She had to think about the plan for a couple of minutes before it actually clicked. "You want me to marry you?". Her brow raised a little in curiosity. "Or do you want us to pretend we are married?" His idea was not half bad. Once two famalies were joined in matrmony (sp?) There was no other choice but an alligence to be formed. It was what the europeans would do. Except most of their marrigaes were arranged. Lei's heart raced with a mix of multiple emotions. "Wait....umm...ummmmmm". She sat up suddenly. "Do you think it will work?". Lei should have had more faith in Enzo but she knew her father would try something or he would suspect something.

Some people thought Lei's father was supid but he only pretended to act that way in order to fool people. "If we are going to pretend then we need to practice. My father will be suspecting something so everything needs to be perfect.". Lei turned around and faced Enzo. "This will not be easy. We will have to learn everything about eachother, and study the way we interact together. One false move and it will all be for nothing.". Everything had to be perfect.

Until now Lei had only assumed that is what Enzos plan was. She could have been completely wrong. "How are we going to pull this off in three months?". She said slowly as she rested her head on his shoulder. "We will have to spend every waking moment together.". Not that Lei minded or anything.

Enzo chuckled when she covered his eyes then he waited for het to take her hands off his eyes before he explained to her seeing her get off the bed, "I was thinking since royalty in other countries marry off important women. Then maybe we could act as so." He said to her then when she asked if his plan didn't work he replied, "I'm not really sure what I'll need to do if it doesn't work." When she began removing her clothing he blushed then he covered his eyes.

Enzo listened to her question though he was too embarised to say anything. He sighed opening his fingers after her shouted that she was sorry, "No it's alright. I should be used to seeing things like that in my line of work." He said to her then he blushed a little redder.

Enzo closed his eyes trying to calm himself down then he looked over at her then he sat down by her feeling less embarised now that she had some clothing on, "I'd love to go to Kobe with you Lei." He said to her with a smile, "I've always wanted to see what a small down was like." He said to her then he felt her head in his lap, "Well, I thought that we would leave within a couple of months. Maybe sooner." He said to her then he started stroking her hair.

Lei opened her eyes then blinked. This whole time she had been behind him. It had not crossed her mind that he wanted to lool at her. "Weeeeeell....what if I don't want you to see me?". She covered his eyes with her hands and laughed softly. "Alright...alright...you win..." She said with a smile. Lei removed her hands from over his eyes and scoot back a little so he would have more room. "What is your plan?" As he began to scoot closer she randomly hopped from off of the bed. "What if your plan does not work?". Lei walked to the closet and began to remove the kimono she had borrowed from Enzo. Since it was night time she decided to dress up in something a little more comfortable.

Lei looked over her shoulder at Enzo, "Do you have anything a little more comfortable?". All she could see was kimonos and other suits he had used in the past. She blushed, "oh my god I am so sorry!" Lei said as she realized that she was wearing nothing but her birthday suit. She wuickly reached and and pulled out a random piece of clothing and put it on. Earlier today she had no problem with getting undressed in front of him. Now that she had a crush on him she suddenly felt shy. Lei bowed her head to him and said, "I am so sorry Enzo kun....I will be more careful next time...". Lei did not know why she was apologizing to him.

Slowly Lei walked back to the bed in a garment made of white silk. It looked like a long sleeved shirt of some kind. As she sat down next to him she avoided looking at him because she felt embarassed. "will you take me with you when you go to Kobe? I can show you around and....and...". There was nothing too exciting in her hometown other than the market. "Oh! I can show you the gardens and the koi pond!". Though Kobe was not a busy town it still had its perks. It was a town full of art, music, and other beautiful things. Lei laid down and reasted her head in Enzo's lap. "When are we going to leave? You might want to wait a little while. Father is probably still very angry."

Enzo smiled at her then he said to her feeling her relaxing against his back, "You don't have to worry about me. I've managed to take on more than just body guards before . So if I were to fight then I could hold my own." He said to her letting her do what she wanted while she was on his back, "If you want then maybe we can both go there and discuss what we do from there." He suggested then he relaxed with her.

Enzo felt so comfortable with Lei right now and being with her made him feel better than he ever did before, "You're welcome Lei. Tell you the truth. This has actually been one of the best days of my life since I got here." He said to her, "I hope I'm not doing anything wrong, but I was wondering if maybe we could be face to face. I like seeing you face while you're with me."

