Arashi crossed his arms over his chest, a gentle wind blew past them causing the leaves above them to shake and a few to fall to the ground. "Hey, where do you think your going? I'm not done with you yet girl!" He removed his arms from his chest and followed after Hikaru slowly, he walked five feet behind her until they reached the edge of the forest where he grabbed her shoulder and turned her to face him. "I said I was going to help you didn't I, my word is my bond so where are we going first?" He couldn't let her just walk away and he also couldn't let her know the truth about the situation or he knew that she would abuse her power over him, any human would do it to control a demon for their own needs.

Hikaru felt her feet leave the ground and winced as she was smashed into the rough bark of a tree. Other than the fact that she winced she gave no indication that she was scared of hurt which only seemed to infuriate Arashi more. She looked calmly back at him with her chocolate hues as he yelled at her in frustration and anger, such a prideful creature, she thought sadly. When he finally released her she noticed that his eyes had darted to the jewel shard around her neck and she sighed before reaching up to lightly touch it with her delicate fingers. The shard was still cold against her warm skin, no matter what it was always cold. She shook her head lightly at him "if this is how you will treat me then perhaps my chances are better on my own. Good-bye Arashi" she said softly, it sounded exactly as it had that day on the battlefield and tears stung her eyes but she turned to hide them. She had been wrong in coming back to try and save him, perhaps the gods were right and she did not belong with him or anyone for that matter. She was the priestess ordained to protect the jewel until she died and she was failing miserably.

Arashi felt her smack him over his head as she snatched the boy from him, although the blow didn't hurt him he felt his blood boil from the Miko taking him lightly. He grabbed both of her shoulders hard and pushed her up against a nearby maple tree with all his strength, he saw her wince from the pain but he didn't back away. "You won't help me?! I'm the one who agreed to go on this journey with you to help YOU out. I also was the one to save your pathetic life before when you were about to become lunch for that demon due to your slow reflexes when it comes to fighting. Next time you should think before deciding to threaten me girl or maybe that next time will be your last." He was baring his teeth at her, a perfect row of white teeth with two longer and sharper ones in there. They were used to rip the meat off of bones when he ate whatever he could get, sometimes he ate animals, other times some demons, and once or twice the occasional human but he detested the taste of humans and demons really. Arashi stared down into the girls big brown hues and then glanced down at the jewel shard that sparkled in the sunlight, he loosened his grip on her and backed away slowly so as to not go to far and make her reluctant to help him later on.

Arashi had his arms crossed over his chest as he waited for her, he was impatient and still irritated by the way things ended up. He looked up when he heard a noise, a dead branch that had fallen from a tree being stepped on and broken. Arashi stood up and cracked his knuckles as a breeze came by and ruffled his jet black hair a bit. "Who's there, either name yourself or get ready to die." Just then a small boy ran out into the forest and stared at him, an expression of shock and wonder on his small face before the boy began to cry. Arashi winced at the loud wailing and walked up to the boy as his eye's twitched. "Hush boy, I won't kill you..." He growled as the little kid kept crying so he grabbed him by the back of his shirt and picked him up so he could look into his face, the little kid stopped crying but was now filled with terror. "Shut up and get out of here, and don't tell anyone about me or I'll come in the middle of the night and kill you and your family." At that moment Arashi saw Hikaru come into the forest out of the corner of his eye's as she saw him holding the boy in the air.

Arashi had soon reached the town and stopped outside in the forest, he would stay here while she got her supplies from the town. "When your done come back here and then we'll get moving." Arashi kneeled down so Hikaru could get off, after that he leaned against a tree and watched as she walked away towards the town, the stench of humans invaded his nostrils as he waited for her.

Arashi grabbed her and placed her on his back, he began to run towards the direction of the town. He wouldn't go into the town because the townspeople would recognize him as a demon and most likely form a mob to try and kill him. He was moving fast and saw the town getting closer as he sped down the dirt road. He had been able to keep some strength and speed as well as his body's high tolerence to injury.

Arashi thought about it for a few seconds then shook his head. "No...not unless you give your holy word as a Miko that you will keep your end of the bargain. Until then I will not do anything." He wanted to be sure that she wouldn't turn on him in the end and try to kill him, he ws a demon after all and she was a Miko. "I promise that I won't ask for the jewel shard from you as my request as well." He wanted her to feel as safe as he could make her so she would eventually drop her guard around him.
