"Pour halfway? Well, that just won't do! Then the cup won't be full!" the March Hare huffed, setting his cup on the tabletop. The Mad Hatter took his fork to the pink frosted cake before asking another question of the girl. Humans were oh-so intriguing. The Hatter had never met one before.
"So, my dear. Why are you in Wonderland to begin with? Is there something or someone I can help you find? The Hare and I know mostly everybody in Wonderland." He wiped a glob of frosting from his cheek that appeared to have missed his mouth, and popped it into his mouth. The March Hare passed him a cup of tea with two cubes of sugar before passing one to Alice. Right after she answered and was about to put the porcelain cup to her lips, the Hare cried out. "Clean cup! Clean cup! MOVE DOWN!"

The two grabbed her hands and skipped down to the middle of the table, where clean cups awaited the trio. "More tea?" The Mad Hatter asked politely. "Wait a moment! Is today your unbirthday, my dear? We should celebrate!" "Yes, yes! A party!" The March Hare agreed whole-heartedly. The Dormouse popped his head out of his teapot. "Party!" he exclaimed before sinking back inside drowsily."Now that we've all agreed, we must give Alice her present!"

The Mad Hatter reached under the table and pulled out a rather colorful and decorative box, topped with a huge pink ribbon. "MERRY UNBIRTHDAY!" they screamed, handing her the box, proceeding with a song.

"A very, merry unbirthday to you! Time to blow the candles out, my dear, and make your wish come true! A merry, merry unbirthday to youuuuuu~!"

Alice gave a slight jump at the Hatter's response and gave a small blink at them as they started coming closer. That was really the last thing she wanted them to do - she thought they were weird from far away but now that they were coming to sit by her she was racking her brain around plans to get herself out of here! "Maybe if I politely ask if I can use the bathroom.. oh no then someone might show me where it is. Or perhaps I could say my mother is sick?" She started thinking before looking up to see the two of them sitting and asking her questions.

Actually, their "questions" just happened to be the same one, they were simply finishing each others sentences which only made her even more uncomfortable. Could the two creeps possibly read minds? Did they enjoy bringing strangers here and messing with them in such ways? "Hm, well... I came from my house actually! See, I live with my brother and he's not very reliable and never tells me when we need things until the last minute, so I was out shopping when I saw this-" She gave another blink when the Hatter interrupted her and she crossed her arms in protest. "That's really not at all nice to interrupt someone when you asked them a question you know.." She mentioned before hearing his riddle.

"Ah! Now this is better, let's see here..." She mumbled quitely before pointing to her fingers every once in awhile as she tried to sort things out and figure out what the answer was. However, she really couldn't seem to get it at all. It made no sense whatsoever! Their expressions when she told them what he'd asked her only made it even weirder! She watched as they started pouring tea and stood up when they cut a cup in half, though to her surprise nothing spilled out. She gave a small blink and sat back, this place was awfully confusing. "Excuse me... but wouldn't it be easier to just pour the cup half way instead of cutting it? You could make a mess..."

(( o god I rofl'd though, they'd be the best friends ever. Again, late as hell and crappy as ever but children like to eat me and consume my world atm so work tires me out xD sorry ^^; ))

"AHH!" The March Hare's expression changed to one of recognition, although the two had never met before. The Mad Hatter stood up with him at the exact same time to move closer to Alice, March Hare hopping beside the table, Mad Hatter tip-toeing his way around the cups and plates on the top of the white tablecloth. He jumped into the seat directly to Alice's right and crouched down, face in his left palm, elbow placed on his left knee. The March Hare took the seat to her left, sitting on top of the chair in the same position, except mirrored with his left. They leaned forward, eyes full of interest.

"So, dear Alice, how-"
"...did you get here? And-"
"...where did you come from?"