After years and years og violence an killing Lei was ready for peace, "I will do whatever it takes". All Enzo had to do was ask and she would follow. "What is the plan?". Her eyes closed as his hand gently moved up and down her. she could not believe how caring Enzo could be behind closed doors. "Do you think your plan will work?". She held on to him a little tighter. Knowing her father he would probavly.find a way to double crodd Enzo and steal Lei back.

"Be careful Enzo. Father can be very sneaky. He trusts no one but me. He will be suspecting something so be prepared for anything.". Lei pulled back from Enzo slowly "I am scared Enzo.". She then fell silent. "I do not want anything to happen to you.". If something ever happened to him she would never be able to forgive herself. Lei leaned against his back and closed her eyes.

Lei was not tired she was merely relaxing. Her relaxing around Enzo was a good thing it meant she trusted him. Trust was something Lei did not give out. It usually took years for Lei to trust someone. It only took a few hours for Enzo to gain it. It was probably because of the way he treated her, the way he acted around her, and she was sttracted to him. Lei leaned up a little and kissed the back of his neck. "Thank you for everything. I have not had this much fun in a long time."

After Enzo felt her rest her chin on his head he smile and said to her, "Yeah, this is my first real time being with a woman like this. And I actually kind of like the individual attention that we give each other." He said to her then he began thinking, "You were talking about how you want peace between the rival families. I have an idea on how I could make that happen but it will require your assistance." He said to her then he cleared out his throat, "I was thinking that maybe after I discuss with the boss about the situation that we could be commissions for the peace. That you your boss's daughter and I my boss's right hand man be betrothed in order to provide peace. And my boss knows that if he steps out of line with his agreements that I would kill him if it what is required." He said to her then he reached a hand up and gently stroked the back of her neck, "You don't have to decide now, but it's out there." He said to her then he smiled and closed his eyes, "Meeting you was the best thing that ever happened to me Lei."

Lei seemed saddened by the fact that she could not play.  It was probably for the best.  She had not played for many years, and did not know if she could remember the proper chords to play.  “Oh…….”  She said quietly as her eyes shifted from him back down to her feet.  “That is alright.  Perhaps maybe tomorrow I will join the other Geishas and watch them play for a while.  The twangy sound of the three stringed guitar would more than likely bring back memories from her childhood.  Her mother was the one who originally taught her to play…..but that was a long time ago….  Lei did not like to think about her mother, whenever she did she felt ashamed.  No respectful person would ever admit to having a “working girl” for a mother.  Lei blinked and shook her head.  “I am sorry.  I did not mean to drift off like that.  My father gets mad when I do that….I tend to go off in to my own world sometimes…..”  Lei stepped from out of the door way to give him a little room to enter. “Do you want to know what I find interesting?  Our stories are so similar…..Both of our parents traded us to get out of debt, we both were raised in the mob…and now here we are…”  What a small world that two people who were suppose to hate each other ended up having so much in common.  “You know what?  I am glad you captured me.”  If Enzo would not have captured her they would have never met.  “Now…..If I can somehow convince my father to stop this stupid war everything will be fine!”  It was a good idea but highly improbable.  Lei’s father was as stubborn as he was ruthless.  The man never backed down from a fight, and never gave up on anything.  She sighed,  “I am just fooling myself.  He will never listen to me….I am just a woman….”  Being the Boss’s daughter had its perks.  She could do many things that a woman could never do.  But when it came to directly asking for something like peace it was out of the question.  “Wait!  You can ask him!  He will listen to you!”  Lei’s eyes lit up with excitement.  Lei followed behind him and took a seat in the center of the bed.  She laid back and looked up at the ceiling as she thought about everything,  “No…..even then….he will not listen.”  She rolled on to her side and looked up at Enzo.  “I do not wish any ill will on my father….but when he dies….I will make sure then is peace between all of the yakuza.  I am tired of always fighting.  I am tired of always looking over my shoulder or questioning who my true allies are.  I want to be able to walk the streets in Kobe without any bodyguards.  I want to be able to eat without having to worry about whether my food has been poisoned or not.”  She grabbed a pillow and held it to her chest.  “Sometimes I wish I was just….normal….”  Lei threw the pillow playfully at Enzo, “Sorry I tend to talk too much…..What do you want to talk about? Wait....you have never in the same room alone with a girl before???". She had a look of shock on her face. "But..." Lei sat up, "I see....". She hugged him from behind and said, "its alright. Don't be nervous. Its my first time being alone in a room as well.". Back at her fathers home Lei was exposed to many things but was never allowed to be alone in the same room with a man. Lei always had a body guard or two with her. Even when she was om an assassin assignment she had a body guard with her. Lei giggled then rested her chin on the top of his head.

