She was watching the men then looked to Cylrien. She smiled and shook her head. "Just wanted to watch." She said softly. "But I see I am a distraction to your men. So I shall go." She spoke softly as she moved away from the fence she bowed her head. Sending her silver hair tumbling. "I am sorry." She said softly

Cylrien stopped and stuck the pole blade into the ground, pulling his hair up out of his face. Hearing the men's exclamations, Cylrien looked, and he fought back a smile. He walked over, shooing his men away. To keep the farse going, Cylrien gave her a courtly bow. "Hello, miss. Is there anything I can do for you?"

She had turned to her horse form after he left. And rested that night. She looked at the silver box he had left in her stall. She snorted shifting it hidden from the stable man's veiw. He would never see it under her water pail. Well trough. A large oval pail on two wooden legs that went against the barn wall. She looked to the men training.
The day he was out training she looked at them then to the silver box. She looked around to make sure no one was around. Then unlocked the stall door before changing shapes and pulling on the dress. She walked to the training area. watching them. Many men froze and looked. "Oh wow... An angel.... She's come to bless us in our battles to come!" One man yelled and her eyes widened she was scared. This was the first time in ages since she had shown her human face to others.

He laughed loudly, beginning to walk away. "Tell that to this damn dragon!" As he approached the main building, he was swarmed by people that were worried about him. They sent him off to bed and posted guards outside his door. The next day, he was up and about, training again, despite the physicians protests.

Caballo watched him then blushing she reached over taking the horse blanket and wrapping it around herself. Her hair fell past her waist in a silver cascade as she watched him. "Yes you should" She bowed her head. "Just pretend you don't see the wound on me next time. I will be fine." She spoke ever so softly. "I predict next time they come they will come for me. As you have herd I am a type of Legend. A war horse that can kill as many if not more then the rider?" She tilted her head to the side. Her skin was pale but healthy. She watched him. "I will not be out of horse form for long. YOu should go back in and rest."

He winced, shaking his head. "I wasn't ill. It's that damnable red dragon that enters my mind in the lull after the battle..... You may heal fast, but I must keep up the pretense, eh?" He asked, smiling a bit, leaning against a post.

She looked at him then shook her head. "All my life i've battled. Women are safer in the disguise of an animal. ONe that can do harm." She spoke quietly then she tilted her head. "How did you know?" She asked quietly. Men walked by but figured he was offering the mare a chance to run. She had set an illusion that she the woman wasnt there but she the horse was. "But I thank you kindly Commander. Next time you end up ill tend to yourself. I heal faster then you and your men."

Cylrien started to laugh, and he held up a small silver box. "Then I was right to hide this.
He handed it over the door. "It's a Chinese dress. Use it if you ever feel like getting out of the stables..... I'll make up some kind of excuse for your 'absense'..... "

Caballo stared. As he spoke. There was no way he knew. How could he know what she was. What was he talking about. She shook her head hard and stomped her feet then glared at him. Then she looked over her shoulder to make sure no one was around before she shifted forms. There was a brilliance of silver light from her body as it sharnk and then she stood nude but human looking at him. her eyes where dark as she stared at him. "Your right. I am diffrent." Her gaelic tones where soft as she watched him. "I am a demon" She ran a hand threw her long silver hair always watching for others to come.

He slowly walked to her stalla and looked at her with a half-dead expression, still grimacing, barely panting from the effort it took him to get down here. "Caballo.... You are a unique horse....." He dipped his head, taking several deep breaths. "But you also are something else..... Let no one else even think about that point...."

The mare looked at Cylrien. Shaking her head she indicated the house. She turned to her water bucket and draink quietly. The wound on her shoulder was gone. And as she watched him she tilted her head. What did she have to escort him up to the human stables? She watched him ears perked as she drank. What did he want. They where safe.

For three days, Cylrien's sister stayed in his room, and countless physicians came in and out. On the fourth day, everyone was told to leave Cylrien alone. The sun was starting to go down, and Cylrien woke up, snuck out, and made his way to the stables, a dull headache lingering, causing him to wince every once and awhile. He stopped at the stable entrance, leaning against the large open door, trying to catch his breath.