They finished each other's sentences, leaning further forward. But as she began to explain, The Mad Hatter stood up and pointed at her. "RIDDLE! How is a raven like a writing desk?" he asked as if the answer was obvious. The truth was, he hadn't a clue himself. But he was soon distracted by pouring himself a cup of tea, forgetting the question completely. So when he heard Alice mumble to herself, he asked what she said. When she responded, mimicking the question, he gasped and stepped back. His expression was truly shocked. The March Hare hid behind him. "She's stark raving MAD, I tell you! Have a cup of tea! Calm down!"

The Hare sat down and neatly cup a cup in half, vertically, holding it out to The Mad Hatter. "Just a half cup, good sir!" Mad Hatter poured the cup, the tea staying neatly in the porcelain cup.

[Short again D: lol, they must have ADHD or something xD]

...which luckily I am.

Alice gave a small blink at the sounds that came from within the house after the crash, yelling and whatnot, and then to have such a curious person anwser the door. It was all very strange for her. But what made it even stranger was when he opened the door, he didn't say "Hello" or "How do you do." No, he started yelling at her. Well she couldn't very much disobey such a demanding person, even if he was terribly rude.

"What a strange place this is... and it's all inside of a house nonetheless. A house within a house with talking flowers and uncivil people! I must be dreaming, this can't be right." She mumbled to herself as she sat down in the armchair. It was only a few more seconds before she looked up and took note of all the food. It looks really wonderful actually, but it was only 10 in the morning. Tea already? "Really.. this can't be real." She said before glancing over at the Hare.

To be quiet honest, she had hoped that the two of them would continue minding their own business, chatting and eating and enjoying tea so that she could find a way to sneak out of the place and back towards the flowers to ask which way was out (for she was quite sure that neither the two...or... well three if she wanted to count the Dormouse, knew which way was up and which was down), but of course her hopes didn't turn out the way she wanted. "M-my name?" She repeated back, a bit surprised they'd even bothered to notice her. "It's..." She had started before stopping to shout back at them. "IT'S ALICE SIRS!" She figured that since they shouted up to her, she might shout down to them incase they couldn't hear. And she really didn't want to be pushed into another odd situation from that pusher Hatter.

(( Yeah, I really suck. I've been kind of um... idk really depressed kind of lately and not going on the comp much so sorry. Fall took a break this year and it makes me sad ;____; ))

The Mad Hatter was simply minding his own business, picking up the un-birthday cake for the afternoon tea party he always shared with the March Hare, when he heard someone outside of his front door. Someone had stepped on the flowers in his flowerbed! And the voice belonged to a rather lost-looking girl in a blue dress, he noticed as he peeked out the window, dropping the cake with a crash on the floor. He frowned. If he hadn't been so distracted, the cake would've been on the table in the backyard already. The March Hare was to arrive shortly and there wasn't a cake. "Dormouse! Oh, Dormouse!" he yelled, only to have a pot on the counter pop open, a sleepy mouse's head appear from the top. "Yes, sir?" he replied drowsily (or perhaps it was a 'she'? No one quite knew.) "We need a new un-birthday cake. Go open that box in the corner. I forget if I kept one in there."

As the Dormouse followed orders obediently, the Mad Hatter swung open his front door to meet the girl who had made him ruin a perfectly good pastry. "ExCUSE me?" he exclaimed, "But, who are you? I'm in a bit of a hurry, if you must know, and it is very hard to concentrate when someone is stepping in your flowerbed. You must understand that, I hope. Now, if you could please follow me, I shall find you a seat in which you will not be a bother." He said this in a way that was not a request, but an order, and the girl stepped inside. The Mad Hatter ushered the girl to the backyard where she took a seat at the end of the table, the large red armchair dwarfing her size. He took a seat on the other side of the rather long table, who's tablecloth was cluttered with teapots and cups, jam and butter, knives and spoons, cakes and toast, and pretty much any other tea-party-type related items. In all different colors and sizes. It was terribly confusing to gaze upon, that is, if you aren't the Mad Hatter or March Hare. The Dormouse tended not to notice such things, always being asleep in one particular pot.