Enzo sighed then he said to her, "He has one in his room but i wouldn't reccomend going in there at the time. He's 'working' with his geishas when ever one of these parties start up." He said to her then he rubbed the back of his head thinking of something that they could do in the mean time. He smirked lightly and said to her, "Well don't worry about cleaning. I don't like it myself and i wouldn't make you do something that I'd need to do anyway." He said to her then he looked up at the ceiling, "I guess that we could talk for now, get to know what we like and don't like. I've never been alone with a woman before."

"I meant what I said earlier. I know it sounds like a foolish dream but its true.". Lei did not know how to explain it. When she was around him she felt safe. She knew she could trust him even though it had only been a day. Her plans of running away no longer existed. As long as Enzo did not betray her she would stay by his side and remain as his geisha. Now that Enzo mentioned it it was really loud. It seemed like there was some type of party going on. "I do not think I can sleep even if I tried. There is too much going on.". She let out a short sigh and looked down at her feet. "It is alright though. I can sleep when everything calms down in the morning.". She looked back up at him and smiled. "I will find something to keep myself busy. There must be plenty of things to do in this household....except for cleaning....I refuse to clean..." Lei paused for a moment the suddenly said, "does your master keep a guitar around (I forget the name of the three stringed insturment that geishas play)?". Lei had not played for years. Since

Enzo blushed after she called him her hero, "Trust me Lei. I'm no hero." He said to her then he listened to what she had to say about not being able to imagine life without him, "If you don't want me to know about it I'll forget that you said it. Even though I don't really want to forget it."

Once at the house, Enzo listened to Lei's question about how he could stand being able to live the way that his boss lives, "After you live here as long as I have, you get used to things. And this is just one of those things." He said to her taking her up to Enzo's room so that they could avoid the crowd and also the pervert men that thought with nothing but their crotches, "I won't make any advances on you while you're here. I know it is going to be too noisy around here to sleep well tonight." He said to her before they arrived at his door.

"My hero." Lei meant what she said. He had protectedher on more than one occasion today. He had also provided her with everything she had asked for. Maybe life with Enzo was not going to be as bad as she thought. "I was raised to hate you but now I cannot imagine living a life without you.". She said to him as he put his arm around her. Lei was not saying she loved him. It was too soon to confess something that serious to him. Her cheeks became flushed with a deep red color. "I can't believe I just said that.". Lei thought to herself.

Showing any type of emotion was a sign of weakness. "I am sorry I should not have said that.". Lei wanted to hide after saying that.

Lei remained quiet for the rest of the way home. Enzo was not the only one who had a history of messing things up. At one time Lei was engaged to a fellow mob boss of the northern region. After Lei refused to give up the life of an assissin he broke it off. He said that no wife of his was going to work and run around like a common thug. After him Lei vowed never to let herself to get hurt again. "Could this really work?" She thought to herself. Lei rested her head on his shoulder and tried not to worry about it. Finally they reached the house of Enzo's "master". There were guards everywhere as well as women. "I am sorry to tell you this but your master disgusts me....why does he need so many women?". Lei's father had cincubines, and geishas as well but only a handful. Her father never had more than two of his women in his house at one time. "How can you stand it?"

Enzo smirked and then he said to her, "It was nothing. He was disrespecting you so I did what i had to in order to preserve your honor." He said to her then he listened her her joke, "Trust me, I don't think any man his class could afford a night with you. Then again I don't really think I'll just sell you off like that." He said to her then he got up straight and he went back and wrapped his arm around her, "Let's just go back. This has been a little too much excitement for my tastes. You can take the bed and I'll just get a cot. You're my guest after all." He said to her, "The boss may have given you to me, but I don't really think of humans as possessions."
