He walked in the night with his new girlfriend - a fair young lady with beautiful blond curly hair. She was calm and cheerful. They were walking down an alley in the park and she was singing something quietly, enjoying herself.

"Why don't we sit down here?" said the guy, pointing a bench near the path. He offered her a seat with his hand and smiled lightly. The path was quite dark and the nearest lamp was some steps behind them.

Her face looked happy and interested, she sat down quietly and put her hands in her lap. She thought that she was going out with a gentleman, a person which was told to be extinct. Her previous dates were all boys who didn't respect her and treated her badly.

The guy was young, maybe in his mid-twenties with black messy hair and slim body. He sat beside her, putting his arm around her shoulders.

"May I kiss you?" he asked gallantly and got close to her. She nodded impatiently and closed her eyes.

But their lips never met.

He went for her neck, sinking his fangs deep into her throat. She tried to scream, but couldn't, then she gave in and lost consciousness.

The guy liked her and didn't want to bleed her dry, but he had no choice. If he let her go, she would remember and the things could only get worse. So he continued drinking until the rhythmic sound of her heartbeat stopped. He sighed and got up. 'There will be another article soon. Maybe I should leave this town until they try to catch me.' the young man thought and walked towards the exit of the park.

As he was walking, he felt a strange sensation pass throughout his body. It was as if someone was trying to get in him, or read his mind or something. But he quickly calmed himself and used his vampire abilities to throw out the intruder from his head.

He closed his eyes for a moment and shivered. Who would do such a thing? Another vampire? A vampire hunter, trying to catch him? An alien? He didn't know, but he was worried...

The cool air brushed along the leaves as a slight drizzle patter against the sidewalk. One could see
the full moon through the clouds above. The street lights were dim leaving shadows not far from
the path.

A young woman walked down the path a hood on her head shadowing her face. She hums quietly to
herself enjoying the rain. She looks up and spins lightly her feet gliding along the sidewalk. She giggled
quietly as she pulled her hood down. The rain stopped and she slipped the Hood back on and started
back to the hotel she was staying in.

The woman sat on her bed and glanced out the window. She sighed crossing her legs and got her computer
out and got on a search engine. She wasn't sure why but she wanted to come here. She wanted to go out
and just let her feet take her away but she was scared what she didn't want to find. There was stories that
people where found dead drained of all the their blood. She didn't want to come for that reason but
something told her to come here.

She sighed moving her black hair from her face and staring off into the night air. Something was out there
that she needed to find, or was it someone. She sighs she always was a bit different. She could tell what
other people was thinking, read their thoughts and what not. She thought everyone could do it when
she was younger and found out the hard way she was the only one.

She sighed and laid back in her bed and let her mind open to wonder to other peoples minds. first she was
bored and just looking for something to do, but she also wanted to see if she could find someone to give her
a clue to why she was here. As she was mind surfing she found one man that his thoughts interest her. She
kinda hovered there looking though his mind. He knew so much. She smiled slightly but then was quickly
slammed out. She jumped up her eyes wide. It felt like someone just slammed her into a wall. "What
the?" she whispered and tried again.
