Kaleb nodded to her as she acknowledged him. He reach up gentle, peeling back the kimono off her shoulders, revealing the deep gashes that were still a little sticky with blood. It made his stomach turn as he took in the sight. Kaleb gentle dabbed the warm wet cloth against her back, ringing it out a few times before he finished and set the bowl aside. His laid lightly on her shoulders and he moved in resting his cheek against the back of her neck. "Thank you.." He whispered softly, never having thanked her for indirectly saving him. "I'm so sorry.. I should have been there for you.." He said lightly, his voice filled with sadness. He started having flashbacks of the attempted ambush. He saw his close comrades cut down over and over, and Memory's attempts to buy him some time before being completely overwhelmed.

Kaleb nodded to Memory lightly, guiding her back to his make shift tent. He followed her inside, helping her take a seat. It seemed like any motion she made when it came to bending looked painful. He grabbed a bowl of warm water with a wash cloth, taking a seat on the bed behind her. "May I?" He asked, wanting to have a second look at how the lash cuts on her back were coming along.

Kaleb glanced at Memory for a long moment when she said she didn't want to rest, that she wanted to help them. "You can help me by recovering your strength. I'm going to need you help command the troops during the battle. No way can I give orders to every man on the field." He explained to her. He glanced to one of his captains who was standing by and waiting for orders. "Tell the men to prepare their weapons. Each man on the field will have a bow, wooden spear and their sword." He ordered and his captain nodded, walking off to give the order to the men who were still practicing their sword skills in the clearing. Kaleb put his arm around Memory's shoulders. "Come come now. Even I'm gonna get some rest."

"We've got good bush and forest cover for surprise attacks along the forests borders. We can also fall back across the river, making it hard for any armored opponent to follow without taking a trip to the bottom. As far as armor goes they may have some protection but we are able to move more freely and quick." Kaleb commented, turning back again to Memory. "I seriously doubt that, maybe you should lay down again. I can keep you company if you want."

Kaleb turned to Memory and listened all the while she informed them of the conditions that she told to the Imperial guard. "So they think we're going to siege them?" He repeated mainly to himself, thinking strategy. "If what you've said is true we will have the upper hand in terms of combat but... we don't have enough men to insure victory." He added still looking down at the battle sketches in the dirt. Kaleb turned to Memory and put a loose arm around her for her to lean on him if she wanted. "I don't look okay.. They must have really beat you up."

"...they will most likely be over confident when using their cavalry to attack the flanks, when this happens..." Kaleb was in the middle of talking strategy when he glanced up, seeing memory approaching their small circle. "Excuse me.." He said to he men, walking over to her. "Hey hey, take it easy. You should still be in bed." he stated to her able to see the pain in her eyes just from walking. "How you feeling?"