The March Hare hopped through the small white gate between the hedges and jumped onto the seat besides the Hatter. "A wonderful day for a tea party, wouldn't you say?" he snatched up a piece of toast and lathered on the strawberry jelly. "Such a good day in fact that- WHO IS THAT?!" the Hare tossed his toast up in surprise, landing on a stick of butter a few feet in front of him. "Haven't a clue!" the Hatter responded cheerfully, sticking his fork directly into a pink-frosted cake, while pouring himself a cup of tea with his other hand. "What's your NAME?!" the Hare exclaimed, having to yell across the table for her to hear well.

The shopping hadn't taken nearly as long as she thought it would, no, in fact she had an extra 30 minutes to wait for the next bus while usually she only had 5-10. And what was the reason for such a large gap between her usual time and today? Well, the rain of course. She stood there under the bus shelter, practically the only one, giving off a small groan every once in awhile as she knew this wasn't doing anything for her cold. Why couldn't he have gone by himself?! They'd just gone shopping after all! She stuck her tongue out at the imaginary Erik standing in front of her and didn't even notice the strange look the man next to her had given. Alice was a strange girl indeed, she knew she was, well... not strange of course. Just... different from others perhaps. In her younger years while the other kids in her class would rather have played outside she prefered to sit under a nice tree and daydream of what it would be like to be a queen, or a dinosaur worked equally well. Though just as she started thinking about other things besides what she was going to yell at Erik for when she got home a tiny white rabbit darted out in front of her and continued running on down the street. She thought nothing of it at first, though she did find it a bit strange that he was wearing a waistcoat it seemed perfectly normal to her until he took out a pocket watch, looked at the time and continued running faster.

She gave a small blink at this sight and looked over at the man next to her who seemed unfazed by this and hurried after it. She followed it for about a good 3 blocks before deciding to set the groceries down in a tiny alley way under a cardboard box. She had enough money, if they were taken she'd just buy more. "Oh I'm late! So very, very late! She'll have my head for sure this time!" Alice blinked as she heard the rabbit around a corner and she looked up just in time to see him slip into a building. She walked up to it once she was sure he was safely inside and set her umbrella down. If she knocked...he'd know she followed him wouldn't he? But then again if she didn't knock he wouldn't need to know and she could find out just what exactly he was late for so without another moments thought she grabbed the handle, opened the door and stepped inside.

However when she stepped inside what she expected to be floor was instead nothing, and she was quickly falling down the rabbit hole. Now she was either falling very slow or the hole was just a long way down because she had time to look around at the different things, cupboards, pictures, even dishes were simply hanging there! After what seemed like an eternity though she finally managed to land on the ground with a large thump sound though she really couldn't feel any sort of pain from the fall. Once she'd collected herself and stood up she brushed herself off and looked around her as she did so, though looking up was useless as all she could see was black. "Hello?" She called out, and all she got was a simple 'hello' back from her echo. This place was awfully strange for a house now that she thought about it. "I guess...since I'm already and there doesn't seem to be a way out I might as well just see if I can find the silly White Rabbit again!" She mentioned, walking out of the wooded area she seemed to be in and stepped out into garden full of all different colored flowers right next to a small little cottage. She took another step and a small sound came from underneath her, causing her to jump out of the flower bed as a voice started yelling at her.

"Girl! You should watch where you're going y'know, we're sleeping down here!" She blinked at the voice and walked back over to the voice. "W-who is..?" She asked. "Us!" The voice answered back. "You know Hatter won't be very nice if he finds out you almost killed us!" "Hatter? Is he the one in the house?" She asked. A small moment of silence that caused Alice to raise her eyebrow in curiosity soon came upon the voice and just as soon as it had stopped talking it started up again. "He lives in the house! You should go knock on the door..." She looked back at the house again and decided to take them up on the offer, walking around the flower bed this time and onto a path the lead straight to the door. She took a small deep breath and knocked once before hearing a small crash on the inside of the door, obviously whoever was inside hadn't been expecting to hear that. She really hoped she wasn't bothering whoever they were...
