Hisamu shook his head and then said to her, "Over confidant was just a small part of what you were. What is the number one rule to thieves and any carreer that uses stealth? Never let down your guard. You can be the stealthiest person on the planet, but if you have no guard you might as well strap castenets to your feet and throw a stick of fireworks."

Mallory pouted lightly. A break sounded so boring. About to protest she caught Miyako's firm expression. Sighing she nodded her head, "I might have broken it, I doubt it though..."She grubmled. Still limping she glanced down at her ankle," I know I was lucky, I got over confident...didn't I.."

Hisamu sighed looking at Mallory and then said to her, "Why don't you take a break for a while. What that Kimae could have broken your leg with that chain, but then again you aren't an ordinary person, someone ordinary would have had their leg taken straight off if that happened to them." He ssaid clarifying what could have happened to her, "Consider yourself lucky too. Or you might have been dead."

Mallory nodded then gazed down at her injured leg, "It does hurt...a little." Miyako shook her head laughing softly,"Always such a stubborn and determined child." Smiling she slipped her arms lightly around the younger girl, "Shall I presume it hurts a lot more then a little Mallory?"

Hisamu sighed then he started walking, "Alright, now that we're all finished up here. We need to get back to HQ. Will possibly need to get you rested up or you'll be in no condition to take on the next mission. After all, that ball and chain that pulled you down was about twenty pounds just in the ball, it most likely cause some unseen damage."

Mallory pouted lightly,"Fiiinee."She grumbled. Shaking her head she shifted her gaze to Miyako,"Thankyou Miyako."SHe spoke softly.Miyako listened to Hisamu with a curious expression,"That explains it then."

Miyako rolled her eyes, men so utterly useless when it came to the importance of jewel's, "That jewel has been in that families line for centuries, it's value is what is so improtant."She reminded him.Shaking her head she gazed at Mallory who meerly laughed, "So...did i pass your test Hisamu?"She asked. As he walked closer she watched him listening to his words quietly," Yes that was his name,he said he was an assassin," Tapping her chin she shurgged,"Everyone has a previous record,especially in our trade."

Hisamu sighed and then he shook his head, "Well, you have a point there. But just a question, I may have tested her on her abilities as a thief, but what is it about that jewel. I never even understood the consept of that thing myself." He said to Miyako while he walked closer since Kimae was now gone, "And it's interesting. I think I remember that man from before. Was his name Kimae. If so, he certainly has a long rap sheet, multiple murders of high class soldiers, even those that were said to have inhuman abilities. I see why he has those rumors about him with what that man just did."

Miyako gazed at at Hisamu frowning firmly,"Don't you understand Hisamu,she failed she didn't pull it off,Mallory you would more then likely be dead if I hadn;t intervened,you don't even have the jewel now,Understand it isn;t a game anymore, your stealing items of value now instead of little things like you did as a child."
