Maya stared down at Mai. "Well, she's just rude." she thought. she thought about their first assignment. "Oh...this isn't going to be good, our teamwork sucks." she whispered. "Alright...everyone ready to set out?" she asked.

It had been the next day everyone was to report to the enterence in the forest. Maya stood next to a carraige. "This is so stupid, helping these people...with the aid of a demon...how completely absurd..." she whispered. Dimetri had been sitting on the back of the carraige to make sure no theives would get by, Kao inside the carraige. And Willow and Mai, were suppost to be in the front to guide the horses. Maya would fly ahead to make sure noone suspicious was near them. "Oh, will those two hurry up already?" she whispered.

Kao, shuffled his feet. "Why does everyone have to fight?" he asked himself. He looked around. "Well...it is a livily group..." he whispered. He turned and left to his room.

Willow was somewhat startled by Demitri’s introduction, and she answered in a calm, quiet voice. “Willow.” She responded to his explanation of his being a wolf anima. “I see that. I’m… well, human. There’s nothing special about me really.” Another comment came from the other side of her, a well-expected comment about her being a human. And there it is, she thought. I’m surprised it took so long for anyone to say something. She looked at her and answered in the same previous calm voice, as if making small talk. “I’ll contribute what I’m capable of. Can’t do anything more than that.” Turning away, she said one last thing, her words tainted with a sense of sarcasm. “I’ll try not to burden you.” Listening to the Queen and her son continue talking after the little bout between the demon and the angel had ceased. She fidgeted by tugging at her sleeves, pulling them down past her fingertips as she contemplated what lied ahead for them. Obediently following to her assigned room, she took one last look around at her future companions. All nearly complete opposites. An angel and a demon, a spirit and an anima, …and then there was her.

Maya had a blank expression. "What, a demon?" she asked "You are annoying." she told Mai. "There, is no "pixie, in this room, there is an angel, a spirit, a anima, an human, and you, a damn demon." she told her.

"Isn't this nice..." "Okay, Maya, is an angel, as you can see....Mai, looks, and acts, like what she is...a demon. Dimetri, a wolf anima, Willow, a human...and Kao a spirit...lovely." he whispered. Then showed everyone to there rooms. "Tomorrow you'll be escorted to a forest here, and you'll be given a job to help a couple, move, items to the next town. I know it isn't exactly the best thing, but you'll do it.
