As the group of them dismounted from their horses and gathered together outside that stables a handful of high ranking imperial officers emerged from inside the castle doors. The one leading them gave a respectful bow. "Memory.. Its so good to know that your still alive and well. Welcome home princess. Your father is expecting you and your captors." He stated to them, motioning for them to join them inside the main audience room with the throne chairs. Kaleb turned to his men that were quick to follow. He however only asked two to accompany them while the rest waits outside.

Their horse slowed to a trot as the dirt roads suddenly changed to cobblestone. On either sides of Kaleb's small group, pairs of Imperials riders, positioned themselves on the outside of their formation, guiding them towards the castle walls ahead. The massive iron chains lowered the bridge for entry and the group emerged in the market district within the castle. Kaleb slide off his horse, tying it to the gate at the locale stables.

Kaleb could feel Memory's arms wrapped around his waist, giving him comfort all the while they rode. Leave fell down everywhere when a gust of cool air came in behind them. Beyond the edge of the forest came the valley, displaying a grand sight of fields and farms, the castle visible in the distance. As they came through a few farmers looked up from tilling. Some people took cover thinking it was a raid at first. But they just past them by. The field to the right glowed golden by the yellow flowers.

Kaleb grabbed Memory's hand, pulling her up onto the back of his horse. "Hold on." He cautioned, grabbing the rains. "Heeyaa!" He sounded, making with haist to join the rest of his men on the trek. Once they made it to the main forest path it was clear sailing for a while until they wound reach the valley and capital just beyond the plains and farms. He caught up to him men and formed up in the lead with memory. The trek would give him some time to think.

Kaleb looked up from his horse when he noticed Memory approaching from inside the camp. All his men mounted with him, steering the rides towards the main forest pathway. He tilted his head at Memory. "I would like to think so, but likely not. We won't know unless we try right?" Kaleb questioned, offering a gentle hand to Memory to help her mount on his horse with him.

Kaleb walked up to his horse, preparing a ridding pack that he strapped to the back of the saddle. He pulled his big over robe on since it was starting to get colder out, and tied his two sword holsters onto the sash around his waist. Kaleb looked up from his doings when he was approached by a group of his men. He nodded to the bunch of them and they did the same in return. They were his finest. If something bad were going to go down, they would be as prepared as they could be. he waited patiently for Memory to join them.
