Kanna nodded her head to him as she just couldn't wait to get back to somewhere safe for her. Things were just getting way to out of hand for her. She wanted sometime for her to relax though she knew the moment that they got to the castle she would have to get to work on making the queen better.

"Yes." He smiled. The capitol is just beyond the border. "We should be there by tomorrow." He released a sigh. "I'm very tired, let's get some sleep." He said undressing some, and slipping under the covers until the morning sun gently warmed his face.

Kanna heard what he said as she nodded her head and held on as much as she could. Though as they finally came up to the town and they slipped into the hotel she gave a sigh. "Please tell me tomorrow we'll be at the castle" she pleaded to him as she really didn't thinks he could handle to much more. She was tired and this trip was taking a lot out of her more so than she would have liked it too.

He turned to her with a smile. "Yes the next town is kind of on the border of the capital, and the nearby kingdom. It's a bit of a seedy area, but we should be able to move around a lot freer." It was nearly night as he stabled the horse, and walked with her into an Inn many of the patrons inside the men looked rough like vagabonds, and thieves, and many of the women appeared to be women of the evening.

He got a room, and walked with her to their room as quickly as he could trying to remain inconspicuous. He locked the door behind them.

Kanna wasn't sure what to think as she looked to him jumping back into the driver seat once more. She just didn't know why this was getting him so upset. Though as he stopped the cart once more she got on just as he wanted her to do. "We almost there?" she asked him as she just didn't want to keep doing this.

He wanted to believe she was telling the truth, but...there was no way she could be with all that had gone on she no doubt wanted to get back home free from all this running, hiding, and having to live like this.

"Once we are in the capital things will be much better." He suddenly heard something. It sounded like horses coming fast. He jumped out of the back, and moved the drivers seat. He had the horses move, from the water, and rush back to the trail. Once the other horse hoof noises were out of ear shot he stopped again, and moved quickly he unyoked the horses, and let one go free. He hoped on the other one, and had her join him. One carrying two individuals was better than having two pull two individuals, and a cart.

The sun had nearly set.

kanna didn't know what to think or do at this point. She could only hope that soon tomorrow they would be at the capital and able to take care of the business that she was here for. Though as he came to a stop and looked to her she gave a smile. "I'm okay really" she said to him with a smile as she just didn't know what else to do. She was a little tired now and as she ate she wasn't sure what to think of this country.

He kept on riding. He was scared to stop, scared for her, but he knew if he kept going like this the horses would surely die from exhaustion. They kept riding until about dusk. He pulled off of the path, to a stream to give the horses a rest. He also gave them the feed the driver had for them.

He sat down beside her in the back. He hadn't said much while they were riding. He wasn't sure what to say. 'Sorry my lack in judgement almost got me killed, and you possibly sold into the life of a slave.'

"Kanna, are you ok?" was all he could think to ask.

Kanna heard what he said as she nodded her head. "Alright then I'm okay with that" she said as she couldn't only wonder what really would have happened. THough she was sure he had just saved them from something horrible.

He didn't want to explain to her what he was trying to do, or what might've happened to her if the slave traders had arrived. He would've only been killed. So much worst would've happened to her. "If they would've taken you...It would've been horrible. Please let's just leave it there." He felt disgusted thinking just how far they'd go.

Kanna was fine as she had done a good job keeping herself seated. "What was going on back there I don't understand" she said as she felt bad at that moment. She really was lost in her mind as she gave a sigh wishing she understood more of this country.
