyone...yet they wanted to make sure Obi-Wan would stir from the code, the order and exile himself or worse, go to the dark side. His master, Qui-Gon Jinn was a great Jedi, though he did not approve of all the rules and codes that the Jedi had created. They hoped Obi-Wan wouldn't be the same the follow his master's ways.
"You two are dismissed."
Obi-Wan Kenobi bowed to the Council and left, attempting to keep his cool. Once the two had exited the Council, Obi-Wan turned to Anakin and jabbed his finger close to his face, "Anakin, I did tell you to clear your mind, didn't I?" he spoke as if Anakin was his padawan once more. "I can't believe this! You gotten me into trouble--well, if that's the case, you're going to be on house arrest AND you will learn how to clear your mind once more." |

| Anakin Skywalker walked among the crowds, trying to find something of interest. Obi-Wan had run off, and now Anakin had nothing to do. He tilted his head down, his lips curving into a smile as he remembered the events of the mission he had just been on with Obi-Wan. To Anakin the mission itself seemed routine, but what had broken that illusions was what happened as they were getting ready to come back. Anakin thought himself that Obi-Wan wasn't being as vigilant as he was supposed to be, because when a swamp-cat jumped on him, the Jedi Master's lightsaber fell out of his hand and into the swamp. Anakin had looked down as the ripples disappeared, and then looked back at Obi-Wan, a smirk coming to his face. When the Jedi Master called back his lightsaber, instead of getting the weapon back, he got back a fish. The fish had eaten Obi-Wan's lightsaber. Anakin barely walking past a small group of Twi'lek females, and was about to go to the Council room by his self, when he sensed Obi-Wan's presence. He looked around, and smirked when he saw that the Jedi Master was within the lightsaber fabrication room. He stopped and leaned against the wall across from the door, crossing his arms over his chest, letting the smirk become a grin, his eyes shining with mischief. He watched as the Jedi Master emerged from the room, and his grin got wider when Obi-Wan looked at him, then took off. He followed after the Master, easily following him through the crowd. Thinking quickly, Anakin hid his Force presence, dodging off into a small side path. He kept to the paths, using the Force to lend him a little bit more speed so that way he could get ahead of the Jedi Master. After a few moments, Anakin stepped out of a path, right into Obi-Wan's way. Ignoring the Master's comment, Anakin continued to follow beside him. The young Jedi wanted so badly to mess with the Master, but he decided to keep silent, realizing that it would irritate the Master more if he didn’t speak. He rolled his eyes, but quickly emptied his mind as best as he could. “As you say, Master. I will not say anything more about the accident…..” |

| ...In A G a l a x y Far, Far Away;;Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi felt utterly foolish. For years he has been reminding his once young padawan that a lightsaber is the most precious item to a Jedi...and yet, he had forgotten this himself. On their last mission--their being Anakin and Obi-Wan's--he had, as he would say, accidently dropped his lightsaber (Anakin suspects it was Obi-Wan being aimless and clumsy instead of unfortunate fate) into a swamp lake, which was soon eaten by one of the inhabited fishes. Not wanting to allow his once padawan to mock him any further, Obi-Wan hurried off their ship once it landed and to the lightsaber crafting room. There he received another green crystal, a lecture from a Jedi master (who was very lighthearted by the humorous situation of lecturing another fellow Jedi master), and immediately began to construct his lightsaber by using the force. Obi-Wan was too embarrassed be too focused on the past, yet flashbacks did pop into his mind every so often of Qui-Gon Jinn teaching him the importance of a lightsaber and how to construct it with his mind. In some aspects, Obi-Wan wanted to surround himself with the past, being around Qui-Gon Jinn once more...yet he remembered of what his master told him years before--be mindful of the present.
It took at least an hour or so for him to fully complete his lightsaber and the moment he had finished, Obi-Wan rushed out of the large room, hoping to skip the sight of the ambling Jedi knights and masters. But unfortunately, his partner and last padawan--possibly his only--Anakin Skywalker was leaning against the wall across from the saber room waiting for his friend with a large grin. Obi-Wan's cheeks puffed out in anger as he embarrassedly and purposely walked away from Anakin, hoping to escape his sight and focus. Although, Obi-Wan could feel Anakin's presence right behind him, following his tail like a dog. Obi-Wan turned corners swiftly, attempting to sneak into large crowds of padawans to hide his presence. Though, when he exited the large crowd of padwans, he still felt Anakin's presence right behind him. Obi-Wan shifted his head over his shoulder to see if Anakin was tailing him, yet when he looked he did not see him at all. Obi-Wan looked about in ponder, wondering where Anakin could've hid himself.
And suddenly, he felt Anakin's presences no longer; with a soft smile he moved on with his day. As he turned the corner towards the Jedi council room to present the information they uncovered in his last mission to higher Jedi masters, when Anakin came out from behind the corner to stop Obi-Wan in his tracks. Obi-Wan had jumped, releasing a soft breath of air to relax himself. "Anakin, you mustn't creep up on me like that, I could very well slice off your hand," Obi-Wan mused, stepping to the side to continue on. Anakin followed beside him, waiting for Obi-Wan to admit he had slipped up. He shifted his eyes to Anakin, automatically stern after so many years of scolding Anakin for him being impolite and prideful, yet there was no stopping Anakin. "If you must know, I am not going to admit a fault that never occurred. If you remember correctly, the Swamp-cat jumped on me, knocked my lightsaber out of my hand and it immediately landed into the swamp--and when I did try to bring it back to my hand, I brought back a fish, which we had soon figured out that nasty, vile, bugger ate my weapon." Obi-Wan paused, stopping in his tracks to also stop Anakin. "It was no mistake Anakin; it was an accident and one which you shouldn't be presenting over and over again with your silly smiles."
Obi-Wan continued on, closing the distance between him and the council chamber. "Now, Anakin be respectful to the masters for they can very well hear your thoughts and know what you're thinking. Clear your mind before entering to dodge any lectures from any of the masters."
[OOC: Private for Racheal~ I'll play as the Jedi Council, don't worry] |
